The others stayed.Tears in their eyes.Asking themselves what just happened in the past 20 minutes.

Shocked and confused they waited for an update on peter.

After already 30 minutes FRIDAY alerted them "Mr.Stark, Dr.Banner insisted that you would come down to medbay asap.You can bring the others as well.He needs help with young Peter Parker"

"what? whats wrong now?" Clint asked while getting up

"i have no idea why he'd need our help" Bucky answered Clint

They took the elevator down to MedBay and made their way to Peter's room.

Bruce just came out of the room,heading for the team "ah there you are, glad that you could come so fast, we really need your help"

"what do you need our help for bruce? i thought you were the doc" Tony teased him, really having no clue what he could possibly want from them.

Bruce sighed at Tony's comment "well-He gestured them to follow him- we didnt really get to do anything with peter yet.We were able to wake him up and he's stable again but...He doesnt listen.He's talking nonsense and we cant calm him down.At first he tried breaking out.He said that 'they' would get him.But he doesnt react to anybody here.So i thought maybe you could talk some sense into the kid""wow" was what tony got out."that was not what i was expecting."He was even more worried now(if that was even possible.)

"of course we will help" Natasha said, putting a hand on Tony's shoulder.

Bruce took them to peter's room,the team uncertain of what they would approach.

"there he is" Bruce said, stopping.

They loocked through the glass window,into the room.

There he was in his bed.Face full of sweat.He loocked exhausted,his hair was all messy and his eyes were filled with tears.

Tony stepped in first,slowly,followed by the others. "hey kiddo" He said, with a soft voice. Peter looked up and locked eyes with him."Mr.Stark" He said,with a more tense voice,not his usual overly happy voice."Bruce told me to come here.How do you feel?" Tony came to to a stop next to peter's bed.He sat down on it and put a hand on peters leg.

The boy looked at him, eyes filled with terror and confusion."what are you doing here? and why did you call me kiddo sir"

Tony gasped, "what?" He turned around,the others just as clueless. "why did you call me sir?just call me Tony"

"why do you want me to call you Tony?I dont like to call my targets by their first name.And as far as I know you out of all should know better to stand away from threats than to show up at their,what seems to be a hospital room Sir.That was really unthoughtfull of you."Natasha took a step forward "Peter what the hell are you-""oh i see you brought Backup- Peter started again- and the black widow.That indeed was a good move.-He took a better look at the group- Mr.Barnes."Bucky came forward, peter pointed a finger at him "traitor.""kid stop with that! its not funny okay!" Tony raised his voice, scared of his boy.

Peter loocked him dead in the eyes

"Tony? what are you doing here?" He smiled at the man. Tony widened his eyes, looked at the team seeing them also narrowing their eyebrows and coming closer.

"what?" Natasha asked

"Nat! you came to see me? and the others too? that wasnt necessary,really,I'm fine."he smiled at the group. Natasha had to smile back.

"why were you acting so strange just yet?" Steve asked

Peter looked at tony,confused, "What do you mean?you just came in here"

"what the hell" Bucky let out

Tony cleared his throat"okay well, maybe get some rest now okay? " he smiled at peter and went through his messy hair.

"okay.See you later mr.stark?" The boy asked

Tony turned around at the door "sure thing kiddo" and they left the room

standing outside tony let out a long and loud breath.

"what in the world was that?" clint asked first,eyes wide

"why did he say those things?" Wanda asked, looking at tony "and he called you a target? what was all that about?"Tony scratched his nose "i have no idea"Natasha took the word "well we godda find an answer real fast"Bucky cleared his throat "uhm i think i've seen this before" the others turned around and looked at him

"well spit it out terminator" Tony insisted

Bucky looked at steve,uncomfortable, "that's...that's exactly what it was like when hydra brainwashed people.What they did to me.Thats exactly how it starts.Something,usually code words,activate it and and also end it.When its the first time it doesnt immediately go away. It comes and goes a few times.Until its settled and you can shut if off just like that...and as much as i hate it...thats exactly what it looked like in there with peter..."Sam's jaw dropped.Tony's mouth went dry. They couldnt believe what they were hearing.

"are you sure?" Clint asked,making sure he heard the right thing

Steve answered the question "yes...oh man YES! thats exactly what i saw on the security camera footage of your-he looked at bucky- first activation.It took you some time to have it shut off when they said the words"Tony sighed."so Peter is a hydra brainwashed assassin?"

nobody answered, they just stood there,silently.Looking at their boy sleeping calmly in his hospital bed.
