In the next few days, Melissa and Mavis, along with her parents were introduced to the Weasley Cousins. Melissa was shy, but soon she was felt accepted. It was a good feeling, since she was called a freak by her class mates, and by her Grandfather, Vernon as well. Her confidence felt boosted. She was smiling wider then ever, her hair was changing colors, more quickly. It was as if she couldn't contain her happiness.
"I hope you will leave her here for a few days!" Ginny asked Martha, "She will get used to all of it, and Mavis too, if she likes." She added carefully.
Ginny didn't wanted to make Mavis feel left out, or make her feel the odd one out. She was welcome if she wanted to be here, and if she didn't want it, she shouldn't be forced to see her sister have something, she could never have.
"Can we? Mom!" Mavis was much more excited then Melissa, "Can we, Can we?"
Melissa joined her sister.
"Alright, but only for a couple of days!" Martha gave in quickly, she had gotten comforatble, she like Ginny because of her protective, feisty and fun nature.
Harry stood in the doorway, looking at the elder Dursley sister, and smiled. History won't repeat it self. He was sure. Dudley and Martha hadn't raised their kids to be jealous. Mavis looked as happy as she could be, foe her younger sister.
"Let's go, set your bedrooms, shall we?" Harry went over to the girls and asked the girls.
"With magic?" Mavis asked ask her eyes sparkled.
"Sure!" He led the way, as Melissa came forward. And joined him.
Harry thought she was trying to say something, buts he didn't she just moved back again.
"Uncle Harry!"
"Yes!" Melissa finally said, as Mavis went to see Lily.
"Come on, Melissa, what is it?" Harry sitting on a bed.
"I'm sad..." Melissa was hesitating. "That I'm going to a place, I think Mavis would love to go to. And there is nothing I can do about it!"
"Oh!" Harry stopped,
"I think I don't want to go, if she is going to feel bad!"
"No, Melissa!" Harry sat up straighter, there was something about this little girl which reminded him of someone. "Melissa, being magic, a witch this is your identity, and will Mavis want to give that up?"
"I don't know!" Melissa had tears in her eyes, "She helped me through everything, when people called me a freak, even Grandfather..." She stifled a sob. "I don't know what to do!?"
"You talk to your sister!" Harry simply told her. "You talk to her, and listen to what she is feeling, and maybe then you decide what you want to do."
She nodded.
Harry watched the 11 year old Melissa walk out the door looking for her sister, she was one of the most considerate and sensitive people Harry had ever seen.
