"This is it" Izuku said as he starting to shift and arrange the rings shown
"Finally we get to see what is inside the vault" Itsuka said seeing Izuku connect the first two rings
"But did you two locate the actual vault's entrance?" Mei said
"I'm sure we'll find the location of it" Itsuka said as Izuku connected the next ring "I hope"
"Depends on whether or not it's easy or hard to locate" Mei said as the fourth ring was connected
"Shouldn't be too long now" Izuku said as he connected the fifth ring
"So what are you going to do if you can't find it?" Mei asked
"Don't worry we'll find it" Izuku said connecting the last ring making the connected ring start to spin before it disappeared
"well that was anti-climatic" Mei said
"Where did it go?" Itsuka asked
"Vida?" Izuku asked
"I have no idea" Vida asked
"You think they would be some sort of signs" Mei said
"Hang on" Izuku asked using his quirk on the keypad "I got it"
"Where?" Itsuka asked
"Follow me" Izuku said as the two girls followed him, unaware of a third person following him
"Isn't this?" Itsuka asked
"The location of the first key, dad's old support studio when he was a student here" Izuku said as he touched the black pad opening the door to the safe that was an empty room, only difference was that the room was now lit up "I knew it" he said walking into the room
"Okay now what?" Itsuka asked walking into the room where the door closed "Izuku?"
"Just hold on tight" he said as they left the room descend, Itsuka quickly holding onto Izuku who just smiled.
"Where are we?" Itsuka asked
"Welcome to the United Alliance Vault, or the UAV. The place where my grandfather hid the items he found from the lost Marvellous age, this right here is the true history of superheroes" Izuku said
"Incredible" Itsuka said as they two walked into what appeared to be a large room the size of one of the training halls, it was filled with various objects and costumes from the past making the two stand still in amazement. "What are we waiting for?" she smiled as the two walked in the room, Itsuka stopping a short distance into room just looked at her watch and smiled
"This is a dream, I can't believe it, we actually found it"
"You did, you discovered it and opened it" Itsuka said kissing his cheek "So are we going to actually see what's in there?" she asked
"Yeah, come on" Izuku said
"No way" Izuku said "That's the shield"
"What shield?" Ituska asked
"The shield Captain America used to hold back the Kree invasion of New York, now way! That's the Ebony blade one of the strongest swords ever made" Izuku geeked out
"Isn't that?" Itsuka asked pointing at a helmet
"Yeah it is, the first ever model of Cerebro. I thought it was just a rumour; I can't imagine how it would work in this day and age" Izuku said
"What about that?" she said pointing to a few more objects"
"The webshooters of Spiderman, though it's hard to tell which one" Izuku said
"There was more than one?" Itsuka asked
"Oh yeah there were several. But next to them is the Staff of Gambit, the Thieves guild member turned X-Men; and that's the Eye of Agamotto; the last sign of magic in our world" Izuku said
"I recognise this one, it's one of the gauntlets of the Black Widow" Itsuka said "And the cape and head-dress of the Scarlet Witch" she the added before turning to a crystal in a glass cylinder, she went to touch when Izuku stopped her
"Don't touch that, it's a Terrigen crystal; which was a catalysts for the emergence of the Inhumans and sadly I don't know if it's still active" Izuku frowned before he noticed something in the centre of the room stood a imposing throne like structure and on it was a costume
"Who's is that?" Itsuka asked
"The throne of the Greatest King of Wakanda; T'Challa the Avenging Panther King. He was should great he helped bring in a second golden age" Izuku said "But sadly he passed before his time"
"What happened?" Itsuka asked
"It was in the twilight years of his life; so probably 50-70 years of age when someone tried to attack the capital of Wakanda. He ordered his family to stay hidden in the castle as he grabbed the spear of the first Black Panther and charged at the enemy. After 12 hours of fighting he took his final breath and died as the greatest hero, protector and king of the African nation. Many heroes of today look up to him in one way or another" Izuku explained
"Including you?" Itsuka asked
"Sort of, I was more into All-Might but that didn't mean I respected him" Izuku said paying respects.
"I can see why he means a lot to people" Itsuka said before spying something "What are these?"
"The shards of Mjolnir; I thought they were reforged into Stormbreaker" Izuku said which he saw was next to the shards of Mjolnir.
"Look at the back, aren't those costumes?" Itsuka asked
"Yeah they are" Izuku said
"And I bet you know who they are" Itsuka said
"Yep going left to right we have Captain America, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Moon Knight, Hawkeye, Iron Fist, Shang Chi, Black Cat, Banshee, White Tiger, Daredevil, Deadpool, Punisher, Aero, Songbird, Dr Strange, Ant-Man, Falcon and in the middle of all those is something I never thought I would never see" Izuku said
"What is it?" Itsuka asked
"The Mark 1, the original Ironman armour built by Tony Stark in a cave with nothing but a box of scraps and his own missiles" Izuku said
"Incredible" Itsuka said as she looked at the old armour before her phone chimed "Oh shit"
"What is it?" Izuku asked
"We have to get back to classes" Itsuka said
"Oh yeah" Izuku said as the pair headed back to the elevator and upon it opening back up they saw Nezu there smiling
"Well done, I'm sure your grandfather would be proud" Nezu said as he held up to notes "Show those to your teachers and you shouldn't get in trouble"
"Thank you sir" the couple said before heading back to class. Nezu smiled before turning back to the closed entrance
"I wonder what he has down there" he said walking off. Once Izuku and Itsuka had gone the stranger tried to make her move, but something stopped her
"Shouldn't you be in class?" a teacher asked
"Oh Midnight sensei, I was just heading there now" the student said
"It's the other way" Midnight said pointing behind her
"My bad" the student said running
"Now what was that all about?" she asked
After school Izuku was going to head back into the vault to see if anything else was hidden away somewhere when he started to get an uneasy feel
"Vida?" Izuku asked before he reached the vault where the door was opened a bit
"I'm on it" Vida said as Izuku went down in there and looked around "Is there anyone else down here?"
"Just you and me" a voice said shocking Izuku who was shocked and confused to who it was
"Tomoyo?" Izuku asked
"Sure is" Tomoyo said
"So what are you doing here?" Izuku asked
"Oh, just reclaiming something that my family lost" Tomoyo said as she pulled a card out of bra and twirled it around
"What do you mean?" Tomoyo asked
"You see I'm the great-great-great granddaughter of Remy Lebeau" Tomoyo said
"What...how?" Izuku asked
"I'll bore with a genetics lesson later, but like Remy Lebeau, I Tomoyo Shirogane am a bit of a thief; so I decided to use my skills to get this back" Tomoyo said as she revealed what she had come for, making him growl
"The Staff of Gambit" Izuku said glaring at his old classmate
"Yep, all I had to do to get it was stay under the radar here in UA, and of course the best place for that is the general studies class. I was hoping that once I get the staff I would use it and my tru quirk to get into the hero course and show you and Bakago up, but now you've discovered me; and well I can't have that now can I?" she asked
"Like you can stop me" Izuku said summoning the War Machine armour waited for her to make a move
"Tell me Izuku, Is THIS your card" she shouted about to throw the card at him
"WAIT!" War Machine shouted
"Why?" Tomoyo asked "Oh" she said as she walked out with War Machine..."So it's a nice collection"
"My grandfather collected it" Izuku stated
"Cool" Tomoyo said
"Okay" War Machine said once they were in one of the test cities
"Cool, so like I said before is THIS your card?" Tomoyo asked throwing the card at him, he quickly dodged and fired a repulsor back "I knew you had War Machine armour, but I didn't think it was like this"
"I upgraded" War Machine said as he threw a punch at her, making her dodge while drop the card she was about to throw. Getting back up Tomoyo fished around in the satchel she was carrying "I don't think that will work" he said
"Too bad, you rolled a nat 1" Tomoyo said throwing some dice to create a smokescreen while she ran off "Damn, I didn't think he would find additional armour" she said skidding around the corner "And I already used the ace up my bra" she said pulling out a fresh pack of card, "I guess I'm a defective Lebeau descendant. Anyone else would have gotten in, grabbed the staff and gotr out, but me I picked a fight with a damn armoured hero" Tomoyo said
"Where are you Tomoyo, come on out and I won't harm you" War Machine said
"Fat chance" Tomoyo said throwing some charged up cards at War Machine who either dodged them or tanked them
"I'm telling the truth, as a friend, please give me back the staff" Izuku said
"Or what?" Tomoyo asked
"I don't want to think about how I harmed a friend and got her kicked out of UA High school" Izuku said
"I see" Tomoyo said before twirling the staff "Then I have no choice but to beat you, in order to save you from what I discovered" she said sternly
"What are you talking about?" War Machine asked as he aimed at Tomoyo
"Beat me and you'll find out" Tomoyo said throwing another card before running off.
"Damn" War Machine said taking to the air "Please tell me"
"Don't worry, I loaded in your non-lethal armament, but be realistic here; you know she won't go down without a fight" Vida said
"I know that, fire off a flashbang in the direction she was heading, I need to slow her down so I can talk to her about things" he said
"Then you better hurry I'm detecting a couple of teachers including Aizawa coming" Vidas said
"That will automatically lead to her expulsion" Izuku said "Increase thrusters"
"Already on it, wait when did?" Vida asked
"What is it?" Izuku asked
"An AIM Riotbot has been teleported in and it's headed right for Tomoyo" Vida said
"No" Izuku gasped.
G'day Guys Grizz here finally revealing the Vault, something that had me very excited to do since this was something to do in the beginning before the summer camp arc, and believe me when I said even thought that there is quite a lot here already I could possibly add even more including something about the villains. One of the things that was going to be in there from the beginning was Black Panther's costume and to make it that much more epic I added the throne.
Now Tomoyo was originally going to be a small part and in fact Tsuki was going to be the one to have an expanded role. Then I started to read a fic called 'My Heroic Gambit' by ShadowF1VES and decided to make Tomoyo a descendant of Gambit's and her goal was going to be locating the staff which is was it was in the vault, so the next chapter will deal with that
