Chapter 16: Quinton's Stand, Part 2

At Ashley's house, Quinton was resting in Joshua's room. He was laying on a bed.

"Do you think he'll be awake?" Ashley asked.

"He's unconscious, so yeah." Joshua replied.

"Ok… Let's see… (Sees some particles that's surrounding Quinton's left wrist) Huh? Never seen them before…"

"What's going on?"

"Look at his wrist."

Joshua then looked at Quinton's left wrist, seeing the particles surrounding it.

"No… Don't tell me that…" Joshua said. "Ashley, do you know about that?"

"It seemed so. Your friend is a Stand User, but we don't know what his Stand will be like." Ashley said.

"I can't believe it… How did he get that Stand?"

"Me and Katsuma will tell you about how you guys get a Stand when we eat at the restaurant."

"Ok..?"

"Now then, let's leave him be."

A few minutes later, Joshua was outback with Katsuma.

"What are you doing, Katsuma?" Joshua asked.

"This dirt is impossible… I tried to use my Stand, but it's no good." Katsuma replied. "Maybe try your Stand?"

"Let me see…" Joshua said as he brings out Danger Zone.

"ORA!" Danger Zone shouted as it punched the ground.

"Huh… Nothing…" Joshua said.

Ashley then walks out of the house to see Joshua and Katsuma.

"What are you two doing?" Ashley asked.

"There's something in the dirt that I sensed." Katsuma replied. "The problem is that the dirt is Indestructible."

"Really? Let me see if I can destroy it!" Ashley said as she brings out As The Dragonfly Flies.

"BUZZAAAAAAAAAAH!' As The Dragonfly Flies shouted as it fastly punched the dirt, but it didn't even destroy the dirt.

"What the hell? Man, you're right, Katsuma…" Ashley said. "Wonder what made that dirt so durable…"

Outside of the yard, a man was walking by. He looked at Joshua, Ashley and Katsuma.

"Hmph…" He said as he continued to walk by.

Back inside the house and in the bedroom, Quinton slowly wakes up.

"Urgh…" He said as he opened his eyes. "Huh? Where am I? (Looks at Lady) Who are you?"

"Just think of me as a friend of Joshua, your best friend." Lady replied.

"Hey! My pal got some more pals to hang with!" Quinton happily said.

"Yep…" Lady replied as she looked down.

"Huh? What's wrong?

"Oh, it's nothing. I'm fine."

"(Takes a look at Lady for a few more seconds) You know, I think you and Joshua look cute together."

Lady then jumped and blushed.

"H-Hey! Don't even THINK about that!" Lady said. "I mean, I do think he's kinda cool for a guy that's the same age as me…"

"Sorry! I was just wondering!" Quinton said. "Besides, how did I end up here? I was walking by that abandoned house, and then I collapsed because of some horrible noise that wasn't even there…"

"(Looks surprised) Um… Maybe I'll let Ashley know about-"

"(Looks at the substance around his wrists) Hey, what's all of this around my wrists?" Quinton asked.

"Huh?"

Lady then looks at the substances around Quinton's wrists.

"Could it be?" Lady said.

"What? What are you talking about-" Quinton said.

Then, one of Quinton's hands has u attached itself from his arm. In between was the same substance that appeared on his wrist.

"GAH! MY HAND!" Quinton shouted. "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!"

"Calm down! Please! I can't do this…" Lady said as she stepped out the room.

"Hey! Where are you going, ma'am?!" Quinton shouted.

While running downstairs, Lady thought to herself.

"I guess I know what's happening…" She said to herself. "Joshua's friend is a Stand User…"
