Dekhiye Mr. Kavin Dermentia ek aisi disease hai jiska permanent koi solution nahi hota... Haa uske affects ko reduce kiya jaa sakta hai... Doctor said to Kavin and Ishyant. They were here for Purvi's check up as her health was deteriorating with every passing day. Kavin was not able to say anything his voice choked in his throat after listening to the doctor. Dushyant kept his hand on Kavin's shoulder.
Dushyant: Par doctor apne to kaha tha ki operation ke baad purvi thik ho sakti hai...
Doctor: Nahi Mr. Dushyant... Purvi ki halat bohot kharab hoti jaa rahi hai.. Kuchh hi dino me wo apni pichhli zindagi puri tarah se bhul jaayegi... Agar usse pehle hum uska operation kar paate hain to ho sakta hai ki hum uski jaan bacha paayein... Nahi to... Doctor sighed kavin looked at him with teary eyes when doctor continued... Is operation ke baad paitient ke mind pe dermentia ka asar kam hoga unka alzhimers khatam ho jaayega jo ki phir age ke saath wapas aayega lekin... Doctor stopped in the middle and then looked at Purvi's reports.
Lekin kya doctor.. Kavin spoke up.
Purvi ki reports ke according is surgery ke successful hone ke chances sirf 5.7 % hain... Is operation ke aur bhi consequenses ho sakte hain... Jaise ho sakta hai ki patient coma me chala jaye ya phir... Ya phir uski maut ho jaaye... Doctor said. They trio felt the ground slipping under their feet. Ishita left the room without saying anything Dushyant looked at her he wanted to be with her. But he also knew his brother needs him more at this instant. Kavin kept staring at Purvi's reports blankly
Kavin... Dushyant tried to speak something but kavin stopped him in the middle.
Dushyant Ishita ke paas jaa... Kavin spoke politely.
Dushyant: Par kavin...
Main thik hun.. Tu uske paas jaa... Main thodi der me aata hun... Kavin said blankly. Dushyant wanted to say something but kept mum as he thought kavin need some space out of this. So he left.
After sometimes Ishyant were sitting in front of Purvi's room. Ishita had kept her head on Dushyant's shoulder he was continuously caressing her head. They didn't have courage to face her just then Kavin arrived there. He saw them sitting there they too saw him but he went inside Purvi's room without saying anything. Ishyant too kept mum.
Kavin entered and saw purvi lying on the bed. Some needles were pierced in her hands. Kavin went near her and sat on the stool near her he caressed her head. She opened her eyes and looked at him he gave a smile she too smiled at him. Purvi tried to sit and Kavin helped her to do so.
Purvi: Kya hua kavin..? Kya bola doctor ne..?
Kya bol sakte hain... Sab thik hai aur operation ke baad tum ek dum thik ho jaogi... Kavin said while squeezing her hands. She knew whatever he was saying was not the whole truth but she chose to keep mum. She knew it was even harder for him. She kept her head on his chest and closed her eyes kavin wrapped his hand around her. His eyes were becoming teary but he controlled them as he didn't want her to see him weak.
Soon they returned to their respective homes. Kavin had decided Purvi to get operated soon.
At night, Kavin made Purvi sleep peacefully after she slept he kept staring at her with his teary eyes.

Days passed and with every passing day Purvi's condition deteriorated. She started forgetting even her own identity sometimes, she started hallucinating and at last she was admitted to Hospital for her further treatment.
Kavin was staring at her through the glass in hospital's room window with teary eyes. Doctor was checking her as she was unconscious from last twenty four hours. Some scenes of one day ago flashes in front of his eyes.
Kavin was on medical store for some medicines of purvi it's been three days since purvi was admitted to this hospital.
Kavin(on call): Ha dushyant nahi sab thik hai... Hmmm.. Wo bhi abhi thik hai... Main purvi ki dawaiyan lekar bas uske paas hi jaa raha hun.. Tumse baad me baat karta hun...
He entered in Purvi's room with the packet of medicines but didn't find Purvi there. He searched for her everywhere. After sometimes doctor and nurses were too searching for Purvi throughout the hospital. Cid team to reached hospital as they got the news of Purvi's missing.
kavin it's ok... jald hi mil jaayegi wo... Dushyant said to kavin who was really about purvi. He just nodded his head and rushed to other direction to find her. At last a nurse came and said that she saw a girl in garden who was just looking like Purvi but before she could reach her she ran to other direction. Kavin and whole cid team rushed in that direction.
They reached and found a girl sitting on the bench holding her head with her both hands. Kavin moved towards her slowly and kept his hand on her shoulder. She turned back and they took a sigh of relief as she was Purvi.
Kon ho tum...? Kavin was about to say something but stopped after listening these words from her. He was stumped and unable to understand how should he react. The whole team was also shocked. They came and tried to talk to her but Purvi started behaving strange and some nurses came to her they gave her sedatives to make her calm. Kavin stood at his place in shock but then he composed himself as he knew someday it was to be happen. She was kept in a separate ward so that her hallucinations could be treated solely.

Tears came to his cheeks but he wiped them hurriedlly. He knew he had to be strong so that he could console her. He kept staring at her unconscious figure. thought that glass window.

He slept there keeping his head beside her head and holding her hands in his.
Next morning, Kavin opened his eyes as sunlight fell on his face. He looked around then left to call the doctor as this was the day when her operation was to be done and doctor had asked him to call him in the morning. But when he returned with the doctor he was shocked with what ever he saw there. Purvi had locked herself in the room and nurses were trying to make her open the door. Kavin rushed to her room.
Nurses: Mam.. Please open the door.
Kavin/Doctor: Nurse kya hua..?
Nurse: Sir wo pata nahi.. Main to unhe dawaiyon ka dose lagane gayi thi par achanak se unhe hosh aa gaya aur wo kuchh bol rahi thi... Haan wo kal ki incidents ke baare me bol rahi thi... I think unhe sab yaad aaya hoga...
Kavin peeped inside the room with the glass in the door and then moved towards window.
Purvi... Purvi please darwaza kholo... Meri baat suno please... Kavin spoke up. Purvi was not looking towards him she kept her hands on her ears in order to avoid his words.
Tum chale jao yahan se kavin.. Please... Leave me alone... Purvi yelled from the room.
Ek kaam karo is kamre ki masterkey leke aao... Doctor instructed the murse and the murse ran towards normal wards for keys. where kavin kept trying to make her open the door but she was not at all ready to listen anything.
Purvi suno meri baat.. Tum itni aasani se haar nahi maan sakti purvi... Yaad hai maine kaha tha ki main apni kismat badal dunga par tumhe khud se dur nahi jaane dunga par uske liye mujhe tumhara saath chahiye purvi... Mujhe akela mat chhodo Purvi please.. Mujhe tumhari zarurat hai... Purvi removed her hands as he said these lines she turned to look at him. He was standing near window his eyes were teary she could feel he was in pain. But she was the reason and she shouldn't have been in his life. Tears rolled down her cheeks. She moved towards him and he came near the door and continued... Darwaaza kholo purvi... Tum aise haar nahi maan sakti tumhe ladna hoga.. mere liye... He said and kept his hand on the rectangular glass of door she too kept her hand on his. They both looked at their hands. Tears were continuously flowing through purvi's eyes but kavin managed to keep them back.
Main mar sakti hun.. Par tumhe bhoolna manzoor nahi mujhe... Purvi said while crying. Kavin heart pinched but he couldn't help it. She hinged her forehead on the glass and so did Kavin.
Doctors and nurses were happy that at least purvi was calm now. Soon the murse came with masterkey. Kavin took the master key and slowly opened the door Purvi hugged him tightly as soon as he entered the room. He too hugged her and let her shed her tears on his shirt.
Kavin main kya karun... Mujhe kuchh samajh nahi aa raha... Main jaanti hun tumhe kal bohot bura laga hoga.. Par kavin... kavin Maine jaan bujhkar nahi kiya kuchh... Purvi tried to explain herself when kavin kept his finger on her lips.
Ssssshhhhhh... Kuchh nahi hua... Main hoon na tumhare saath... Stop crying... Kavin tried to console her. He brought her to her bed and soon she was given sedatives to calm her down.
After some hours all team was present there as Purvi's operation was going on. They were waiting for the doctor outside the OT. Kavin was staring blankly at the gate of OT. The doctor came out of the room after four hours. Everyone rushed to him
Kavin: Doctor Purvi kaisi hai...
Doctor just lowered his head it increased their tension.
Ishita: Doctor please bataiye na.. How's she..?
Doctor: Dekhiye hum kuchh keh nahi sakte... 24 hrs ka wqt hai humare paas agar tab tak unhe hosh aa jata hai to operation successful raha nahi to..
Nahi to.. Kavin asked while looking into his eyes directly
Nahi to.. I'm sorry hum unhe nahi bacha paayenge... Doctor said that broke him from inside. He felt as all his hopes were shattering in that moment. He felt himself loosing the battle to his destiny. Ishita started crying Shreya and Tarika were comforting her Dushyant tried to pacify kavin but he wasn't at all reacting anyhting. Kavin moved out of the place without saying anything and Dushyant followed him. The day went by in this tension.
Next morning. Everyone was waiting for doctor's reply Purvi had shown some response but she hadn't gained her conscious. She had suddenly started sinking. Everyone was worried for her but kavin's face showed no emotion at all. Sometimes later Doctor came out of her room and everyone rushed towards him except Kavin.
Doctor Purvi kaisi hai... Ishita asked...
Doctor: Officers... I'm really very sorry...
Everyone was shocked with whatever the doctor just said there eyes became teary. Pankaj and Fredricks started crying Dushyant was trying to compose Ishita who had lost her senses they called doctor for her. Everyone was shattered with whatever happened. But Kavin said nothing he kept sitting on the bench outside her room. He took a deep sigh a drop of tear fell from his eyes as he closed them and rested his head on the wall behind the bench.
