Chapter 14 Into the forge
Metal Dragon, fire Forge
Sin heard the hiss of the door sealing shut behind them and with a few seconds in the forge. Sin was already filing the heat of the forge and it was taking it toll on him, it was super hot.
Also he could smell the musk of sulpha and other gases in the air as they walk down a pathway. Which took them deeper into the forge as he and Cynder walk behind the Metal Guardian. As Tungsten was talking about what happen in the forge while she show them were they would make different items from the molten metal. Dragons usually didn't use armour but from past history it helps to have some made for Dragons. When dealing with the more stronger part of the Dark army.
After all Dragon scales were not invincible, as with the right type of weapon and force. The said weapon could easily crack the scales of a Dragon or it could fit between the tiny gaps of the scales to do nasty damage to the said Dragon. Also the key to Dragon armour was to make it strong but also light to so it didn't affect the flight of a Dragon.
Sin did wonder if the Dragons went down the same way, Humans did. An if they went with same style of weapons and armour Mankind did or did they go in a different way. From the way this world was at the moment, it reminds him of the end of the middle ages. So he guess their armour and weapons would be around that time of armour and sword craft of Humans.
Well he find out soon anyway! Sin then shrug his head as he turn to look at his mate and smile, as Cynder nuzzle his arm. While they carried on walking they pass a few melting pots as the molten metal made popping and hissing sounds. As the Dragons working on them bowed to the Guardian as well as Cynder. While they gave curious looks at Sin , while whispering to each other. As they were trying to work out what he was and why he was doing here? Some of the Dragons had seen Sin mating mark and adoption mark as they gasp wondering who he was mated/adopted too.
As Sin and Cynder kept walking they saw no more moles, as it would be too dangerous for them to work. The Dragons and Dragoness working in the forge were a mixture of Fire and Metal Dragons. Since they were the only Dragons who could deal with the extreme heat and humility of the forge.
Tungsten was showing no sign of tiredness from the heat, compare to Cynder and Sin. Who were struggling from the heat. As further they went into the earth the hotter it got.
Tungsten then turn to look at them only to stop, as did Sin and Cynder as they panted while looking at her.
" Sorry I forgot about using the spell to help you two while you're in here. One sec!" Tungsten said to them as she apologies to them.
As the couple look at her with interests, as they watch the Metal Guardian eyes close for a second. Before reopening them as her paws touch them. As a zap of silver light went into Cynder and Sin, taking them both by surprise.
Sin gasp as the spell took affect as it felt like someone had turn on his or her Air conditioner, as he felt a nice ice-cold breeze of wind. Sin also he heard Cynder moaned in delight as she was happy to fill the chill.
" Sorry I forgot that you two would struggle with the heat in here. That was an air metal spell, so to keep you chilled. The spell fans the warm air around you to make it cool for person I cast it on." Tungsten explained to them both.
"Kind of like a Air conditioner machine." Sin said to her, only to get a very confused looks from both of the Dragoness.
"What a Air conditioner machine? I never heard of that before." Tungsten asked Sin in a confused tone to him.
"Oh sorry I forgot about that! That in you're world you don't have things like us Humans do. Well it helps to keep us cool from the heat of a hot day." Sin replied to her, as he saw Cynder tilt her head in curiously at her mate.
Sin then explained how an Air conditioner, worked and Cynder tried her best to keep up, but got confused over bits of it. But Tungsten nod her head in awe at what this Human thing, would do the same thing as her spell did. Once Sin finished speaking to her, he then turn around to see Tungsten eyes sparkling before she started to speak to him.
" What a amazing invention your kind has, plus I think we are able to make a version of our own. An it will come in handy for many homes in Warfang! I would love to hear more of you kind creations Sin." Tungsten said in happy tone to him.
" Sure Guardian Tungsten." Sin said with a smile to the Metal Guardian.
"Just Tungsten will be fine Sin , just like you Mum or Nightshade I don't care much for titles." Tungsten said with a chuckle to him.
"Sure Tungsten." Sin replied to her with a smile.
"Anyway shall we head to my office, so we can talk about why I brought you here Sin!" Tungsten said to him.
Sin just nod his head as did Cynder ,as the fallow the silver Dragoness further down the forge ,as Cynder sigh enjoying the cool air that protected her from the heat. As she watched other Dragons poring the molten metals into many casting molds of a mixture of things from Swords, Armour, Shields to even Tables and many over house items.
It was like a mini factory in here, as the sound of the Dragons using their hammers or even their tails to beat and mold the items into shape once they had cool down from being molten hot.
Cynder then turn her attention back to Tungsten and Sin, as she listens to Sin explaining the many items Humans had made over the years. Some items he describe had confused the Dragons on how these strange items would even look like as well as work. While Sin was still getting curiosity looks from the Metal Dragons.
Soon they had reached and enter Tungsten office, which was vey simple with a metal table and a metal chair. With a few nick knacks on her table and some pics of they guess of Tungsten hatchlings or Grand hatchlings.
" So Sin your Mother said to me, you have no job at the moment and said you wanted to earn you money unlike the hatchling of some nobles! So with the ideas you have told me about I was thinking of offering you a job of chief design. So you would work along side me to come up with new items. Maybe taking some ideas from your own kind to help bring them into our world.
I will give you a good salary, which is on par with advance workers in my forge get. You will also get the chance to get bonus as well to work on some armour for yourself! Since that also what you Mum had ask me to make for you. But I think it would be better for you to come up with a idea for yourself." Tungsten said to Sin, as Cynder wrap her tail around her mate while Sin look surprised.
" Wow I don't know what to say, but yes I would love to do it." Sin said in a shocked tone.
" Good then and I see your happy too Cynder! Well we better get this paper work sorted out shall we." Tungsten said to them with a smile.
" Your right Tungsten, I am proud of my mate." Cynder replied to her, as she licked Sin neck.
Sin smiled as rub her neck, while Cynder coo deeply from his touch as the Metal Guardian smiled at the young couple. As she then move the papers over to Sin so he could sign them, while listening to Sin idea for his armour that did take her interests on how it would work.
After that was all done, it was close to the end of the day, as Tungsten lead them back out the forge and whishing them well. Not before telling Sin his shift time, as he gave her a thank you as Sin and Cynder then headed back home.
Shadow/Poison Guardian Mansion
It didn't take Sin and Cynder long to get home, as they were about to go in to the Mansion. Cynder then saw her Mum stretching her wings, as Nightshade smiled seeing her daughter and Drake in law.
" Oh! You're back from the forge then since you smell like you come from it. Cynder I was just going to hunt for our food tonight, so can you come with me and Sin you Mum wanted to see you in her room.
" Sure Mum, I see you in a bit my love im sure I get something tasty for us." Cynder replied to her Mum, as well as speaking to her mate.
" Sure darling I see you and your Mum in a bit then." Sin replied to her.
Cynder smiled as she then nuzzle him before taking flight as Sin watch Cynder and Nightshade head off to hunt.
Sin waved to them before heading into their home as he went upstairs to his Mum room. Once he had reached her room he knock on the door hearing a enter from his Mum, as Sin then enter the room.
Ivory yawned as she turns her head to smile at her Son, as she was relaxing on her Queen size bed. Her room remained Sin of a forest with the many wooden tables and plants to play off with the design of the room. The room also gave of many different pleasant smells, as Sin stood by the bed looking at his Mum. Who was playfully rubbing her slit at him causing Sin to blush before she laughs in a warming tone.
" You're too easy Son, I just wanted to spend time with you my Son. Come climb onto my stomach Son and tell me about you day." Ivory said softly with a smile after she finished talking to her Son.
"Sure Mum." Sin replied to her with a smile of his own.
As Sin climbed on to her large bed that was built for Dragon her size, he heard the sound of the bed squeak as he climbed on to his Mum stomach .Sin then wraps his arm around his Dragon mother. While Ivory wrap her wings around him to cuddle her Son.
As the Mother and Son enjoy their moment together before Sin start to tell her what had happen today. As Ivory look on and listen, as a proud mother would while grooming her son as well.
