According to the titan, this was never in his plan, he didn't even bother to include such a thing in case the link got broken, yet it happened. apparently controlling a stone holder is quite troublesome. Accepting the fact, he got disappointed, he let out a long sigh, feeling a headache visiting him he spoke "useless creatures, I've never been so irritated in my life", both brothers got themselves together and stood up facing the titan. "I'm afraid that I've found myself compelled to use force", he walked down the throne, hand fisted, getting closer to them "you might want to start begging for dear life",

"as if!" Thor replied and slashed with his sword towered Thanos. The titan's intentions were clear to him now, this creature's aim is asgard. He has to end him here and now. The titan blocked the attack easily, sending Thor a couple of steps back, he recovered fast and attacked again. The attack didn't only get blocked, it shattered the sword to pieces. So Thor changed to physical fighting and punched Thanos. His punch got stopped by the titan holding his fist. The titan's power was no match for him, at least not in his right condition. The next thing that Thor felt was a punch being delivered to his stomach, then his jaw and finally a down fist on his head. A regular human would have died by now from the strong punch that made thor get smashed on the ground. His head spun around him and he couldn't comprehend his thoughts. Trying to get up, he felt a hand grabbing his head yanking him up. "still not going to follow the orders?".

"you talk too much".

"hate to destroy a man with high potential to my benefits. But what's necessary needs to be done" ready to land a punch, he got interrupted by a voice.

"if I might interject. I still believe you need guidance through asgard".

"If you consider failure experience" Loki knew exactly what he was referring to. That he failed to claim the throne of Asgard and kill thor.

"I consider experience, experience. Almighty Thanos, I... Loki... Prince of Asgard" he looked at Thor and saw the glare of hatred and disappointment. As much as it hurts him, he needs to stop his brother's foolishness before he drags himself to death "the rightful King of Jotunheim... God of Mischief... do hereby pledge to you, my undying fidelity".

Letting go of thor, he approached loki and stood in front of him, raising his hand slowly holding something in it "let's check that, shall we?". Loki gulped, that thing, he read about it. The mind stone. No wonder this titan managed to manipulate him easily. And now, he knows he is screwed. The titan used the stone to read his mind and saw it all. He saw that by those words Loki was trying to trick him, while his real motive again was escaping. "how curious, even though you don't share the same blood yet both of you are stubborn bastards. Not submitting easily". Taking the chance while Thanos was talking, Thor thrust from behind him attempting for a critical hit. Sensing that, the titan turned around stopping the attack "I'll do you a favor and return you to your formal state instead of annoying me like a bug" he grabbed his right leg and broke it. Thor shouted in pain and agony. Loki on the other side took a desperate struggle. Summoning the last dagger, he threw it at Thanos only to be parried. The action followed it a big hand surrounding his neck, choking him. "Your magic is truly annoying" He tightened his grip damaging his vocal cords. Then he drained him all of his source of magic. He lifted both of them and threw them away as if they were nothing. "take them to the dungeons''. The guards immediately moved, cuffing their hands and dragging them out of the throne court.

The guards guided the brothers back to the dungeons, to the same cell they were in when they arrived. "get inside and line up. Any unnecessary movement will cost you good" the guard said and opened the cell's door. Loki obeyed and got inside while Thor was being walked by the second guard due to his broken leg. "you've heard the man, big guy. No stupid actions" the second guard said and helped Thor study his balance to stand "now stand still". Supporting him to finally stand, he kneeled to the left leg and chanted some words. Immediately after chanting, the chains appeared and wrapped itself around the ankle and connected to the wall. Then he did the same to Loki's leg "alright let's go". The two guards closed the cell and went out. Hearing the sound of the dungeon door closing, the silence roamed the place.

The tension between the two men flashed with electricity. The thunderer had a sharp glare toward the silvertongue, he badly wanted to deliver a critical punch to this man in front of him, who he doesn't know what to call anymore. Loki sensed and saw the hateful glare toward him, he said "it is not…."his voice was hoarse due to the choke, his nick turned into a blue purple bruise. He stopped for a brief second as it pained him then repeated the sentence but only got cut off by Thor pinning him to the wall with his elbow on his neck. "you've sold our home, TWICE!".

Hearing the rumble of steel and screams, the prisoner in the opposite cell woke from his slumber and stood lazily to see who was making the noise. He got shocked to see the familiar faces again. What got him more shocked is seeing them in this dreadful status. All blooded, broken parts and bruised on their skin. He tried to speak only to be fast shut by Thor slamming Loki to the wall choking him. "ohhhh a fight!" He got excited and went closer to the metal bars watching as if a play started in front of him.

"it is not what you think, thor"

"do you think I'll believe you?! After all you've done! What have we done to deserve this treatment you filthy traitor!!".

"I'm I that low in your eyes?", he hissed those words in his face.

"you know very well that you brought this upon yourself Loki!" his expressions were outrageous, the poisonous thoughts that he was fed had implemented itself in his mind.

"how come? What sort of action did i do to draw that picture in your head" he smirked sarcastically. Which irritated Thor and triggered him to push his elbow harder hurting Loki badly, adding double the pain that he already felt.

"After all you did on asgard! you pretend doing nothing!"

"pretending? When?"

"you've brought havoc upon our realm! You've started a war! Who knows what's happening on asgard right now!"

"do i need to remind you that you did the same thing before your banishment? You tried to bring war on our realm and it was considered as a heroic action!. Yet when I did it, it got considered wrong, and you with your hideous friends rebelled against me!"

"you can't fool me with your excuse! You're not the one who bluntly repeats my actions for nothing! Your motives are far away from mine! What are your intentions?!"

Loki giggled and Thor slammed him again on the wall "I'm not joking loki!"

The giggle turned into a sad laugh "someone like you would never understand. You, who have always been in the light"

searching his face, thor saw shades of sadness taking its place in his eyes which he recognized immediately. The same one that repeated itself countless times in the past and no one paid attention to it. "it doesn't matter now. The titan will kill us. feel free to do it instead. After all, it was your dream wasn't it? To hunt the monster down and slay them all" he said, convinced of the fact that Thor would kill him as his mind also got its share of Thanos's poisons.

Thor couldn't continue this. He clicked his tongue and dropped down loki. "you are right. There is no meaning in understanding a destructive jotun" Loki's eyes widened in shock, leaving him stunned in his place Thor turned around limping on one leg till he reached the other side and sat down on the floor, avoiding eye contact with his opponent.
