With Diamond Tiara I planned to make her a bit more bratty but that takes a lot of work to try and sound stuck up. No need to apologize for something like that, I know that when you learn another language that it isn't easy, when I was in HS I took Japanese but failed, so I know that struggle that comes with learning and speaking a language that isn't your primary. Filler: takes place after discord is sealed away by the elements. The mane six as well as a few others will all be close in age and height consisting of Twilight age 19 5'7, Rarity age 21 5'6, Rainbow Dash age 18 5'5, AppleJack age 20 5'9, Pinkie Pie age 19 5'4, and Fluttershy age 22 5'7, Gilda age 19 5'8, Silver age 220 6'8, Spitfire age 23 5'9.

Chapter 16: The Addition

*Recap*

"Hey Flutter me and the others were planning to go to the Winter Wrap-up lake and we decided to see if you and the rest of the group wanted to come along" Silver said as he looked kindly to the mare.

"Oh um sure that sounds lovely" Fluttershy said as she looked nervously at the stallion at her door.

"Alright i will let you grab a towel and anything else you might need and see you at the lake" Silver said as he gave her a small smile which caused her to blush as she nodded and squeaked out a quieter "see you there".

With his task done Silver started to make his way to the lake, on his way he remembered the rabbit on his back but noticed he wasn't there anymore and figured he got off as he was talking to Fluttershy. Nearing his destination he noticed that Spitfire Rainbow Dash and Gilda were all sitting near the grassy area a few feet before it went into the lake. Setting down his towel as he laid down while the group chatted while they waited for the others to get here after learning that all the others agreed to join.

*Present*

With the group chatting as they waited for the others they had invited, which didn't take long for them to start arriving, the first being Twilight and Spike, shortly after they arrived Applejack and Fluttershy arrived and joined the rest of the group. It was a good 5 minutes later when Pinkie Pie showed up with various different items you would find at the beach. It didn't take them long of a wait until the final pony they were waiting for showed up which just so happened to be Rarity.

As soon as Rarity caught sight of the stallion she was wanting to be with she went over to him and tried to grab him in a hug, key work tried Silver being a trained assassin knew that she was coming up behind him but he would have been able to know she was coming even if he wasn't an assassin seeing as she was not the quietest pony.

"Hey Silver Darling, have you been thinking about me?" Rarity said as she attempted to hug him but not catching him off guard.

"No" Silver said plainly as he landed near Rain as she was slightly shaking her head as she was not sure how the mare hadn't realized she wasn't getting anywhere with her stallion.

With Rarity pouting at the fact she was once again rejected eventually got over it as she joined the other ponies laying on the shore. Once every pony placed their items down as they made their way to the water's edge. At first no pony went into the water since they were not sure how the water would be and before any of them could test the water Silver with Ruby on his back simply started to walk into the water. Making his way to where the water was barely touching his lower chest he looked to the larger group.

"Water seems fine to me," Silver said to the group as they all started to make their way into the water.

"The water is nice and warm yet still cooling to the day's heat" Rain said as she made her way to the stallion, which caused the water to be almost at the base of her neck.

After Silver tested out the water he made his way over to the shore to where it was shallow in order to let Ruby have fun in the water as well. When he made it to the shallow portion of the lake Silver laid down allowing Ruby to get into the water at her own pace. It was a good couple of minutes when the baby dragon eventually made her way off of the stallion and to the water.

When she was fully in the water he was glad that he came to this area seeing as the water reached Ruby's mid torso, as he was watching the little dragon play in the water as she giggled while splashing in various different directions he felt the ripples that told him a pony was coming to where they were. Looking towards the direction that the ripples were coming from he saw that Fluttershy was making her way to where they were, giving her a small smile as she got closer.

"How come you are over here instead of with the others" Fluttershy asked as she looked to the stallion but since he was in the shallows and with his height he blocked her line of sight from Ruby.

"Making sure Ruby is safe while having fun" Silver said as he looked back towards the little dragon who was still splashing around.

Seeing the stallion looking at something on the other side of him Fluttershy timidly moves closer in order to get a better look at what he was talking about. When she was a few feet away from the stallion she was able to see what was holding his attention, there in front of her was a baby dragon who was happily playing in the water. Ruby seeing the new pony hid behind the larger stallion while she occasionally peaked over his side as to see the other pony.

"It's alright Ruby she won't hurt you" Silver said after he chuckled at the action the dragon took while trying to reassure the little dragon.

Seeing as the little dragon was still being cautious of her, Fluttershy laid down where she was and currently had a small blush on her face seeing as she was a lot closer to the stallion then she had originally thought. Ruby looked at Silver as he gave her a small nod indicating that the mare was a friend. She slowly started to make her way in between the two ponies as she looked over the yellow coated mare before she eventually realized that Silver was right seeing as the mare only looked at her with a kind yet shy smile. When she was sure that the mare meant no harm she continued to play in the water as she occasionally splashed the ponies which caused them to laugh as they gave a small splash back.

Time Skip: 1 ½ hours later 3 pm

As the group was enjoying the relaxing time they spent at the lake, it began to get later and the sun was no longer intense. They started to make their way to the shore in order to get their towels and dry off, with the large group all on the shore line as they dried off as well as laughed at the events of the day as they relaxed. After they were all dried off the group slowly started to shrink, Rainbow Dash seeing that it was down to her, Silver, Ruby, Spitfire, Gilda, and Fluttershy got an idea in her head as she walked over to Fluttershy to run her plan through her friend seeing as she knew the mare had feelings for the stallion.

*Flashback*

Rainbow Dash was making her way to her long time friend Fluttershy's house to catch up with the mare seeing as they have been busy with their respective duties. When the mare's house was within sight this caused Rainbow Dash to make her way there at a slightly quicker pace, when she reached the door and was about to knock she heard the mare she was there to hang out with speak.

"Angel, what should I do?, I'm starting to fall for this stallion because of how kind and approachable he is. But I know that he is with Rainbow Dash and I don't want to intrude on their happiness, maybe this will eventually go away" Fluttershy said to her rabbit friend as she paced around her living room.

When Rain heard her friend say she was starting to fall for some pony she began to think of who it might be, but the words her friend said told her who it was seeing as she was seeing the stallion in question. Hearing the part where she was willing to push aside her feelings in order to keep her happy made a small smile that turned into a frown as her friend continued to talk.

"I know that you approve of him angel seeing as you never sleep on another pony, especially any stallion's, yet you have napped on his back multiple times and that makes me want to try to see where things could go as well as the fact that I feel so comfortable around him. I don't know what I should do?" Fluttershy asked out loud as she continued to pace.

Suddenly a knock at her front door made her freeze in her place as she hoped that whoever was at her door didn't hear what she was talking about. After making her way to the door she opens it to see the one pony she really wished hadn't heard her. Greeting her friend as she attempted to act normally so to not cause any suspicion in case her friend didn't hear her.

"Hey Rainbow Dash." Fluttershy said as she greeted her friend as she was mentally sweating as she was trying to figure out if her friend had heard her or not.

"Hey Shy mind if I come in?" Rain asked as she looked at her friend who nodded as she stepped aside to let the mare in.

"Not that I mind but what brings you out here?" Fluttershy quietly said to her friend as she entered her home.

"I decided to stop by seeing as we haven't been able to hang out much recently" Rain said as they made their way into her living room. Once the pair were situated on the couch Rainbow Dash decided to bring up the topic of what she heard before she knocked on the door.

"Hey Shy, if you like Silver you should tell him I know you aren't the type of pony who would think about using another or attempt at a one nighter" Rainbow Dash said as her friend froze at her friends words as she started to stutter.

"What are you talking about Rainbow Dash, aren't the two of you together?" Fluttershy said as she saw her friend nod as she continued "i don't think I can make an attempt at him if he is with you, I mean how will he react to a mare like me telling him I like him a lot?" Fluttershy finished off her train of thought as she quietly muttered the part about liking him.

"I don't think that he will mind since he is open minded about Polygamy and seeing as that he is with me and is getting there with Gilda and Spitfire" Rainbow Dash said as she looked at her friend who was currently imitating a fish as she was having difficulties to come to terms with what the colorful mare said.

"But why are you telling me that I should inform him that I like him?" Fluttershy said as she looked from her friend to the couch they were currently sitting on.

"That's easy, I know you care about him and want to be with him and with how you are you won't try to use him for the things I said earlier and that one of his conditions are to get along with the others that are in the relationship, seeing as you get along with practically every pony that isn't an issue" Rainbow Dash said as her friend slowly nodded at what she was saying.

"Okay I guess I will try" Fluttershy said as she wasn't too sure about this but agreed nonetheless.

*Flashback end*

After running the plan through her friend and giving her reassurance by telling her what Gilda said to her when she was in the same situation, "follow what your heart tells you and don't pay attention to the negative thoughts in your head". With the words still in her mind she agreed to her friend's plan, with her agreement she saw that Rainbow Dash made her way over to the stallion in order to put it into motion.

"Hey Sil, I can take Ruby back to the house if you wanted to walk Fluttershy back home seeing as it's Shy we are talking about" Rain said as they gave a glance to the mare they were referring to and saw that she was frantically looking around at the various sounds that came from around the area.

"Alright, when I get back I can start on getting dinner ready seeing as it is closing in on that time" Silver said as he looked at the mare while he levitated the sleeping dragon onto Rain's back. Giving Rain a quick kiss to which she returned, Silver made his way over to the more timid mare as he offered to walk her home.

As the two began to make their way to the mare's house, while they walked they quietly talked about how they enjoyed the day and then about various things seeing as the conversation continued to change subject as they walked, not that they minded as they gave the occasional chuckle from Silver and giggle from Fluttershy.

When they made it to her house the sun was hiding behind the trees while only letting a few of its rays through the dense forest. As they stopped a few feet from the door Fluttershy was currently standing in one of the rays as she looked at the ground before she spoke, getting the stallion's attention.

"Um Silver, I have to tell you something," Fluttershy said as she looked at the ground when she spoke, missing the reaction the stallion had when he looked to the mare.

Looking at the mare his words caught in his throat as he looked upon the mare who had spoken. As he looked at Fluttershy he couldn't help but admire the way the sun's rays made it seem that she was glowing as her mane was slightly shifting with the wind making it go from a bright pink to a translucent pink towards the ends. As he was lost at the sight in front of him, he failed to realize that he walked closer to her until they were only about a foot apart.

When she didn't hear a response from the stallion she looked up as a blush was staining her features as she realized how close they were, her heart was beating faster as she remembered what her friend had said and decided that it was now or never. When she looked up to the stallion in order to tell him how she felt she forgot about the close proximity and when she looked up it caused their lips to meet in a gentle embrace that seemed to shake the stallion from his trance as he broke the unintentional kiss as he took a couple steps back.

"I'm sorry I was not expecting th-" Silver started to say but was interrupted by the mare kissing him once again this time intentionally, as the kiss went on a light blush appeared on his face as hers seemed to darken. The kiss only lasted half a minute and when it was over Fluttershy rests her head on his chest as she begins to speak to the stallion finding the courage to tell him how she felt.

"I like you more than a friend and was originally going to push the feelings away when I knew you were with Rainbow Dash but as I was voicing my thoughts to Angel when she came to my house and after a little told me that I should follow the feelings I have for you" Fluttershy said quietly but loud enough for the stallion to hear as she rested her head on his chest while enjoying the sound of his heart beat.

"I like you very much and want to expand those feelings to become something more in the future" Fluttershy finished as she took her head off the stallion's chest as she looked at him awaiting a response. The response he gave wasn't vocal at first as he gave her a light kiss that made her give a slight squeak as she wasn't expecting that, but when the kiss ended he looked into her eyes as he spoke, "since you are being honest I might as well, I started to realize that I had feelings for you after the few encounters we had when I returned Angel and when we would occasionally bump into each other. I find your kind yet timid nature attractive and couldn't stop myself from feeling something more for you" Silver said as they looked into each other's eyes a moderate cyan blue meeting crimson red.

Upon hearing the words that she just heard the stallion say and couldn't help but smile at hearing that he accepted her feelings while returning them as well. As the next 5 minutes went by with the pair still looking into the eyes of the pony across from them, they were soon broken from their gaze as they began to hear a small thumping sound. The two ponies looking in the direction the thumping was coming from they see that Angel was standing near the doorway repeatedly thumping his left foot impatiently.

"Oh goodness I didn't realize what time it was. I need to feed the animals, today was nice. I hope we can do it again sometime" Fluttershy said as she looked from the bunny to the stallion as her voice was going to normal with a small blush on her face.

"Yea it was fun, and we will most definitely do something like this again" Silver said as he chuckled at the rabbits actions while looking at the mare.

As they bid each other a goodnight Fluttershy once again found her courage as she gave the stallion a kiss on his cheek as her blush intensified, when she pulled away she bid him another goodnight as she was starting to stutter before she heading inside as the small bunnies foot thumping was slowly intensifying. When Fluttershy closed her door Silver started to make his way home as he began to think of what he should make for dinner.

Once he made it home he was able to hear the sounds of talking as he neared his door, after entering his house he came to the scene of Rain, Gilda, and Spitfire were all chatting as Ruby was sitting on the couch. Hearing the door open then close shortly after they saw the stallion of their affection as they greeted him while Ran decided to add a little bit more.

"Hey Silver what took you so long?" Rain asked as she looked in the direction the stallion would be coming from.

"Hey ladies, and not much, just walked Flutter home and she revealed that she had feelings for me" Silver said as he started to make his way to the kitchen in order to prepare dinner.

"Ooo are you planning to start your own herd Silver" Spitfire said teasingly as the stallion just passed the doorway to the kitchen.

"Depends if the number we are currently at/ will be once the relationships further can be considered a herd" Silver said from inside of the kitchen as he prepared dinner for the smaller group.

"If it is a herd it will be a small one, unless you decide to add more to it" Rain said to the stallion that was in the other room.

"Only time will tell whether it grows or not," Silver said to the mares and griffon who were in the other room.

It was a good 10 minutes before he finished preparing dinner which consisted of some hay burgers, with sliced apples and a side dish of fried carrots and some apple cider. Once the meal was complete Silver started to put enough on the plates in order to where everyone got the same amount and started to levitate them to table, when he entered the dining hall area he was surprised to see that they were already in their seats waiting for the meal to arrive.

As he placed the plates down in front of the 4 that were sitting at the table to his surprise though he noticed that Gilda was the chosen one to assist Ruby in seeing over the table which caused the stallion to smile at the sight before he began to get an idea to tease the three that were so close to him already.

"My, my, my, don't tell me you were that impatient for my cooking that you couldn't wait for me to say it was ready yet" Silver said as he gauged the reactions that spread across the occupants of the table. Rain was the first to gain a small blush at the open tease that came from the stallion then came Spitfire to lightly blush and finally it was Gilda's turn to have a more prominent blush appear on her white feathers.

"Hey it isn't our fault that you look like a dark coated Adonis and it doesn't help that you cook like one as well" Rain said as she looked to the stallion while he was taking his seat but smirked as she saw him freeze momentarily before a light pink tinge marred his midnight black coat.

"I'm in agreement with Rain on this one, I can't really think of anything that could make you more appealing" Gilda said as she turned her attention to the one she was talking about.

"I'm sure I can think of one thing a stallion takes pride in but whether it is accurate, I'm not sure seeing as you nor RD will talk about it" Spitfire said as she gave a wink to the stallion who was sitting next to her, at her words it caused the previously spoke Rain and Gilda to have a blush one by the memories and the other lost in thought as to the topic.

With the change of topic the group began to eat their meals as they started to idly talk about the events that occurred earlier in the day. During the talk the group would occasionally laugh at what was said while it was mostly about the rejection they witnessed and the fact that the mare hadn't given up yet. One thing they agreed on was that while they were all stubborn and determined on certain things they all shared in one thing and that was that they would have given up after getting rejected that many times, but it seemed that was where the mare that was the topic seemed to be stubborn. When dinner over with the dishes now in the sink the group made their way over to the living room to continue talking as it was still early and that Spitfire was going to be leaving again in order to continue getting Angel Wings ready to take her place as the Captain.

"So Fire what made you choose Angel Wings as your replacement?" Rain asked as she looked to her idol/friend.

"Hm lets see she is timid but respectful to those above her, not a pushover to her piers, motivates others to go beyond what they thought was their best and to never give up on something they wanted to achieve, she is climbing the ranks most would assume impossible but I can see that she has the potential to become better then I was" Spitfire said as she closed her eyes and took on a thinking pose as she talked about the trainee.

"Was she always like that?" Gilda asked as she was now a bit more interested in her new friend's replacement.

"Far from it actually when she first joined she reminds me of your friend Fluttershy, but even ponyville's quiet resident expresses herself more than Angel did, but over time she became the mare that i can safely say i am proud to have trained as her hard work was not without any gain and it was visibly to those who knew her before the change" Spitfire said as she smiled at the memory of how the mare used to be to the mare she now sees as her equal.

After the conversation once again shifted topics, it was suddenly brought to a skidding halt as the group was in shock over what they heard as well as from who said it. The conversation was stopped by none other than by Ruby herself as she said "papa" before she began to lovingly hug the stallion's neck. That one single word seemed to freeze the group in place as they all stared at the small dragon who had just called the stallion papa.

Eventually the silence was broken as they heard a deep yet light chuckle coming from none other than the stallion himself before it was his turn to surprise the group "if that is what you wish to call me then I have no issue with it little Ruby" Silver said as he chuckled at the little dragon who seemed to hug him tighter as if indicating she was happy that he accepted the title she had given him.

With the little dragon still hugging his neck he looked to see the faces of the three in the room who heard what Ruby called them, as he looked at the three he wasn't surprised to see them as surprised as he was when she said that word but started chuckling again as they all looked at the source of the small innocent voice they all heard. It was a good 10 minutes until the group finally was starting to snap out of their shocked states, when the three were all back they looked in between each other before the silence was once again broken.

"Did we all hear Ruby call Silver papa?" Rainbow Dash said as she looked to her friends/herd sisters as she saw them both nod at her.

"That we did, at first I was thinking I was imagining it but since you both heard it as well I guess that scratches out that idea" Gilda said as she was still surprised at what had just been stated.

"Is it normal for a baby dragon to talk this early Silver?" Spitfire asked as she looked to the stallion she directed her question to.

"Hm while it is uncommon there have been incidents like this previously from the knowledge I gained from Kokuen, since she waited for a while for the one that would make her hatch from what I can tell is that while her body is that of a similar size to Spike's she still has the mental state of an infant so her vocabulary will be small" Silver said as he filtered through the vast knowledge the elder dragon had given him.

"Okay while I can understand that what I don't understand is how she came to know the word papa?" Rain said as she began to think over where she might have heard the word.

"She heard it the other day as we were walking from the library after I talked with Twilight about teaching her, we passed a family and the young colt saw something he wanted and gained his father's attention" Silver said as he looked from the group to Ruby who was now laying down as she fell asleep while hugging him.

With the group seeing that it was becoming late they gave Silver a small kiss and a hug to Spitfire before they left the house in order to return to theirs so they could get some rest for what they would need to do tomorrow. After Rainbow Dash and Gilda had left the house as Silver and Spitfire began to walk back to the bedroom in order to join Ruby in the peaceful embrace that came with sleep. Once Silver had managed to unlatch the baby dragon's arms without waking her, he gently placed her in bed before he covered her with the blanket that she snuggled into.

Now that his neck was free Silver tilted it from side to side gaining a few pops when it was turned in each direction which gained an odd stare from the mare "that was just weird and sounded painful" Spitfire said after the stallion was finished and began to make his way to the bed in order to join her. Now laying in the bed the stallion once again found his neck was occupied but this time by the mare that he would share a bed with for the night.

As the two laid in bed Spitfire got it in her head to tease the stallion as she was recalling the dream she had the other night. With the dream coming back to her she began to gently kiss the stallion on his chest and neck which she received a small groan for her efforts. Looking at the mare who seemed to know what to do in order to get a reaction from him, before he could question her the honey scent from this morning was returning.

"I'm ready to be with you in that way Silver, I love you as I know you love me and I want us to be one even for the night" Spitfire said as she looked into his eyes with a pleading look in her eyes that told him she was telling the truth and was in fact ready to further their relationship. Without responding Silver connected his lips to the mares, as they kissed she started to move more on top of the stallion in order to straddle his waist.
