cMisaka sat back in her chair in frustration, like a phone book, if people wished, they could have their address put up on the net, but not for Touma. When it came to him nothing popped up, that confused her, Touma wasn't lazy but he was always exhausted. And in order to have your address removed from the public eye was a lot of paper work. Why would he spend the little energy he always had to wipe his address from the net? Weird.
But sure enough, whenever she put in his name all she would get was a bunch of unrelated news articles. She put her face into her hands and sighed in frustration, how was she not getting anything? Right when she finished that thought something caught her eye. Maybe these articles weren't so random after all.
"The directors of The Inside Of A Jinx's Life escapes lawsuit with nearly no punishment" Misaka whispered to herself, reading the title to a strange article. She clicked on it and started to read; it went as so.
The idea of following around a young boy at the age of 13 years old to film his seemingly endless number of unlucky shenanigans was extremely frowned upon at the start. However, the almost endless amount of online support propelled the project into motion. Thus, what began as an urban legend in a small rural town in japan, now started to become a TV series. The show's star was a young 13-year-old boy named Kamijou Touma, and the "plot" was trying to find out why he was at the center for an endless number of accidents held within the town. They seemed to wait outside his school and follow behind him on his way home, hoping to catch the boy in one of his famous misfortunate moments. Despite the numerous complaints put out from the parents, no restraining order could be made for the boy at the time, due to their low income they could not afford to take anyone to court. However, one day things turned dire, when a known assailant attacked the boy with a knife, jeopardizing his very life, the film crew were the first people on the scene. However, they displayed a complete lack of urgency for the boy's life, getting them accused of negligence with a minor. However
Misaka quickly closed the tab, a tide of mixed emotions washed over her. Shock, concern, and empathy, but the biggest one was guilt. Who the hell was she to look at this? She was prying into one of her closest friend's past without a hint of her knowledge. What would she feel like if someone did that to her? Creeped out and betrayed, period. She sighed in defeat; she wasn't going to be able to visit him at all. The best chance she had was to wait until she ran into him out of pure coincidence, she sulked in her defeat until she was interrupted by the sound of a chair drifting over to her desk.
Uiharu bumped into her with her rolling chair, and handed the electro master a slip of paper, she gave Misaka a smile as she took it. "I might have had to go a little deeper than usual. and by that, mean I might have hacked Anti-Skills personal record vault, but here is the address of one so-called idiot you might want." Uiharu gave her a wink as she rolled back to her desk.
"T-Thank you" she stuttered as Uiharu and Saten shooed her out of the judgment building whilst giggling. She stood outside on the sidewalk and looked at the slip of paper with shock and awe, her cheeks started to become red as she was thinking about what her friends were just insinuating, but she shook the thought out of her mind. After quickly entering the address in her phone, she took off in determination.
