A/N: Well, this is it, last chapter. I left it open, but as of right now, I don't have any plans to expand this story. But who knows, this Pandemic leaves me a lot of time for my brain to make up fantastical scenarios. I had fun with this one. Thank you to everyone who followed and favorited this story, and to the select few who commented or PM'd love you guys. let's do this!

Tessa looked at the still unconscious, Dr. Harley Quinzel. The hate she felt burned though her. It churned in her stomach. The stomach that still had occasional cramps from the traumatic birth of her child. When she thought of the beautiful experience that had been forever tainted by this woman, the hate morphed to rage.

Joker's arms moved around her waist, his chin resting on her shoulder. "Well, Contessa, whatever will we do now?"

She cut her eyes at his profile. He loved riling her up. "Well, Mr. Napier, this is more your area of expertise, lead the way and I will follow suit."

He moved back from behind her, but not before pinching her on her rear. She laughed. He was in a good mood and so was she, despite her hatred for the good old doc. Joker moved over to the chair, pulling Harley's head back by the hair. He slapped her cheek, hard.

Tessa winced at the sight. She watched Harley's eyes start to open, the blood pooling in her mouth, then spilling from the side.

"Wakey wakey." he said to her.

"What the fuck?" she said, then Tessa saw the moment Harley realized she was standing there.

Harley's eyes squinted, the glare was dark and full of hatred. Tessa recognized it, because she had seen the same look on her own face.

"Not fun waking up, tied up and unable to move huh?" She asked Harley.

"Depends on the company." Harley cut her eyes to Joker.

Tessa hated the woman. She looked to Joker for guidance. Joker nodded his head to the table of goodies. Tessa looked over at the table. She stepped closer and ran her fingers along all of the pretty tools there. So many options, she wasn't sure which to choose.

Joker watched Tessa as she looked at the toys he'd brought. His fingers tingled in anticipation. She had said she'd let him take the lead, but he really wanted to see what she would do on her own. He let Harley talk, let the doc rile Tessa up and get her to the head space she would need to exact her revenge.

He watched as Tessa grabbed a knife, a long thin blade. He raised his eyebrow, curious to see what she would do first. She turned to Harley and gripped her shirt. She slid the blade underneath and cut through the fabric like butter.

Joker watched as Tessa slid the fabric from the doc's shoulders and heard the gasp. He looked at Harley and his eyes narrowed. On her chest, in almost the exact spot was a carved 'J' like he had given Tessa so long ago. This one looked, off, too neat, too clean.

He looked at his girl, her face was blank, almost calm looking.

She blinked, a long slow blink then smiled. "Where did you get that?" she pointed at the scar with the knife she held.

Harley's eyes cut to Joker, then back to Tessa. "That's none of your business."

Tessa smiled again, then moved with soft steps to stand in front of Harley. Tessa wasn't stupid, she knew Joker would never gift the bitch with the same mark he'd given her. Joker watched as she laid the blade flat against the scar, pushing the tip into the smooth part of Harley's chest. His hands clenched and released as he watched her drag the blade along the flesh. The blood broke free and fell down onto the ropes that held her.

Harley bit back the screams, as Tessa carved the letter out of her skin, slice by slice. Once that small area of flesh was destroyed, Tessa moved back, tossing the bloody knife onto the table. Joker had never seen anything as amazing as the fall of his girl.

Her eyes scanned the table again and picked up a much shorter blade. Oh, he was feeling down right giddy at the sight of her, her hands already bloody and her face serious in concentration. It was the most erotic thing he'd ever seen.

She walked around the doc and put little cuts all over her, randomly it seemed. Joker watched the small rivulets of blood slid down and onto the floor. A flash of light caught his attention. Joker moved to the window and laughed.

"Oh, sweets, we have company. A big black bat just rode by on a bike." Joker nearly skipped back to Tessa's side. Could this night get any better? "If you want to kill her, I'd do it quick." He kissed Tessa's cheek.

Tessa was feeling conflicted. Bruce was here, he would see her like this. She frowned, before she could make a decision, the door was kicked open. She turned and there he was Batman, just as tall and menacing as he was last time she had seen him in the costume.

Joker spoke first, breaking the tense atmosphere. "Oh, Bats, so nice of you to join us."

"Joker, give me Dr. Quinzel and I will give you and Tessa a head start before I pursue you."

Joker looked over at Tessa, she was looking at Batman.

She couldn't take her eyes off of him. He would pursue them? Bruce knew everything now and he was on Harley's side? That would not do. She gripped the small bloody knife in her hand. She swung the knife around and jabbed Harley in the side.

A lot of things happened all at once. Harley screamed, a loud inhuman scream. Tessa almost moved her hands to cover her ears. But her shirt was suddenly wet. She looked down and realized her breasts were leaking. She covered them instead.

Batman lunged forward, Tessa assumed to tackle her, but Joker rammed into him, knocking the big black blur off course. Batman landed on the old mattress. Joker was cackling. Tessa moved to finish Harley, but Bruce had moved fast. He gad a grip on her hair and an arm around her waist.

"Batsy, I didn't peg you for someone to take a hostage." Joker said.

Tessa tried to get free, but Bruce was really holding her. Her scalp burned as she tried to pull free of him.

"I am not taking a hostage, I am making sure you two leave, I will take Harley in to the GCPD and let you two have a head start, but I will come for you two."

Tessa could not believe the words he was saying, how he was talking to Joker like he was in charge of her? She would show Bruce she didn't need him, or Joker. She reached back into her back pocket and slid the knife she'd just gotten back free. Her thumb flicked the safety latch off and pressed the button.

Joker must have seen the movement, he smiled at her just before she buried the blade in Bruce's side. He released her instantly, and she pulled the blade free, not wanting to lose it again. She moved away from Bruce and leaned down next to Harley.

"This isn't over." She whispered to her.

Tessa hurried over to Joker. He pulled her into his arms and kissed her. She let him. He pulled back and grabbed her hand, pulling them both through the ruined doorway.

"Let's go home." he said as they slid into his car.

She watched the building, Bruce would be busy helping himself and Harley, he wouldn't follow. "Let's go to your place. Can your guy bring Vincent over?"

He looked at her and drove. It only took a few minutes to get there, he parked the car under the awning covered area, making sure it couldn't be seen by a passing car. They made their way inside.

"Make the call, I'm going to shower."

Joker watched her go up the stairs and into his room. He made that call and pulled the SIM cards from both phones. He left the building, taking a walk down to the edge of the water, tossing both phones and cards into the cold water. His mind was on Tessa as he walked back to the warehouse. His guy pulled up, handing over the small squirming bundle. Joker took the baby inside and moved back to the bedroom. She was there, in her towel, hair wet against her skin. She looked beautiful. God, he would burn this city to the ground for her.
