Hello, guys! I give you chapter 12! It seemed actually a little hard at first until I just sat down and did it XD I really hope you guys like this chapter! Please leave a review and tell me what you think about it!
I do need to know what the tributes did for their Gamemaker sessions and their preferred scores! Also, could you guys tell me if your tributes would do an alliance? Thank you!
Should I write a chapter about Katniss's and Peeta's wedding?
The shopping area in District 1 was incredibly busy as Azure and Teagan Kirtle made their way in and out of each store, leaving with at least one more bag piled on their arms. They giggled with each other, talking about this very gorgeous top Teagan had found.
"Oh, shit!" Azure said, looking at her gold watch with purple diamonds surrounding the face. "We have to get home or dad will kill us!"
Teagan grabbed her twin sister's arm and pulled her down an alley. "Come on, I know a shortcut!"
"Are you sure?" Azure questioned. They had been shopping down this strip for ages, and she'd never heard of a shortcut.
Teagan nodded, her smile wide and excited. "Yeah!"
Suspicion sprouted in Azure's stomach. In hindsight, she should have stopped then and there and went home the long way. Shouts and cheers could be heard echoing through the alley, making the suspicion grow. "Teagan," Azure muttered, anger leaking into her voice.
Her sister ignored her as they rounded a corner and found themselves in the middle of a protest against the Capitol.
Azure wanted to run away, but she couldn't move her feet. She knew Teagan didn't like the Capitol too much, but she never would have guessed her baby sister - by four minutes - could be involved in something like this. She watched as Teagan threw her bags to the floor, grabbed a torch from someone, and set the gorgeous dresses, shoes, and jewelry on fire.
"Teagan! What are you doing?" Azure screamed at her sister, grabbing her by the shoulders. Azure backed away when she saw the look in her sister's eyes. She didn't like it. It was a spark of something people would be murdered for.
"We need to fight against the Capitol, Azure! We need to take back our country! We need revenge!" Teagan roared, the fire in her eyes burning everything in their path. The rest of the traitors clapped and cheered behind her.
Azure moved away. "No, no. We're privileged because the Capitol allows us! There's no point in revenge! We deserve what they do to us!"
Teagan's eyes filled with pity. "Oh, you poor thing. Please, Azure, let me explain. The Capitol takes advantage of us. We don't deserve what they've done with us. We can live in a country of our own, where our children don't have to murder each other."
Maybe Azure would have listened to her sister. Maybe she would have run away. Either way, it didn't matter. A shot rang out and Azure watched as her sister collapsed to the ground, blood seeping out of the bullet hole in her head.
Azure tore her eyes away from Teagan's dead body. Peacekeepers were shooting and taking the protesters away. Dropping her bags, Azure turned and ran down the alley, trying to get away.
It happened so fast. She escaped the alley, but then landed in a Peacekeepers's arms. He held her tight, causing Azure to cry out in pain. "Stop! I'm not part of the group! Please, stop! Let me go! I'm not like them!"
She heard the Peacekeeper scoff before he hit her in the head with the butt of his gun.

Ajax and his brother, Connor, were sparring together at the Academy. Ajax tripped Connor and laughed, holding his hand out. "You're getting better," he said, pulling his brother up.
"Yeah, right. I can hardly beat anyone in my class," Connor grumbled, rubbing his elbow.
Ajax shook his head. "Come on, you're not that bad."
Connor looked at his brother, trying to keep his expression serious. "I am that bad."
Ajax snorted out a laugh, and soon, the brothers were laughing loudly. Unfortunately, the happiness was short-lived. Four Peacekeepers came into the training room, running straight at Connor.
"What's going on?" Ajax demanded, stepping in front of Connor.
"Connor Underhill is under arrest for assaulting the mayor's wife. Move or you will be forced." The Peacekeeper pointed his gun at Ajax, motioning for him to step aside.
Ajax looked behind at Connor. His brother shook his head. He turned back to the Peacekeeper. "Are you sure you have your facts right? Connor is fifteen. He wouldn't have done anything like that."
"Move or you will be forced," the Peacekeeper repeated.
"No." Ajax stood up straighter, lifting the sword in his hand just a little higher.
It was almost slow motion. The Peacekeeper came at him. He swung his sword with deft hands. It was the most natural feeling as he cut the Peacekeeper's head off. Then he turned just in time to see his brother get shot in the neck. Connor's lifeless body fell to the ground and Ajax's heart shattered into a million pieces.
Ajax roared, killing two more Peacekeepers. A female Peacekeeper sent a tranquilizer into his side. Within seconds, he passed out.

Butterscotch shuffled out of bed, a yawn escaping her small mouth. Today was a very important day to everyone else but her. Today was the day she and her classmates found out who was top of their class.
Of course, Butterscotch would be at the bottom. She despised - no, loathed fighting. Not because she was sensitive, but because she hated sweating. She hated anything dirty. Anything that made her less than absolutely gorgeous.
Taking her time, she showered and got dressed. She put on a flowing purple dress and black flats.
Butterscotch couldn't hear her father opening the door to allow five Peacekeepers in, couldn't hear them take her brother, Ramen, into custody. But she heard them when they barged into her room and began ransacking it.
"What are you doing?" she questioned innocently, her fingers raking through her long hair.
They ignored her, but she didn't really care. She had nothing to hide. However, she was the tiniest bit curious about why they were there.
As they lifted her bed, a slip of paper came out. On it was a time, a date, and a location. "What's this?" a Peacekeeper demanded, holding the slip up.
Butterscotch shrugged, the tiniest bit of anxiety building up inside. "I have no idea."
He flipped it over. "It has your name on it."
"It does?" Butterscotch could feel herself beginning to sweat. That made her irritated. She'd do nothing against the Capitol. She was privileged enough to just live there.
"Butterscotch Dime, you're under arrest for the act of being a traitor." Two Peacekeepers grabbed her arms and pulled them across her back. She let out a gasp of pain.
She tried to stop them, but it was futile. They dragged her out of her room, down the stairs.
She spotted her dad, who looked at her in disappointment. "Dad, please. I didn't do anything. Please, I-I swear!" She tried to walk closer to her dad. He just turned away and left the foyer.
The Peacekeepers dragged her outside and threw her into the back of a vehicle. Her brother sent her a sad smile. Butterscotch glared at him. "What did you do, Ramen?"
Ramen shrugged. "Something that needed to be done."

"Kearney!" a voice called through the computer, shocking Damian from his sleep.
"What?" he questioned, rubbing his eyes. At the moment, he was in the basement at his house. The whole night he had been sending encrypted files to District 13. It was finally morning, and he had to get going to school soon.
"Peacekeepers are outside your house."
Damian shot up. "Are they coming inside?"
"Yep."
Within seconds, Damian wiped his computer, destroyed a hard drive. He had given all his information to District 13, so he needed nothing. He shoved his stuff into a hidden cupboard, grabbed his backpack, and headed upstairs. He fully intended to make it to school safely.
As soon as he saw the Peacekeepers, he knew that would not happen. They grabbed his arms as soon as he was in the kitchen. His mother was sobbing. His father had his hands on the sink. His little brother, Andrew, stared up at him, his eyes confused.
"Damian, what's going on?" Andrew asked, walking up to his brother and grabbing his shirt.
Damian knew it was over. Either he was going to die or something else. "Listen, Andrew, I'm going to go away. Probably for a long time, okay? I need you to stay strong."
Andrew nodded before hugging his brother.
Then the Peacekeepers took him out of his home. However, there was a smirk on his face. The Capitol wouldn't know what hit them when District 13 came back.

Brooke Delmare was irritated. However, she didn't let anyone see it. Three years ago, her mother had been taken to the Capitol, turned into an Avox. At the time, she hadn't understood what happened. But she was eleven. Now she was older and understood what she had to do to be with her mother once again.
Brooke crouched behind a house. The sounds of crickets chirping in the silence of night calmed her nerves. She kept telling herself it was the only way she'd be with her mom again. Taking a deep breath, Brooke lit a match. She stood up next to the open window and lit a curtain on fire. She looked inside and saw a kid sleeping soundly.
Maybe she should have felt bad, felt guilt. But she didn't.
She waited there until she was sure the house would burn down before moving onto the next one. By the time she had set fire to the fourth house, she could hear the screams.
People came out of their houses, gasping at the sight. Brooke thought it was beautiful. The flames against the night sky, shedding light on anything within a five-mile radius.
"I did it!" she screamed, waving her hands around. She caught a Peacekeeper's eye and waved happily.
She couldn't hide the smile as she was taken into custody. In fact, her smile didn't fall off her face until she woke up without a tongue. She vomited when she got the taste of blood. But she just kept telling herself she'd find her mom.
Brooke never did.

Luka didn't really know what was going on. All he knew was that he and his mom were never going back to District 3. His mom held tightly to his hand as they walked through the overgrown brush.
He was tired and hot. "Mom," he whined. "When can we stop?"
"Please, Luka. We need to keep going. We're not far enough away from the district yet." His mom pulled him farther along.
"Ugh, fine." He followed his mom with an annoyed expression on his face.
By the time the sun started to set, they had stopped twice. His mom found a covered area and set up a simple shelter. Luka cuddled close to his mom, the heat of the day turning cold.
"I love you, Luka," she whispered.
"I love you too, Mama."
In the middle of the night, Luka awoke to his mom being roughly pulled away from him. He pivoted, eyes landing on a Peacekeeper. Then he met his mom's eyes right before they shot her in the head. Her body fell to the ground, her neck tilted in an odd angle.
Luka cried. He barely noticed the Peacekeeper grabbing his arm and pulling him into a hovercraft. His mom was gone. He couldn't believe it.
"Mom!" he screamed, trying to get to her, his shock finally wearing off. Maybe she was still alive. Maybe he could save her. The Peacekeeper injected him with something and he was out within seconds.

A shrill shriek echoed through the training room. "YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS!" Kate Dobru screamed at her trainer. "SHE'S THE WORST AT EVERYTHING!" The trainer backed up, a frightened expression on her face.
Kate turned toward Rachel - who had just been told she was at the top of the class. "I'll kill you," she muttered, her hand secretly grabbing a knife. A second later, Rachel fell to the ground, a knife in her neck.
The trainer ran towards Kate, but that caused her to get a knife in the stomach.
"I DESERVE TO BE AT THE TOP! I'M THE ONE WHO TRAINS ALL DAY EVERY. SINGLE. DAY," she screamed, her voice cracking.
Her class slowly backed away, all of them surprised by Kate's sudden tantrum.
Kate's brown eyes held madness as she grabbed a sword and swung it. "I'LL PROVE IT! COME ON! WHO WANTS TO FIGHT ME? I'LL KILL YOU BEFORE YOU GET A CHANCE TO PROTECT YOURSELF."
Peacekeepers slowly made their way in, but Kate heard them. She turned and let out a deranged scream as she ran toward them. A shot was fired. Something hit Kate's arm. She tripped over herself, the sword landing in her leg. She screamed before she passed out.
When she woke up, her leg was bandaged and she no longer had a tongue. In her mind, she told herself she'd get revenge.

Kai was on top of the world. In two weeks, he would volunteer for the Reaping and he'd come home victorious. He just knew it.
As he walked through District 4, he winked at multiple girls. They all giggled and blushed, making Kai's smirk widen.
"Hey! Saunton! Getting ready to die?" a male voice called down an alley.
Kai stopped immediately. No one has any right to taunt him. He spun on his heel and his eyes landed on Justin Polly. Kai had beat him for the volunteer spot. "You're just jealous," he called back, a glare on his face.
Justin smiled evilly. "Maybe. But I know you'll die probably as soon as you get in that arena. I'll gladly watch, wishing it was me who gets to stab you."
"What is your problem?" Kai walked into the alley, getting into Justin's face.
Justin pushed him. "You're my problem, princess."
Kai snapped. Princess had been his nickname when he was younger. Until he had gone through puberty, he had looked like a girl. Kai had always hated the name and Justin calling him it had been the last straw.
He punched Justin in the face, sending the man falling backwards. He jumped on him, hitting his face repeatedly. Justin was screaming like a girl, the shrill sound cutting through the air.
Someone screamed at him to stop. Someone tried to grab him off Justin, instead he punched them. He just kept hitting the man over and over again, blood getting all over his hands and clothes.
He felt something pierce his skin but kept hitting. He needed to teach Justin a lesson. Kai could no longer hear the screams, but maybe that was because he couldn't hear anything. His vision started going out. He collapsed onto Justin's barely breathing body.

Liza's fingers twitched. She stared up at her ceiling, replaying her mother's and father's deaths in her head. She remembered their warm blood leaking onto her hand as she slowly slid the knife across their necks. A smile crept upon her face.
Her orphanage had locked her inside her room. She couldn't believe how stupid they were.
Liza gripped the butcher knife in her hand before opening her supposedly locked window. She was on the highest floor, but she had climbed down multiple times before. It was how she stole her knife.
Jumping the last couple feet, she landed gracefully; her smile turning deadly as her eyes landed on the house she had targeted the night before.
It took her less than a minute to pick the lock. She was quiet as she walked up the stairs. Liza peaked into a bedroom, finding a little girl around her age sleeping soundly. Liza nodded, the girl would sleep even more soundly after her parents were dead. She was doing the girl a favor.
As she made her way into the master bedroom, she sneaked to the father's side first. She lifted the knife up and, with all her strength, buried it into his neck. He was dead within seconds.
The mother shuffled closer to her husband, getting blood on her hand. Liza crawled onto the bed, standing above the woman. She opened her eyes, fear leaking into them. But she had no time to scream. Liza shoved the knife in her skull.
"Mommy, Daddy?" a small voice whispered.
Liza turned around, an excited grin on her face. "They can't hurt you anymore. I took care of them for you." With that, Liza grabbed the knife and jumped off the bed. Blood had made its way all over the front of her body. She patted the girl's shoulder before running out of the house and to the next one.
That house was the same, only there were three kids. All of them were under five years old. Liza pitied them. Parents were the worst, but they would be happy come morning. She killed the mother silently and quickly with a blow to the neck.
However, as she made her way to the father, he awoke with a gasp. His eyes landed on his wife and he jumped out of bed. He then spotted Liza, who jumped at him. He grabbed the hand that held the knife and gripped it tightly, causing Liza to scream out as she dropped the knife.
"What have you done?" he whispered in horror, examining her bloodied clothing.
Liza didn't answer, instead she bared her teeth and growled at him. The man narrowed his eyes, grabbing a scarf and wrapping her hands together. He escorted her outside. Peacekeepers were at the other house she had broken into. Liza could see the little girl crying hysterically. She scoffed.
The man brought her over to the Peacekeepers. One bent down and looked into her eyes. "Did you kill these people?"
"Yes," she said through gritted teeth, trying to escape. "And I would have killed more if I could've."
The Peacekeeper blinked in shock before pulling out a syringe. He placed it on the side of her neck and inserted her with something. She tried to bite his hand before passing out.

Creed smirked in excitement as he pressed the button he hoped would change the tide. An explosion sounded, and he watched the power plant be devoured by fire and smoke. He had done his calculations. The only people who were supposed to be there at the moment were Peacekeepers and a few Capitol officials doing some check ups.
"Creed! Creed!" a voice screamed in fear.
He spun as his girlfriend, Angela, launched herself into his arms. "What's wrong?" he asked, his heart dropping.
She pulled back, tears streaming out of her blue eyes. "Y-your family, C-Creed. T-they were in the p-power plant."
Creed felt like he was going to vomit. "What? But they weren't supposed to be going in today. They were supposed to be home."
Angela turned away, clearing her throat. Creed then noticed she had the detonator in her hands. He gulped. "Angie?"
She snapped her fingers, a dozen Peacekeepers coming out of nowhere. They put handcuffs on Creed and pushed him onto his knees. His girlfriend, the love of his life, turned back to him, her tears nowhere to be seen. "Sorry, baby, but I couldn't let you get away with being a traitor."
Something clicked in his mind. "Did you tell them to be there?" he asked, quietly.
Angela cringed. "Yeah."
Creed felt like he was going to explode. "How could you do that?"
She just shrugged before walking away. Creed tried to stand up and run after her, but a Peacekeeper hit him over the head.

"Stop, please, no," an old man cried. But it was too quiet for anyone else to hear. Except for Carla, who was walking by the alley.
She turned and looked down, watching as two boys from her orphanage beat the old man up. She ran down the alley. "Stop! Stop it!" she cried, grabbing one of the boy's shoulders. He pushed her off of him.
Carla watched in horror as the strongest boy landed a kick to the old man's neck. There was a crack that echoed loudly, shattering her heart.
The old man was dead.
The boys hid the body underneath an old blanket which, by the look of it, had been the old man's. They then turned to her. Carla backed up, fear seeping inside her. "Please, don't hurt me."
They smirked at each other. "Don't worry, we won't." But it was a lie.
They each took a turn kicking her head, making sure they knocked her out.
When Carla awoke, she sobbed, her head throbbing painfully. Standing, she realized it was late. She quickly made her way back to the orphanage and snuck upstairs to her room. Her younger sister, Katrina, shot up in their shared bed.
"Where have you been?" she asked.
"I'm sorry. I just lost track of time."
Katrina couldn't say anything, for a Peacekeeper, followed by the two boys from earlier came into the room.
"Check her for it," one boy said.
The Peacekeeper roughly grabbed Carla, causing her to cry out in pain. He patted her down and, from the inside of her jacket, pulled out a bottle of something clear. She gulped. "Morphling," the Peacekeeper said, gripping her arm painfully tight.
"See. We told you. She tried to sell some to us." The boy sent her a smirk, only she noticed.
"No. I didn't! They killed an old man! Down an alley! I can show you where! They hid his body under a blanket!" Carla cried. She knew this would not end in her favor.
The Peacekeeper rolled his eyes. "C'mon, kid." He pulled her out of the room.
Carla met Katrina's eyes. "No! No! My sister needs me! I won't go!" She pulled against the man, escaping from her grip. She grabbed Katrina and pulled her sister close. "I love you so much." Then the Peacekeeper injected her with something and she became woozy.
The last thing she heard before succumbing to darkness was her sister scream her name.

Jason's finger flew across the keyboard, putting in code so fast his companion, Elsa, could hardly read it. Then, he pressed enter and nothing would be going anywhere for a week.
He leaned back in his chair, a smirk on his face. He looked over at Elsa. "You should go. The Peacekeepers will be here any minute."
Elsa wrung her hands. "Jason, are you sure you don't want to come with me? We could run away to District 13 together."
Jason shook his head. That sounded amazing, but he had already come to terms with whatever the Capitol would do to him. "Sorry, Els. But they'll expect that. If I stay here, you can get to 13 much safer."
Elsa nodded before bending down and placing a soft kiss on his lips. "Do me a favor, when we take back Panem, don't be dead yet."
"I'll try not to," he said, his voice hoarse.
Elsa disappeared out of the room, leaving Jason to his fate.
When the Peacekeepers came in, they were shocked to see him. Jason grinned. "Hey, guys. Welcome to the party!"
A Peacekeeper rolled his eyes, lifted their gun up, and shot a dart into his neck. Jason pulled it out, examined it, and chuckled. He passed out in the chair, a smile still on his face.
