The gang will temporarily return to Hollow Bastion to temporarily revisit an Animal Crossing world. Also I will do a Gummi Ship battle in this chapter since this will be a pretty short chapter. I will do at least two Gummi Ship battles this fanfic.
Chapter 11: Of Books and Heartless
Sora and the gang returns to Hollow Bastion to revisit Mumbo's House.
Sora: I wonder what's up here.
Dizzy: Maybe Mumbo want us to have party.
They saw a door in Mumbo's House open. Suddenly, several Heartless Soldiers came running out.
Plucky: Uh-oh!
The Heartless disappeared.
Plucky: What happened to Mumbo?
Sora: I don't know, but let's go inside!
They ran inside to see Mumbo and Wumba on the ground. They got up the floor and dusted themselves off.
Dizzy: Are Mumbo and Wumba OK?
Mumbo: We fine. Boy took time though.
Dizzy: Was it Mumbo and Wumba who summon us?
Wumba: Yes, but it seems we use to much power to do so. And those Heartless...
Sora: Skip the details. So what's up?
Mumbo: We manage to find this in zero district.
A book magically appears in Mumbo's hand. Mumbo gave the book to Plucky. It shows Sora in his old clothes with some animal people. The book is titled Animal Crossing.
Plucky: What's this? A storybook?
Sora: Yes! It's Ai's storybook. It's a book where I helped Ai and her friends.
Wumba: We know boy is good friends with girl and her animal friends. That why we summon you.
Mumbo: When we did, we were attacked by Heartless. We fought back with powerful magic attack, but then we fear we damage book, so we...
Wumba: Leon and others need to hear this too. We better go find them. Be back in jiffy.
The two shamans walked outside. Sora and Plucky looked at each other.
Sora: I wonder how Ai and the others are doing?
Plucky: Wanna go check it out?
Sora: Yeah! Sounds like a plan.
Plucky opens the book and held it in front of Sora.
Dizzy: Sora!
Sora: Cover for me, OK?
Dizzy: OK!
A light came out of the book and it sucks Sora in. Sora slowly descends down on the book. He returns to the Animal Village.
Sora: I wonder if Ai is home.
World: Animal Village
Sora went to a house, which has a girl sitting on a rocking chair. The girl has red hair with two pigtails and wears a pink dress with white flowers all over it. She is none other than Ai. She appears to be thinking. Sora walks up to her, making her gasp in surprise.
Ai: Sora! You came back! I missed you!
Sora: Hey, Ai! How you doing? Have you been playing with your friends alot?
Ai: Oh yes. Can I ask you a favor?
Sora: Sure. What is it?
Ai: I'm about to go to the beach with my friends. Wanna come along with me, Sora?
Sora: Sure. I'll join you.
Ai about to stand up when suddenly, she froze.
Sora: What's going on?
Sora walks up to her and was about to touch her, but then got blown away and thrown out of the book. He lands on the floor back in Mumbo's House. The book closed on him. He then hears a voice of Plucky.
Plucky: Sora! Hurry up!
Sora turns to the door outside.
Sora: Plucky?
He stood up and ran outside to see Plucky and Dizzy fighting a bunch of Shadows.
Dizzy: Did Sora bring book?
Sora turns back to the house to see Soldiers stealing the book.
Sora: Hey!
Sora ran after the Heartless.
Plucky: Give that back!
Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy finished off the Heartless and got the book back. The book's front cover was damaged however.
Sora: Do you think it's OK?
Dizzy: Maybe Sora should go back to make sure Ai is OK.
Plucky: What about Mumbo and Wumba?
Dizzy: Dizzy could explain what happen.
Sora: Great!
Sora hands the book to Plucky. Plucky turns to Dizzy, who nods. He then opens the book to Sora. The light swallows Sora in and he returns to the book. He looks around to notice that everything went missing, except for one house. He went back to the house to notice Ai on her rocking chair, thinking again. He went up to her.
Sora: I'm so glad you're OK, Ai.
Ai: I'm glad to see you too. But you see, I was about to go to the beach. Perhaps we could visit a little later...Someone-I-don't-know.
Sora: What?
Ai stood up and starts walking.
Sora: How's Rosie and the others doing?
Ai: I don't think I know anyone by that name. Now where was I? Oh yeah. I was about to head to the beach.
She starts running off.
Sora: Ai? Hey, Ai?
She disappears from sight.
Sora: Something weird is happening here. Maybe I should go back and ask Mumbo and Wumba about this.
Sora left Animal Village and returns back to Mumbo's House. He found Mumbo and Wumba talking to Plucky and Dizzy. The two shamans turned to see Sora return from the book.
Mumbo: Boy couldn't wait for Mumbo and Wumba to return?
Sora: Sorry about that.
Wumba: How are girl and others?
Sora: Well...Ai seems to have forgotten about me and her other friends.
Plucky and Dizzy gasped in horror.
Mumbo: Mumbo was afraid of that.
Mumbo and Wumba walks over to the book, opens it, and found that some pages were missing.
Mumbo: It must have something to do those pages that Heartless stole.
Wumba: Boy has to collect torn pages and restore book to normal.
Mumbo closed the book and turns to the trio.
Mumbo: Book is one of world's most treasured belongings. Mumbo was gonna tell Leon I found it, but maybe we should keep it secret for now.
Sora, Plucky, & Dizzy: We will!
Mumbo and Wumba walks up to the trio.
Wumba: Before boy leave, Wumba has something for you.
Wumba gave Sora a pendant.
Sora: What's this?
Mumbo: This call warriors from other worlds to help you. In other words, if boy use it, warriors will come out and give boy a hand. Think of it like Summon.
Dizzy: Oh like Team Go-Getters and Hiei last time?
Wumba: That right. There four pendants out there. Find them and more warriors will help. Now good luck. Your friends are waiting.
Sora: Thank you, Mumbo and Wumba. We were worried about Ai. So we'll be back, once we've found those missing pages. Let's go, guys!
Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy left the house. Sora looks at the pendant. It's called the Samurai Charm.
Sora: Guys, why don't we check to see who's in this pendant.
Plucky: Great idea! Let's check it out!
Sora uses the pendant and out came three cats wearing ninja outfits. One cat is a light brown cat wearing white helmet and armor. One cat is a dark brown cat wearing blue helmet and armor. The last cat is a female cream colored cat wearing red helmet and armor.
Cat 1: Where are we? We were about to fight The Big Cheese and his Ninja Crow Clan.
The three cats looked at Sora and the gang.
Cat 2: Who are you?
Sora: Hi there. I'm Sora.
Plucky: I'm Plucky Duck.
Dizzy: And me Dizzy Devil.
Sora looks at Plucky weird.
Sora: You're not gonna make some condescending remarks this time?
Plucky: Why should I? Last time I made fun of Summons, I nearly got killed.
Sora: You've got a good point there.
Cat 1: Well, anyway, nice to meet you, Sora. My name is Speedy Cerviche.
Cat 2: My name is Guido Anchovy. I'm a lady's man.
Cat 3: And my name is Polly Esther.
Speedy, Guido, & Polly: We are the Samurai Pizza Cats.
Plucky realized something.
Plucky: Is it me, or did their show came out the same year Tiny Toons came out?
Sora: Well, anyway, nice to meet you, Samurai Pizza Cats. Can you guys fight?
Speedy: Of course we can fight. Let's show them some of our skills.
All three cats can throw shurikens around the area. Speedy throws some fireballs, which accidently hits Plucky. Guido throws his umbrella like a boomerang, also accidently hitting Plucky. Polly throws an energy boomerang, also accidently hitting Plucky.
Plucky: OWW! Watch where you're throwing your weapons!
Polly: Sorry, Plucky.
Sora: That's pretty impressive, you three.
Guido: Wait until you see our ultimate attacks.
Sora: Really? What are they?
Speedy: We like to show you, but we're running outta time. See you later, Sora.
The Samurai Pizza Cats returned back to the pendant. Sora and the gang returns to the Gummi Ship.
Sora: OK, Sweetie. Where are we going next?
Sweetie: We were gonna head to a new world southeast of the Demon World and Lunar Tokyo.
Plucky: Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!
Sneezer: Yes, sir! Preparing to depart!
The Gummi Ship flew into space and flew past the Demon World and Lunar Tokyo. They first went through Phantom Storm, where they got attacked by a pirate ship. The pirate ship looks like a typical galleon, but in space. It has a metal jaw underneath the front of the ship, two wheels on the sides of it, and a sail that has a Heartless symbol on it.
Sora: Is that a Heartless pirate ship?
Plucky: It sure looks like it. It has the Heartless symbol.
Sora: Well, then we better destroy it!
Sweetie: Prepare to attack the Heartless ship!
Sneezer: Yes, Mam! Preparing to attack!
The Gummi Ship first shot off the left wheel of the ship, taking it off. They also took out the cannons on the left side and the back of the ship. They then focus on the big cannons on top of the ship and destroyed them. They then focus on the right wheel of the ship and destroyed it too. After taking out the wheels and cannons, they started attacking the front of the ship. The front jaw opened, revealing a white face with sharp teeth and yellow eyes. They destroyed the front of the ship, making it explode. The Gummi Ship finally made it's way through Phantom Storm.
Sora: We did it!
The Gummi Ship then arrives on it's destination. The world shows a big stadium surrounded by three smaller stadiums. There's also some kind of warped space right next to the stadium.
Sora: This world looks familiar.
Sweetie: It's the Pokemon World, remember?
Sora: That's right! I remember this world.
Dizzy: It world where we won four championships.
Sweetie: But this stadium is different. It's called the Lily of the Valley Conference. It's the Pokemon League of the Sinnoh Region.
Plucky: But there's some kind of warped space next to the stadium.
Sweetie: I believe it's called the Distortion World. It's a space where space and time does not exist. I heard a really terrible Legendary Pokemon lives there.
Plucky:(Whimpers)I hope it's not another giant Legendary Pokemon that eats people.
Sora: Relax, Plucky. We beat four Legendary Pokemon before. We can beat one from that kind of world. Let's depart there!
Plucky: No way! I'm not gonna enter some weird alternate dimension where there's an evil Legendary Pokemon.
Sneezer: Guys, I think I'm gonna sneeze.
Plucky: Oh no! Not again!
Sneezer: Ah...ah...ah...
Sweetie: Sneezer, NO! Don't sneeze on the controls again!
Sneezer: ACHOO!
Sneezer sneezes on the controls, doing some damage to it, and making the ship spin towards the Distortion World.
Sora: Hold on, everybody! Were going for a ride!
