Star Wars

The Supreme Commander

Chapter 13

The galaxy hadn't had a referendum in hundreds of years, and the Skywalker's had no idea what to expect. Clone forces along with local militias and rearmed battle droids were stationed across the galaxy, supervising the voting stations. Republic Cybersecurity was also on high alert, monitoring the voting stations for any attacks.

Anakin and Padme had already begun the process of moving into the Senate building, and the only remains of the apartment were some spare furniture along with some silverware and everything in the bedrooms.

To not appear biased, the Skywalker's had opted to stay home today, and Senator Organa was appointed President of Proceedings to watch over the vote and deliver the final tally. The Skywalker's watched as the votes came in and the respective Senator's transferred the information to the central computer.

"Seems like the majority of the galaxy is for the referendum so far," Anakin said as the first couple of votes came in.

"Anakin, I really don't want to be an Empress," Padme began, "I cherish the democratic values that have been instilled with us for generations."

"I know Padme, but we can do some serious good. Think about what we can do with the authority we would be granted. You could settle refugee crises, support education, and eradicate homelessness. I could wipe out slavery and dissolve criminal syndicates. The galaxy could be a much safer place if we can focus on our initiatives."

Padme thought about it, and the idea did intrigue her. She had always been bogged down in bureaucratic procedure, and the idea that she could be a benevolent ruler for the people did ease her concerns about this new order that could arise.

Behind them, Katooni sat, silent as a ghost and Anakin had almost forgotten she was there until she spoke up, "Vice-Chancellor," she began and Padme shot her look, "I mean Padme, I think that Master Skywalker is right, from what I've studied on your record, you've always been a bipartisan Senator, always doing what is right for the people and rarely giving up the fight. I think you would make a great Empress."

"I appreciate that Katooni," Padme said with a smile, "it's just how I was raised. Think about others before yourself. Speaking of which, Anakin tells me you're interested in some political training."

"If you think I can handle it," Katooni said, rather reservedly.

Anakin chuckled, "Katooni, you will continually be put out of your comfort zone under my tutelage. Every resource I have will go to your training, and I think some experience in politics will really help you on the diplomatic side of things."

Katooni smiled, "of course Master, thank you."

They turned back to the Holonet and watched as the numbers continually reported in. Padme and Katooni went to the kitchen to make some food and talk politics, and Anakin, R2, and Threepio were talking about the vote.

"Master Ani, if my calculations are correct with the current database on the galactic population and the voter turnout reported from the polling station, I estimate the odds of the vote passing are very high."

R2 beeped out an excited whistle and Anakin smiled. "Vote isn't over yet Threepio, but thanks for the update. What are Katooni and Padme talking about over there?"

"From what I can make out, Mistress Padme is telling the story of how you met. She's on the part of when she arrived on Tatooine," Threepio said and Anakin stood and walked over to the kitchen.

"Our starfighter was damaged and we needed to fix our hyperdrive. I was disguised as a handmaiden and went with Master Qui-Gon, Representative Binks, and R2 into Mos Espa to look for hyperdrive parts. We went into a junk dealer named Watto's shop and," she cut herself off.

"And?" asked Katooni.

Anakin could feel Padme hesitate at this part. He knew that she knew he wasn't very open about his past as a slave. Even now, he rarely mentioned his past and it still hurt to talk about. But he knew that in order for Katooni to understand him, he would need to tell her. Ahsoka had found out from Obi-Wan when they rescued the people of Kiros, but he knew he had to tell her.

"And that's where Padme found me," Anakin said darkly as he stepped around the corner, surprising both of them, "my mother and I were slaves." He had tried to be calm about it, but even now the pain of his childhood haunted him.

Padme hesitated before continuing, "we went back to his house and the next day, he won his freedom in a pod race. Master Qui-Gon brought him back to the temple and they evaluated him and let him into the order. He came back with us to Naboo where we faced down the Trade Federation. Your master blew up a droid control ship when he was nine years old which shut down the whole Droid Army. Master Qui-Gon actually was gonna train Anakin but sadly he was killed by Darth Maul on Naboo."

"So where is your mother now, did she ever get freed?" Katooni asked and a look of fear came across Padme's face. Katooni turned and saw a tear run down Anakin's face.

"No," Anakin said, "Padme, I want her to know my past and I want to tell her, but it's too painful. Tell her whatever you want, it's necessary that she knows. I'm going back into the room to watch the Holonet." Padme watched her husband go, and she didn't need the force to be able to tell that Anakin had come over here to tell Katooni himself, but he had found it was difficult for him.

As Anakin left the room, Padme's voice fell into a whisper. "Ten years later, there was an assassination attempt on my life. Master Kenobi and Anakin were assigned to protect me. Master Kenobi was sent to Kamino to investigate a weapon used to silence the would-be assassin and Anakin was my guardian. Anakin and I were on Naboo where we started falling in love, but he started getting visions of his mother in pain," Padme explained.

"Did they come true?" asked Katooni.

Padme continued, putting her question aside for a second, "he said he had to go save her and I came with him. We went to Watto and he said that she had been bought by a man named Cliegg Lars who bought her and freed her. They got married and we ventured out towards their homestead where we met them. They were moisture farmers and they told us Shmi had been captured by Tusken Raiders and they had sent out search parties but they were massacred. Cliegg lost his leg looking for her and encouraged Anakin not to go, but Anakin went anyways."

"Did he find her?" asked Katooni.

"Yes, he did," Padme said sadly, "he found her alive and she was barely hanging on to life. He untied her and held her in his arms. She was able to see her son all grown up and told her she loved him before she passed in his arms."

A tear rolled down Katooni's cheek, "that must have been awful. How did he cope with that?"

"Not well," Padme stated, turning to fill a cup up with water. She drank it before she continued, "Katooni, Anakin wanted me to tell you what happened, and I want to. I'm going to tell you what happened next, but please understand where he was coming from. He's not a bad man."

"I know that."

"Good. He still thinks about this all the time, and it's something he regrets to this day. After his mom died, he proceeded to slaughter everyone in the village. His mother was the only thing he had, and his dream was to free her and save her. To see his dream of freeing her die in his arms, it broke him."

"That's terrible."

"It is. I was back at the homestead talking to Cliegg, Owen, and Beru. They told me about their lives and we shared stories and talked politics. I hope that one day Anakin and I can visit them or bring them to Coruscant. I think Anakin needs to visit his mothers grave. It can help him recover and bring him closure."

"If it helps Master Skywalker, I would be in," Katooni said. She could even now feel the dark thoughts of Anakin in the other room, "I'm gonna go check on him."

She walked down into the room and watched as Anakin had his head in his hands. His back was shaking and Katooni would swear he was crying. She could only imagine how horrible his life before the Jedi had been. He seemed to sense her presence and before he could even move, Katooni had come from behind him sitting on the couch and gave him a hug. He brought his arms up and wrapped them around Katooni's which had wrapped themselves gently around his neck.

"I'm sorry this all happened to you Master," Katooni said, "Master Gallia was my aunt and I was saddened by her loss, but I can't imagine losing my mother."

"Thank you Katooni," Anakin sniffled as Katooni released her grip. She sensed immense sadness from her new master and hearing all of this made her choke up. She had never imagined her masters life had been like that.

"If there's anything I can do to help, just ask," Katooni said as she moved around the other side of the couch and sat next to him.

"It feels good to talk about it," Anakin said, "I need to try to move past it."

They were interrupted from their moment by Padme walking back into the room. R2 and Threepio had been silent in the back but moved in to join them as they watched the final votes get tallied.

"By a percentage of seventy-one to twenty-nine, I hereby declare that the Skywalker Dynasty Referendum has passed. I would like to congratulate Emperor and Empress Skywalker on their approval for this role in the government and may they be benevolent and efficient in their ruling."

Anakin and Padme looked towards each other. Anakin's eyes were still puffy and red but his face had formed into a smile.

"Congratulations Master!" Katooni exclaimed and R2 beeped an affirmation.

"Master Ani, Mistress Padme, I am elated to hear this news!" C-3PO said excitedly as he moved to hug Anakin with his shiny metallic arms.

Anakin hugged him back and then moved towards Padme who he caught in a big embrace and leaned down to kiss her forehead. "Angel, we're going to do great things together!"

"I hope so Ani," Padme said with a smile, though she wasn't entirely at ease with this, she knew she could do some good in this role.

"We have to make our advisory council for the throne," Anakin said, as he released her from the hug and looked down at her, "you can handle the politics and I'll handle the military."

It had been two weeks since the establishment of the Skywalker Dynasty, and Anakin and Padme sat in the newly fashioned Throne Room that had been redesigned from the Chancellor's Office. Anakin had picked his Military Council which consisted of naval officers the newly minted Grand Admiral Yularen, and Senator Jarek, who before being a Senator had been an officer in the Republic Navy.

On the Clone side, Rex, was now his Supreme Commander, and he would serve as the head of all Clone Army operations. Cody was serving as Director of Clone Affairs and the newly made Governor of Kamino. Cody had been tasked with working on a vaccine to stop the aging acceleration of the Clones who were all thirty in normal years by now. He also was put in charge of Kamino to supervise the creation of new Clones which the Clones had insisted on doing. The Kaminoens had ceded their right to govern after the discovery of Order 66 in order to avoid sentencing and maintain their Clone Enterprise. A planet in the core that was relatively uninhabited due to its isolation from other core worlds was named Clonya and was given to the Clones to inhabit. In this world, Clones made up the government and the families of Clones that had retired moved there to live out their days and create a society. What stunned Anakin was a large majority of the Clone Army opted to stay and fight for the new Dynasty.

On the Jedi side, Anakin had allowed the Jedi to appoint their own advisors to his council and respected their right to independence from the government. He had made it clear that the Jedi were independent from the government and though he would appreciate their help, it wasn't required of them. The Council, which he still sat on, appointed Jedi Master Kenobi, Jedi Master Windu, and Jedi Master Yoda to advise the Royal Family. Anakin had offered his resignation to the council upon being made Emperor but the council refused to accept, citing that he was a valuable member of the order and that having him be a part of the order made the government and the Jedi closer.

Padme for her part had chosen a great group of advisers too. Bail Organa had been made the Grand Vizier. He was responsible for assisting them in running the day to day runnings. He was an excellent statesman, and they knew they could trust him. His wife had just become pregnant and he was elated to have finally conceived a child after years of struggling. She had appointed Senator Mothma as her Advisor on Citizens which entailed Education, Wellbeing, and Employment. Senator Mothma was more than equipped for the job and she was already getting to work on initiatives to improve the wellbeing of all citizens. Finally, Senator Riyo Chuchi was made her Advisor on Refugee, Rebuilding, and Infrastructure. Not only was she responsible for rebuilding planets decimated by the Clone Wars, but she was also responsible for the gradual expansion into the Outer Rim and improving the livelihoods of those who lived out there. In this position, she worked closely with Mon Mothma which was always a joy for the two of them. Finally, Senator Boneri had been made Head of the Royal Household and he would ensure the Education and Training of the Royal Children though he wasn't at this meeting. Padme had a significantly smaller council given her advisors were used to the jobs they had, and she was confident that the jobs would be done efficiently.

The entire Royal Council now met in a side room of the Throne Room at a conference table for their first official meeting. "Welcome everyone to the first official meeting of the Royal Council," Padme said with a smile as she flipped through her notes, "Anakin and I wanted to thank you all for taking the time out of your days to join us in person. We just want to go over some things that we would like to work on in the near future. First things first, Senator Mothma, we would like to improve education standards galaxy wide. This would also employ millions of people as educators and increase the overall wellbeing of people across the galaxy. Can we get a plan together to get this in the works?"

"I will work with my staff and local leaders to come up with a plan. I believe revitalizing schools that we have and building new schools where none exist would be the correct route," said Mon Monthma as she looked around the rooms and then towards her Chief of Staff.

"Assist this effort, the Educational Corps can," Master Yoda said as he smiled towards Mon Mothma who gave him a friendly nod.

"Jedi Assistance would be appreciated," Padme said, she continued, "I believe the Core and some of the Mid Rim are of little priority at the moment. I would like to focus on the Outer Rim, Unknown Regions, and select Mid Rim worlds."

Senator Jarek, Anakin's Director of Intelligence spoke up, "my knowledge of the Unknown Regions may be of assistance. I fought many pirates and droid ships there and I have a lot of connections. I believe I can make a list."

"Senator Jarek, how soon can you get us this list?" asked Padme as she turned her attention to the member of the council that had proposed this system.

"I believe I can compile this list in a month or so. For now, it may be pertinent to start working on the Outer Rim which should be a point of focus. Chancellor Soh saw the importance of the Outer Rim and I believe it's time we re-enter that portion of the galaxy," Jarek said coolly.

"Perfect. Moving on, Senator Mothma, I would also like you to make sure that Hospitals are up to date across the galaxy. Coordinate with local officials and come back to me with a plan. Senator Chuchi can be of assistance in this regard. Can we expect some help from the Jedi Medical Corps?"

Yoda nodded and Padme smiled.

"Senator Chuchi, both Republic and Separatist planets were wrecked in the Clone Wars, we need a rebuilding plan for these worlds. Coordinate with whoever you need to on this assignment. It is imperative that we rebuild our galaxy and show the citizens we are more than just words."

"I've already compiled a list of worlds that need help. Local officials are sending me reports on what we'll need," Senator Chuchi said as she handed Padme a packet, "you can find the reports in this packet."

"Perfect. Bail Organa, our Grand Vizier, will coordinate between departments and help with the financials of these projects. If there are major concerns, we can set up meetings between your department staff, the Grand Vizier, and myself."

"If that's all, than I believe the floor goes to Anakin who has some initiatives of his own that he would like to talk about," the Empress said as she turned to her husband who looked towards his military council.

"Thank you Padme," he said, "my initiatives may interfere with the rebuild if we aren't swift and precise. For now, our money goes towards the Empress's ideas. Those ideas are the first step in our Galactic Phases plan we have come up with. Phase one is the rebuild of the galaxy we know. Phase two will start in seven or eight years and will comprise my ideas. My first idea is the eradication of slavery. The Outer Rim is crawling with slavers and it must be eliminated. From the Zygerrians to the Hutts, we need to bring the Outer Rim under control and establish our presence. With our initiatives in the Outer Rim in Phase One, the people may rise up and overthrow these entities themselves. If they don't, we will send the Clone Army in and take these planets by force. Grand Admiral Yularen, how many ships can we expect to be built within the next seven years?"

"Driveyards around the galaxy expect that in the next seven years, ten thousand capital ships will be built," Yularen said.

"And how much will that cost?" asked Anakin, looking towards Padme.

"They have yet to give us a quote but they said if money is an obstacle they are willing to take half payment with minimum interest rates as long as we sign various contracts saying we will not nationalize their industry," he explained.

"Tell the drive yards we'll take the deal," Anakin said as he typed in the information into a datapad. He looked towards Rex, "we're gonna go after the crime syndicates and we'll need their leadership gone so we can take advantage of the disarray. Can you find some people that can infiltrate these syndicates?"

"Can't be Clones sir but I can find some people that can do it," Rex said, "how soon do you want spies in the rings?"

"As soon as we can. Sabotage missions, reconnaissance, and assassinations are what we need to draw them out. When they are in disarray, we'll send in Clone units to take them out. Shouldn't be anything major, these crime syndicates will be finished without their leadership. They will turn to the Hutts and that is where we get them. In seven or so years, we will most likely go to war with the Hutt Clan. Can we expect Jedi assistance?"

"The Hutts are gangsters. We have ignored them for a long time and as Jedi we have an obligation to wipe them out," Master Windu said.

Master Kenobi nodded, "yes, I think it's important we wipe them out before they become a bigger problem."

"Thank you for understanding. I will get into further contact about any other details we can work out. This meeting is adjourned," Anakin said as everyone stood and bowed towards the Skywalker's.

In the far reaches of the Unknown Regions, a shuttle touched down on the planet Syca. The planet had been isolated from the rest of the galaxy, and few knew of its existence. Equipped with a shipyard and natives who had no love for the Republic, it was the perfect location for secret meetings between dark individuals.

The planet had been untouched by the Clone Wars, and a laboratory belonging to the former Sith Lord Palpatine had been constructed on the planet for dark artifacts and cloning experiments.

As the shuttle landed, steam covered the entrance, concealing the figure who made his way down the ramp. His footsteps were barely audible over the hissing of the landing gear settling into place. Outside the ship, figures in dark cloaks awaited the individual who made his way down the boarding ramp of the ship.

Darth Ren, the last apprentice of Darth Sidious shortly before his demise stood, surrounded by his disciples, the Knights of Ren. Though his training had been incomplete, he had used the Sith Holocrons and artifacts in the Syca laboratory to further the training of his disciples. He had expected Lord Sidious to meet him there, but soon after he had heard of his master's demise. Now he, a barely trained Sith Lord, was Dark Lord of the Sith and he had made an alliance with a man that Sidious had told him about.

As the steam faded, a man with blue skin and red eyes made his way down the ramp and approached the group. He was flanked by heavily armored guards and a Noghri with an electrostaff. "Darth Ren is it?" the figure asked.

"Thrawn. My masters last command was to make contact with you. He said you can offer me something?"

The Chiss man remained unmoving, his white uniform giving him a regal look as he held his hands behind his back. "You need me in order to eliminate the Jedi. You are a young man who lost his master. Your master was powerful, but overconfident in his abilities and lacked the understanding of his enemy and the force to make a considerable difference against the Jedi. My people don't understand the force the way the Jedi do, but we do know that what goes around comes around. You will serve me and together we will bring about the fall of the Empire."

Darth Ren smiled, "you know nothing of power, Chiss," he reached out with the force and clenched his hand together to choke this fool. He looked up to see the Chiss man smile and some sort of lizard crawl onto his shoulder.

"Ruhk, teach our friend here a lesson," Thrawn commanded and the Dark Lord of the Sith felt a surge of energy crawl up his body as the electrostaff made contact with him. His disciples went to defend him but he shot his hand up, ignoring the pain in order for them to stop. The Noghri drew back and Darth Ren stood up.

"You are a fool for angering me," he said. He felt weak, and his master would have surely been displeased, but the Chiss man was powerful. He didn't even know how Thrawn had resisted the force and though he put up a fierce facade, he was scared deep down.

Thrawn ignored him. "Csilla will be the capital of our new order. We will build up quietly. Ships will be built, soldiers recruited. You and your disciples will have the freedom to roam the Outer Rim, searching for knowledge on your ancient art. It will be many years before we strike, but when we do, we will strike hard."

Darth Ren nodded before he led the Chiss entourage into the main room of the facility. They had much to discuss.

"Lux, did you-," Ahsoka asked, trying to crane her neck around enough so that she could see him behind her. She could feel his body against hers, and it had felt great until she felt something that made both of them panic.

"I didn't mean to," Lux said nervously, "I'm so sorry Ahsoka, we should have just been safer about it." Lux and Ahsoka had started off using protection but recently, they hadn't because neither of them enjoyed it as much.

"Skyguy is going to kill me," Ahsoka said nervously, and she could sense the fear emanating from Lux. Lux knew

"Maybe you won't get pregnant," said Lux hopefully. He knew it was unlikely they'd get so lucky though. They hadn't even gotten married yet, and Ahsoka was seventeen and he was eighteen. He had been planning to ask her, and he had even had his aides help him pick out rings for her. They had talked about having kids, but this seemed rather early for kids.

Ahsoka started to tear up, "Lux, what are we going to do?"

Lux grabbed her and pulled her into the bed. He stroked her Lekku and wrapped his arm around her, "we're going to weather the storm. We don't know for sure if anything happened. If you're pregnant, then we'll manage, if you're not then there is no sense in worrying about it."

Ahsoka held back tears and immediately she thought the worst. "Would you stay with me if I was pregnant?"

"Of course Ahsoka, you're the love of my life and if you are pregnant earlier than we planned then we'll just be blessed earlier in life. Ahsoka pulled him closer and started sobbing. Lux felt his heartbreak and he immediately felt horrible about the mistake he had just made. "Ahsoka I'm so sorry, please forgive me!"

"I'm not crying about that Lux," Ahsoka said, cracking a smile, "I'm crying because I worried that you wouldn't want to have a child this early and you would be done with me!"

Lux could feel the tears dripping onto his hand and he reached up and wiped her eyes. "Ahsoka, I love you no matter what. I'm so sorry about what happened tonight, and I hope I can make it up to you."

Ahsoka had calmed down and she rolled around on the bed so that they were facing each other. Their bodies were mere inches apart and Lux fought the urge to kiss her. He would have, but it was a time for a serious talk.

"I don't know how this works," Lux said, "when will we be able to tell if you're pregnant?"

Ahsoka sighed, "well, luckily for us, Togrutas are hyper fertile so I'm definitely going to get pregnant. Usually in Togrutas, it takes about two days to be able to tell. But since I'm also force sensitive, that adds to the hyper fertility and actually speeds the process along. It could be two to four hours until we know."

Lux gulped. If he had known about any of this he would have been more careful. Scratch that. He should have been more careful regardless, but he would have been extra careful. He got off the bed and stood up, picking up his clothes that were scattered around the room. Ahsoka, for her part, hadn't moved. She was still processing the fact that she could be having a baby soon. She wondered if it would be a Togruta or a human. She had heard that when different species procreate, the gender and species match that of their parents. So if it was a boy, it would be human, but a girl would be Togruta.

Lux had slipped into his pants, but opted to keep his shirt off for now, still needing to cool down. He turned to see Ahsoka staring at him. She looked like she wanted to say something but didn't know if she should say it. "What is it?" he asked.

"Lux, if it's a girl, can we name her Mina?" Lux was taken aback by the question and stood silent. Ahsoka recoiled and facepalmed, "I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked. We don't have to."

Lux smiled, "no, I think that would be a wonderful way to honor my mother. I'm sure she would be happy to have a Granddaughter named after her. And what if it's a boy?"

Ahsoka smiled, "maybe Plo after Master Plo Koon who found me on Shili?"

"We'll think of something," Lux said. He walked over to her and kissed her, "I love you 'Soka."

"I love you too Lux," Ahsoka replied.

"I suppose we better get ready for dinner at the Palace," Lux said as he walked into the shower. Just before he was about to close it, the door stopped and Ahsoka walked in.

"Mind if I join?"

Three hours later, Ahsoka and Lux had arrived at the Imperial Palace. Anakin and Padme had news to tell the couple, but Ahsoka had rushed off to the refresher leaving Lux standing there awkwardly. Anakin sensed something was up, but he figured it could wait until after he and Padme had shared their news.

Meanwhile in the refresher, Ahsoka looked down at the test. She didn't know if she should be terrified or delighted. She was positive. She knew she would be, but it was still a shock to see the green light instead of the red light. She sat in the refresher a little longer before she flushed the toilet and walked out of it. Outside, Lux was standing nervously in the living room, while Padme and Anakin were excitedly cooking dinner. She walked out to Lux and sat down.

"So?" he asked. He didn't need to ask. He could see it in her face but he just wanted to be sure.

"Positive," Ahsoka said, "how are we going to tell Anakin?"

"Just make sure your lightsabers are ignited when you tell him so I have a chance to run," Lux said, almost laughing at his own joke before Ahsoka shot him a look.

"Run from what?" Anakin asked from behind them. Next to him, Padme stood with a radiant smile on her face.

"Oh uh, nothing," Lux answered.

"Yeah nothing," Ahsoka quickly said.

Anakin didn't believe them but he ignored it for the time being. He had some news to share. "Well you two, I have some news to share. Padme is pregnant!"

"Uhh Master," Ahsoka said nervously, "I'm pregnant too."

It took Anakin a second to process but he immediately looked down at Lux, "Bonteri?" He growled.

"I'm sorry Master Skywalker," Lux pleaded, "it was an accident, I-," he said before the wind was taken out of his lungs. Anakin stood with his fist clenched and Lux levitated into the air. It didn't matter that he was their Head of Household, Ahsoka was seventeen and she did not need to be pregnant.

"Anakin," yelled Ahsoka and Padme together.

"I... Definitely... Deserve... This," Lux choked out. All of the sudden, Anakin was thrown back into the wall. He looked up to see Ahsoka with her hands outstretched, and she walked over to Lux and picked him up off the ground.

"What the hell Anakin," Padme screamed but she was cut off by Lux laughing and coughing.

"I thought it would be much worse," Lux said with a slight smile, "I was ready to run and told Ahsoka to have her lightsabers ready." He was breathing deeply, trying to catch his breath. Anakin was still slouched against the wall, and the Royal Guards had their weapons activated, but stood unmoving after Padme had raised her hand to prevent them from apprehending Ahsoka.

Anakin still sat slouched against the wall, but his demeanor had changed. He could sense the intense love his Head of Household had for his former Padawan, and though it was foolish for her to be pregnant at seventeen, at least it was with someone she cared about. They could make the most of this situation. He slowly rose and approached Lux who still looked a little nervous but stood firm. "Sorry about choking you Bonteri. Snips just means a lot to me and I get very defensive."

"Oh no worries," Lux responded in between coughs, brushing himself off a little more, "I would have reacted the same way," he then had a sly smile, "minus the force choke at least."

Anakin chuckled and turned to Padme who still looked pissed off. "Sorry for causing a ruckus angel."

"At least you thought with the force and not your lightsaber this time," she muttered. She then turned to Ahsoka, "I suppose I'll have to run you through the ins and outs of pregnancy, come Ahsoka, let's have a girl talk." Lux went to follow but Padme put up a hand, "sorry, girls only."

"Skyguy, I'd prefer my child have a father. Don't kill Lux while I'm gone," laughed Ahsoka as she shot a look at Lux.

Anakin smiled, "only critical condition Snips." The door shut behind them and Anakin turned to Lux who looked terrified. "Relax Bonteri," Anakin said, "I was partially kidding."

Important A/N: So this is the last chapter of this story. I'm already writing a sequel story, and I'm excited to release it. I'll post something on this story when the sequel story is released so you all know when it has come out. There are certainly some loose ends in the story and I have a rough idea of what I need to tie up in the sequel. If there's anything you can think of please leave a review because I'm sure there's some things that I'm missing. The part about Darth Ren is actually a teaser for a third story and the last scene was included as I was typing up the first chapter of the sequel story. The next story will take place around six years later and I so far have it titled, Dynasty: Syndicate Wars but that is subject to change. Expect a mid february release on the sequel story. I want to write quite a few chapters before I release the story. In other news, I'm working on an alternate sequel story with a creator named sketchywolf so be on the lookout for that too. That will release simultaneously with my sequel story. Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed the story.
