Movie Night Conversations-Prinxiety
Virgil cuddled up to Roman's shoulder, watching yet another Disney movie. He would complain, but he secretly likes them anyway.
He feels a hand brush his bangs out of his face, a small kiss placed on his forehead before Roman turns away.
Virgil turns his head to look up at Roman to find the prince looking back at him.
"What are you staring at, Princey?" Virgil teases with a flick to the other's forehead.
"You. It took me a very long time to realize how...special, you are." Roman wraps his arms around Virgil fully, Virgil scoffing.
"Special, meaning I'm crazy." Virgil's only half-teasing when he says this, so sue him for the tiny resentment he has over what's been said in the past.
"No, not crazy. Special meaning wonderful. You're wonderful, Virgil, and I can't believe it took me this long to notice." Roman smiles, pulling the other even closer to him.
"No one's ever really told me things like that. You know, big bad anxiety, doesn't know what he's doing, always messing things up for Thomas." Virgil sighs just a little at the end, covering himself up with a blanket.
Roman pulls the blanket down to see the other's face. "I can't say I didn't have that opinion too. But getting to know you and being with you for this whole year shows me that you are very different from what people say or assume of you." Roman presses a sweet kiss to the other's lips, smirking at Virgil's purr.
Virgil is quiet, tucking his head under Roman's chin, breathing a sigh of contentment when Roman puts his own head on top of Virgil's.
"You know, Roman. I wouldn't have believed you a year ago, but I believe you now if that means anything." Virgil can feel his face flushing and knows Roman is too, hopefully, that will let Roman know what Virgil is saying is the truth.
"That means so much to me, actually it means Everything to me." Roman responds with a kiss as the two fall asleep, unaware of Patton with a video camera outside the door.
