CH 12
After Jack got the marriage license they headed to the barber shop which they saw when they went to get the license. They stopped there so Jack could get his haircut and had a shave while there.
When done and paid for Jack thanked the guys then walked out of the shop with one of the men behind him. Once in they were on their way to the 'wedding bell chapel' When they got there twenty minutes later Jack used his credit card to pay for every thing. He chose 'the Grace' package.
Once paid for he went to the men's toilets so he could relieve himself and wash his hands, then he looked in the mirror.
'This is not what I had in mind for when Sam and I get married'
'I know, but as you said, we will be doing it again in front of families and friends'
'Yeah, but we don't know what else they got planned for us'
'All we can do is wait and see' Then one of the of the guys walked in.
"Come on, it's time and there is someone here to see you and the captain get married" Jack dried his hands before walking outside.
When he did he stopped when he saw Senator Kinsey and eight other NID behind them.
"Colonel O'Neill"
"You're the one behind all of this" Kinsey grinned.
"You foiled my plans once Colonel, this time I'm going to make sure you and the captain get married, then to see you both get court-martialed"
"I see but since you're here" the minister walked over to them and recognized Kinsey.
"Senator Kinsey this is a surprise, are you here for the wedding" they shook hands.
"Actually he is here as the witness for the wedding"
Kinsey gave Jack a shocked but dirty look then turned to the minister with a smile on his face.
"That is wonderful, shall we, you bride has just arrive"
"Senator, shall we" they walked up to the front of where the gazebo was.
'Nice one Jack, the senator doesn't looked happy'
'I know but now he got no choice but to sign the papers'
The other agents sat down and waited while Jack stood up to the front with the minister. Then the music started and they all stood up.
When the car pulled up at the place they all got out and walked over to where one of the agents was and followed him to where the wedding was being held.
"Don't try to run away or the Colonel and minister will die" then they walked in and sat down.
'I can't believe that they would kill a civilian'
'You know what they are capable of doing'
Sam gave the women a nod then the music started Sam walked slowly down the isle to where Jack was. When Jack turned around he smiled to see Sam walking towards him.
'Beautiful' Jack said.
'Yes she is'
When Sam reached the front the NID agents sat down then the wedding service began. Ten minutes later they were pronounced husband and wife. Jack lifted the veil up and over Sam head then he cupped her face and kissed her. They wrapped their arms around each other while the agent clapped and smiled.
When they parted company the minister got them to sign the marriage license then got Kinsey to sign it as well. When Jack and Sam were holding hands, Jack sent Sam Morse code to let her know who was there. After the papers were signed.
The minister introduced them as Mr and Mrs O'Neill. The agents all got up and walked over to congratulate them both. Then they walked over to where the wedding photos were being taken. Afterwards they talked while the photos was being developed. Kinsey walked over to Jack and Sam.
"When you return back to the hotel, get changed; the others know how long you got, cause I want to be out of here within two hours"
"Kinsey, you are going to pay for what you and your pals have done" Jack said quietly.
"No one will know" then he walked away. A guy walked over to them.
"Sir, here is your wedding video"
"Thanks… have you got pen and paper?"
"Yes sir" he got pen and paper out.
"Ok, write this address down… General George Hammond, NORAD, Cheyenne Mountain, Colorado Springs.
"Ok, got that" Jack slipped the guy some money.
"Post it ASAP and put on the back my name and put in big letter 'urgent - General eyes only'. He will know what to do"
"Yes sir"
"Thanks, go and do it now, and if anyone stops you make up an excuse"
"Sir?" the guy was confused.
"Classified" he nodded, then walked away.
"How are you holding up, Sam?"
"I'm ok, you?"
"Same here, you looked beautiful in that dress"
"Thanks, all we need to do is escape"
"I know but with all of these guys here, it's impossible at the moment"
"I know" Twenty minutes later the photographer walked over with photos in hand.
"Here you go Mr O'Neill, congratulations!"
"Thanks" then he walked away.
"I'll be right back" Sam said then she walked over to the women's bathroom while Jack walked around when the same guy walked over to him.
"Excuse me, are you Colonel Jack O'Neill?"
"Yes"
"I saw on the news that you and Captain Carter were kidnapped" Jack looked around then back to the guy.
"Yes and we still are, did you post the video tape?"
"Not yet, would you like for me to post the photos as well?"
"Yes, thanks"
"Are they the guys who kidnapped you and the captain?"
"Yes, and they got guns and are willing to kill anyone who gets in their way" Jack passed him the photos.
"Who is General Hammond?"
"My commanding officer"
"Ok, I better go, got another wedding in twenty minutes, is there anyone who I can call?"
"Yes, Major Paul Davis from the Pentagon, he can contact General Hammond, oh, mention Kinsey's name"
"Sure, good luck"
"Thanks" then the guy walked away, just as Sam walked back over to Jack's side. One of the agents walked over to them.
"Let's go" they walked out of the area and over to the parking lot.
Jack and Sam were put into two different SUV. Once all the agents were in they headed back to the hotel in different directions. The truck Jack was in got to the hotel first. Once they were in the room, Jack grabbed some clothes and walked into the bathroom where he got changed, then he walked out and put his suit away and packed his bags. Then they left minutes later.
Five minutes later, Sam and three agents walked into the room where Sam got changed, and she packed all her things up before leaving minutes later herself. They drove outside of Las Vegas and then down a dirt road for ten minutes, then they stopped and got out. When the SUV Sam was in showed up, they all got out.
Sam walked over to Jack and they hugged and turned when they heard and saw two helicopters showing up and landing.
"Say good night you two" Jack and Sam looked at Kinsey and two guys who got tranquilizer guns. Then they looked at each other.
"I love you, Sam"
"I love you too, Jack"
Then they felt the darts hitting them both then they collapsed on the ground. The agents picked them up and put them into the helicopters then they took off. While that was happening, the guy called the Pentagon; he managed to get through to Major Davis.
"Hello, Major Davis speaking"
"Hi I spoke to Colonel O'Neill, he said to contact you" Major Davis sat up in his seat.
"How do you know Colonel O'Neill?"
"He and Captain Carter got married at the 'wedding bells chapel' half an hour ago"
"Are you sure you're talking about the same person?"
"Yes, he said you can contact a general Hammond at NORAD, I got photos of their wedding, I can e-mail them to you and he said to mention Senator Kinsey's name"
That got Major Davis' interest, he knew that the senator tried to shut down the SGC two years ago and was overruled by the President after SG1 went on a suicide mission to save Earth, and that the senator got in a lot of trouble for not telling the President about what Daniel told him about the Goa'uld coming to Earth. He had a fair idea that the senator would try to get his revenge for what SG1 did.
"I'll give you an address where you can send them"
"Thanks" Major Davis gave the guy the address where he typed it in his computer, then he pressed send.
"I've just sent them, there is twelve photos and a video of the wedding"
"Thanks… I got them now"
"Good luck in finding them, from what I've over heard they're leaving Las Vegas in about half an hour"
"Ok, thanks for your help" then they hung up. Major Davis looked at the photos while he called General Hammond.
"Hammond"
"General Hammond, it's Major Davis; I got an anonymous call about Colonel O'Neill and Captain Carter"
"It could be a hoax?"
"No sir, the guys e-mailed wedding photos and video footage from the colonel and the captain, it's no hoax sir"
"Thanks for letting me know Major"
"Yes sir. I'm looking at the video footage; who ever took this got all the NID faces, so now I can put names to the faces"
"One of them could be the leader" Major Davis smiled.
"Sir, the leader is Senator Kinsey"
"What?" Hammond was shocked and didn't know that Kinsey got connections to the NID.
"Yes sir, he's on different photos, and what I can see, he has signed their marriage license. How the colonel and captain pulled that one sir, I don't know"
"Thanks for telling me this"
"I just e-mailed you a copy, and I'll update General Ryan and the President"
"Keep me up to date"
"Yes sir" then they hung up.
Hammond opened and turned his laptop on, then he checked his e-mail and saw the one from Major Davis. He got a pen drive out and put it in the computer and copied the files on to it; while that was downloading he stood up and walked to the door and opened it.
"Walter, can you get General Carter on the phone"
"Yes sir"
Then he walked back and sat down just as the file finish downloading. He removed the pen drive just as the phone rang. Hammond picked it up.
"Jacob"
"George, what is it?"
"I got a call from Major Davis; some guy called and e-mailed him Jack's and Sam's wedding photos and a copy of the wedding video"
"What… they married?"
"Yes, I'm looking at the wedding photos; Sam looked beautiful in her wedding gown"
"Can you send them to me?"
"Sure"
"Thanks, I'll use Mark's computer to check the photos out"
"Ok, we now know who the leader is"
"Who?"
"Senator Kinsey"
"You're joking"
"I'm not, you will see him in one of the photos"
"Ok thanks for telling me George, I'll go and let Mark know"
"Don't worry, we will find then"
"I know, thanks for calling" then they hung up.
Hammond forwarded the e-mail to Jacob, then he looked at the wedding video; he could see the look on Jack's face when he turned to see Sam walking towards him. He watched the whole thing and what happened afterwards then it stopped.
"Good luck Jack, Sam" then he closed his laptop down and waited for the next phone call.
Jacob checked his e-mail ten minutes later, he looked at the wedding photo which made him sad cause he wasn't there, but he knew he should be happy, and he didn't know if they were planing on have a second wedding with family and friends.
He showed the photos to Daniel, Teal'c and the family; they all commented on how beautiful Sam looked, and now Mark knew what Jack looked like and could see on a couple of photos. The way they looked at each other and smiled, he had seen the same look on his wedding photos when he got married.
Over the next eight months there had been no new news or reported sightings of Jack and Sam. The NID put a trace on Senator Kinsey and some of the other agents who Jacob identified and some of the ones from the wedding. So far there had been nothing.
Jacob stayed with Mark and family for another week before flying out to Washington with Daniel and Teal'c. He was putting his house up for sale and moved everything in to Jack's and Sam's place till he got time to sort everything out. While there, he decided to retire, so he spoke to General Ryan whom he had known since Sam was in diapers.
General Ryan accepted Jacob's retirement papers and offered him a new job as the liaison between the Tok'ra and Tau'ri, which he excepted. Jacob, Daniel and Teal'c returned back to Colorado springs with all of Jacob's things and managed to put them into both homes before he returned back to the Tok'ra to give them an update on what had happened to Jack and Sam. Plus he took copies of the wedding photos with him to show the Tok'ra.
