A/N
Sorry if it's bad, I didn't know what to write.
I don't know why I write so much of this stuff, guys, I'll change it up soon though.
Continuation of Chapter 15.
"Hey."
Thalia blinked and mentally slapped herself out of her stupor. She'd gotten lost in the boy's looks; his windswept hair and beautiful eyes and perfect, chiseled jawline that highlighted his tan complexion. He was decked out in all black, a t-shirt loosely placed around his shoulders – a size large, maybe? – and his slim-fit jeans were fastened by a belt that sat around his waist. Percy hadn't bothered to do it properly; a small length stuck out in a strangely fashionable way.
"Oh! Uh-hey."
Percy smiled at her in an unnerving way as he leaned against the railing of the balcony. They weren't that high up – maybe the third storey – but Thalia's palms already started to get sweaty.
"Heights?"
Thalia blinked for a second before nodding.
"Yeah."
The boy in front of her smiled. Unfortunately, it just made her nerves act up even more. Her stomach fluttered and Thalia froze to the spot.
Percy raised an eyebrow at her, a slight smirk playing on his lips, before he got up and walked towards her.
Towards her!
Move, damn it! Move!
Her body refused to respond to her demands. There she stood, rooted in the ground, apparently, given the way she couldn't move.
Thalia, normally calm, composed, and very much arrogant – she knew that , of course – couldn't move in the face of this boy.
"You okay?" Percy inquired, a puzzled look on his face.
"Ye-yeah." Her voice was shaky, and Thalia was clearly not okay.
"For some reason I doubt that."
She scrunched up her nose, irritated. "I said I'm okay, dipshit."
Unlike what Thalia had expected, however, Percy merely grinned at her snapping at him.
"That's the Thalia I know."
The girl narrowed her eyes. "Were you fucking with me?"
"Nope," he responded immediately, popping the p. "I just thought you were a bit off tonight."
Fuck, Thalia told herself. Fuck, fuck fuck. Just like that her hands grew so fucking clammy again and her stomach filled with butterflies and her legs went weird.
"But I suppose the Truth or Dare has been pretty wild, huh?"
A rouse of cheers from behind Thalia alerted the two to something probably of epically stupid proportions happening inside the apartment right now, but neither seemed to be paying much attention.
But in truth (pun not intended, Thalia hated puns) the whole thing had been pretty wild. Put some idiot teenagers together and it was essentially guaranteed everything they'd do would be a shitshow. Add a game called truth or dare? That was even worse.
Body shots were taken – not with real alcohol, of course, they never had that – and stories were shared of the weirdest kind. Dares that were just plain stupid came up. Katie and Travis got together tonight at Silena's behest, even, though everyone knew it was coming sooner or later.
Then, not five minutes ago, Thalia had found out that Percy Jackson lost his virginity to Reyna Avila Ramirez-Arellano – probably some weird pact they made, the two had a weird relationship – and then proceeded to be double teamed by Nico di Angelo and Will Solace.
From what the girl had heard, di Angelo used to have the hots for Percy, but found Solace. Will Solace would fuck Percy though, that was a no-brainer.
Yeah, tonight was crazy. Thalia chanced a glance back at the game – was that Connor... naked? And doing the chicken dance?
She whipped her head back in the direction of Percy. Thank fuck Connor had his underwear on, though.
There were a few moments of awkward silence before Thalia realised that Percy had, in fact, asked her a question.
"Oh? Oh! Yeah, I guess."
"Have you lost your virginity yet, Thalia?"
"What?"
"Answer the question."
The girl gaped a little at Percy's request – no, command –and bit her lip as his voice dropped and he glared at her with those sea-green eyes of his.
"No," Thalia answered, uncharacteristically meekly.
"Do you want me to take it?"
"What-"
"Answer the damn question, or I swear to God you'll miss out."
Percy had advanced, now inside her own personal bubble of private space. Still, Thalia couldn't find the will to mind his actions and he... did whatever.
"...yes."
The boy lowered his head, and looked into her eyes.
"... Stay behind when the others leave."
"Percy-"
"Don't disobey me."
Thalia shuddered. All Percy did was smile darkly, eyes twinkling with delight.
He leaned in, pinning her to the wall, and whispered.
"Don't worry. I'll be gentle."
Thalia only came to her senses after he'd left; the next thing she knew, she was on the balcony, backed up against the wall by her own.
"Thalia! Come on!"
She shook her head at the mention of her name, bringing her back down to earth.
Thalia dusted herself off, making sure she didn't look too ruffled. She didn't want anyone to get the wrong meaning of what had happened.
To be fair, she thought to herself, making her way to the circle, it's happening tonight.
And as Thalia caught eyes with Percy, who stared at her with hungry eyes, unrestrained want –
Wow.
Things had escalated quickly, hadn't they?
Fin.
