Takagi : ( walking towards the railway station at evening ) I hope he likes what I got him...
Mano : of course he will you don't have to worry...
Takagi : I hope so...
Mano : but still how did his brother arrange a trip to the mountains this fast
Takagi : ( as expected of shuichi-san, but really is there nothing he can't do... He's almost like an overpowered protagonist)
They reach the railway station to find nishikata and nakai
Nishikata : no.
Nakai : why not?
Nishikata : NO.
Nakai : aw... That's too bad
Nishikata : look they're here, where the heck were you guys?
Takagi : just doing a little something, what about you?
Mano : what were you two arguing about?
Nishikata : nothing really...
Nakai : actually, it was-

Takagi : uh... Did something happen?

Nishikata : (blatantly ignoring him) the train is here lets go

Nishikata : good ( carries his bag and head into the station with everyone)
Nishikata and others soon reach their seats and start talking about the mountain amusement park trip
Nishikata : it's gonna be so much fun!
Nakai : how did you even manage to get these tickets so fast...
Nishikata : it seems there is nothing he can't do...
Takagi : hey nishikata? Why did you carry so much stuff?
Mano : yeah we all have small bag but you have a full on suitcase...
Nishikata : oh yeah about that actually suika's friend is also celebrating her wedding in a nearby hotel so after the wedding is over we all will just enjoy for a while...
Takagi : so you'll stay here...
Nishikata : yeah I'll stay here
A few hours in the train pass until it's almost lunch time
Nakai : man... I'm hungry
Nishikata : took the words right out of my mouth
Mano : um... I made some sandwiches would you like these.
Nishikata : you're a life saver (he says as he munches on sandwiches)
Takagi : I made some too! ( she pulls out a large lunch box)
Nishikata : don't mind if I do...
Mano : this is delicious Takagi-chan! I love it!

Nakai : me three!
Takagi : ( blushes) thanks everyone
Nishikata : oh look outside we can can see mt fuji from here!
Takagi : let me see!
They all have a great time and after a while
Nishikata : are you sure?

Nishikata : well then uh... Mano-san, can you switch seats with me?
Mano : sure ( I get to sit next to nakai) but why though?
Nishikata : just because ( he quickly switches places with her sitings next to takagi)
Takagi : ( whispers) did you want to sit next to me so badly.
Nishikata : of course not (flustered)
Nakai : what are you two whispering about? Lets begin! ( they both start arm wrestling each other)
Takagi : that's so typical of you ( a device idea pops into her head) (she whispers into his ear) if you win this round I'll kiss you, but if you lose you have to kiss me ok.
Nishikata : (... What) ( he feels himself losing his grip and he feels his hand slowly turn to the right) that's playing dirty!
Takagi : that's how I play ( smirk)
Nishikata : ( frustrated he locks his arm in the position) ( well if I win I get a kiss... I wouldn't dislike that but, that's like asking to be teased "you wanted a kiss from me so bad"... If I lose... That isn't any better goddamit)
Nakai : what's up with you? You good?
Nishikata : I'm fine! ( what would shuichi do in this case... I know) ( he keeps his arm in the deadlock and tries to make it a tie) ( I can easily overpower nakai but, I guess this is the only way)
After 3 minutes of holding off
Nakai : ( why did do it) its a tie!
Nishikata : (exhausted) well I guess that's it
Takagi : ( chuckled at nishikata) your reactions were so good I even took a pic( shows a picture of nishikata looking like a tomato, a baby and a 50 year old man at the same time) I'm gonna cherish this one (laughs)
Nishikata : (you... That was your plan I should have expected it) Im just gonna go wash my face ( he starts walking to the basin)
Takagi : wait I'm coming too ( the plan isn't even complete) ( she also walks to the basin)
The basin is at the far side of the train away from the the seats where nakai and Mano were seated
Takagi : (while nishikata is washing his hands she swiftly leans in and give him a kiss on his cheek) there!
Nishikata : ( so shocked that he couldn't even speak) what?
Takagi : ( smiles while blushing ) it was a tie so I kiss you and you kiss me!
Nishikata : ( still in a daze) huh?! ( I wasnt fucking expecting that... This is the worst possible scenario...damn you takagi)
Takagi : I've done my part ( teasing smirk) it's your turn now...
Nishikata : ( freaking out) what if someone sees us?!
Takagi : we're pretty far away from both of them...
Nishikata : ( protesting) but still we can't just you know...
Takagi : It will be a secret I promise I won't tell anyone...( he can't come to a decision, I'll just tease him some more settle for grape juice every day forever)
Nishikata : (I can't do it... I'm not that strong... How does she have so much courage) ( he lifts his eyes and shoots a look of sadness, and admiration at her) I... I... No... I... Ye.. ( I can't even speak... I feel so pathetic... compared to her)
Takagi : nishikata? ( what's that reaction, I can't read him anymore...) ( she takes one look at him but he can't help but feel pity on him)
Nishikata : ( even though I know I love her I still can't... I'm so pathetic...) ( feeling worthlessness he falls down on the floor and passes out)
Takagi : nishikata! ( she so screams loudly nakai rushes over and carries nishikata to the seat)
Nakai : Mano! Quick turn the seat into a bed
Mano : ( quickly bends all the seats to make 4 beds and places nishikata on one of the beds)
Man: ( he crawls out from the seats next to theirs) whats all this ruckus about? What are you all- what happen to him ( he walks towards nishikata)
Takagi : he just collapsed...
Man : move aside kids I'm a doctor lemme check him ( he sprawls over to nishikata and starts check)
Takagi : ( silently prays to god) ( I pushed him too far didn't I... I didn't wanna hurt him but still... Its my fault... My fault) will he be ok? ( she asked weakly)
Man: he will be just fine, looks like it was because of stress or maybe emotional overexertion ( hands takagi some tablets) give him these when he wakes up and tell him to eat sweet things to maintain energy
Takagi : thank you sir
Man: no problems you kids should also sleep now too
Takagi : yeah thanks again
All of them start to go to sleep but takagi can't sleep, she still feels guilty about making nishikata pass out, she wake up and head over to nishikata's bed and places his head in her lap
Takagi : ( starts crying silently) ( why did I do it... I hurt him so much... Yesterday, today... I even pushed him to the point he got mad at me and today I Continue to hurt him) I'm sorry nishikata...
Nishikata : ( wakes up slowly and feels himself on takagi) ( where... Am I?)
Takagi : I'm such an idiot... ( tears roll down her cheeks which have gone red) I can't do anything right anymore... I'm worthless
Nishikata : ( quickly puts all the dots together) (I must have passed out...
... She is crying? For me?) ( he opens his eyes)
Takagi : (emotions get the better of her she just cries uncontrollably) I'm so sorry... I'll never bother you again... I don't deserve you...
Nishikata : ( she... No... I won't let this happen... This is not what I want)( he felt something build up inside him that he couldn't describe) No... I don't want that...
Takagi : ( startled) nishikata?
Nishikata : ( he tries to get up and she helps him up) no you're amazing...
Takagi : ( in such a sad state of mind she could not read him at all) what.. No you're just lying to make me feel better... I'll never bother you again... Ever...
Nishikata : I don't want that you're one of the closest people to me ( I don't care if it's embarrassing... This is more important) the only reason I passed out is because I'm a worthless piece of shit
Takagi : no ( still crying) you're not worthless, you're just lying... ( uncontrollable emotions) please I don't wanna hurt you anymore...
Nishikata : I'm not lying ( he insists but takagi stays put so he gets desperate) I have decided the punishment from yesterday, you will never talk like this ever again promise me
Takagi : nishikata...
Nishikata : promise me.
Takagi : (still unsure) but-
Nishikata : I don't wanna hear it you dant have a choice... ( but still takagi looks sad and unsure) ( this will be embarrassing but is this really a matter of concern)... You have 3 seconds to say yes
Takagi : nishikata!
Nishikata : 2...1...0... I didn't wanna do this takagi (he leans in closer) I give you one last chance
Takagi : ( she could not believe it) ( he kissed me... out of his own free will... I feel so happy) yes...( she hugged him tightly) ( she cried for a long time on his shoulder and fell asleep)
Nishikata : ( surprised as the courage which came so quickly disappeared just as quickly) ( what came over me... I mean she calmed down... And she looks so peaceful sleeping) ( he quickly tucked her into her bed)
Takagi : ( smiling while sleeping)
Nishikata : ( stared at her for a few seconds and let out a sigh) ( which one of us is supposed to be the mature one anyway, it looks like we switch roles at lot of times) ( he chuckled softly) good night takagi...

A/N : Well this chapter certainly was a train ride ( I'm so funny lol) especially after that ridiculous writers block, it looks like both nishikata and takagi are getting mentally prepared for a confession with a ticking clock before nishikata will have to leave for who knows how long...
