"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!" Shigaraki screamed at the top of his lungs.

Izuku actually cowered down in fear some. Deku grabbed his wrist trying to keep him from slapping or killing his dimensional twin.

"That fuck face asshole would've killed us! You knew fucking exactly what we were against and you let him go out there like that?!" the villain screamed more.

"Tomura- calm down!" the young hero begged.

"He tried to get us killed!" the villain snapped, turning around.

Deku let him go, staring at his angry face. His expression was angry but his eyes looked sad.

"L-let me fix your back... Please- so it doesn't get infected."

Tomura's angry face fell.

"Wh-what-

Izuku slipped away to his room without the villain noticing.

"Please."

"Ugh."

Eri walked into the living room to see a shirtless, angry villain and Deku the hero trying to calm him down.

"Is everything ok?" she asked quietly.

"Can you get some stuff for me so I can clean his burn?"

She nodded quickly. She disappeared for only a minute and returned.

"I got this Izuku. Go lay down."

The young hero glanced at Tomura who wouldn't even look at him.

"Alright."

Eri listened as the door to Deku's room shut close. She let out a soft sigh and looked over the villain's back. It look bad but it could've been a lot worse.

"What happened?" she asked.

"Fuck if I know. Your asshole friend was bawling and moping around. Asked to go save the other idiot and next thing I know we're surrounded by ice and fire. He acted a lot like Endeavor. Fucking dickhead."

"Our Endeavor is really nice though."

Tomura rolled his eyes but Eri couldn't see that.

"It's nice of you to save him... again. I know it's not your thing."

"Hm."

The sting of alcohol hit his skin and made his fingers twitch but he stayed still. It felt good since it cooled but it stung like a mother fucker.

"When are you going to tell him?" Shigaraki asked.

"Tell who what?" Eri asked picking up the burn ointment.

"Tell Izuku you love him."

She gasped and dropped the ointment on the ground.

"What? What- what are you talking about?" she asked in a higher voice.

"I see the way you look at him. What is it? Yours is gayer than a pride parade and Deku is a straight hero who's your age and single. When you going to tell him?"

"That's absurd! I don't-

"Shut the fuck up. I can see the way you look at him. Every single fucking time. It's gross. Just tell him already."

Eri stood there behind him, speechless and shocked. He turned some to look her in the eye.

"You really think he would deny you in any way?"

"He's not- he's not my Izuku. That would mean I'm using him!" she hissed.

"Everyone is always out for themselves. You're allowed to be selfish once in a while. Heroes are human too apparently. Just fuck him and get it out of your system."

Her angel like face turned scarlet.

"How can you be so casual about it?!"

"Because you're only hurting yourself. I've never once seen you look at the dumbass like that- only Deku. Unless you always did look at him that way but then you didn't. Now he walks in and he's a dream because he's the best version of the one you care about."

She grabbed the ointment off the floor.

"Don't make fun of me!" she hissed angrily.

"I'm not."

Her face fell.

"We won't be here forever. You'll lose your chance. He's too stupid to see the way you look at him."

Eri closed her eyes.

"Just think about it. It's gross seeing that puppy love face every fucking time I see you."

He turned back around. Eri blinked and smiled fondly as the color of embarrassment disappeared from her face. She finished taking care of his back. He didn't say anything after she finished. He got up and went to his room, slamming the door shut. She smiled and cleaned up before heading to her own room.

Deku got up from his bed and headed for the kitchen. No one was out there which wasn't surprising anymore. Everyone seemed so busy anymore. He had kind of hoped Tomura was out there but he wasn't. His bedroom door was locked too so that left him some relief that he wasn't out there murdering people out of rage.

He dug through the fridge until he found a veggie tray with cheese. He wasn't in the mood to cook so it sounded good for his lazy mood. He grabbed the milk, poured himself a glass and headed back for his room when he decided to stop by Izuku's room. He didn't hear anything, which probably wasn't a good thing but he wasn't in the mood for more trauma.

Deku ate away watching the news on his phone. The best part was All Might was seen helping some people out. It made his heart soar with joy. The fact he fell so far to be a villain and was trying his hardest to come back. Even Midnight was by his side with a smile on her face. It made him want to go and help some people too. He hadn't really done any hero work in a while. Trying to avoid dying by Shouto's hand didn't count in his book.

I guess I could go do that. Or maybe not... Maybe it wouldn't be a good idea after last night. I guess I'll hang around unless I can get someone to go with me.

Deku ended up watching videos on his phone for a couple hours until his phone was about to die. He barely noticed he wasted away hours. He got up plugged his phone in and stretched. His body felt stiff from laying there for hours. He yawned and decided to leave his room to go watch TV. Maybe someone else would be out there now.

He felt a little lonely.

He made it into the living room to see Eri sitting there on the couch eating out of gallon tub of ice cream. She looked over at him and her face turned bright red. Deku blinked thinking he was seeing stuff. She looked embarrassed from eating that much ice cream in one sitting. She stabbed the ice cream with her spoon and continued staring at him.

"Can I join you?" he asked.

"Um- oh sure."

He sat down right beside of her.

"Y-you want some? I can get you another spoon."

"I'm not sick. I don't mind sharing."

"O-oh, ok."

Deku engaged in small talk with her while they ate ice cream. It seemed after a while, she managed to relax enough to where it didn't look weird. Eri thought about what Shigaraki had said last night. He was right- the way she looked at him, Deku didn't notice... Unless it was something he never was looking for. Maybe it was something he never wanted and only she did.

I wonder what he would say to me if I asked him...

"You ok?"

Eri whipped her head to the side to look at the freckled, emerald eyed dreamy hero she had been longing for since the moment he stepped into her life.

"I... Ah... Yea. Just thinking."

He nodded.

"That's all I do all day long. I think sometimes I even get tired of it."

"Really?" she asked.

"Yea... I over analyze everything. I'm usually right and it makes it hard for me to be happy or excited about stuff. Hero fights against villains is a totally unpredictable thing... Most of the time I can be wrong... That's exciting for me."

"I'm sorry."

He shrugged.

"It's alright. I can say being here has been more interesting than my own world."

Eri smiled.

"I'm glad you like it."

He let out a weak laugh making her look at him funny like she didn't believe him.

"Oh... you don't."

Deku glanced at her before returning his attention to the TV.

"Why not?"

"It's... backwards here."

Eri looked down at the almost empty ice cream container.

"It's not that way to us."

He felt a little guilty.

"I want to help but I can't get out of here. Shouto could be lurking at every corner waiting for me. He doesn't know who I am and I could ruin things for Izuku. It makes it hard."

"Then do all those things you want to do at night or when he's at school."

Deku blinked.

"I should make my costume again."

"Costume?"

"Yea! My hero costume!" he yelled excitedly jumping up, "My mom made my first one though! She looked through my sketches and made it."

He held out his hand to her Eri.

"Let's go! Maybe we can disguise ourselves a little bit."

Her big red eyes lit up.

"Alright!"

The two went off to his room. There really wasn't a lot to use to make themselves look like other people. So they managed to use back alley ways until they reached a party shop that looked half way decent. Eri bought a pink wig and blue contacts. Izuku found a brown wig and orange contacts. She bought a beanie to cover her horn and helped him conceal his freckles.

"Wow, we look nothing like who we really are..." Eri said looking in the party shop window.

They looked a little cheesy and looked like they stood out more.

"I think you look pretty."

Eri looked over at Deku who was smiling at her.

"T-thanks."

They took off to the mall that had a fabrics store. It was rather run down on the north part but it looked like people were trying to fix it up.

"I think you did something," Eri said watching the men work.

"What do you mean?"

"This place was run down and almost a homeless shelter mostly but it's looking a lot better. The fact you took down All Might showed the world things can change with the right people."

Deku beamed.

Once inside the store, he went right for the solid color section. There really wasn't a lot of green. He made a face feeling slightly disappointed. Eri found some purple and white fabric. Her eyes sparkled just like the glitter attached to the fabric. Deku smiled and returned his attention to the green they did have. They had a lot of lime green but it made him cringe.

"I love the colors of purple and white together. I want to make one too."

Deku smiled, "I can't wait to see what you sketch later for it!"

She blushed and nodded.

Eri watched as Deku stared at the fabrics for over thirty minutes. He seemed to mumble to himself constantly. He walked away three times only to come back and stare down the fabric like it would change into the colors he wanted. She stood by waiting patiently. It would be hard already having a costume and trying to change it up. He must've had some real attachment to it.

"You know... This is a different world. Could you reverse the colors?"

"Well... It was green like my hair and a darker green..."

"Why don't you do green on black. There's a ton of black fabric and only a little of the dark green."

"Hmmmm... I suppose I can do that."

After five minutes, they pushed the cart to front and paid for everything, they headed out. Eri smiled happily as they headed back to their hideout. It had been a while since she got out and had fun with someone. Shinsou wasn't exactly the going out type and everyone else was too busy doing hero like stuff. At least Deku left time to do other stuff that more fun.

Even with their cheap looking disguises, in the back of his mind he was thinking Shouto would be around every corner. The look on his face and the hatred in his eyes haunted him. Every second his mind was free he thought of the friend being an evil prick was just terrible.

"Hey..." Eri said looking up at him.

"Yea?"

"Thanks... I don't really have fun often."

Deku's head snapped to the side.

"You thought that was fun?" he asked looking baffled, "I literally talked to myself for an hour while you stood there."

She giggled.

There was something about her smile that calmed some of the chaos inside of his head.

"It's alright."

Tomura got up and yawned. He had drank to help himself sleep. His back hurt like a bitch and it was going to be a while before he would be able to stretch without it feeling like his back was ripping apart. He made it to the kitchen only thinking about coffee for once in his life. He got everything started and waited patiently for it to brew.

At this rate I'm going to destroy my liver before I make it home.

He started making his way to the living room when he thought he was hallucinating. His red eyes widened seeing the scene before him.

The fuck?

Eri was standing on a step stool while Deku placed pins in a weird purple outfit she was wearing. The two of them stopped what they were doing and looked over at the dumbfounded villain.

"Oh, hey Shigaraki."

The villain pinched the bridge of his nose.

"What in the fuck are you doing?"

"Making hero costumes."

"What?"

"I can't seem to leave here without Shouto coming after me. He's never seen my hero costume so why not? I'm making Eri one too."

Shigaraki blinked a few times.

"I'm hungover but that actually is a great idea. Saving dumbasses isn't my thing and I'm tired of saving you."

Eri laughed while Deku turned bright red.

"I'm sorry about all that... How is your back?"

"It hurts like a bitch."

"If you want I can reverse it for you."

Tomura cringed, "I'd rather suffer."

Deku rolled his eyes and continued what he was doing. Eri flashed Tomura a smile. He gave her a small one back and headed back to his room quietly.

Well, I still have COVID. I still can't work. So I am sorry for not updating because my kids are still at home for school so access to my laptop is still limited. I hope everyone had a great halloween. I felt bad for not being able to take my kids but I did like a little treat hunt like an Easter egg hunt for them. Have a great night!
