Cabba's Outrageous Missions: Chapter Fourteen- "Those Were The Days!"
Planet Sadala, Renso's Cabin (One hour after Lunch)
After eating his lunch, Cabba flies away from the Sadala Defense Academy and goes to his master's cabin. Before going on his mission with his team, he got a call from Renso, saying that he needs to talk to him. This is private, so Cabba doesn't have to invite his friends over. He understood and tried his best not to tell his team members what he's going to do after their mission is done. He sees the cabin and flies downward to it. He lands on the welcome mat and knocks on the door. Once the door is open. Renso is facing his pupil, wearing his robe and normal relaxing clothes on. He tells Cabba to come in and take a seat. When Cabba does come in and take a seat on the couches, he looks at his right and makes a terrified expression.
Cabba: C-Caulifla!? Why are you doing here!? (Points at Caulifla)
Caulifla: (Grunts, while looking away from Cabba) I'm here, because my brother told me to come here. I don't know why, but he warned me to come or he'll send the SDF elites to the hideout. What an annoyance he is!
Renso: (Comes into the living room with two drinks) Don't be so grumpy about it, sis! I invited you and Cabba so that we can have a good conversation. (Gives Cabba and Caulifla a drink) Drink! I'd made some hot chocolate.
Cabba: Thank you! (Drinks hot chocolate) It's delicious!
Caulifla: (Drinks hot chocolate) It's not that bad, but why are you talking to us? I haven't done anything bad lately and Cabba's a good person, who will follow any rule you give him. (Points at Cabba)
Cabba: (Blushes) Y-You are right about that. Renso? Why are we doing here?
Renso:...Well the reason why I call you two here is that...it's the third anniversary of "her" passing. (Makes a sad expression)
Cabba: Oh. (Makes the same sad expression) I know what you mean.
Caulifla (Raises her eyebrow) I don't! What kind of third anniversary do you mean!?
Renso: Marionette. She was my girlfriend, co-captain of my choosing, and babysitter to you and Caulifla. Three years ago, she was at her prime and was willing to do whatever it took to protect our relationship. Even if that meant that she had to… (Looks away)
Cabba: "Don't be sad. I know that Marionette did her best to protect us and not kill you. She was a nice person. (Smiles)
Caulifla: NO! She wasn't! She was creepy, couldn't let her eyes off of us, and doesn't say any more words! Why is she so important in your life!? (Points at Renso)
Renso: You don't remember why she was so important to me? I saved her from becoming a greater threat to the universe and that's how you want me to say? Why she's so important in my life!? Why is she so important in my life!? (Looks at Caulifla and Cabba with tears running down his cheeks) WHY IS SHE SO IMPORTANT IN MY LIFE!? You should know why! Maybe you need a reminder of why she was so important to me! To you! (Points at Caulifla)
Caulifla: Wow! I've never see you cry so much over one crazy-
Cabba: (Covers Caulifla's mouth) I think that we need to listen to what Renso has to say about Marionette. (Looks at Renso with a nervous expression) Do we?
Renso: (Calms down) T-Thank you, Cabba. Marionette did her best to protect you two, while I was gone for my mission. It all began about three years ago…
*Flashback- Planet Sadala, Renso's Cabin (Three years ago)
Renso[Narrating]: I was done training with Cabba in the backyard. We were tired from all of the dodging and shooting the bots that I just put up. When we came into the cabin, Caulifla was running around the living room, trying to get away from Marionette. Before I started the training with Cabba, I told Marionette to fix Caulifla some lunch and for us, when we were done. She made some stew and from the smell that came from the kitchen, it seems to taste so good, Caulifla, on the other hand, didn't want to taste the stew, due to the ingredients that were in it.
Caulifla: (Running away from Marionette) Get that spoon away from me! I don't want to try none of the stew that you made!
Marionette: … (Chasing Caulifla)
Renso: Caulifla! Why are you running away from Marionette?! She just made some stew and you're refusing to eat it. Is there something wrong with the stew!?
Caulifla: Hell yes there's wrong with the stew! She put a large insect in it! (Points at Marionette)
Cabba: (Shaking in fear) B-Bugs!? I can't eat bugs for lunch!
Renso: Don't worry, Cabba. She's making fun of us. Marionette? (Looks at Marionette)
Marionette: (Stops running and looks at Renso) Yes? What is it?
Renso: Did you put some insect in the stew?
Marionette: No. I put space crab in the stew, just like you asked. (Smiles)
Renso: There! She didn't put any bugs in the stew. Now apologize to Marionette and eat some lunch. (Looks at Caulifla)
Caulifla: (Grunts, before looking at Marionette) I'm sorry for believing that you had bugs in the stew!
Marionette: (Makes a blank expression) …
Renso: Hehehe! There's the blank look that I know and love so much! (Walks up to Marionette and hugs her)
Caulifla: (She's so creepy! Why is she here again!?)
Cabba: (Looks at Renso and Marionette) (She's a different person that I've never see on Planet Sadala. What kind of race is she?)
Renso[Narrating]: After taking care of the problem, we had our lunch. That was some good crab stew that she made. I got a call from the elite headquarters, saying that they need my help in investigating a crime scene. I was ready to leave and go to the mission, but Marionette told me about what to do about the children (Cabba and Caulifla), while I'm gone. I look into her eyes and said, "You keep an eye on them and don't let anyone hurt them. Those are my orders, until I come back. Got it?" Marionette just nodded her head and that was meant to be a yes to me. I left the cabin and headed to the headquarters. It only took about two hours for the mission to be complete. Me and the team had to take care of the criminals that were causing so much damage in the west city and arrest them. After taking care of the last few criminals, I flew back to my cabin to see, if Marionette and you two were okay. When I got back to the cabin, I saw a bunch of cobwebs around the house. It was the first time that I saw this and I felt something bad was going to happen. I landed on the welcome mat and tried to open the door, but it was stuck between something blocking the path. I shot the door open and ran inside. That was the worst decision that I've ever made. Caulifla! Cabba! Marionette! Where are you!? I'm back! (Hears some footsteps) What was that!? (Looks around the room)
?: Someone is back! We have to kill them, before they notice!
?: What!? That's a bad idea!
Renso: (Whoever is in this cabin is trying not to be heard. I have to search the entire room and find them, before it gets any worse.) Marionette! Can you hear me!?
?: Wait! What the (bleep) is that! AHHH!
Renso: It came from there! (Faces the right hallway/Runs into the hallway)
?: What is that thing!? I haven't seen it anywhe- Gahhhh!
Renso: (Hears some crunching sounds) This ain't good! [Narrating]: When I got to my bedroom, I saw two robbers, who were trying to steal some objects from the house. Marionette transformed into some kind of half person, half insect hybrid, after one of the robbers took Cabba and Caulifla. She covered the cabin in cobwebs and chased the robbers into my bedroom. She got one robber and bit into his neck. She kept chewing on his neck flesh and spits out some more cobwebs out of her mouth. As for the second robber, she ate his arm and was on the ground bleeding. I didn't know what to do about it, but I had to calm down Marionette, before she kills both of them. So, I walked to her slowly and tried to persuade her into letting go of the robber. It's okay! I'm here! You don't have to kill anyone!
Marionette (In her spider form): (Screeches, while holding the robber in her arms)
Robber #1: Please! Help me! She's a freak of nature! I'll turn myself in, just save me from this bitch!
Renso: Don't call her that! Marionette. (Hold onto one of her shoulders) You're fine. Nothing is going to happen. The children are safe. I'm here.
Marionette: R-R-Ren-Rens-Renso? (Tilts her head)
Renso: Yes! It's me! Now...Put the robber down and turn yourself back to normal. Okay? (Smiles)
Marionette: O-Ok-Okay! (Drops the robber and transforms back to normal)
Renso: (Grabs the robber and puts handcuffs on him) It wasn't that bad! Was it!?
Marionette: No. (Points to Caulifla's room) The children are in cocoons and are safe.
Renso: T-Thanks! I'll go get them. Stay here! (Runs into Caulifla's room)
Marionette: … (Makes a blank expression)
Renso[Narrating]: When I got to Caulifla's room, I saw two moving cocoons. I grabbed them both and ripped you out of there. Even though Marionette almost killed someone, she at least saved you, while I was gone. After the rest of the elites came to the house and took the robbers to jail, I noticed that Marionette was gone. She might had gone somewhere that I haven't known or had to take care of something. The cobwebs disappeared and the cabin was back to normal as well. I waited two hours for Marionette to come back and...and… It happened.
(Door knocks)
Renso: (Looks at the door) I'll get it! (Walks up to the door and opens it) Oh...my...GOD! [Narrating]: I should had opened that door! Marionette's body was on the welcome mat, with a hole in her head. She was shot in the head by a mysterious person or criminal, who I couldn't figure out. She was died, before I could confirm it! (Drops to the ground on his knees, crying) No! She c-can't be dead! NO!
*Flashback end
Renso: That was after the elites reported Cabba's mother's death, who had the same causes. We couldn't figure out what happened to the two bodies and we'll never will. As you can see by my tears, I miss her. She was a good person, when I first met her and she was the piece that made my life more simpler. (Crying)
Cabba: (Pats on Renso's left shoulder) I know how it feels to lose someone so close to you. Me and my father felt the same way, when we saw our mother's body in the kitchen. It's okay for you to feel this way. She was a good person. (Smiles)
Caulifla: Well...if she was that special to you, then… (Walks up to Renso and hugs him) I'm sorry for saying those things to you about her. I now know why she was so important to you.
Renso: (Blushes) C-Caulifla? You don't have to do this. I'm your older brother! I can take care of myself!
Caulifla: (Lets go of Renso) Ahem! Just to know, I'm still mad that you forced me into visiting you and him! (Points at Cabba) And don't tell this to anyone! Got it!?
Renso: Okay! I won't (Smiles)
Cabba: Okay! I won't either!
Caulifla: (Looks at Cabba with a threatening expression) Good! Because if you do, then I'll hunt you down and kill your ass!
Cabba: (Shaking in fear) Oh! Will you look at the time!? I have to go back to the school and meet with my team! (Speed walks to the door, opening it) Bye, master! I'll see you later! (Runs out of the cabin and flies away)
Renso: You really need to be more nice to Cabba. He's a senior level soldier.
Caulifla: I won't be nice to him in the slightest. (Walks to the door) It was..nice seeing you again. Bye! (Opens the door, walks out of the cabin and flies away)
Renso: (Looks at the ceiling, still smiling) (Marionette...I hope that your death was something good. I know that you were not the best social person, but you were a good person to me, my student, and Caulifla.) (Raises his glass to the ceiling) Here's to our third anniversary. (Drinks his glass)
Renso is glad the he let go of his guilt over Marionette's death. Cabba is also glad that Renso, his master is able to get through his life without Marionette, even though she was a creepy person to begin with. Caulifla is the most surprised that her brother was that attracted to a creepy lady that never says anything to anyone. They go back to their normal routine, once they go back to their normal settings.
*Flaschback-Planet Sadala, Renso's Cabin (Thee Years ago)
After Renso left the bedroom, to check on Caulifla and Cabba, Marionette heard a voice in her head. That was the first time that she heard her inner voice in a while. It told her to go to Cabba's house and dispose of a certain person. She nods and goes out of the bedroom through the window. She flies to the location, ready to kill her target.
Planet Sadala, Spinach's and Legumes's House
Spinach, Cabba's mother, was done washing the dishes. While Legumes was picking up Cabba from Renso's house, Spinach was cleaning the room, before going to bed for the night. When she turned around, she saw a person with a laser gun. It was Marionette and she points the gun to Spinach's head. Spinach tried to get the phone and call the police, but got shot in the leg by Marionette. She was on the ground, holding her bleeding knee. Marionette walked to Spinach and puts the gun to her head. "This is the last thing that you'll remember...The last feeling that you'll remember…and the last person that you'll see before going to the darkest parts of Hell!" were Marionette's words, before shooting the laser through Spinach's head. She fell to the ground on her back. Blood started to expand from behind on Spinach's head, spreading on the kitchen floor. Marionette was done with her objective and was about to leave the scene, until a mysterious figure appeared in front of her. It points the same laser gun to Marionette's head, preparing to kill her.
?: Time to die! You've done your objective really good, but you should had done that a few months ago. Do you have any last words?
Marionette: Yes...I would like to say that I love Renso. He's the piece in my life. He saved me from being a horrible person and I loved his personality. Even though I was forced not to speak a single word, Renso gave me the permission to speak. I know that he might worry of where I am, but...Can you do me a favor?
?: What is it that you want?
Marionette: I have two favors, actually. The first favor that I want you to do is that I want to see him again. The second favor that I have is...Don't hurt him or his sister. (Crying) T-They're the best people that I ever made friends with!
?: So be it! (Charges Gun) Prepare for you trip to Hell!
Marionette: (Closes her eyes) (This is goodbye! My love!)
The figure in black pulled the trigger and the laser goes through Marionette's head, spilling out some blood. She fell to the ground on her face and blood began to spread to the floor. She was died by all of the brain damage and blood lost. The figure dragged her body out of the house and cleaned the area. The figure hasn't dragged Spinach's body out, because that would cause some episodes. The figure left in time, before Legumes and Cabba came into the house and saw Spinach's dead body. The figure saw Renso's house and drops Marionette's body on the welcome mat. It knocked on the door, before leaving the area. That's how Marionette died, but by who? We'll never know…
