Yet another crossover story I made in this site. it's a crossover between God of War and The Bible. Note that i don't own God of War. enjoy the story!

Kratos slept and shared a room with Jesus, as always, while the other disciples including Athena slept in other rooms.

For hours, Kratos had fallen into the bizzare world of dreams. What he saw was not very pleasant...

Five!

Slash!

Six!

Another slash was heard, this time, with a sound of flesh.

Seven!

And yet, another slash was heard, and the sound of the flesh can be heard a little bit clearer.

Eight!

Slash!

Nine!

Thump, Slash!

Ten!

Twenty Five!

Kratos entered the place, where he saw a large gatherings of the crowds, including the Pharisees and the Scribes. They were watching a tormented man, who were being whipped by multiple soldiers, his skin beyond unrecognisable.

"Well, this seems most unfortunate, right your majesty?" The guard mocked, while he spat on his face, and began whipping him again, causing him to scream in agony.

The crowd gasped at the sight of the horror. "Aww, look at Him. We got ourselves a king bowing down before our feet, eh?"

"King? I'd rather not have this scumbag as a King." The soldiers laughed, before whipping the man again, who yelled in pain, his flesh falling off of his earthly body.

Kratos tried to enter the flogging area to confirm his suspicions, but was stopped by a Centurion, who were in charge of the flogging, "Sorry, but you can't enter. Turn away before things get very ugly.

But Kratos grabbed the centurion by his arm chest, "I seek an audience with the flogged man, and that is what I intend to do." Kratos said, before throwing the Centurion away, shocking the nearby people.

Kratos approached the whipped man, who didn't show any sign of fighting back. But he was stopped by the three of the guards, "Sorry, but you can't pass. This is a zone where only members of the royal kingdom is allowed." The other guards laughed at his joke, and the other mocked, "Members of the royal kingdom? More like members of the royal trash!" The guards laughed like a maniac.

Ignoring their 'funny' jokes, Kratos spoke, "I seek to have a conversation with the man, now stay out of my way." Kratos demanded.

The guards laughed and started mocking Kratos, "Behold! The bald saviour is here to save the king! What a majestic story if ya ask me!" The others laughed like a maniac again hearing the jokes.

Having enough, Kratos unsheathed his blades, and swung it towards their very necks, causing them to bled and detached from each of their bodies.

Kratos approached the man, who were beaten and battered, shunned by the others. He grabbed the man by his head and lifted up, and revealed...

"Why...Why didn't you save me?" The man said, whimpering. Kratos dropped the head, walking backwards away from the man, while muttering, "S- Son of God?!"

Jesus stood up weakly, and said, "I took you...I mentored you...I treated you like you're my own son...I brought you the redemption you wanted so much!" He walked towards Kratos, slowly.

"And yet...you abandoned Me, shunned Me, betrayed Me!" Jesus shouted at Kratos.

"I...I did?" Kratos asked in disbelief.

"YES YOU DID!" Jesus yelled, and Kratos was silent once more. "Why are you treating Me like this, Kratos? Why are you treating me like a toy?"

"I would never..." Kratos muttered slowly. "Look at me Kratos...LOOK AT ME!" Jesus screamed again, His voice cracking. Kratos looked at Jesus, who's flesh were ripped off from it's original place, the whiteness of the bones leaking out of its skin, the crimson color of His blood streaming wildly across His body.

"I...I don't..." Kratos muttered, he did not understand what Jesus is trying to say. "YOU ABANDONED ME! YOU...YOU...YOU LEFT ME!" Jesus shouted.

Jesus fell to His knees, "I loved you like a son of My own..."

"I am...so...sorry...can You ever...forgive me?" Kratos replied, feeling a train of self-guilt. But Jesus spat at his direction, "I will never forgive a failure such as yourself... "

Kratos unsheathed his blades, "If You see me dead, right here, right now...will You forgive me?" Kratos asked, trying so hard not let his tears come out of his eyes. Jesus was one of the people he cared about most. He will do anything, even if it means his death.

"It's too late for that." Jesus said, as darkness began consuming the Messiah, slowly.

Kratos widened his eyes, and rushed at Him, "No! Don't You dare!"

"Goodbye Kratos...I hope you're satisfied with My demise." Jesus said darkly, His expression turned into an expression of pure hatred. Kratos keeps rushing towards Him, but it was too late. Kratos jumped and Jesus vanished from thin air, the darkness disappeared out of sight.

Kratos, in disbelief, shouted, "No, no, no! You cannot do this to me!" The Ghost of Sparta began punching himself in rage, slashing himself with his own blades, as blood comes out of his body, he began seeing visions of Calliope, Lysandra, Deimos, Callisto, and Orkos, his former friend.

They all said in unison, "You failed us all, Ghost of Sparta." And Kratos delivered the last blow towards himself, and that is, penetrating his own head with his blades, to release him from the torment that is his life.

"KRATOS! WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO?!" Came a worried voice from Jesus, who woke Kratos up from his nightmare. Kratos looked around the room and scanned it, and declared that it was only a nightmare.

He found out that his hands were being held by Jesus, "Have you gone crazy?! Why are you trying to hurt yourself?!"

Kratos looked to the wounds of his body, fresh blood coming out of them. "The...nightmares...I saw You...You..." Kratos tried so hard not to cry, he was taught not to show weakness. The thing he saw in his nightmares was unpleasant, and he never wants to see it again.

"You were being tormented." Kratos growled. Jesus replied with a sigh, "I told you...it will happen soon. I just want you to calm down, breathe, pretend that you have never seen any of it."

"You told me that I abandoned you...in the nightmare." Kratos said, surprising Jesus. "Everyone will abandon Me eventually, Kratos, I do not seek your loyalty. Now calm down, I've told Simon to bring you a water." Jesus finished, before touching Kratos's fresh wounds, healing them almost instantly.

Simon came into the room with a cup of water, and gave it to Kratos, "Here man. Don't freak any of us like that ever again!" Simon yelled, and Kratos took the cup and drank from it, feeling relieved a bit.

"I thank you, fishmen." Kratos said with a tone of being grateful. Simon took the cup, and went outside. "I need to get out of here." Kratos spoke, and Jesus asked, "For what purpose?"

"To get some fresh air." Kratos responded, and Jesus said, "No. You will not be going alone."

Kratos sighed.

Back in the Greek world...

"CURSE IT!" Came an angry voice, slamming the ground with absolute anger. "If I wasn't arrogant enough, I would've killed the Spartan! And none of this would've happened!" Hades yelled. It has been months since Kratos destroyed the world, and Hades and his fellow gods has been trapped under Tartarus for months now, circling the river styx for god knows how long, with seemingly no purpose at all.

And how Hades is in Tartarus when his soul has already been devoured by Kratos? Hades's soul had returned to Tartarus months ago, after Zeus disposed Kratos of his powers at the last moment.

"Hades, calm yourself. This is all of our fault, not just yours." Poseidon approached him, and Hades stood and yelled, "Calm?! CALM DOWN?! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO BE 'CALM' WHEN WE ARE STUCK IN TARTARUS, WHILE THE WORLD GOES INTO SHIT?!"

"Kratos is a remarkable opponent. We should focus on getting out of this place and planning our next move against him. Your whining won't help us at all, Hades." Helios retorted.

"Yeah! And I will take his title as the God of War! Zeus will be proud of me!" Hercules declared. "The world is destroyed now, and all you care about is a petty title?" Poseidon spatted back, but Hercules didn't respond.

Hades sighed, "Should we call out on the titans to help us?"

"Have you gone nuts, Hades? The titans are basically one of the reasons why our world and mountain is destroyed." Hermes replied, but Hades grabbed the messenger of the gods by his neck, "Watch your tone against me, messenger."

Hermes laughed lightly, "Well I'm sorry your majesty, as if I wasn't speaking the truth! Bollocks..."

Hades dropped Hermes, who puts his hand on his neck to ease the pain. "What's our plan now?" Hades asked, and Poseidon answered, "Just be quiet for a little moment and give us some time to think."

A chuckle can be heard from behind, "Hahahaha...miss me, my fellow gods?"

That familiar voice..."Ares." Hades muttered. Ares laughed again, "So I have heard that my ultimate warrior had brought your precious 'Olympus' where it belongs, in the dirt! BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Hades approached Ares aggressively, and grabbed him with his two hands, "All of this is your mess, Ares. If you weren't so obsessed with Zeus's throne, maybe all of this wouldn't have happened."

Ares laughed, "Zeus is an incompetent leader, why do you trust him?"

But Hermes spat back, "And you're an ultimate failure of a god."

"Messenger, you better stay put and know your place." Ares threatened, but Hades's grip were harder than before, "You're talking to ME, not him. You are held accountable for all of this mess. If I have the power over Tartarus as I once had, I would've tormented you for eternity."

"Nice threat, but empty." Ares said, as he grabbed Hades's hand and threw it off of him. Ares landed on the ground, and said, "Kratos is held accountable for this...'mess', not me, so you better stay back." He said.

"But if you didn't give him the power he had and made him use it to kill his family, all of this won't happen at all! But, y'know, since Ares is a certified genius, I guess we won't do anything but agree with this dickhead." Hermes retorted, and it enraged Ares.

"Enough! Your bickering won't solve any of our problems." Poseidon shouted to them.

"My point stands still, Ares is a certified genius." Hermes said, while chuckling a bit. Ares gave him a dirty look, but Hermes ignored it.

"Childish idiots." Helios said under his breath.

As they converse, a portal opened before them, revealing a giant, bulky, demonic creature with his army of demons, "Greetings, gods of Olympus!"

Hades looked to the demon in suspicion, as too the other gods. "I come in peace! I do not mean any harm to you or to this world. I only seek to...help you." The bulky, crimson-red coloured creature said again.

"'Help us'? As if we're going to trust you immediately. Who are you exactly?" Helios took a step into the front, asking them their identity.

"I am Lucifer, a demon from another world. I came here to seek your help, and to seek to help you too, so...basically, a mutual relationship." The demon king smirked.

"No. Not interested, get lost." Hades retorted. Hermes agreed apparently, "Yeah, I agree with the big guy."

"Me too." Hercules said. "I don't trust him." Poseidon replied too. Ares said, "If that's the case, then I will trust-" Ares was struck in the head by Hades, causing him to yell in pain, "Ow! What was that for?!"

Hades only grinned as a response, causing Ares to be annoyed. "Well...I guess this will convince you." Lucifer replied, showing an image of the tormented Zeus, chained like an animal.

"FATHER?!" Hercules yelled

"BROTHER?!" Poseidon and Hades yelled.

"uhh...Zeus?" Hermes said, bored.

Whereas Ares just smiled, "Hah! He deserved tha-" He was struck in the head again by Hades, "Shut the fuck up!"

"What have you done with him?!" Poseidon said, preparing a battle stance. "Oh nothing, I just gave him a little bit of 'pain' juice and here he is!" Lucifer grinned.

"Release him...now." Helios threatened, but Lucifer insisted that they should help him, "Sure, sure, sure, just agree that you'll help us and he will return to you in no time."

"What's your deal?" Hades asked, and Lucifer smirked, before he began to explain...everything..

In the shores of Galilee...

Kratos sat with Jesus in front of the shores of Galilee. Jesus puts His arms around Kratos's shoulders as they sat together. "Calm down, the nightmares will be gone soon." Jesus assured. He tried several times to wipe the nightmares out, but it seems to have a habit of returning a few hours later.

Jesus sighed, there's nothing He can do about the nightmares at the moment. Kratos then said, "The Sisters of Fate must have something to do with this..."

"Don't think about it, Kratos. Your paranoia and fears are too much, it will kill you in the process." Jesus replied.

"You were brutally murdered, Son of God...in the dreams...they...took your flesh off of Your body, they whipped You, spat at You, mocked You-" Kratos was interrupted by Jesus, "I know! I know. That is the moment I must prepare for. The pain will be excruciating..." He said sadly.

"Why? Why are You so determined about Your death? Why not escape it?" Kratos asked.

"It must be done. Humanity must know that God still loves them, and that He hasn't abandoned any of them. I...must bear the sins of the world on my shoulders, and in order for that to happen...I must die the most painful death that mankind can ever muster." Jesus finished, His expression turned sad.

Humanity? Humanity does not deserve His love, not even Kratos, or so he thought. Kratos, despite not saying anything, will not let anything happen to Jesus, he swore. But to his ignorance, the LORD knew this will happen, and the Father has prepared another plan, unbeknownst to Jesus Himself.

The Kingdom of Hell...

"KRATOS IS THERE?!" yelled the enraged Hades. Lucifer explained, "No, nope, nope, not the time to engage yet. I just want all of you to agree to help me."

As the fires of hell continued to heat the gods up, Hades finally agreed, as the other gods too, "As long as I get to kill the Spartan, then count me in." Hades said, and Hermes continued, "That Spartan fought unfairly! I will have my revenge."

"Good! Good. Now, you may wait in your chambers." Lucifer smirked. Hades asked suddenly, "Wait, chambers-"

A familiar blade slashed all of the gods, causing them to fall unconscious. It was the Blade of Olympus, wielded by the captain of the demons, Beelzebub.

"Splendid. Now bring them to each of their chambers, and we will wait." Lucifer commanded, and they did as he said. Lucifer also saw the portal opened, revealing the Minotaurs, the Cerberus, and all the other beasts from the Greek world. Lucifer grinned, "You won't know what's coming in your doorsteps, FATHER!" He said vengefully into the sky, and it evolved into a maniacal laughter. "Hah...it hurts to laugh..." Lucifer added, as he sat back in his throne.
