Spring-ish Break
"so what's the plan for our week off, you know since Jenna and Becca went to visit my dad for a week" asks Cat
"maybe a week of make-outs and love making you know since legally technically we can't actually travel anywhere fun" scowls Jade
"how about a week of candy boob" giggles Cat as she pulls candy out of her bra
"oh kitty cat I can't say no to bra candy" says Jade as she takes her pieces of licorice as Zoey walks over
"is cat high again because she only ever shares her candy when she's had one of her brownies, her bra candy especially" says Zoey looking for candy
"it's strictly medical Zoe bo, I'm borderline bipolar and my doctor seems to throw around schizophrenia like it's candy and not the good kind" says Cat
"there is nothing borderline about your bipolar disorder kitty bitty and while I can see where he gets the schizophrenia ideas from, I can say with certainty the latter is in no way you" says Lola
"how can you possibly know with certainty that I'm not a skitzo" says Cat as she eats more candy
"because Jenna asked me to check so I listed your behaviours and not one doctor I checked said schizophrenia, OCD, Bipolar and ADHD yes but you are not a skitzo by any means" says Lola as she takes some candy from Cat
"why did she have you check my mental health behind my back" says Cat hurt
"you always put her first, that can lead to mental exhaustion, she wanted to make sure you were ok, you're her role model baby, she wanted to make sure things were ok, she really loves you kitty" says Lola
"like just as a sister right because my mind is going places I really don't want it to, she's my little sister not a girl I love love" says Cat starting to freak out
"I mean yes as a sister but she's admitted she's jealous of what you have" says Lola
"of what I have with who specifically" asks Cat concerned
"more in general she's jealous of how many of us love you, also are you really wearing a tight ass mini skirt, that's so not like you" says Lola
"I took too much edible last week and ended up buying it without thinking, I wanted to look hot, being bipolar I have my highs more than my lows especially now so spur buying happens a lot, some of them I'd rather not say" says Cat sheepishly
"I saw a ring that said marry me girls with six rings, some real some not" says Nicole
"damn I was hoping it was hidden do you hate me for it, I couldn't help it" says Cat biting her lip
"yes" says Zoey as she kisses Cat
"wait yes you hate me orrrrr" asks cat shocked
"I could never hate you baby doll, I'm saying yes to you" says Zoey as Cat drops her mini skirt
"seriously of all the things you could do today not wearing panties Cat is up there with the worst" says Chase
"I had no plan of leaving the unit so why does it matter" says Cat
"ok that's it go put on panties right now missy" says Jade angrily and cat whimpers and goes to put some on
"why yell at her she's probably high as a kite" says Dana
"because it's not right she was probably hoping we'd have sex with her and she knows I had plans for the first day of spring break" says Jade as they hear a loud thud
"and she's barricaded herself in the room, knowing her she won't come out till she's starving which is dangerous" says Zoey
"wait what" asks Jade really concerned now
"ya she's even less stable when she's this high, and knowing her it really wasn't planned, she makes her edibles with a fair amount of chocolate because she hates the taste, unfortunately it has the downside of making her regularly take too much which doesn't help at all" says Zoey
"you've tried it haven't you" asks Tori
"I know at least half of us have, on purpose or otherwise" says Zoey
"oh I've definitely nibbled on a piece or two and wow they're strong but I guess it's medical grade not generic green, it's lemony in flavour, if she doesn't like the flavour she can change it, I looked into it, different flavours help different things, can you guess which thing Lemon helps with" says Tori
"I'm gonna guess schizophrenia" says Dana
"pretty close, schizio-affective disorder of which she fits none of the symptoms for, given her symptoms which flavour do you think she should have" says Tori
"probably Strawberry surprise or Cherry dimple, I'll order it now, she has a card so I'll set that up, someone else can have her lemon edibles, she can't have them now" says Lola as Cat comes slinking out quietly
"d-did I hear something about a change in edible flavour, because I don't like the one I'm on" asks Cat
"your doctor knows you don't do well with lemons, and if his goal was to make you look insane to the public so they'd put you away then he almost succeeded Tori please charge the doctor, until then I'm her doctor and would you prefer Strawberry surprise or Cherry dimple" says Lola
"would they actually help me, because I like both those flavours" asks Cat
"yes they would, they both target different aspects of bipolar disorder which is by far the most prevalent symptoms you express as worded by the doctors I contacted asking about the merits of pot and the different strains so I could advise you better, so I'll order some oil and pot itself for you" says Lola as cat hands her the medical pot card
"what's your view on politics kitty because the governor of California recently used a quote attributed to you specifically and how he is going to change things for the mental heath community, how does he know you're bipolar but it took until recently for us to learn" says Chase
"I don't support any party, he asked around for a critic of how mental health funds had been handled for years and I made a comment not expecting him to reply, and when he did I nearly fainted, I was one of three people he replied to, I explained to him how my education is hard because I have no help or quiet place to work on it during class and that public funds as well fail to help us financially to get up out of the rut that society put us in, under the current rules I'll never be eligible for a job, not even singing, I'll have no way to fund my future" says Cat coming down from the edible high
"did you tell him your family has lots of money" asks Jade
"my uncle does, my parents can barely pay their bills Jade, I told him the system makes it near impossible for my parents to afford my meds or my little sisters meds and that family wealth means nothing when it comes to job viability, I explained that I can't apply for social assistance without paying for an insurance plan and I can't afford an insurance plan if I don't have a job and I can't get a job without a college/university degree or diploma and I can't get into college or university because my grades aren't great because I don't have social assistance help. I told him everything has a cost and that society has dug us a hole so deep it makes it impossible to live on our own, I also sent him a video clip of me and jenna singing from last year and said we can sing all we want but under the current rules the world will never hear them" says Cat
"wow that was really seriously deep, how do you know he'll keep that promise" says Chase
"he asked me that question and my response that the mental health community is a very depressed and hurt community, that people make fun of us all the time and he made a promise to make our lives better and we will fight our way to him to get justice if he breaks that promise" says Cat
"did he like the singing video" asks Dana
"he was very impressed by Jenna's ability to project her voice and that he wished he had kids like us, willing to fight for our rights, he also said he wishes he could hive us a hug" says Cat
"so you really buying rings, we're not even of age, why risk humiliation, we'd need parental approval anyway and there is no way you could marry us all" asks Chase
"logically Chase that's your problem to solve not mine, we'd all be married to you not each other, not legally, Tori and I belong to the open church of God, it's been around for at least ten years, realistically if you were to join under that church it would be possible to marry us all but you'd be at your absolute limit on wives, besides I never actually said I wanted a wedding yet, I'd want at least a year as your girlfriend first" says Cat
"hmm Zoe's mom belongs to that church, it's how my mom married her, gay weddings aren't well received by society or the church in general yet even though it is legal in Cali now, I guess I never thought about religious marriage like that before, it's a way to get around the evils of society and their hatred of polygamous families I guess, but you said you weren't religious, how can you be part of a church and not be religious" says Chase
"I can believe in the existence of a God and not be religious, though I definitely am but I don't want people knowing because then they're gonna ask for specifics and the church my parents used to belong to was known for extreme views and that's why my parents left it but it's still tied to our culture as Italians so if I tell people I'm a religious Italian American people will just assume I'm part of that church and make fun of me without knowing I'm not part of that specific church" says Cat
"is that church really that tied to Italians that people would make fun of you that quickly if you told them you were a religious Italian American" asks Jade
"you know what Italian city I was born in Jade you know the stereotype of that community" says Cat
"just because lots of people from the community you're from were either racist, super Catholics or resorting to selling their bodies doesn't mean it defines you" says Jade
"it's why we moved to America when I was one, my parents didn't want me go grow up to be a garden tool, also under the current laws I'd never be able to vote" says Cat
"do your parents know about all of us and how much we love you" asks Nicole
"yes they know and while they don't understand why they said that as long as everyone makes me happy they'd give me their blessing to get engaged" says Cat
"do they know about your doctor giving you the wrong strain of pot" asks Tori
"no but I know they told him specifically no lemon flavours because they recorded the call where they told him, mainly so they could show me they understood my issue with lemons and lemon flavoured things, they're gonna be so brownie pissed when they find out he lied to them" says Cat
"why brownie pissed" asks Jade
"it's more fun and creative than fudging because it's a lot easier to take the jump between fudging and the bad word, this way it could mean anything bad" says Cat
