CHAPTER THIRTY TWO
HOGWARTS TRAIN
As a going back to school present Lucius had bought Hermione a new set of luggage, complete with two trunks, jewels case, makeup case and a backpack to carry on her needs for the trip, a book, her new robes and shoes. All the luggage had her initials. He also bought Harry a set of his own as well complete with initials, but his was a darker colour.
Draco handed Hermione up on the train and they invited Harry, and Pansy to join them in the heads compartment. Harry had a copy of the Daily Prophet under his arm as he placed his robes on the shelf above his seat. He did the same for Pansy as well while Draco did the same for Hermione. When she was seated her handed her a glass of wine and then poured the rest of them glasses.
"How are you really bro?" Hermione asked Harry.
"Numb, I am still in shock. I don't know what am I meant to feel 'Mione, I'm betrayed and beyond hurt by someone we were meant to trust. I'm trying very hard not to be jaded about the whole thing." he looked at his sister. She reached over and held his hand while Draco had his arm around her.
Pansy took his other hand and held it just giving silent support as she could. Not knowing what exactly was going on but knew it was huge to Hermione. She had been told by her parents to remain in Hermione's good graces because of who she was related to personally, and it had nothing to do with the Malfoys, therefore she was a powerhouse of a witch by herself and quite possibly more connected than the Malfoys as well.
"We can only offer support Harry and time. I am sure the Aurors will get to the bottom of all this." Hermione said quietly and Pansy agreed.
The meal was served shortly after, and the rest of the ride was filled with nonsense and silliness.
Patrols were carried out and they were purposefuly forgetting the Weasleys. So they were late getting ready and Ginny received a thirty point deduction for not being in uniform. Ron got twenty for incorrect robes.
Hermione was dressed in her silk and wool as was Draco, Pansy and Harry when they exited the compartment. They were assaulted by Ron getting in Hermione's face. "Oi whore, where you been? You coming back to me you know that hey. I got something hard for ya to get acquainted with." grabbing his crotch and rubbing it. "Thanks Harry for helping mum outta the ministry as well. Right kind of you." with that he and Ginny left on the last carriage.
"I have to take a shower." Pansy muttered. Hermione echoed her sediments wholeheartedly.
"Harry you got your broom in there?" Draco asked.
"Yeah I got it." Both pulled their brooms and enlarged them. Pansy got a lift with Harry and Draco took Hermione. Passing the carriages they had time to drop their bags at the dorms before the feast and be back as everyone arrived. Severus nodded from the teachers table. And the meal began.
