Aaaaaand we are back readers with the second of three chapters for the day and to end 2020. So let's get right to it, Enjoy!
Ryder's POV:
I stood at the head of the table "Alright, I think we will get started with creating groups of who will be doing what and going where." I announced
"Now, I will announce group leaders" I announced
"I will be the leader of group A, Lance will be the leader of group B, Cooper will be the leader of group C, Lucky will be the leader of group D, Officer John will be the leader of group E, and the leader of group F will be General Maverick" I announced, "do you all accept your positions?" I asked
I looked around and all those people accepted their roles. "Alright, thank you for accepting, now we will move on to the main plan. We will start with the main forces of gang dogs." I said and I brought back the holographic map and I moved over the area with the mansion of the gang boss.
"Now according to Zuma and Lance's report, we know that these are the two areas that the gang dogs are meeting." I pointed at the western warehouse district and the abandoned eastern suburb both of which lit up in blue. The main mansion is north of the city or so, both locations are strategically located at the mansion's 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock. This creates a good vantage point for the groups to attack us." I stated
"We will need to have 2 groups to each location to keep their forces busy and out of the way. These need to be groups that are heavily armed. I think that Groups C and F will engage the abandoned eastern suburb located at the mansion's 2 o'clock on the northeastern edge of the city limits. They will take their groups to the suburb and surround the area, and each will approach the area from all sides trapping them. Our main goal is to capture and hold, if they fire at you then you can fire back. Is that clear to you General Maverick?" I asked at the end
"Yes" said General Maverick "I will also inform Cooper once he is ready" he added
"Good, now for the Wearhouse district. That is located at the mansion's 10 o'clock at the northwestern edge of the city limits. For that location, we will have groups D and E engage that location. Groups D and E will also surround the main complex and close into the center until it is captured. Remember to capture and hold, attack the dogs only if they attack first. Officer John and Lucky are there any questions?" I asked and both shook their heads.
"Awesome, so you all understand your orders? I asked and they all nodded
"Now for the mansion groups, we will have Groups A and B infiltrate that location. That will be my group and Lance's group. Our mission is to infiltrate the mansion, capture the leaders, and rescue Skye and Everest. Group A will enter from above and group B will enter from the ground in all directions. Group B will follow the same pattern as the rest of the groups, Surround and close in. Group A's sole mission is to infiltrate the mansion, capture the leaders, and rescue Skye and Everest. The leaders have been identified as The Boss of the gangs, Swift, Sylvia, Waxier, and Boil. Once we capture them then we can bring their hold on the city to an end." I explained
"Lance anything to add or any questions?" I asked
"Not a thing Ryder" Lance added.
I looked down at the map and the plans that we had just made, then I looked to the group. I took a deep breath and continued. "This will be a tough mission, bound to be losses on both sides. Thank you all for helping us, Now we need to prepare. According to recent information brought to me by General Maverick's scouts, the gang's plans will start in 24 hours or so, we will start the mission in 48 hours. Get your gear and groups ready for this battle. Do what you must to get ready. You are all dismissed." I said and everyone left. As they left everyone made phone calls, ordered troops with assignments and more. I turned to the pups, all of whom were looking at the holographic map.
"Did you have anything you want to say?" I asked them all
"Is this going to be dangerous?" Rocky asked
"Our most dangerous mission to date, there is a possibility of grave injury in this mission. Are you all still willing to go through with this?" I asked the pups
They all looked up "yes" they all said as one, clearly determined.
"Alright, we have to prepare then" I said and we all left the room.

No One's POV:
The following day brought many surprises. The previous night, all in attendance in the meeting made calls to bring in more forces. They all came in throughout the day.
Officer John and Lucky Made calls to different Police Departments in surrounding cities. In the morning after the meeting, there was a sound that woke people up in the early morning. Ryder walked out of the barracks followed by the pups to see Officer John, Lucky, and most of the Detmold City Police Department up and in their Ceremonial Police uniforms at attention in their regiments. Suddenly, the air was filled with the sound of sirens. Then from all over police vehicles flooded the area. They could be seen coming from all entrances of the base, there was the Adventure Bay Department, Foggy Bottom Department, Crystal Cove Department, Kingsman Department, and Angel City Department.
The Paw Patrol walked up, and Officer John and Lucky approached them. "Here are our troops for groups D and E." Officer John stated showing the full force of the police.
"All these departments have dealt with some form of these gang dongs and decided to end this once and for all" Lucky stated. "We have most of the officers from each department in the surrounding cities" Lucky added.
"This is awesome!" Chase said in amazement.
"I have to agree, it is truly impressive" Ryder stated.
Later that day, Ryder had gone to visit Cooper and Tracker as they would be getting out of the hospital wing. Cooper had asked General Maverick to make a call to some friends who would aid him in this battle. As we walked out of the hospital wing, there was a loud Roar above the group. They all looked up to see a fleet of 10 ospreys flying overhead. While 8 ospreys headed to land at the base's airstrip, two came to a halt above us. Suddenly people started to jump out. The group watched as people came and landed in the field next to us and the two ospreys left to land with the other 8.
Cooper and the Paw Patrol walked over to the group. A lone dog approached us, and Cooper walked a little faster to meet with the older dog.
"Ollie, that was some entrance you guys had" Cooper said
"I figured I'd bring and show off the entire Lockwood Secret service… except for the family's personal regiment that's on the grounds of the Lockwood residence, of course" Ollie said
"So, you must be Ollie, A guardian of Skye" Ryder said as he walked up, Ollie looked at Ryder as the group stopped in front of him
"… And you must be Ryder, Skyla's Team leader, a pleasure to meet you Ryder" Ollie stated
"It is an honor to meet you Ollie. I had no idea this was the secret service of Skye's Family, or that there even was one. Very impressive" I said
"Well sir, I did train all of these men" Ollie said "that is with the help of Cooper and Cody" he added
"Seriously?!" Chase exclaimed causing Ollie to turn to him
"Yes… and you must be Chase" he said with his eyes narrowing slightly at him
"I am" Chase said meeting his gaze
"If I'm not mistaken you hurt Skylla very much. Is that right?" he persisted
"Yes… I did. It is the one regret I cannot fix, and it will follow me to my grave" Chase said sadly
"Well, I can see you have owned to your mistake. But I would like to warn you, if you ever do that again to miss Skylla, I will personally use all of my military training to hunt you down." Ollie stated
"I can promise you I will die before I ever do that to her again" Chase promised
"Alright, let's go get Skylla back then. The Lockwood family is greatly grieving and praying for her safe return." Ollie said and followed his secret service team to base.
"Wow, they are badass" Rocky said to Zuma causing him to nod as they walked away.
Lance had called his Special Operations team to the base and they came in the special ospreys that could turn invisible, they brought a total of 7 specially outfitted ospreys with Lance's entire Special forces regiment, who we worked with at Jakes mountain to save the kidnapped children of Adventure Bay.

Chase's POV:
I sat in the barracks, in my room preparing my gear for the battle tomorrow. I had all of my stuff laid out on my bed and I was going over it.
"Military police Knife, SWAT taser, Glock 22 pistol, 9MM pistol, SWAT Battle lightweight armor, tactical battle helmet, M16 rifle, AR15 rifle, ACOG sight, Infrared sight, Infrared laser pointer, grenade launcher, grenades, flashbangs, my pack, minigun attachment for pack, and ammo with clips. I think I have everything" I said as I went through my checklist.
There was a knock on the door behind me. I looked back to see Ryder at the door "Hello Ryder sir, just preparing my gear for tomorrow, is there anything you need sir?" I asked
"I just wanted to check in on you… is that the minigun from the last warehouse?" Ryder asked
"Yes" I simply said
"Well, I'm glad you have it" Ryder said walking in.
"I'm using all that I have to end this" I said
Ryder did not say anything as he came and sat on my bed. "Chase" he said
I looked up at him
"How are you feeling?" he asked
I was silent for a moment "strangely calm, however I feel anger, righteous anger. It's like this burning feeling in my soul, I will end all of their lives if I must to rescue Skye and Everest" I said
"That is what I'm afraid of" Ryder sighed.
I did not say anything as I started to pack some of my things into my pack.
"Chase, I know this has been an emotional roller coaster for you these past couple of months. But for this plan to be successful I need you to promise me something" Ryder asked
"What might that be?" I asked
"I need you to promise me to keep your anger in check… well actually all of your emotions in check during the mission. I don't think we want another episode of what happened at that warehouse with that minigun" he said pointing to the minigun on my bed.
I pressed a button and am arm came out of the top of my pack and I grabbed the minigun. "I was terrified of what I had become in that warehouse. I can assure you that I will not act in that way again, I don't want that monster to be seen by anyone on our team" I said.
"Good, I'm glad we have that settled, now make sure you get some sleep we are going to have a long day ahead of us tomorrow" Ryder said standing up as I got the minigun on its arm and pressed a button to put it away.
"Good night Chase, I'll see you tomorrow" Ryder said as he grabbed the door to my room
"Goodnight Ryder" I said as he closed the door
As I finished packing up all of my gear, my Glock 22 was still out and I picked it up and pointed it at a wall and a thought crossed my mind, I may have said that I would not show that side of me to the Paw Patrol or our allies, But Ryder did not say anything about not showing it to the enemy I thought putting the gun away and I smiled "I'm coming Skye and nothing and no one will get in my way" I said as I set my pack down, crawled into bed and switched off the lights.

Marshall's POV:
I had laid everything out on my bed as I was about to put it into my pack.
"I have my stun gun, my military knife, my 9mm pistol, a Glock 19, SWAT battle lightweight armor, tactical battle helmet, M16 rifle, SCAR rifle, ACOG sight, Infrared sight, Infrared laser pointer, grenade launcher, grenades, flashbangs, my pack, my new rocket launcher attachment for my pack, and ammo with clips. This looks like enough." I said going down my list.
Just as I had put my first thing away, my new rocket launcher attachment, there was a knock at my door "come in" I called
The door opened to show Ryder standing there, "Hey Marshall" Ryder greeted
"Good evening Ryder" I said as I continued to put things in my pack for tomorrow
"How is packing going?" Ryder asked
"Good, I can't wait to get started" I said
"Why is that?" Ryder asked
"Because then I will be able to take down those dogs who are hurting Everest and Skye" Marshall said in a determined and vengeful voice
"That is what I was hoping you would not say" Ryder sighed taking a seat on my bed
I stopped packing and looked up "what do you mean?" I asked
"Marshall, I know these recent events have really gotten to you and sent you on an emotional roller coaster. But here is the thing, for us to be successful in this mission tomorrow, I need you to keep your emotions in check. We don't want you to go into a rage and start killing people like crazy. It is a good chance that at that time, they could easily kill you. Do you understand that?" Ryder asked
"I do, the last time I got into a rage, I blasted off into the sky saying I would kill any and all who would stand in my way to rescue Everest… and in front of the pups. I promise I won't act that way in front of them during the mission." I said as I continued to pack.
"Glad to hear that buddy, make sure you get some sleep tonight. We have a long day tomorrow" Ryder said standing up and heading to the door.
"Will do Ryder, have a good night" I said
"Good night Marshall" Ryder said as he closed the door.
I was just about to finish packing when I looked at the last thing, my 9mm pistol. I grabbed it and pointed it at a wall, then a thought crossed my mind. I promised Ryder that I wouldn't lose my cool in front of the pups… but I never promised him that I wouldn't lose my cool on the gang dogs. I smiled and then I put my 9mm in my pack and set my pack on the ground. Then I climbed into my bed and turned off the lights.
Wow! They really are bringing everything they have on these gangs. Even Chase and Marshall are packing a punch in their pup packs. Will Chase and Marshall be able to keep their promise to Ryder? Will they be the ones who rescue Skye and Everest? What are they willing to do to get the girls? all will be answered as this story continues.
