Naruto Of The Uchiha
What did you do?
Walking into the cave garnered a lot of attention. His clothes were stained in blood, and he looked like hell. Although it was obvious that none of the blood was actually his. He himself looked perfectly fine. The question had to be asked, "What happened?" they wondered though, if they really would want to get an answer.
"They're gone." Naruto said plainly infront of everybody who just gathered.
Itachi, and Sasuki had finally made their way to the front when he spoke. They only got to look for a few seconds before he said that. Directly infront of Naruto stood Itachi, Sasuki, Jiraya, Tsunade, Zabuza, Asuma, Yugao, Hinto, Gaara, Temari, Kankuro, Baki, and then everybody else behind them.
"What do you mean they're gone?" Jiraya said seriously.
"The war's over. We can return to our villages now."
"Naruto...don't make me ask again."
"And what the hell are you gonna do? Huh! This is the result of when you oppose me! Kumogakure's gone! I killed them all! You think you can stop me? HA! I'd like to see you try, Jiraya!" Naruto's Sharingan spun into his EMS and he began to release low amounts of chakra.
"He's not alone." Tsunade said as she stepped forward as well.
Naruto just looked at her. "The drunkened mess of a medic. You think I'm scared of you? I've taken on more than you can fathom, you wouldn't even be able to take a step towards me before I killed you!"
"That's enough, Naruto." Asuma and Yugao both came forward.
"Naruto...when you say that Kumo is gone...what do you mean?" Hinto said
"I OBLITERATED THAT DAMNED VILLAGE! EVERYBODY KILLED BY MY HAND! NOTHING BUT ASH AND RUBBLE REMAINS OF THAT VILLAGE!" Naruto smiled wickedly and began to laugh maniacally.
"Naruto! Not everyone is a shinobi. There were civilians!" Jiraya said
Naruto just chuckled "They paid for the sins of their shinobi! I JUST ENDED THE WAR! ALL FUTURE WARS!"
Sasuki was getting nervous. What was wrong with Naruto? Why was he acting like this? This wasn't him. Itachi felt stuck, this was the result of everything he'd been through. His true feelings were coming out.
Sasuki began to remember what Kakashi had said back then. The source of Naruto's true power came from his darkness. Was this what happened? Was it from when he took on all the Jinchuriki and Kages at once?
"That wasn't the right way, Naruto! You can't just take innocent lives!"
"Innocent? It I'd left them, they would have just rebuilt then attacked again! Don't you get it! They must all be destroyed otherwise they would just strike back! War is a never ending cycle! I've just broken Kumogakure's chance at continuing the cycle! From ever coming back!"
"You don't get to go around killing anyone you please! There's a right way to do this!" Tsunade said
"There is no right and wrong in war! It's an eye for an eye!"
"So that's what this is about? They hurt you by killing Kakashi, so you retaliate by slaughtering and wiping out an entire village! Killing civilian men, women and children! You killed kids Naruto! DO YOU NOT CARE?" Jiraya said taking a step towards Naruto.
Everyone stared at Naruto, awaiting his answer. He just killed an entire village of people, and seemed to have no remorse. Glad even. Was the beloved captain of 2nd Company, the loyal ANBU Captain, gone?
"No...no I don't. EVERYTHING HAS BEEN TAKEN FROM ME! NEVER AGAIN! Never again will I allow an enemy to have the chance to take anymore! This world will be changed! I will decimate any opposition that threatens peace!"
"Then you'll have to go through us...because what you are seeking is not peace Naruto...World domination and peace aren't the same. Please Naruto...surrender yourself to Konoha and face trial for what you've done..." Jiraya said taking another step to Naruto.
"There's no such thing as peace. It is only a dream. I will ensure-"
"Naruto-kun, that's enough. You need to relax and come with us."
Naruto looked straight at Itachi and became angered "REALLY? YOU STAND BY DOING NOTHING! SHISUI GOT KILLED AND YOU REMAINED IDLY BY! KAKASHI GOT KILLED AND YOU STILL DO NOTHING! I TOOK ACTION, WHERE YOU WERE COMPLACENT!"
Naruto reached for his tanto and began to take steps towards them. They got scared and didn't know what to do. Was he planning on attacking? Could they even stop him if they wanted? Gaara's sand began to move to protect him from attack and everyone took a step back and froze. They realized he'd placed them under a paralysis Genjutsu and couldn't break it.
Sasuki watched from her same place. She noticed that she could still move for some reason and watched as Naruto was getting closer to everyone. Knowing that he was planning on killing them all, she had to make a choice. A tear left her eyes as she went through a few handsigns and charged Naruto with a Raikiri. She stabbed her hand through his heart, attacking from his left side since his eye was shut for some reason that she didn't know.
Naruto's eyes widened and his left eye snapped open. Red cracks were spread all over the white of his eye and he saw Sasuki. He tilt his head to the left slightly in confusion and gasped. He furrowed his brows as he didn't understand. Dropping to his knees, he coughed up blood as she went to hers with him.
"I'm sorry...Naru-kun..."
"Y-you? You'd... be-betray me?" He dropped down laying on his back as she broke down crying over him.
Everyone could now move as Naruto's eyes shut and he lost consciousness. Jiraya came forward "How were you able to move?"
She couldn't respond because she just kept crying. Itachi came forward and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Because he never thought she'd try to strike him down. He trusted her more than anyone else. Loves her more than anything else...even in this state, he never thought he'd need to defend himself from her. For better or for worse, she is his weak spot and the only one he lowers his guard towards. It is why he didn't react or realize her attack until then."
"She killed him..." Temari said.
Zabuza shook his head. "Thats not enough to keep him down. I stabbed him through the heart with Kubikiribocho when he protected her. He didn't know he would live at the time but Jinchuriki aren't so easy to kill."
"So he was willing to die for her...his love was that immense...no wonder he never expected her to do that." Temari said.
"Shut up, Temari." Gaara said "She doesn't need to be hearing that right now." She backed away and he shook his head. "You fascinate me, Naruto. What will happen now?" Naruto awoke a week later, he was chained up and had a sealing tag over him to block his ability to use chakra. He blinked a few times to get an idea on where he was. It was a cell, this was Konoha's prison.
"N-Naru-kun?" He looked over to the voice at the entrance of the cell, and there Sasuki stood. He looked away and didn't say anything. "P-please say something."
Still he sat silently and ignored her. She knew he'd be hurt by what she did but...part of her hoped that it would have fixed what was wrong with him.
"Naruto-kun...you will have a trial before the council in a few weeks." Naruto didn't respond. He just stared into space. "Let's go, Sasuki."
Itachi and her left, leaving him alone. He glanced over to the entrance and when he saw no one, he tried to move, tried anything to break free. Every bit of him was restrained and locked up. The seal on his bindings meant he couldn't utilize his chakra.
He tried to enter his mindscape to reach Kurama but couldn't. Figuring that the little chakra that he can concentrate gets disrupted in some way, he just had to sit and wait.
-Two Weeks Later-
"So, Naruto Uchiha, can you tell the us what you've done?" Koharu said.
Naruto stood before the Shinobi Council, and the Civilian Council. ANBU stood around him, all with a sword pointed at him, ready to strike should he try anything. Not that he really was in position to, do to being chained up and the seal over him.
Naruto looked passively at each member. "I ended the war."
"Care to elaborate?" Shikaku Nara said.
Naruto looked straight at him. "The village and everyone in it...is no more."
Everybody gasped in shock. Even the ANBU broke composure for a brief second. They all knew he was powerful, but to wipe out an entire village? Surprisingly enough, there was a member that seemed to approve, that being Danzo. He had a small smirk which angered Naruto, but he hid it well.
"The civilians?" Shibi Aburame said.
"Gone."
"As in out of the village?"
Naruto smirked which served to unnerve everyone. "As in dead." Jaws dropped "I killed every living thing there. Nothing remains."
"W-Why?"
"I ended the war. I've also ended all future wars with them. There is no chance of recovery, no retaliating, nothing. There is no longer an enemy."
Danzo nodded as he understood Naruto's logic. This event, truly proved that Naruto was a true shinobi to him. He respected the boy's power but now, he saw him as what all shinobi should be.
"That's not-"
"To hell with that! This is war! There is no room for bullshit morals! It is kill or be killed, you should be thankful that I ended this stupid war! You lazy bastards didn't do shit! We fought, bled, killed and died! While you just sat and watched!"
Danzo at this point was mentally dancing around. Naruto was spitting nothing but facts and he agreed entirely to this point.
"Naruto you need to calm down."
"Oh do I, Hiruzen? Do I need to calm down? I'M DONE! YOU'LL ALL ADMIT I WAS RIGHT EVENTUALLY! YOU'LL COME CRAWLING, NEEDING ME! WATCH!" Naruto growled and looked to the ANBU "Take me away."
They felt conflicted on whether they were to comply with him or wait. Eventually they just took him as there was no denials from any of the council members so they just took him.
"Here, Captain..." They placed him in his cell and tried to help make him as comfortable as possible. Despite what he did, they still saw him as the loyal Captain and the one who was willing to sacrifice himself for his squad on numerous occasions. They still held a large amount of respect for him.
-3 Weeks Later-
Konoha still was recovering from the effects of the war. Even in victory, they still suffered losses. For the most part, the recovery was mostly due to emotional loss. There was also talk of what had happened to the hero of the war? No one had been told anything about what happened after the war was over, it just seemed like he was gone.
Hiruzen hadn't left his office since the council meeting. "How could he fall so far? Where did it all go wrong?"
"Sandaime-sama, you summoned me?"
"Yes, sorry Itachi...I just want to know what happened. What caused all this?"
Itachi sighed. "The turn was most notable when Kakashi died...but I believe that it started when he learned of the massacre and the true cause of Shisui's death."
Hiruzen nodded. "I see."
"He isn't a lost cause Sandaime-sama...it is true that he effected heavily by the curse, but he isn't completely under it. Naruto-kun still holds love for Sasuki, and had enough control to not let anything he did effect her, which was also his downfall."
Hiruzen closed his eyes. "Yes, but the feeling of betrayal...isn't something you can just let go. The way Naruto-kun is, he never makes the same mistake twice...ever. If he views something as a potential threat, he will neutralize it and ensure that the threat is ineffective. Don't expect her to be able to get him so easily again."
"I don't know the best plan of action at the moment."
Hiruzen chuckled weakly "That's a first."
The ground and everything began to shake. Itachi and Hiruzen looked to eachother in confusion. The shaking got violent and it sounded like something was tearing through the ground. They looked out the window to see absolutely massive snakes break through the walls of Konoha with a loud explosion.
Without saying a word, the two left to go defend the village. Outside was mayhem as massive snakes wrecked havoc and there were a lit of shinobi running in. They consisted of mutated looking nin with a music note on their headbands and shinobi of Iwa.
The music note shinobi seemed berserk and not entirely there. They were just rampaging and destroying anything in sight. Their skin seemed impenetrable...it wasn't easy to pierce at all and they were powerful. These...things...were a problem to deal with, most taking multiple shinobi to take one out.
On top of that, Iwa was here as well. Most likely to avenge the Tsuchikage and his granddaughter. The question was who was leading this invasion?
Sasuki ran through the village trying to get on top of the situation when she looked over and thought she saw Kakashi beside her. She went to ask a question when she passed a tree and with that, the vision of Kakashi was gone. A frown came but she looked ahead and focused on the task at hand.
Jumping to a group, she unleashed a fireball at the Iwa nins and was confused about why they chose to attack now. The war was over, they'd lost, not only the war, but their Kage and the runner up for the position. Aside from that, their numbers were greatly reduced. So something had to have made them confident in this for some reason. But what?
She looked around and things seemed to have quieted down in her area. Like the apex predator just arrived and everything else ran off. Her Sharingan spun to life as she looked around. Something felt very off at the moment.
Suddenly a large snake barreled towards her, she flipped over to her left to dodge and watched it shoot off into the village. Another came, then another and another. As she dodged the last one, she noticed some trying to bite the base of her neck. She managed to move enough for the person to miss but was surprised when the head snaked back around to her.
She dodged and was forced into a smaller area where there wasn't much room. Tge head finally was joined by it's body as a very pale man stood there. He had long black hair, yellow eyes with a black vertical slit for the pupils. His eyes had purple that traced around them and his nose. Wearing a black long sleeve turtleneck with a tan shirt over it, and gray pants, he chuckled a chuckle that screamed evil.
Sasuki felt as he tried unleashing his killing intent on her to cause fear, but it was practically ineffective. Solely because she had felt Naruto's bloodlust and his hatred before. Nothing surpassed his, she thought.
Still, it was obvious that he was no pushover and was really dangerous. She'd need to be very careful. Sasuki would be lying if she said that she didn't rely heavily on Naruto. There was always the assurance, that he'd be there to save her if she needed. But now that was not possible and not having that safety blanket made things difficult.
Normally she would fight and rush into things head on, without worry. Knowing he was always there to protect her, this time, she was on her own.
Sasuki grabbed her katana and held it infront of her. She tilt the blade until it pointed at him and then unleashed a bolt of lightning at him. She watched in disgust as his torso curved away from the bolt. It seemed like he had no spine!
She went through a few signs and unleashed a massive fireball at him, the man stood there and took the impact. Sasuki smirked when she saw him scorched, however this was short lived when his mouth opened up to inhuman proportions. From within, two hands ooened it more as he climbed out, perfectly fine.
"Who the hell are you?"
He chuckled "About time you ask. I am Orochimaru."
"Orochimaru?" She thought for a second "Sandaime-sama's student?"
Orochimaru nodded. "Yes, and I want your eyes...as well as something else."
She lowered into her stance and prepared to strike. He blurred passed her and kicked her in tbe back. She dispersed into crows and stabbed him from behind.
"Hm, should have figured that Naruto would have taught you some things...still, this is nit nearly enough." He climbed out again, regenerating.
"Each time he sheds, it costs a lot of chakra. There is only a limited amount of times he csn do that..." Sasuki rubbed the back of the blade as a trail of fire followed.
"Oh, the Uchiha's Halo Dance. What didn't you learn from him?" Orochimaru said, aggravating Sasuki.
She started to attack and he kept dodging by bending in inhuman ways. Finally becoming frustrated, she blew out ten small fireballs and threw shuriken within them. They sped at high-speeds to Orochimaru who dodged but was surprised when Sasuki smirked. She bit some wires and the shuriken came flying back at him, making impact finally.
Before he got fully enveloped, Orochimaru shed his skin once more. At this point, Sasuki was panting, a lot of energy and chakra was expended to get that attack to land. There was no way she could get him to run out of chakra by shedding. He was obviously very well aware of that and to this point remained passive, letting her waste energy.
It frustratingly reminded her of when she was training to build her reserves in the first place. Naruto would fight this same way back then. Never one to strike until she was exhausted and/or he had the absolute perfect opening.
It was his way of going "easy" on her since even back then, he was leagues above her. Where had all the training gone? Why did she seem so weak? So inferior?
"You have been the light to his darkness..."
"He is at his most powerful when he gives into that hatred and anger...gives into his darkness..."
"Naruto is currently at his current peak of strength. Giving into his darkness has allowed him to reach this power to take on the Kages and Jinchurikia all at once."
"I destroyed the village! Killed every living thing! The war is over!"
Was it because her whole life, she'd been in the light? Sheltered by Naruto who lived in the dark? The opportunity given by the sacrifices of her dear older brother and Shisui. Was she so weak in comparison because she lacked the hatred, anger, and sadness that surrounded Naruto? That was all she could think about as her vision blurred for a second.
Why was it like this? All that training, and she still, wasn't anywhere near the level of Naruto and Itachi. She felt pathetic. Sasuki began to sheathe her sword and took a deep breath to calm her thoughts.
Going through three hand signs, she gripped her left wrist and formed a Chidori. She surprised him by not running at Orochimaru, instead she extended her hand. A beam shot from it and punctured his chest. Sending a shock through his whole body stunning him.
He couldn't move and she had the upper hand at the moment. However, she knew this would only last as long as she put chakra into this. Eventually, she'd wear out. So to counteract, she began to come closer to deliver a killing blow. Just as she got in range, Orochimaru opened his mouth and the Kusanagi sword shot out, blade first at Sasuki.
She took out a kunai and deflected it off course but was surprised when he could control it telekinetically as it came at her again. This time she ducked as it turned but this time it, it blocked the stream of lightning, freeing Orochimaru.
He grabbed his sword and chuckled as he looked at her. "You put up a good effort. It is clear that you aren't at the level of your brother, nor that damned Naruto."
She heard his voice waiver at saying Naruto's name and smiled slightly. "You fear him. Don't you?"
"Hmm, I don't know if that's the word I'd use...but I can't beat him. That doesn't matter though, he's locked up in prison and can't sense his marker on you." She frowned since he knew that Naruto wouldn't be saving anyone this time. "I also know about what you did to him...think he'd even want to help you now? His life of hatred and darkness, you were the light and betrayed him...think he will see you the same? Think he will care for you anymore?"
Sasuki looked down. Perhaps he was right. Naruto would never forgive her for what she did. Her stance faltered and she got lost in thought. She didn't even notice Orochimaru coming at her until she heard a clang.
"Don't listen to anything he says! He's just trying to trick you!"
She looked up and saw Hiruzen in his battle gear, holding a black staff, blocking Orochimaru. He wore a black body suit, and a helmet that had armor to cover the sides and back of his head, as well as plates to protect his shoulders and collarbones.
"Is it really a trick...when it's the truth?" Orochimaru said.
"Enough! Orochimaru, you'll die today! I should have ended it long ago...I'll correct it this time."
"Sandaime-sama-"
"Get out of here Sasuki. You can't take him. The village needs you!"
Orochimaru chuckles and looks at her. "I'll be coming for you later..."
Orochimaru sends a kick to Hiruzen to which he dodges. Sasuki leaves as they begin their fight and goes to help anyone she can. As she was on top of a building there was an explosion at the entrance to the prison.
"What is going on? There is no one special there except...oh no." Sasuki began running as fast as possible to the prison. "They can't actually be planning on taking him...can they?"
When she arrived to the prison, for the most part, it was utterly destroyed. Bodies sprawled out everywhere. There was no sign of the guards, nor any ANBU that would have been present in case of Naruto attempting an escape. So what was the plan? If they released him, well, they wouldn't control him for one. Secondly, what would they even gain from taking him? He definitely wouldn't fight for them. So what was the plan exactly? Get him out and hopes he sides with them? Then again...he wasn't exactly acting like himself so...
She continued on and notice that his cell was more or less in perfect condition. His restraints nor seal were not present. So that meant that they were still on Naruto. At least that meant that they didn't expect him to be on their side, then what was it? She remembered that Orochimaru wanted her eyes...Naruto possessed by far the most powerful between her, Itachi, and him. However if that was their goal, they would never succeed. Just merely taking an Uchiha's eyes doesn't give them the full access of said eyes. Especially with him...the Sharingan consumes great amounts of chakra. Naruto's would kill someone just by activating his Mangekyo. The required amounts of chakra for his abilities make it so that only he could ever hope to use them. Everything Naruto does, can be labelled as a his eyes obviously would gain them nothing unless they were also able to manage to get themselves a Bijuu...which Naruto does have the Kyubi. So maybe since he was more powerful and was already restrained, perhaps they chose him over her.
"I'm not sure how much longer I can hold back my darkness. How long I can stay within the light."
At the time, she didn't think much about that. Maybe she really should have. Sasuki never imagined that he would ever succumb to his demons. He always seemed so strong...well, seemed was the key word. No one ever truly understood the depths of the pain within his heart. The Sharingan amplified the emotions of an Uchiha, drew power based on emotion. With him also having the Eternal...an eye so unknown and at such a young age, nobody stopped to consider what he was dealing with. Add the Kyubi...and even though it wasn't doing anything to harm him, the chakra still had an effect. So many things were overlooked in regards to Naruto. Now it was all coming back on them. At least he hadn't been too hostile to them until he'd been provoked by Jiraya and Tsunade, followed by everyone he'd come to trust...then her. Was she the one to finally break him?
Where did it all start? Could they have prevented this at all? Was there any way to avoid this turn of events? It seemed like everything had been set in motion since the day Naruto turned four...Continued on through the death of Shisui and the loss of the clan where he took in the girl whose brother was the "cause" of everything. The events in Iwa and the forced usage of his Mangekyo. But who could have been pulling the strings to cause so many events? It obviously wasn't Hiruzen, he always treated Naruto like a grandchild so there was no way he would orchestrate such a plot. Everything so meticulously put into place in order to all fall apart at once. The resources, knowledge this person must have...there would be no place he couldn't reach.
The village was being destroyed everywhere, the ninja were all being overwhelmed. The snakes and mutated ninja were all causing damage and weren't easy to deal with. Then with Iwa coming when they would be distracted was a potent strategy. it would only be a matter of time before they were wiped out. With Hiruzen fighting Orochimaru and Itachi dealing with what he could, there wasn't much hope for them. No one had the same level of power like Itachi, Kakashi or...Naruto.
That was it. That was the goal, they didn't want him to even have a chance to rescue the situation. Since he was a wildcard, no one would know what side he'd take, it would be best to get rid of him. That way no one gained his strength as he alone had the ability to change the tide of a conflict. You could be on the verge of losing and he would swoop in and destroy the enemy. The question merely was, "Who was his enemy?" at this point, no one would be surprised if he were to say everyone.
Could there be a chance of bringing him back? Could she have him back? Like how things were before. "No matter what. You will always be my light that I come back to." Did he mean that? Was it true that he'd always come back?
Still she needed to figure out where they took him. Him being out of the cell could cause something to happen to the seal. If that seal comes off for whatever reason, he'd be able to break free and he'd wreck havoc on whatever stands in the way of his goals.
As she ran, Hiruzen came crashing beside her. "Are you ok?"
Hiruzen grunted slightly "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm really getting too old for this...maybe if I was just a few years younger at the least, this wouldn't be so bad."
Sasuki helped him up and when she looked towards where he came from, she recognized figures from the monument. Right before her eyes were the former three Hokage...The Shodaime, Nidaime and...Yondaime.
"B-b-but how? T-they're dead!"
"Orochimaru used a forbidden Jutsu...one that one of my senseis created. How he brought back Minato though...I do not know."
Sasuki gulped. There was no way she could hope to take on these legends. "Sandaime-sama...Naru-kun...he's been taken."
"Yes. I figured that would happen during this. But it won't be long before he arrives."
"What do you mean?"
"Naruto-kun is a perfect Sage. The only currently living. The seal blocks his chakra, that's true. Senjutsu though...that isn't blocked, the cell blocked his ability to gather nature energy. He'll break free once he gathers enough. It will take a lot to break that seal. Once he does, he will have free access to his chakra."
"Why doesn't it block his Sage Chakra?"
"A failsafe...for this exact reason. Should this event have happened or anyone tried infiltrating to take him and gain the powers he holds...he'd be able to free himself. For better or for worse, it is better that he be free than let our enemies steal his power."
"But no one can handle his eyes. They'd be killed immediately."
"There's other ways to get someone's power. The body and blood hold many secrets."
She understood slightly but couldn't get a better understanding. The former Kages arrived before them. Standing in the flesh were some of Konoha's greatest heroes. Hashirama Senju, the first Hokage smiled slightly at the Uchiha.
"Hello there, little Uchiha. How are they?"
"T-they're all dead...only me and two others are alive."
"Oh...I see...I'm sorry to hear that."
"I'm not. Better off that way." Tobirama said as he crossed his arms.
"You realize that I'm an Uchiha right?"
"Yes, but you're actually alright. You aren't like those others." Tobirama said looking to the youngest of the Kage.
"Y-Yondaime-sama..."
"Hello there." Minato smiled widely. "How's my son?" Both Hiruzen and Sasuki gulped. "What's wrong? Is he ok?"
"He's...having a rough time..." Hiruzen critically said.
Tobirama raised an eyebrow as Minato lost all his playfulness and got deadly serious. Before Minato could speak, Tobirama sighed. "Does it have anything to do with the Mangekyo?" Sasuki tilt her head. "Listen, I may act like I hate them, I don't. I just don't trust them. Those eyes, change the Uchiha and they lose who they once were."
"Not always Tobirama!"
"I know elder brother. But don't act like it didn't happen to most."
"What's happened to my son." Minato glared at Hiruzen.
"First off, he's the youngest true master of the Sharingan."
"He awakened the Mangekyo?"
"Awakened the Eternal Mangekyo." Hiruzen corrected.
Tobirama whistled "Yeah...you've definitely got a problem. Saru, what have you done to handle this? Both me and elder brother taught you a lot."
"Yes...well...he was so strong, seemed fine..."
"That's the worst sign and you know this. Bottled up emotions is the worst thing for them in that state, especially at so young. He like 16?"
"12..."
Tobirama, Hashirama went wide eyed with their jaws dropped open. Minato glared even more as his Sharingan spun to life. "Just what the hell have you allowed him to endure!"
"Minato, I tried, I really did!"
"Lies Hiruzen! We both know that if you didn't want something to happen, it wouldn't! So what did you sweep under the rug!"
"I-I-"
"Was it Danzo?" Hiruzen wavered in his act and couldn't be confident anymore. "I always knew your soft spot to him was a problem. I should have just killed him."
"D-don't blame only him Yondaime-sama...Naru-kun was just trying to be strong for me. It's my fault. I depended on his strength too much. If you're going to be mad at anyone, be mad at me." Sasuki stepped forward as she spoke. She clearly seemed to be consumed in guilt.
Minato's eyes softened. There was a massive explosion in the distance that shook the ground. The former Kage all looked confused while both Hiruzen and Sasuki were covered in fear. "What was that?" Minato said.
"Whoever it was...I can sense them approaching fast." Tobirama said.
Hashirama nodded "Yes...they're really strong..."
They looked to the sky as deep black clouds consumed the skies and flashes of red lightning went through the clouds. This caused everything to darken and all fighting came to a hault as everyone wanted to know what was happening. Orochimaru had just arrived and paled completely at the change of the environment.
"H-he's broken free...and isn't happy." Hiruzen said.
"That sounds like an understatement there, Saru." Tobirama said.
Suddenly there was a loud thunder and a bolt of red lightning appeared between them all. Once the lightning cleared, there stood Naruto, looking down on Hiruzen and Sasuki who were knocked back from the force of his arrival. He said nothing, only looking at them emotionlessly.
"This the Uchiha? Never seen one with red within their hair. Always only been black." Tobirama said casually.
"H-he's one of a kind..." Sasuki said quietly, nervous of what Naruto would do.
Naruto slowly looked over his right shoulder and saw both Tobirama and Hashirama. They saw his Eternal Mangekyo and it reflected nothing but his pain and sadness. It was as if he was broken, a shattered mirror, nothing but pieces.
"He's worse than any other I've seen..." Tobirama thought.
Naruto seemed to notice that he was about to do something and disappeared from view and appeared behind Tobirama with his tri-pronged kunai at his throat.
Everyone but Hiruzen and Sasuki's eyes went wide. He was so fast. They couldn't keep up, not even Tobirama who was the fastest of his time. Minato barely kept sight but then again, he wasn't trying to, he was just in shock to see his son. He was in a turmoil of emotions.
"I would kill you now...but I have a feeling it would do nothing. Am I right?" Naruto said showing no emotion, he was just cold and empty as he spoke.
Tobirama nodded. "My Jutsu is complex in terms of releasing it..."
"I see. Good to meet you, Nidaime. Tell me, how much of your former power have you retained in this form?"
"He did an imperfect use of the Jutsu. We're only at 30%"
Naruto nodded. "Still. Legends like you...your 30 is easily far more superior than mosts 100." He pushed Tobirama away and spoke while still looking at Sasuki.
"Orochimaru, what's the plan now?"
"Y-you aren't siding with him...are you?" Sasuki said as she tried to stand before his chakra spiked forcing her back down. He obviously wasn't turning a blind eye to her anymore.
Orochimaru chuckled. "So you were convinced? Good. Well first order of business will be to eliminate Sarutobi-sensei, then the rest of the village." He chuckled again "As you've already got experience in wiping out villages, I trust that you can complete this."
Naruto's eyes shifted over to Hiruzen who gulped and couldn't help but feel like an ant before him. "Why?"
"Because he will-"
"Not you." Naruto tilt his head ever so slightly at Hiruzen. He began to walk over to him and to be sure that Tobirama and Hashirama didn't interfere, a black aura surrounded Naruto and two skeletal arms grabbed hold of the two. "You gave the order, why? You lied to me, why? You let so much happen and did nothing, why?"
Naruto grabbed Hiruzen by the throat and lift him up and pushed him against the wall behind him. Holding him in place, he looked deeper into Hiruzen's eyes.
"N-Naru-kun...enough." She tried to reach over at him but he turned quickly at her and with his free left hand, grabbed her by the throat, forcing her into the wall as well. "P-please."
Minato noticed that things were getting bad and to this point, wasn't affected by anything. To this point, he hadn't been noticed. Deciding to step in, he came forward and placed a hand on Naruto's shoulder.
"How about we take it easy for a moment. What do you think?"
Naruto looked over to his left where the voice came from and the glare with an emotionless face broke down. In it's place was brief moment of excitement and a glimmer of happiness, before it faded to seriousness.
"How are you here?"
"I'm not quite sure, but I'm glad to see you, my son."
"Father..." He dropped Hiruzen and gently let go of Sasuki. A difference that she, Hiruzen, and everyone else noticed. They thought that maybe, all wasn't lost. He looked down into his hands and began shaking. "W-what have I done?" He grabbed his head as it became excruciating.
"Easy there. You've been through a lot."
Naruto nodded slowly and looked back at everyone. He looked at Sasuki and she noticed that the anger was gone, just sadness and regret. He looked at the two Kage he held with his Susanoo and released them. "Before we continue, let me break his hold on you all."
They all looked confused and before they knew it, the three Kage seemed to stumble slightly and shake their heads at the same time. At that same point, Naruto's right eye closed.
"What did you do? Only the caster of the reanimation should be able to effect us." Tobirama said.
"Kotoamatsukami is a Genjutsu that allows me to alter minds without the victim knowing. There's other things I could do with it, but that's pretty much what I did to you guys."
"You have Shisui's Genjutsu? How?"
"I have his eyes, Father. Part of his final gift to me."
"So...whose side are you on?" Tobirama said.
He looked at Sasuki and gave a really weak and apologetic smile. "Where my light is."
Orochimaru seethed his teeth. Things were going just fine a moment ago. Perhaps bringing back Minato was a mistake. Had he not done so, Hiruzen would be dead, Sasuki...out of the way. And the village destroyed. But no, Minato had to ruin things. What did he even do? Something changed Naruto's mind and it wasn't just seeing Minato...Minato had to have done something.
There was so much that was unknown with Minato and his abilities. He was a genius in every sense of the word. Naruto may surpass his father in power, but the level of genius isn't like Minato's. He knew things that no one else did. Was the one to take the most complex Jutsu ever made, and make it better. Naruto had power but as of right now, Minato still held more genius.
This very fact was biting Orochimaru. As he was nothing compared to the Yondaime Hokage. For him to have even been in the same conversation for potential Yondaime as Minato was a joke.
Naruto turned to Orochimaru and an emotionless face came on. "You tried to use my father..." In the blink of an eye, he appeared in the face of Orochimaru and kicked him in the chest, collapsing a lung.
He threw a kunai at Orochimaru who immediately threw one of his own to intercept it halfway but it was then revealed to be a massive fireball. Orochimaru's eyes widened at the realization of the Genjutsu and went through handsigns and slammed his hands onto the ground as a mud wall came up.
He sighed when it worked but the moment was short lived as the wall was obliterated and a big spinning orb of blue chakra came at his face. "This brat is truly war incarnate..."
Orochimaru was sent flying from the Rasengan and was forced into the defensive again as Naruto appeared in a blur and slashed at him. He dodged narrowly and sighed thinking he could keep up and find an opening.
Naruto seemingly reading his mind laughed. "You think you stand a chance? I'm merely playing around."
Just then Naruto disappeared and then reappeared in the same spot. Orochimaru was confused before screaming in agony. A seal was placed on him and was spreading. "W-what are you d-doing?"
"Destroying your chakra network. There will be no healing it. I'm giving you a fate worse than death Orochimaru. You so desperately wanted immortality to become all powerful...no you will forever be weaker than everyone in the world for the remainder of your pitiful life."
Orochimaru tried desperately to do something to stop the seal. Nothing he did worked. Since it started on his chest, he couldn't just cut off the area of effect. Had it originated on an arm, he could have cut it off and when he swapped bodies later on, he'd be back to normal...this wouldn't be the case.
Naruto grabbed Orochimaru and Shunshined back to everyone. They looked shocked at what they were seeing and when he explained what was happening, they couldn't help but smile at his method to rid Orochimaru...but now there was an issue that would need to be dealt with later.
"There is one last thing I need to do. Sasuki-chan...I will be using a lot of chakra and may fall unconscious. This is my first time using this Jutsu and will use it on every Iwa nin and nin that Orochimaru brought."
"What are you planning? You can't possibly kill them all in an instant...can you?"
Naruto chuckled "No. Not even I can do that I a single blow. I'm just going to give our shinobi the edge they need."
Without saying another word, he leapt to the top of Hokage tower and they watched him build his chakra. The build up garnered the attention of everyone and he took a deep breath before opening his left eye.
"Kotoamatsukami: Zankō" Naruto said and his Eternal Mangekyo within his left eye glowed brightly. Everyone that was being effected saw as a projection of his EMS appeared behind him and glowed immensely. They all of a sudden couldn't see well and got very confused, unable to move properly.
His left eye shut like the right and he began to collapse. Minato caught him before his knees hit the ground. He noticed that what Naruto did, made the tide change and allowed Konoha to gain the advantage and take out the invaders. A smile came across his face and he looked at Naruto with pride.
"So Minato...what did you do?" Hiruzen said as he came to them. At the same time, Hashirama, Tobirama, and Sasuki came as well.
Minato just smiled.
Hey y'all, took long, sorry. Bought a gaming laptop...kinda been having fun, you know? Also I might start writing through that, typing on a laptop is faster than the phone and my phone be acting up at times...causing errors. Autocorrect...oh well, anyways it's just an idea and I haven't decided yet.
So what I mean by the next phase is that it will be technically Shippuden. There will be a time skip.
Naruto hasn't done a complete 180. More explanation will come later.
Hope y'all enjoyed, see you in the next one.
