Rachel had stopped in the middle of an alleyway and placed Tina down on her feet so that she could try to catch her breath, Tina however was still in shock about what happened so she just collapsed to her knees as she said, "I...I killed him, I...I didn't even think about what I was doing and I...I just killed him in cold blood..."

Meanwhile Rachel was leaning against a wall trying to catch her breath while she thought to herself, "Thanks guys, way to just leave me with our leader on verge of having a mental breakdown." Before she then grabbed her bow that was covering her Faunus ears and pulled it off as she said, "Stupid bow." Before she then tried to comfort Tina as she knelt beside her and said to her, "It's going to be Ok Tina, we just need to get back to Haven Academy and explain what happened, alright?"

And Tina looked at Rachel with a few tears falling from her face as she replied, "How? How is this going to be Ok Rachel? We failed the mission, I killed someone in cold blood! And more importantly Ashe and Edward have left us. I was supposed to be the one to bring this team together and yet...I just drove us apart."

Then Tina's scroll buzzed and when she looked at it she saw she had a message from her girlfriend, so she opened it and more tears started falling from her face as it read, "SapphireStar: Ashe told me what happened, h-how could you do something like that? It's over...we're over." And in that moment Tina felt her heart shatter into a million pieces, the one girl that had made her happy and cared for her had just dumped her without even giving her a chance to explain her side. She threw her scroll against the wall out of frustration, but she also felt a deep sense of anger towards her Team mate.

Once Rachel had glanced over at the message on Tina's scroll, she too felt deep anger towards her Team mate as her eyes flickered gold before she closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths to calm herself before she took out her scroll and tried to calmly type a message to both of her Team mates as she typed, "OrangeKitKat: If I were either of you, then I would suggest you stay away from Tina at the moment. I don't even want to think about what will happen if she finds you."

Rachel then pulled Tina into a hug and gently rubbed the back of her head as her leader sobbed on her, deep down Rachel knew Tina's emotions would likely attract Grimm but all she could really do at the moment was try to comfort her friend and her leader as best she could, once Tina had calmed down a little Rachel stood up and started walking a little before she looked back at Tina with a smile as she said to her, "Come on, let's get back to the Academy as we're not far."

But Tina remained on her knees with tears still streaming down her face and she stared at Withering Rose in her hands as she sniffled in reply, "I have nothing to go back to at the Academy Rachel, my girlfriend dumped me, and I am nothing but a failure, there is no point in me living anymore..." before she then tried to stab one of her blades into herself before Rachel rushed back to stop her before she pulled Tina up to her feet and looked into her grey eyes as she said to her,

"Listen to me Tina, you are nota failure, so what we failed one mission there are plenty of others we can do, Ok? And trust me, you have plenty to live for and I'm sure Sapphire will want to work things out with you and if I can be honest...I think that text from Sapphire shows that she is afraid of breaking your heart in person so she did over text as she thought it would be less painful. I know you feel really shitty right now but things will get better I promise. So please, let's just try and get back to the Academy in one piece."

Meanwhile at Haven Academy...

Tanya was yelling at Ashe outside of Team STRM'S dorm room, "HOW COULD YOU EVEN THINK OF DOING SOMETHING LIKE THIS SCHNEE? YOU KNEW TINA LOVED SAPPHIRE! HELL YOU'RE THE ONE THAT EVEN GOT THEM TO ADMIT THEIR FEELINGS TO EACH OTHER IN THE FIRST PLACE!"

Ashe scowled at Tanya as she yelled back at her, "YEAH WELL, SAPPHIRE DESERVED TO KNOW THE TRUTH THAT HER GIRLFRIEND IS A PSYCHOPATH!" Edward then stepped in as he said to Ashe,

"Ashe, I think you are taking this a little too far, sure Tina killed one person but that doesn't make her a psychopath."

Then Ashe scowled at Edward as she replied, "And how long before Tina kills someone else in our next mission, or the mission after that? Tell me, I'd love to know." And before Edward or Tanya could have a chance to say anything, the door to Team STRM's dorm opened as Sapphire poked her head out with tears streaming down her face as she simply said to Ashe,

"Go. Away. Schnee. Because of you, I just broke Tina's heart without giving her the chance to explain her side of what happened. I loved Tina, and I still do. And when she gets back I want to try and make things right."

Then Tanya stood there next to Sapphire with a concerned look on her face as she said to her, "Sapphire...you can't be serious about wanting to date Tina again, you deserve better than her." And Sapphire looked at Tanya with a determined look in her eyes as she replied,

"I am serious about dating Tina again Tan, and if anything she deserves better, don't even try and talk me out of it besides when did you start taking her side anyway?"

And Tanya stood there and looked at Ashe before looking back at Sapphire as she said, "I'm not taking Ashe's side Sapphire, I just think that...Schnee might have a point. What happens if Tina does kill someone again? She'd be no better than those Dark huntsman that hang out in the lower parts of Mistral. And what if she tries to kill you? I'm just trying to look out for you that's all."

Sapphire still stood there with a determined look in her eyes as she replied, "Tina would never do anything to hurt me, I hurt Tina's feelings so I have to try and fix things with her, and who cares if Tina had killed someone because I'm sure she didn't mean to. Look if Tina is going down the wrong path then she needs someone to help her and keep her on the right path. You guys may have abandoned her but I won't. End of."

Edward then started to slowly walk back towards their dorm room and gently tugged on Ashe's sleeve as he frowned a little and said to her, "Come on Ashe let's go, we've caused enough damage for one night." And with a huff Ashe followed Edward back to their dorm room.

Back to Rachel and Tina...

Rachel took Tina's hand into her own as they dashed from alleyway to alleyway, trying to avoid being seen by the Mistral Police and get back to Haven Academy in one piece while occasionally stopping Tina from trying to kill herself, before they stopped at an alleyway with Haven Academy in view as Tina looked at Rachel and asked her, "Why?"

And Rachel looked a little confused at the question as she answered, "Why what?" and Tina continued to look into Rachel's turquoise eyes as she asked again rephrasing the question,

"Why did you stay when everyone else left me?"

So Rachel stood there for a moment as she thought about her answer before she looked back at Tina with a smile on her face as she replied, "Why wouldn't I stay? I helped you start talking with Sapphire and I could see how happy you are with her, and...because I don't believe you did what you did tonight without a reason. So I wanna give you a chance to hear you out."

Tina was conflicted as she looked confused but at the same time she knew she had to be truthful with her friend and Team mate, so she took a couple of deep breaths before she slowly said, "I...I honestly don't know what came over me, I was chasing Lillian Maple then this really tall looking Splintered Fang member showed up with a chainsaw, and then...Lillian mentioned she murdered my birth parents and I just...snapped. then...everything went black and the next thing I saw was that Splintered fang member lying on the floor with his head removed from his body and Lillian was nowhere to be seen. That's when you guys showed up..."

Rachel then stood there looking at Tina for a moment as she let her words sink in before she eventually replied, "Well...it sounds to me like you went into something people would describe as a "blind rage" which means you don't really think clearly and you attack the first thing in front of you, which in your case happened to be that Splintered Fang member. But it's Ok, we'll get through this, we just have to get back to the Academy and explain to Professor Pine what happened and I'm sure he will understand."

Then suddenly, Rachel's ears twitched as she could hear the low snarling of Grimm and she thought to herself, "Great, a Grimm attack is the last thing we need right now. As if things couldn't get any worse than they are already." Before she looked at Tina and let out a sigh as she said, "You're gonna have to trust me on this Tina, as I am gonna have to use the last of my Aura I have left to create a distraction so that we can get back to the Academy safely."

Tina just nodded her head in understanding as she replied, "I trust you Rachel, Just get us back to the Academy safely." So Rachel placed her hands on Tina's shoulders and closed her eyes as she tried to concentrate and amplify her semblance as Tina's purple Aura started glow before then very slowly clones of her started to appear one by one until Rachel had reached her limit as she collapsed.

And Tina quickly caught her in her arms as Rachel panted trying to catch her breath and looked around in slight disappointment with herself as she was only able to make five clones of Tina using her semblance on her before Tina looked down at her slightly exhausted friend and Team mate as she said to her, "Take it easy, I'm sure these clones will be more than enough to create a distraction."

Rachel looked up at Tina and slightly smiled as she replied a little out of breath, "Easy for you to say, you've never used your semblance on someone else before, but...I suppose you're right and this will have to do for now." Before the clones of Tina then started to scatter in different directions as Rachel and Tina tried to make a dash for the Haven Academy entrance.

They were able to reach the steps leading up to the Academy before a Boarbatusk Grimm came charging towards them, and both Tina and Rachel braced themselves for impact, an impact that never came as out of the corner of her eye Tina noticed a familiar purple robotic arm that was protecting them and Tina soon realised that her mother Michelle had come to her rescue.

In one swift motion Michelle swung her other fist into the Boarbatusk Grimm bouncing it off the ground before firing a shot from her gauntlet turning it into dust, before Michelle turned to Rachel and Tina with a smile on her face, which confused Tina a little as her mother asked to them, "You kids alright? What were you even doing outside the Academy this late at night anyway?"

Rachel frowned a little at Michelle as she sheepishly replied, "We were doing a bounty hunt mission Ms. Cass, and...it went horribly wrong and our target escaped and so we failed the mission. And we were trying to get back to Academy as soon as we could, but...it's not exactly easy when half of your Team mates have ditched you and your leader is so depressed they tried to take their own life any chance they had."

Michelle looked at both Rachel and Tina for a moment before she let out a sigh as she said to them, "I was hoping I could tell you this when I felt you were ready to know but I guess desperate times call for desperate measures..." she paused for a moment thinking of how she could explain this next part before she continued, "Tell me, what's your favourite fairytale?"

And at hearing those words, Rachel was a little confused as to what was going on so she took a moment to think before she answered, "The one about the Maidens, as I remember my birth mother telling me that story when I was a kid." And Michelle smiled at them for a moment before she took a deep breath as she said to them,

"Well, what if I told you that the Maidens are real and that I am one of those Maidens?"

Tina looked surprised at hearing her mother say those words, as she said to her, "Y-you're a Maiden? Why didn't you tell me this before mom?" and this time, Michelle frowned a little as she replied,

"There were many times where I wanted to tell you, but...both me and Ruby agreed it would be better to wait until you were ready before telling you as we weren't sure how you might react or worried you might think you were a Maiden too. And...I'm not the only Maiden as your grandmother Raven, she's a Maiden too."

Rachel then stood there as she smiled at Michelle as she said, "I think I get why you kept it a secret from Tina until now, but...there is one thing I don't quite get, as in the story there are four Maidens and so if You're one of the Maidens and Raven is another then...that means there should be two more Maidens in the Fall Maiden and the Summer Maiden."

Michelle then had a serious look on her face as she replied, "Well, it's not as simple as you think as a Maidens Powers can only be transferred to the person they had in their final thoughts and...you might think that is a good thing but in reality it could mean that a Maiden might have the person who was hunting them in their final thoughts so sometimes their power could end up in the wrong hands." Before she then added, "Anyway though, it is pretty late so you two should think about getting some rest as you will have classes again in the morning."

And Rachel nodded her head as she yawned a little and said to Michelle, "Yeah, we should probably try and get some rest for now as we have had one hell of a night, and try to focus in our classes in the morning."

The next day...

Classes had started the next day, and Tina and Rachel were sitting with the rest of their Team mates in Edward and Ashe, even if it felt a little uncomfortable for them, meanwhile Sapphire was sitting with the rest of Team STRM and every time she looked at Tina all she could do was frown as she felt bad for what she did to her yesterday.

Professor Oobleck was busy whizzing around the room animatedly whilst he was giving his lecture as he said, "And that students is why we must learn from our mistakes in history, or else we are doomed to repeat it." And as the end of lesson buzzer rang, the students began filing out of the room in quick fashion as Professor Oobleck was busy handing them their next assignment to complete.

Once they got out into the hallway, Sapphire slowly walked over to Tina and said to her, "We...we need to talk." So Tina motioned for her Team to go on to lunch without her as she stood across from Sapphire in the hallway outside Professor Oobleck's classroom.

It was silent between the two for a moments, before Tina broke the silence as she looked at Sapphire in a little confusion as she said, "What's up?" and some tears started to form in Sapphire's eyes and she tried to hold them back as she replied with a slight frown on her face,

"Listen, I...I'm sorry I broke up with you and broke your heart yesterday Tina, it wasn't fair for me to do that to you without giving you a chance to explain your side of what happened, and so...if you're willing to tell me then...I'll be willing to listen."

Then Tina had a frown on her face as she said to Sapphire, "You know what you did yesterday really upset me Saph, and...I even tried to take my own life multiple times but thankfully my Team mate Rachel helped me see the brighter picture, as for what happened well...we were taking a bounty hunt mission and...it went horribly wrong when I learned that our target Lillian Maple was responsible for my birth parents deaths so I went into what people call a "blind rage" so in my anger I...I killed a member of the Splintered Fang in quite the brutal fashion. And now because of that my Team mates think I am a monster, well everyone except for Rachel thinks I am monster anyway."

After hearing Tina's words, Sapphire's frown deepened a little as she tried her best to hold back her tears as she replied, "Yeah...when Ashe told me what happened and what you did, she made me make the worst mistake by breaking up with you because...despite your flaws Tina, I...I love you. And I even heard Ashe call you a psychopath. But despite all of that I still love you because you make me happy and I can see that I make you happy as well so...would you be willing to give me a second chance and start over?"

Tina then walked over to Sapphire, and Sapphire expected a slap or to be yelled at for what she did, except none of those things happened as Tina pulled Sapphire into the tightest hug she could muster as she said to her with tears streaming down her face and a smile, "You idiot! Of course I will give you a second chance or a third chance or a fourth chance or however many chances it takes, because...I love you too, come on let's go and get some lunch together, my beautiful star."

Later...

After Tina and the others had lunch, they went back to their dorm room to work on their assignments but Tina glared at Ashe with seething rage in her eyes and Rachel tried her best to calm her down as she said to her, "Easy Tina, chill, I know your angry with Ashe believe me I am too, but I don't think violence will solve anything right now."

And Tina was trying her best to keep herself from lunging at Ashe and taking her anger out on her, so she sat there on her bed gripping her covers as hard as she could before she closed her eyes and took a couple of deep breaths to try and calm down before she turned to Rachel and tried to sound as calm as possible as she replied, "Get me in the arena, with that fucking stuck up princess...NOW!"

Rachel was a little shaken by Tina's reaction, but she nodded her head in silence and went to leave the room when she was stopped by Edward as he said to her with a slight frown on his face, "You can't possibly think putting Tina in the arena with Ashe in the mood she is in is a good idea, Rachel? Sure I'm just as bad as Ashe for leaving you guys, but if we put Tina in the arena with Ashe in the mood Tina is in she will try to kill her!"

Then Rachel's eyes flickered gold for moment as she replied to Edward with a hint of anger in her voice, "I know Tina will try to kill Ashe with the mood she is in at the moment Eddie! but what's the alternative? Do we sit here and do nothing while they beat the hell out of each other? At least in a controlled environment like the arena, the Teachers can step in if they think Tina is taking things too far. Now get out of my way!"

Edward just stood to one side allowing Rachel to leave the room, knowing better than to argue with her even if she did have a point. But as Rachel stormed out of the room he thought to himself, "I have a bad feeling about this." Before running after Rachel leaving Ashe and Tina alone in the dorm room.

Just then, Tina's Grandfather Qrow walked into her dorm room and smiled at Tina before he looked at Ashe as he said to her, "Can I have a moment alone with my granddaughter please?" and Ashe just scoffed at him as she replied,

"Fine I suppose, we'll be heading to arena later to blow off some steam anyway." Before walking out of the room, being sure to slam the door behind her. Leaving Qrow and Tina alone in the room together before Qrow smiled at Tina as he said,

"How are ya doing kiddo? Word on the street is that you killed a member of the Splintered Fang in quite the brutal fashion, so, either they're lying or you're crazy."

And Tina took a deep breath before she looked at her Grandpa with a frown on her face and replied, "I'm fine Grandpa, but...they're not wrong Grandpa." And Qrow just leaned against the wall of Tina's dorm room as he said,

"Crazy. Got it."

Tina then looked at her Grandpa with a frown still on her face as she retorted, "I'm not crazy Grandpa, I just...took things a little too far that's all. And now half of my Team thinks I'm a monster or a psychopath according to Ashe. I take it you think I'm a monster too?" Qrow took a sip from his flask before he looked at Tina with a smile as he said,

"Tina...kiddo, I don't think you're a monster and being called a psychopath is stretching things a little far, look, all I'm saying is that I think you are just...misguided and having someone like Sapphire around might help keep you grounded and stable. I heard you and Sapphire got back together not that long ago so here's hoping it works out for ya this time."

And Tina faintly smiled at her Grandpa as she replied, "Thanks Grandpa, you and Rachel as well as Sapphire are about the only people who don't think I am a monster because I fucked up the mission and our target and my parents killer escaped, and things between me and Sapphire were going well the first time around but I made one mistake and Ashe blabs about it to Sapphire and fucked the whole thing up between us. I just hope I don't fuck it up this time."

Qrow was surprised at hearing the news about Tina's birth parents killer and almost choked on his flask before he asked her, "Whoa, slow down kiddo, what do you mean your parents killer?" and Tina took a deep breath before she looked at her Grandpa as she answered,

"Our target for the bounty hunt mission, was Lillian Maple, and right before she escaped she told me she was the one who killed my birth parents and...and I just snapped." Before she then let out a sigh as she added, "I always enjoy talking with you Grandpa, but for now I'm gonna go to the arena so I can blow off some steam."

The arena...

When Tina arrived at the arena, she saw that Ashe was already waiting for her and impatiently tapping her foot on the ground as she called out to her, "This was your idea Tina! So are we doing this or what?" and Tina smiled as she entered the arena and stood across from Ashe as she replied with a slight smirk on her face,

"Relax Princess, we are definitely doing this."

The central platform, which was used for duels raised up a few inches of the ground and Tina readied her weapon as Ashe did the same across from her before they then charged at each other as their weapons clashed against each other, making a small shockwave between them.

Ruby and Michelle then entered the arena as they saw Rachel and Edward watching the match between their Team mates on the big screen as Ruby said with a cheery smile on her face, "Hey guys, what's going on?" and Rachel spun around and smiled as she saw Ruby with Michelle before she replied,

"There's a bit of tension in our Team right now Ruby, so we are letting Ashe and your daughter Tina settle their differences in the ring."

Meanwhile on the big screen, Tina landed a kick against Ashe's midsection, except her kick had a little extra force behind it than she would normally use knocking the wind out of Ashe momentarily as her red Aura glowed a little before Ashe looked at Tina in slight confusion as she said to her, "Do you even understand how duels work? Because that kick just now felt a little stiffer than it should have been."

But Michelle could see the look on Tina's face on the screen as it looked more like she was pissed off than actually trying to have a friendly spar to relieve stress or tension so Michelle looked at Ruby worriedly as she asked her, "Do you think that we should step in Rubes? You know before someone gets seriously hurt?"

Ruby just obliviously smiled at Michelle as she answered, "There's nothing to worry about darling, umm if the fight does start to get out of hand then maybe I think we should step in before someone gets seriously hurt or worse." And so Michelle just looked back at the screen and the duel that was happening, concerned about her daughter's temper and Ashe's safety.

As the duel continued, Ashe's Aura was close to the red meanwhile Tina's Aura looked practically untouched as it was still in the green and both Tina and Ashe were breathing heavy but for completely different reasons as the two dropped their weapons on the ground and charged at each other as they traded right and left hands with each other as well some pretty stiff kicks with each other.

While Tina and Ashe were busy trading punches and kicks with each other, the buzzer signalling that Ashe's Aura had gone into the red sounded but neither of them cared as they continued to trade punches and kicks with each other as Ruby was now suddenly growing concerned at the fact one of them might end up seriously hurt as she turned to Michelle with a worried look on her face as she said, "Umm Ok Michelle, now I think we should step in, before someone ends up seriously hurt.

And Michelle made her way down to the arena along with Ruby, as Ashe and Tina were still busy trading punches and kicks with each other in the centre as both of their Aura's were glowing threatening to shatter which also caused Edward and Rachel to panic.

Tina then knocked Ashe to the ground with a stiff right hook to her jaw before she heard her parents calling over to them as they said, "That's enough you two, this fight is over." And Ashe laid on the ground holding her jaw as she cursed at Tina, "Fucking psychopath!" to which Tina was quick to fire back with,

"Stuck up bitch!"

Before both Ruby and Michelle stood in between the two girls as Michelle looked at both of them in turn as she said to them, "I said that's enough! I'm not repeating myself again. Am I clear?" and Tina grumbled under breath,

"Yes mum."

Ruby then helped Ashe up to her feet before she said to both Tina and Ashe, "Something is going on between you two, and umm we wanna know what. But umm first you're both going to get some rest to let your Aura recover then we are going to have a chat and sort this out. Understand?" and Ashe grumbled in reply,

"Yeah, I understand."

Then Ruby looked at Tina as she said to her, "Tina? Do umm you understand what I just said?" and Tina stood there as she tapped her foot on the ground as she grumbled in reply,

"Yes mum, I understand." Before Ruby's cheery smile then returned on her face as she said to both of them,

"Good, now go to your dorm. Now!"
