Jasper is so interesting to write. This time, Ruth wrote a break up one shot. Please review and just know we don't own anything.
"I don't remember us fighting or there being a reason to why we broke up. So, what happened?" Jason asks.
Piper looks at him, regretting the decision of coming to the store. She just came to get groceries and here she is. Confronting her ex.
"I told you." She tells him. He scoffs.
"So, you broke it off because you weren't feeling good about yourself?"
"I broke it off because I was lost. I didn't know who I was anymore." She tells him.
"You didn't think that you could do that with me? I could've helped you." He tells her, his voice raising. Some shoppers look at the two.
"Not here Jason." Piper hisses, taking her cart and walking around him.
Jason follows her. "Seriously, Piper."
"Jason, it was hurting me, okay? I was hurting inside." She told him, turning around.
"Did it ever occur to you that you were hurting me?" He asks. "You weren't even touching me. Instead of letting me know what was going on, you broke up with me."
Tears brim Piper's eyes. "Well, I'm sorry I made you feel that way. Look, we can still be friends if you want. You still have my number. But I just need to take the time and find myself."
"I'm tired of being lonely, Piper." Jason tells her.
"So am I. I'll see you around, Jason." She says before turning around and walking to the check out line. She wipes her eyes and wills herself to not break down.
After paying, she grabs her groceries and heads to her car. Only when she's in her car, does she actually cry. After a couple of minutes, she wipes her eyes and drives.
