"The pact remains, and the torn pieces remain apart and whole…." the tom cat said unnaturally, his eyes unfocused. Standing near him, her ears perking up at every word, was the shade.

"Ok. I'll keep your report in mind. Good work as always. Maybe, soon, you'll be able to finally be free" she paused.

"Anyway, you mentioned wanting to know my reason for the past glimpses you've been dreaming and visioning? I want you to realize that you never could stop me. What's going on now is merely a" she paused. "An inconvienece rather than anything worth wasting time and resources halting." His disinterest didn't seem to bother her.

"Well, I'll be heading over to where you'll be giving Shining Heart her new name. Bye, and good riddance" he meowed bitterly, sarcastically.

"See you soon, then" she replied to no cat.
