Everyone who was still seated stood up and clapped. Slowly, everyone joined. A few people still had tears in their eyes as they joined in.
With the level 5s
Kakine Teitoku was silent. He was too silent. Well, so were the other level 5s.
Dark matter was holding back his tears as he remembered his life. And... Ringo... No matter. He could not show his weaknesses in front of others. He would cry for her. He always did. But only once he gets back home.
With mental out. She was wearing a strained smile. Shokukou could understand. She lost her prince. And she had once lost a friend too.
Meltdowner wanted to scream. She wanted to scream out her frustration. She remembered things she would rather forgot. Like how she had killed a comrade...
"Damn it! Goddammit." a certain Railgun cursed.
She didn't come here to feel. She came here so she could prevent this monster from whatever plans he had. Now things about him that she didn't know was revealed. Things she didn't want to know. She didn't want to understand him. She just wanted to view him as a monster that killed people for fun. That killed her sisters.
She wanted to pin all the blame on him.
She didn't want to feel what she was feeling now.
Guilt.
She quickly ran away. To find something. To find someone. Someone who could lessen her guilt. Someone who could explain.

Someone she could put the blame on.
Due to her outburst, no one noticed the missing number 7.
Back at the stage.
Touma gave his speech of appreciation as he made a few jokes.
Afterwards he went backstage where he could see Accelerator waiting for him.
"Well, things went better than I expected eh?"
"Tch... Of course it did. You were working with me. No matter how bad you were, I would have been able to make it better."
Translated to "I would have helped you."
Touma smiled before he saw someone run towards them.
Was that Misaka?
"Oh hey, biri biri," he smiled at her.
She ran past him.
Towards Accelerator?
Oh, so thats how it is.
He smiled with strain before gaping.
Biri biri attacked the unexpecting Accelerator.
"Woah, woah, stop right there!"
He tried to pull Mikoto away from Accelerator. But before he could. She was able to land a few punches on him.
"Let me go!" she screeched.
She kicked him in his uh... You know.
He groaned in pain as he lied on the ground. Oh no, his family jewels.
Accelerator tried to turn on his choker but Railgun used her electricity to stun him then she started walking towards him.
A little girl ran past her and infront of Accelerator. She held out her arms protectively before she cried.
"Stop hitting papa... He didn't do anything yet!"
Misaka stopped for a bit as her eyes widened. This monster has a child?!
"Don't hurt him. If you want to, then, then, you will have to get past me!"
She said shaking but with clear determination.
She was soon followed by two others.
"Onee-sama don't hurt Accelerator! Misaka Misaka begs her elder sister."
"You should not attack someone like that, short hair! Mr. Angel can't even defend himself! Don't you think that's enough!"
They were like a wall between her and her goal.
Frustrated she screamed at him.
"Angel my foot! That's a monster! A killer! You don't understand!"
She turned towards Last order.
"You know what he did! So why are you defending him?!"
Last order screams back.
"Because he changed! He has been taking care of Misaka this entire time! And he didn't even want to do the experiment anyway! He was forced to! Do you even know how he got injured?! He saved the Misakas! Give Accelerator a chance! Everyone deserves a second chance, don't they?!"
Before Misaka could respond, Touma hugged her from the back and said.
"You know she is right... I know you are frustrated but give him a chance, you know? And shh... Its fine even if you can't."
She turned and hugged him before crying on his chest. Burying her face onto him.
All the while Accelerator was quiet. He thought for a bit before saying.
"I have no illusion. I know many people other than you would be happy if you guys heard I was dead. But, I can't be selfish enough to die just for that. After all, I now have people who would cry if I did. And if you still have grudge against me, you can come after me. Just don't hurt them. They are too innocent. Innocent enough to love someone like me."
He was immediately tackled.
By two little brats.
They hugged him as he let him.
Index in the meanwhile didn't have anyone to embrace.
Well, that was before Touma used his hand to signal her to join him and Misaka.

A/N well that's the end of this arc. There will be epilogue for this arc. Then we will begin on the next arc called "Do you love me?" focusing on the love of Mikoto and Touma. As well as a certain stalker. It will be the arc where the level 5s starts to get along. Which will be then followed by "Hell". I bet you can guess.
