There is a reason this fanfic is marked as 'Parody'. Here are some extra notes:

-Sparks are more or less supposed to parody powers/abilities like Stands, Quirks, Semblances, and whatnot. Only this time there is theoretically no limit on how strong or weak a Spark can be.
The in-archverse definition of a Spark is just that it is a weaker, partially awoken ability belonging to any category which forces the owner to exceed the natural '10%' of their potential. This is based on the way electric shocks causes the muscles to spasm and contract unnaturally, creating much more force than normal; hence the name 'Spark'.

-Dimensions, Worlds and Verses are all classed as different planes. However, characters may incorrectly use any of the words as synonyms for the other.

-"To what extent have I buffed all the Touhou characters?" You may ask.
I removed all normal limitations on their Esoterica; this does create a problem when I'm writing the scenes because now they're limited by the knowledge they would have in canon.
For Example: Sakuya, whilst being completely able to, would not create Black Holes, White Holes, or Wormholes because she doesn't have any true idea of what they are and probably wouldn't be able to just erase and create and merge entire universes without proper foreknowledge. Being able to create pseudo parallel timelines—like how she made Matthius kill himself—is something that she can do canonically (though to a lesser extent than I have represented); and is likely the result of experimentation.

-Why do mini bosses like Daiyousei, Koakuma, Chen, Lily or even Tewi have Esoterica? (Large)
Daiyousei is never seen much in official sources. However, I decided to use the 'cheering' aspect of her various representations in fan-works to create the 'Manipulation of Cheer'. Cheering, in real life, can bring about positive effects for the instigator and recipient; genuine cheering releases various neurochemicals:
'Uniting against a Common Enemy' releases oxytocin. Oxytocin is known for its use in social bonding or even courtship; and the effects are further boosted by the presence of estrogen–thus making it rather useful in a world filled with magical girls.
'Defeating the Enemy' releases serotonin. Serotonin is a vague classification of different chemicals which can affect mood, stress, sleep, appetite, temperature, mobility, motility or even… sexual mannerisms? (Un)fortunately, Daiyousei does not know how to utilise most of these things.
'Accomplishing a Goal' releases dopamine. Dopamine plays its role in executive functions, motor functions, motivation (this one's important), arousal (not so important), reinforcement and reward.
God damnit why do all the happy chemicals have to be involved in sex? Oh fuck- wait.

Koakuma is a bit more of a joke. And a way to poke fun at all the works that depict her as a member of the succubi family; thus, the 'Manipulation of Attention'. I don't even think we'll see her again once the EoSD arc is over. Omakes, maybe. But I don't think I'll be able to write her in a genuine way that doesn't involve padding for words.

Chen. What the hell am I supposed to do about Chen? She can shapeshift and do some neat things as a bakeneko; but those capabilities aren't exclusive to her. So I gave her what is probably the dumbest Esoterica yet… An infallible ambush attack. R.I.P Kogasa's dignity.

Lily. Uh. I really just used the 'Spring Essence' item you get from beating her in the Terraria:Gensokyo mod. It really doesn't have much of an effect in a battle.

Tewi. This one's even harder. I used 'Happiness Egoist' by Shinra-Bansho as the basis. Then slapped some luck charms because of British kids and how they would chant "Rabbit, rabbit." every month for good luck (for some reason?). This in conjunction to the 'Rabbit's Foot' having an association with the corpse of a criminal, "the wickedness of a person would bring good luck for all in their death" or something like that; it works well enough with Tewi's canon 'Pillage Mode'. Though since these superstitions originate in the 20th Century, they are relatively new Esoterica to Tewi; though she has about a century to figure it out before IN takes place.

-Why did I choose the Stands I did for each AW Touhou character?
Most of them seem like pretty self-explanatory names. But the lyrics will clue you in on the difference between the 'original' and 'alternate' characters.
Another big spoiler: More than one AW is actually a post-CtC variant; but they aren't from the same one.

-'DiscOzone' is the first time Matthius or anyone else really encounters a Stand; and thus they incorrectly refer to it as a new type of Spark.

-I'm still balancing Parallax's Parameters; so here's a few notes on that:
[VITL] is the essential stat that will result in death when depleted; any damage inflicted when [HLTH] or [PSYK] are at zero will target [VITL].
From the 2010s and onward, teenagers have slightly lower [HLTH] but twice as much [PSYK] (as the example stats). This is only if the person in question has been in secondary education. As highschool students of 2010 onward tend to have more stress, trauma and illnesses than psychiatric patients and war veterans of the 1950s to 1990s. This still reduces the total [PSYK] as long as the condition(s) is present.
[STAM] is used for every single movement. Even breathing. It's just so negligible that I wouldn't bother.
[MANA] is supposed to be present even in normal humans but most never learn to use it. Consequently, Matthius' circumstances means that he has a lower [MANA] capacity than the average person; offset by high 'spell effectiveness'.
[SPRK], similar to [MANA], is present in all humans, but the passive effects are awoken by being in the presence of another Spark user.

Extra Note: Matthius' [LUST] stat is about 0/4556 (it operates on percentages).
(A common aphrodisiac would be about 18 times less effective on Matthius than the average person.)
With his incredibly low libido, Matthius would be impossibly hard to arouse; that is of course unless someone had an Esoterica which just so happens to be capable of kickstarting hormone production through something as unassuming as… I don't know… cheering?
But no- I have simply decided to stick with this variant of Matthius being asexual for this fanfiction.

Alright, now onto some fun little unnecessary trivia;
-AW Youmu's Ghost Half's Stand was originally going to be 'Hey, Soul Sister'; then I realised that was absolutely fucking terrible.

-AW Reisen's Stand is completely unworked on. The current choice is really just a placeholder; so that's something someone can help me with.
-AW Esai's Stand (OC) could have been 'Tokyo Ghetto'. Unfortunately I wasn't really going to look into any more Japanese music before youtube declared me a weeb and filled my recommendations with anime tiddies or sumthin. Also the ability didn't match up with the theme.
-I COULD have r63d some of the AW characters but I was way too tired when I came up with the concepts to actually redesign any of them.
-Yes, "Jaune Arc" (from RWBY), "Shirou Emiya" (from Fate), "Sans the Skeleton" (from Undertale), "Naruto Uzumaki" (from Naruto), "Ash Ketchum" (from Pokemon) and "Harry Potter" (from… yep. Harry Potter) are here… for some reason.

Jaune Arc is here because he's the blank-slate male protag/deuteragonist that seems to have so many fanfics about/centred around him.
I'm looking at you [Coeur Al'aran]. Your name sounds like the name of an Idahoan City.
And yes- Review fics are probably going to be made fun of. That and [Gamer] fics. Jaune has a tendency to get some sort of OS.

Shirou Emiya. Yep. People love this guy, and it's easy to tell why. With fanfics starting to venture into a "what-if Shirou was in the Touhou project" (though last I checked they didn't seem to be going anywhere; kinda like this fanfic) I thought I would try my hand at writing him into later Volumes. Of course, the AW/AU 'Shirou Kotomine' (the 'adopted son of Kirei' one; not T. Amakusa) appears during the finale of Volume 1.
This time- I'm looking at [Parcasious] this time. Damn that's a lot of Shirous.

Sans. Oh my sweet baby Jesus- Why the hell are there like 240 different AUs of the same fucking dood. I really can't bother with this.
I also haven't looked into any fanfics of Undertale because I'm scared. Dems fuckers really tried to be horny for a skeleton. Or an ungendered(?) murder child. If I had to choose between being a necrophile or a paedophile–I choose death.

Naruto Uzumaki. Everyone's heard of the anime, even if they either hate it, or in my case, never watched it. And yes, I acknowledge that the manga exists but be honest with yourselves–you western kids just saw an anime being broadcasted on television and along with Pokémon and Dragon Ball Z, it stuck with you. So- [NeonZangetsu]… Just… How? How many times has this guy managed to insert Naruto into every possible circumstance?

Ash Ketchum. Idk. Insert funny joke about?… ((I had to actually go and check what the top crossovers were)) oh shit- Harry Potter.

Harry Potter. Yet another iconic character that I actually don't see that often in crossovers. Though, to be fair, Twilight, Percy Jackson and whatever else aren't really series that I've gotten into. Hell I don't think I've watched Naruto or Pokémon past the first few episodes. No wait- I just don't really do things huh.

With this- I've embodied a good portion of the Western fanbase. Unfortunately a few of them won't be here to stay.
→ Minecraft Steve is also here; if just to help Matthius and Kutaka build a chicken empire(?) somewhere around Vol. 3. That'll be fun.
