He leapt forward so quickly, that the ground beneath his feet not only broke, but heated up so much that he left a red hot crater where his feet were. Bahamut cracked his neck and rolled his shoulders as he watched the etherious climb out from underneath the great city. He smiled in excitement, but also watched with curiosity as the demons fully rose above the cavern.

'I'm not familiar with these creatures. I'll assume they're around the same level of power as Deliora. I should still be cautious, if they use curses, I won't be able to devour them.' Bahamut reasoned. He watched as the first demon rose to its full height, and watched as three others climbed out from behind it. The demon roared amidst the red sky, and for a moment, the landscape truly looked like hell.

The First demon was tinted grey, and it had a cone shaped head, but it also had rows of Jaws. About four Jaws that all opened up at once. Bahamut watched as four bulbs of energy appeared in front of all four Jaws. The creature reared its head back.

Bahamut saw that its neck was exposed.

So he leapt.

is wake. He hit the neck of the demon so hard that his hand tore through the hard neck of the beast, and as a result, it's massive head crashed to the ground. It's body remained standing, and strangely enough, the magic beam it had been preparing shot out of its now exposed throat and tore through the sky and air as it fell to the ground.

The other mages leapt out of the way as the death beam made its way towards them. It's upper half hunched over, and the beam tore through the land, creating a massive wall of fire and destruction that sprouted up for many miles. The beam faded out, and all that remained was a massive, hot ravine that spread down for miles.

The other three demons roared, and soon even more began sprouting up from underground. Smaller ones did as well, all presenting strange, humanoid but also deformed, animalistic qualities. They all raced forward, and the guilds got ready for combat right as a stream of red poison shot past them and blew away most of the lesser demons. Diabolos was confused, and they all turned to see Erik and the rest of Rebellious standing at the edge of what was once the capital of seven.

"...dispose of the demons, and then the dragon slayers." Touka ordered calmly. More etherious ran at them at full speed, while more giant etherious crawled out from the pit. Bahamut turned around, and saw that the giants were all focused on him rather than the others. That was, until a giant lightning bolt caused one of the titans to keel over in pain. It's back was smoking, and the red glow in its eyes intensified as if in anger.

"Lightning Dragons, ROAR!" Laxus chanted. The beam of lightning hit the demon dead on, and caused him to fall backwards. The resulting crash caused a small earthquake. The other three titans looked surprised, and then they all roared in fury. Their roars tore apart the landscape beneath their feet, and caused gale force winds that blew out some of the fires. The demons all charged towards Rebellious (ignoring Bahamut who decided to just sit back and watch for a bit.)

"Holy Ray!"

"Soul extinction! "

"Poison Dragons scales!"

"Infinite sphere!"

"True heavenly body magic. Sema!"

Ray's of light, a blast of dark magic, poison projectiles and numerous crystal orbs targeted both the lesser etherious and the titans standing above. The lesser etherious were probably all at the level of a low A class wizard, but none of them remained standing after that volley of attacks. The clouds formed atop the demons, and a massive fiery ball of death, similar to the one Jellal used on Bahamut before, formed above the head of the titans. All three remaining titans looked up at the meteor above, while groaning in pain as the other attacks struck them. The one that was hit with the soul extinction spell stumbled backwards, but did not fall.

The one Laxus struck down rose back to its feet as well, and they all opened their Jaws wide open. Beams of energy formed in their mouths, and right as the mentor was atop their heads they released the magic, and it resulted in a massive explosion that actually destroyed the meteor above them entirely. All the mages had to shield their faces from oncoming debris.

"All that power, and they destroyed it!?" Kiria exclaimed.

"We're out of our league here, Acnologias' back on his feet and looking healthier than even before Ignia ripped him apart. It's time to retreat, we have no reason to stay." Skullion decided. However, right as Skullion tried to use his magic, a massive wave of rock overtook them.

"None of you are allowed to leave so sayeth the lady! Oh yeah!" Hoteye exclaimed. The ground was turned to ash a moment later, and Skullion seemed rather annoyed with the block headed man. He took a moment to consider his surroundings, and realized that despite their power, they were heavily outnumbered and more than likely outgunned.

What he didn't realize was that they had a teleporter.

Mest appeared right in front of the group, with the white mage at his side. She raised her hand, and the dragon eaters all fell to the ground.

"Dragon eaters, ah, you must be Diabolos then. You shall be tainted white, for your magic, is too powerful to be left alone." Touka said. Meanwhile, Jellal and the others were in a state of shock.

"T-they destroyed my Sema spell!? My god, not even the demons from Tartaros were that powerful from what I heard!"

"Dammit! Hope I don't have to use Fairy Law on all of these fuckers, I'm not sure I'd survive it." Laxus added.

"We can't give up yet, we still have to…Jellal?" Ultear asked

"Yes?"

"Where did Acnologia go?"

"Hm?...No...way! Up in the air!" Jellal exclaimed. The others all looked up, and sure enough above the dust cloud of fire that was once a meteor, was Bahamut, who was sucking in so much air some of the clouds and dust clouds were actually swirling into his mouth.

"He's preparing a roar!" Laxus shouted.

"Everyone clear the area!" Jellal yelled. The two of them activated their heavenly and lightning body magic, and grabbed as many of their comrades as they could before flying off. The demons were looking up at Bahamut, having noticed him as well, and were preparing their attack again. The demons' attacks were glowing red, while Bahamut was glowing an intense blue.

Bahamut let out one last inhale

The demons let their rain of power out, and a beam of reddish, orange energy shout out towards Bahamut.

Then, Bahamut unleashed his own roar.

His arcane dragon roar tore straight through the attack of all the demons, like it wasn't even there, and they were all engulfed in a blazing blue light. The impact created a category ten earthquake, and the Rebellious mages were all blown out of the entire city due to the visible shockwave his roar had produced.

The Titanic demons all roared in agony, before being vaporized into nothing but particles in the hot wind by Bahamuts' power. That blast blew everything away like a nuclear blast, and it was even more visible then one too.

Natsu and Wendy were amazed at being able to ride a ship without being sick. Actually, Natsu was running around jumping for joy. Much to the annoyance of Dimaria.

'I can't believe this moronic bastard is secretly Emperor Spriggans brother, and such a monster.' Dimaria thought. She gritted her teeth as he ran around her in glee, cheering like a five year old child. Luckily, Erza got annoyed first.

"Knock it off Natsu! We're amongst guests!" Erza yelled before banging his head. He rubbed his head in pain, and Gray noticed he hadn't fallen over like he used to.

'Guess the two of us did get stronger. I wonder if I can finally beat Erza now-'

"Wipe that look off your face Gray!" Erza yelled while pointing at him. Gray stiffened.

"Yes ma'am!" He cried.

'First we gotta get rid of our childhood brainwashing! She' s probably not even that scary anymore but I panic everytime she yells at us!'

Right after that little scuffle, Invels eyes widened as he saw something approaching them. A shockwave, a shockwave so massive it blew down trees and affected the clouds high above. His eyes widened further, as he saw the blue glow far away.

"GET DOWN!" Invel cried out. The other mages were confused, until the shockwave hit the flying ship, and it flipped out of control. Lucy screamed in terror, Erza and Dimaria used their blades to stay on the ship while keeping a calm facade. Wendy floated in mid-air and caught Lucy with her magic, and Natsu was hanging onto a beam of the ship while also crying out in surprise.

"What was that!?" Gray exclaimed. The ship flipped over, and they all saw it, the blue light off in the distance that resembled a massive sun.

"This magic power, it has to be him!" Erza yelled as she covered her face. A wave of dust hit them, so Ajeel used his magic along with Wendy to keep the dust, sand and wind at bay.

"He's alive…how the hell is he alive!?" Natsu yelled. He remembered it all so clearly, Acnologia's body crashing into multiple crystals, and disintegrating into multiple crystals. He had finally avenged his father.

Or so he thought.

Natsus' flames burst out suddenly, and he gained a rare expression on his face. An expression of pure rage, and vengeance.

"Natsu!?" Erza yelled. Dimaria stood up and took a few steps back, her hand trembled slightly as she remembered that time in the dungeon. The first time something broke her time for real, without some outside help. The first time she felt true fear, and it came from him.

"I need to finish what Igneel started! It's time to slay a dragon!" Natsu yelled out. His eyes were like pinpricks, he didn't genuinely hate many things in the world, Natsu was a pretty easy-going guy, often forgetting the enemies he fought or forgiving them. He rarely hated people, there were only a couple he truly hated.

Acnologia was at the very top of that list.

There was also a feeling in his gut though, a feeling he didn't feel very often. If Dimaria feared him as her demon, her bogeyman even, then Acnologia was his bogeyman.

It was the one thing that used to keep him up at night.

Once he was gone, life was like a dream.

Now he was back, and the dream was gone.

'Can I even win?' Natsu thought. They flew over the final mountain, and the remains of the city came into view. Erza covered her mouth with one hand.

"T-the whole capital, it's…it's all gone…" Erza said.

"My god, look at the crater that bastard left." Ajeel said. The smoke blotted out the sky, the crater spanned around for miles. Nothing remained, and rebellious watched from the very edge of the massive crater. You couldn't even tell that there was once a city there. All that remained was a pile of hot rubble, smoke, and one blue-haired man standing in the center of the crater. Bahamut looked at his handiwork, somewhat amazed at all the destruction he had caused.

'That wasn't even all out, and that still felt like overkill.' Bahamut thought. He scratched his head, and realized that a lot of the dust and rocks got stuck in his hair. He started picking it out absent-mindedly, before seeing the flying ships above.

'Hey what' s that symbol?...Oh is that Alvarez!?...wait, there's no longer any need to stress, anyone who even posed a minor threat to me is dead now. August, Irene, Larcade, Bloodman, God Serena…okay Maybe not God Serena. Seriously, why didn't they all just blitz Fairy Tail, all the Spriggan twelve plus Zeref Alive (and not that histoire Neinhart bullshit) and all fighting together? God Fiore would've been decimated.'

The ships sailed overhead, Bahamut crossed his arms. As he came into view, Lucy noticed the change first.

"Uh, guys, why is his arm back!?" Lucy yelled.

"His arm is back!?" Natsu exclaimed before running past Lucy and looking down. Sure enough, the dragon kings' arm had returned.

That's around the moment when the ground beneath Bahamut's feet began to shake horribly. The dragon king looked confused, and decided to leap to the Northern edge of the crater right as a massive explosion of darkness broke through the crater, and enveloped all of it. Blowing away all the Alvarez ships, blowing off all the wizards in the ships, and blowing away all the rebellious mages at the edge of the crater. Bahamut was shocked at the level of power he felt, it was more power then even he could've produced at Tenrou Island.

That thought excited him.

The shadowy explosion morphed into the sky, turning the sky inky black. The world was shrouded in darkness, and a red light flew up from the center of the craters capital. Bahamut was confused.

'What...is...that?' He thought. The light began to morph, and two lights appeared next to one another. It was all Bahamut could see, sense or hear. A whirring sound found its way into his ears, the smell of rotten meat entered his nose.

"T-the time…is approaching...you...yess...you can do it…you can revive me."

"Why would I want to do that?"

"Why? Why he asks, why? Because, it's what you've always wanted to do, ever since that dragon killed your family."

"Always?...Acnologia?...You...no...you're-"

"Ah! He gets it! But also doesn't! I am not him, but also am! I am one third of him! I am different, I… have had enough of talking."

The eyes of the creature intensified, and all of a sudden, the sun peered down, but the world seemed different. Rocks floated upwards, and the air gained a strange odour. Bahamut flinched slightly, as a spark traveled through his body. A spark of power he never felt before. Lightning crackled through the air, black lightning with a white outline. Clouds circled around them like the eye of a storm, and the ground cracked beneath him. The six red-eyes that came from the mask glowed through the eye-slots came into full view, and suddenly they expanded to unbelievable sizes.

"What is this? This power feels unnatural!"

"Ah! All magic is unnatural! ALl magic doesn't come from the heart or soul as so many foolishly chose to believe! NO!It all comes from one, the one magic comes from one source at only one point in time. The power of one, made into the power of all...as if someone using that borrowed power could ever understand what I speak of!"

"What? What the hell are you on about? Woah, that was a really Barry thing to say right there. Odd. I suppose I use both mannerisms now since I'm both of them merged together."

"Are you talking to yourself? He talks to himself? You arrogant bastard!" The mask proclaimed. Its eyes flashed, and the sky grew bright. Bahamut looked up lazily, and then he squinted his eyes, before they widened.

"Woah. Is that a meteor? Geez, what is it with people throwing meteors at me all the time? They have never worked, and they never shall."

"Have they ever thrown over a thousand around you at the same time!?"

"Wait, what?" Bahamut asked. His eyes widened immensely in surprise as he saw the clouds break apart, the sky looked like it was on fire, and every meteor was the size of a mountain. Bahamut looked around, and saw that all the Fairy Tail mages from rebellious were still at the edge of the crater.

Touka looked up at the sky, and her mouth hung agape.

"What...what is this treachery? No magic is this powerful! This evil magic overshadows even Acnologia and Zeref put together! This is too much power for one being to possess! We're all my efforts, for naught!?" Touka exclaimed. She was panicking, and as such, the ones under her control were uncertain of what they could do.

"Would Fairy sphere work!?" Laxus yelled.

"Only with enough power! However, Lucy is not here to cast it! She's the only one left that even knows how after Mavis died!" Jellal exclaimed.

"INCOM-"

The First meteor hit the ground behind Fairy Tail, Bahamut didn't even realize one was already that close to the ground before it hit.

The explosion sent every member in Fairy Tail flying sky-high, and the shockwave it produced was so powerful it tore trees straight out of the ground and covered everything in a cloud of ashes. Bahamut was in slight shock, as the ashes hit him, he didn't even blink. All he could think about, was how he failed.

'How many people did I just let die?' He thought. Then the next meteor hit, and the next, and soon Bahamut couldn't even see anything. His vision was covered in flames, flames hot enough to even disturb him slightly.

'There's one thing I remember from the show, and from experience…you can't ever beat a slayer with his own element.' Bahamut thought. His element was magic itself. So in theory, there wasn't anything he couldn't devour.

So, he attempted to suck in the flames around him.

It took but a moment of remembering how to devour magic.

But he got it.

The flames began to swirl into his mouth, alongside the ashes, the rocks and even the dirt kicked up off the ground. All of it swirled into his Jaw, and he felt raw energy coarse through his body. The energy built up, and soon, he had devoured the cloud of ash and fire that had enveloped everything around him.

He wished he hadn't.

There laid nothing but destruction around him. Bodies laid everywhere, some reduced to nothing more than bones. He didn't even recognize the bodies, the sky was still covered in a cloud of ash, as it was too high up for him to devour. It was a complete wasteland, filled with craters all over the horizon.

It looked like hell had come to Earth, and all that remained was him, and the being that did it.

Or so he thought.

He heard a pained roar, and looked to his right, and was stunned to see an injured Ignia flying over before crashing into the ground next to him. He reverted back to his human form, and seemed to have a busted arm, and was covered in bruises.

"Damn it! You! I don't know How you got better, but you better spill what you know RIGHT NOW-" Ignia roared before going into a coughing fit. If Bahamut had to guess, a few of the meteors probably hit him directly. Ignia probably could've taken on one or two, but the sky had been filled with them. Not even a god dragon could withstand that many giant meteors. Ignia sucked up some nearby fire, and some of his energy was regained, his natural heat-resistance was probably another reason he survived. He looked up at the mask-wearing demon, and his eyes widened.

"What on Earthland?...This power feels unnatural."

"ALL power is natural yet unnatural! I am stunned to see you alive. Impressive! Seems the snake evolved into something far greater than I anticipated! As for the blue one, I knew he would live, I just wanted to see the despair on his face when I tell him I just leveled ALL OF ISHGAR!"

Bahamut and Ignia both froze.

"What the hell are you babbling on about!? As impressive as that was, the meteors only spanned the size of this one nation!" Ignia hollered out.

"You fail to recall that not everyone is as durable as the two of you are! Those shockwaves the meteors caused will be felt worldwide! Seven got the worst of it, but Ishgar will be covered in a cloud of ash and many towns and buildings will be toppled due to the effects of my attack!" The mask explained.

"What the hell are you!? Why do all this!?" Bahamut shouted. How could a mask produce this much power? No way he was actually some god.

"I am MOARTE! One third of the first sealed god, LORD ANKHSERAM! NOW HAND OVER THE POWER OF TIME ITSELF TO ME!" Moarte exclaimed. It's eyes flashed red, and the ground began to shake. Bahamut and Ignia both looked concerned, especially when they both felt multiple wellspring of magic appear around them underground.

"Jump back!" Ignia hollered. Both of them leapt sky-high right as a massive, stone covered dark-energy hand burst out from the ground. It rose to its feet, and it's head nearly touched the clouds above. It resembled a giant made of dark matter and stone, and it's roar blew some of the clouds away.

Then another popped up.

Then another.

Soon, three monsters were up. Each one was about 18 km in height. Every step they took literally caused an earthquake, and it caused a massive crater to form underneath their massive stone feet. As the two Dragons fell back to the land, one of the giants looked over at Bahamut, and it began swinging its hand down onto him. Bahamut prepared a roar, but considering the hand was over half a kilometer wide he wasn't feeling as confident as normal.

He released his roar, and thankfully, his attack tore through the hand of the monster and sent massive pieces of rubble flying everywhere and it also detatched the giants' kilometer sized hand. The giant showed no signs of pain, it just looked at the stump that was now present where its hand used to be.

Ignia shot out his own roar, and his roar melted through one of the hands of the giants. As to be expected, while much smaller, both of them were capable of wiping nations off the map. While much larger than most if not all mountains, these giants were no exception.

"hehe these giants pose no threat to either of you?...very well the dragons would enjoy fighting something more…familiar?"Moarte asked. The giants vanished after that, and both Bahamut and Ignia didn't know what to expect. The land had been torn asunder, everyone was dead, what could Moarte possibly still have in store for them?

That's when a bright light appeared in front of them, and when the light dimmed, both of them couldn't utter a single word for a solid minute. It was Ignia, who finally broke the silence.

"...father?"

Yeah, I really abandoned this story for a while. Now I gotta figure out where I was going with it all again.
