Chapter 12

Disclaimer: I don't own digimon or anything related to it. I do own some of the OCs that will appear later on and also some of the digimon designs. I intend to use all ten legendary spirits and have created designs for four extra spirits.

Note: Once again sorry for being so late. As I said before I am at the point where I am starting to write instead of just editing already written chapters.

In this chapter, I have put use bold text to refer to a character since it's in obscurity and the scene is from its point of view. I used normal text for him in the last chapter but there is more than one person with him n this so I thought it would be better to just highlight him for clarity.

I don't have any intention of discontinuing the story. It might take a while but I will keep writing.

As a reminder: I am taking some stuff from adventure Tri.

Hope you like it.

"Don't let go!" Takeru told Yamato. Takeru mustered all the strength he had. His brother came out, spinning. Takeru had a fleeting moment of relief. Ken stumbled, Takeru turned, throwing out his hand, fingers passed through Ken's, "KEN!"

"My computer. Look!"

Takeru lunged for Ken. A green flash, the world spun. He hit the earth, searing pain flooded through his left arm, and a scream of agony, "AGGGH!" escaped his lips.

"TAKERU!" Yamato's panicked voice called out for him. Takeru laid there, grunting in pain, "Are you alright?"

Takeru didn't think so. His left arm might as well have been being stuck below tons of rocks. Yamato's arm supported his back: helping him sit up. His arm moved a bit, and it felt like a wave of fire ran through t, "AGGGH!"

"What is it?" Yamato asked in an alarmed tone.

"Takeru!" Angemon called as he landed on earth, "Are you hurt?"

"Your arm!" Yamato said.

"Is it alright?" Garurumon asked.

His brother touched his arm, and a jabbing pain assaulted Takeru's arm, "AHHH!" Yamato pulled his hand away.

"I think it's broken!" Takeru replied.

"Don't move it," Yamato replied, "We need to get you to the doctor!" Takeru followed Yamato's lead and wrapped his better arm around his brother's neck.

"Ken!" Stingmon spoke.

Takeru gasped as he remembered what happened to his friend. The world seemed to be spinning once again. Ken, he was...

"Where is he?" Angemon asked.

"Where is Ken?" Stingmon's body started to glow. The humanoid insect digimon grew smaller. Takeru knew what was coming, and it solidified the reality, "W...Why did I dedigivolved?" Panic had started to lace the little insect digimon's voice.

Takeru didn't have the heart to face Wormmon. Ken was taken away. They didn't know; where? How was he? First Iori and then Ken, and he was there both times. He should have been able to do something this time!

"Ken!" Wormmon called, "Ken! Where are you? Ken! KEN!"

"Takeru?" Angemon asked.

"It's my fault!" Takeru replied. He clenched his fist. His nail dug in his palm. How could he just let Ken taken like that? HOW?

"No, you tried your best. It's all my fault!" Yamato said.

"Yamato, you couldn't have predicted it!" Gabumon responded.

"He is right!" Takeru told his brother, "I should have been able to grab his hand!" If only he was faster. If only...

"But I should have been more careful of my surrounding. We are re in a battle zone!" Yamato replied.

"But what happened?" Wormmon asked, "Is Ken..."

"He was...what is that shadow?"

"WATCH OUT!" Hikari screamed from somewhere.

Takeru was pushed down on his back, his left shoulder hit the earth, and a new wave of pain flooded his arm, "AGGH!" His right hand rushed to grab the suffering limb.

"Takeru!" Angemon exclaimed.

"Sorry about that. You okay?" Yamato asked. Takeru wished he could say that he was.

"It actually attacked Angemon from behind, but I got panicked!"

"I...it's okay!" Takeru replied. He was panting heavily. He opened his eyes and searched for the source of such a reaction from his brother. His eyes caught Garurumon, who had wrestled away something silver and gray, smashing it into what once was a closed store. The digimon looked like a silver-gray and a lot more fearsome version of Kuwagamon.

"Takeru!" Hikari addressed as Nefertimon landed by Takeru's side with a faint thump, "Is your arm alright!" She sat down by his side.

"It'll be fine!" Takeru replied.

"It needs medical attention. We have to get to the doctor!" Yamato told Hikari.

"But we need to deal with that digimon first," Takeru replied, "What digimon is it?"

"That's Okuwamon!" Wormmon told them, "It's an Ultimate level digimon!"

"Wait! Wormmon!" Hikari exclaimed, "What are you doing here, and where is Ken?" She gave all of them questioning looks.

"I don't know!" Wormmon replied.

Takeru averted his eyes away.

"What's wrong? What happened to Ken?"

"He was pulled in by a portal!" Yamato replied, "It opened behind me, but they pulled me, and then..."

"No!" Hikari exclaimed, "Poor Mr. and Mrs. Ichijoji. They will be devastated."

That's right! They would have to tell his parents. After everything they have been through, having no idea about the whereabouts of their son once again! This time Ken didn't even leave by his own will!

Dammit!

"Ken..." Wormmon whispered, "I should have never left him alone."

"Oh, Wormmon..." Hikari picked up the little digimon and put him in her lap, "We will find Ken!"

Okuwamon managed to throw away Garurumon, who back flipped and sot blue flames while in mid-air, "Heaven's knuckle!" Okuwamon rose out of the rubble and into the sky before the two attacks could hit it. It cut through Nefertimon's Rosetta stone like paper. The insect digimon looped around Nefertimon's energy beam and sped upward. Its pincer snapped shut, missing Nefertimon by a hair's width.

"NEFERTIMON, BE CAREFULL!" Hikari cried out loud.

As Okuwamon rose higher, Nefertimon shot another energy beam. It didn't seem to have much effect on the insect digimon. Takeru was lost for words. This digimon was definitely not Kuwagamon!

"This digimon is a better fighter than Kuwagamon!" Yamato said, "Try to force it toward the ground." Yamato told the other Angemon.

Angemon took to the air, ascending toward Nefertimon. Okuwamon dived toward Nefertimo. Okuwamon above, Angemon below, wielding his rod. Nefertimon sped forward. Angemon swung his golden-rod sending Okuwamon was sent hurtling through the air.

"Good timing!" Takeru commented. Nefertimon's Rosetta stone connected with Okuwamon. The insectoid came crashing down.

"Heaven's knuckle!"

"Foxfire!"

"Curse of the queen!"

Caught between three attacks, and yet Okuwamon managed to finally gain its balance and flew away! Takeru's mouth fell open. Their digimons were champion-level but still!

"Its defense is greater than Kuwagamon!" Wormmon stated.

"It looks like it has gotten damage, though. Look closely at it's back." Yamato replied.

As Angemon hit Okuwamon with his rod, sending it toward Garurumon, Takeru noticed some weird blue and purple scratches on its body. He could only see it, thanks to Okuwamon's gigantic size. He had seen something similar last night, "What is that?"

"I don't know, but a ring similar to that appeared around some defeated digimons last night?" Yamato replied, "Koichi's friends did something with it."

"Is it wounded in some way?" Hikari asked.

"If those are wounds, we should aim at them," Yamato suggested.

Takeru was a bit disturbed by how Yamato said it even though they had done these kinds of things before. They didn't have any other choice, though.

"ATTACK THE BLUE AND PURPLE SCRATCHES!" Yamato told their partners.

Nefertimon took the opportunity and shot her laser right at the blue and purple scratches from above while Garurumon used foxfire from below. The insectoid screamed: EGHAAA. It definitely felt that one.

"ROSETTA STONE!"

"HEAVEN'S KNUCKLE!"

Garurumon jumped as the massive stone hit Okuwamon, sending it crashing down. The insectoid hit the concrete with a loud THUD. Angemon bombarded Okuwamon with the energy beam. It screamed one final time, and then there was a ring of blue and purple lines. It didn't move again!

Their partners approached them, "What do we do now?" Garurumon asked.

"Koichi would know," Yamato replied. He took out his cell phone and dialed a number, "I will call Koshiro."

Takeru glanced back at the blue and purple ring. If a digimon disappears by absorbing it... "Could that thing be its life force?"

"I don't know," Angemon replied, "I have never seen anything like that before last night!"

"I don't think it's a life force!" Nefertimon replied, "Life force never appears like this! It's more like an essence."

"Koshiro..." Yamato spoke on the phone, "We need your help. There is this digimon with a blue and purple ring round it. Ask Koichi what do we do? . . . Got it. He says digimons can also absorb but remember to release it back! Just think about pulling it in. It's like inhaling air or pulling a string. Garurumon!"

"Here goes!" Garurumon opened his jaws. The stream of blue and purple flowed right into the wolf digimons mouth, "Weird! It's warm and cold at the same time!" He opened his jaws again, and the stream flew out toward the sky.

"Alright!" Yamato said as he and Hikari helped Takeru to his feet, "Hikari, fly Takeru to doctor. Take Wormmon with you," He made another call, "Taichi. I have bad news."

"WHAT!" Taichi exclaimed on the phone. Not Ken too! "BUT HOW?"

"It opened behind me," Yamato replied, "When they managed to pull me out, Ken slipped and well..."

Dammit! Couldn't believe they had lost another one of their friends! First, Daisuke, Iori disappeared, and Miyoko and now a portal, "What do you think. It was a setup or an isolated incident?"

"Honestly, I have no idea. This was the first time a portal appeared."

Great! If this was a setup, it would mean their enemies are changing tactics, and if it wasn't, they would have to keep watch out for random portals. Even innocents will be in danger in the latter case, "Are you guys..." Taichi's eyes widened as a metal beam came at him, spinning through the air. He threw himself down on the earth, and the metal beam hit something with CLANG.

"TAICHI!" Greymon called out for him.

"I AM FINE!"

"TAICHI, HEY, TAICHI!" Yamato was yelling from the other side of the call, "TAICHI!"

Taichi put the phone to his ear, "I am fine," He coughed out dirt, "I guess we will have to discuss this latter,"

"Alright, and if a blue-purple ring appears around any digimon, tell Greymon to absorb it and then release it. It's like..."

"Don't worry. Koichi's brother and friend us here," Taichi glanced at the two humanoid digimons. "They can help us with that," Wolfmon sliced through MadLeomon's lion-shaped aura. Taichi gasped as a yellow reptilian/dragon digimon with a single giant arm charged at Wolfmon from behind. The dragon digimon swung its single giant arm, "HEY KOJI, BEHIND YOU!" Wolfmon. He won't be able to stop it.

"SALAMANDER BREAK!" A tornado of fire hit the dragon digimon, sending it away. The dragon digimon crashed in a wrecked shop. Agnimon appeared from the flaming tornado and charged at the crashed digimon.

"Taichi," Yamato called from the other side of the line, "It's fine, Yamato. We will take later,"

"Alright. Take care!"

"Yeah, I got it!" Taichi replied, "bye!" Taichi turned off his phone and clenched his fists. Ken might be kidnapped. If he isn't, then things can be even worse!

"That's Cyclomon," Greymon told Agnimon as he launched a Bakemon right into another, "Watch out from its..."

The yellow dragon digimon/Cyclomon hit Agnimon with its single giant arm, sending him flying right toward Taichi. The red armored digimon crashed on the concrete a few feet away from Taichi.

"Arm!" Greymon added.

Taichi rushed to Agnimon, "Are you alright?"

Agnimon stood up, "Yeah. GET BEHIND ME!"

Taichi was pushed back as a high-temperature beam came right at them. Agnimon took the attack head-on. To Taichi's relief, it seemed like the high temperature didn't do anything.

"This isn't exactly fire, but I can do with it!" Agnimon stated as he charged at the Cyclomon.

"Something wrong?" Wolfmon asked as he shot a laser, which stopped MadLeomon's charge.

"Our friend fell in a portal!"

"Wh..." Greymon broke off as a green dinosaur with giant horns on its head swung Greymon. Taichi's partner crashed into a building with a THUD! Debris and metal came crashing down right on top of the orange dinosaur, "GREYMON!"

"Mega Flame!" The fireball scattered dust cloud, hitting the green dinosaur in the face. It screamed and was thrown several feet away.

Greymon shook away the debris and came charging out of wreck and dust. He grabbed the green dinosaur by its horns, swung it backward by its horns, smashing it in concrete with another THUD!

"Get aside, will you!" Agnimon called out as flames engulfed him. He spun and kicked the Cyclomon, sending it toward Greymon. Taichi's partner jumped away, and the yellow dragon crashed into the green dinosaur.

"Mega flame!"

"Burning salamander!"

The two fire attacks hit the green dinosaur and yellow dragon. They roared in an agonizing voice, and a ring of blue and purple lines or fractal code as Koji had called it a night before, appeared around the green dinosaur., "There it is," Taichi said to himself. The yellow dragon just disintegrated. Agnimon approached the green dinosaur and absorbed it in a device.

"Hey, Takuya!" Wolfmon called, "Take a look at this," Taichi approached the white armored digimon along with Agnimon and Greymon. The fractal code around MadLeomon was fragmented, but that wasn't all. The lion digimon was also disintegrating.

"W...what is going on?" Agnimon asked.

"You don't know!" Taichi exclaimed. He had assumed they knew everything about this blue and purple ring.

"No!" Wolfmon replied.

Soon there was nothing left. As the last bits of lion digimon disappeared, the ring of fractal code streamed toward the sky.

"This is ominous!" Agnimon said.

Taichi would be lying if he said that these guys' lack of knowledge on this didn't disturb him a bit. Only Koshiro could unravel this mystery n... His cell phone rang. Koshiro must be telepathic or the devil. Taichi answered the call, "Yeah,"

"There is a Mammon a few blocks away from you guys, and it's coming toward you!"

"Got it..." A loud BANG from the other end f the line cut Taichi, "What's going on there! ave digimons appeared there too?"

"Is Koichi alright?" Wolfmon asked.

"No. We left the house, actually." Koshiro replied.

"What! And Koichi is with you?" Taichi asked.

"Yes."

Great! "Koshiro, we were supposed to keep him out of danger, not put him right into it!"

"It was his idea, actually!" Koshiro replied.

"What's going on?" Wolfmon demanded.

"He wanted to find his mom," Koshiro replied, "Taichi Can't talk right now. Have to tell others'. Bye!" He cut the call, and Taichi released an exhausted sigh.

"What's going on?" Agnimon asked.

"And Koichi?" Wolfmon added.

"He is alright. He went out to find your mom." Taichi put the phone back in his pocket, "We have got a problem a few blocks away coming toward us. Let's end its trouble," Greymon picked up Taichi, and the three digimon took off.

"So, about that friend of yours?" Agnimon asked.

"Ken Ichijoji."

Blitzmon landed on earth softly. He didn't have the strength to keep flying anymore. This was just too much. They had to fight yesterday after a fair bit of running, and now this. If things kept on happening like this, soon, they would all be exhausted. A THUD from around the corner snapped Blitzmon's attention. He rushed to the site and, a red-figure caught his attention. The figure resembled an ogre with white, unkempt hair, pointed ears, and an exaggerated lower jaw. It had tusks on the sides of its jaws and carried a bone. There was a white figure in a pile of the rubble, "Chackmon!"

His friends pulled himself out of the debris, "Hey."

The red figure screamed and charged at Blitzmon, and humanoid beetle rose in the air, "You alright?" He asked Chackmon. The polar bear digimon was panting heavily.

"Just having a chat!"

The ogre digimon shot energy in the shape of its head at Blitzmon. The armored beetle dodged the attack, charged its fist with lightning, and swing them on Ogremon. The red ogre digimon screamed as lightning rushed through its body and brandished its bone at Blitzmon. The humanoid beetle was sent hurtling through the air and hit the concrete.

"Hey, you okay!" Chackmon asked as he approached Blitzmon and helped him stand up.

"Yeah!" He was lucky his armor is so tough.

Ogremon came storming at them. Chackmon took out his blaster and shot at the red ogre-like digimon. The snowballs hit ogre digimon with enough force to send it flying for several feet. It crashed through a glass window. Chackmon breathed in the air. As ogre digimon came charging out, Chackmon breathed out freezing winds, which immediately stopped ogre digimon in its tracks.

Blitzmon charged his horn with lightning and rammed into the frozen digimon. His horn broke through the ice and sent lightning running through the red ogre digimon. It screamed one last before disintegrating.

Chackmon sat down on the earth, heaving.

"You alright?"

"Just...HUFF...let me...HUFF...catch my breath," He stood up after some moments, "What's up with them disintegrating like that? Where is the fractal code or the digiegg?"

"I have no idea," Digimons weren't supposed to just disappear like that. They aren't turning into digiegg, "I guess only Ophanimon and the other two can answer us," Junpei looked around. Something was weird.

"Well, doesn't seem like they are in any hurry to tell us stuff," Chackmon replied, "They haven't even tried to contact since yesterday."

"There is something else I am wondering," It didn't make any sense! At least to Blitzmon.

"What?"

At least half an hour had passed since the phenomenon started and, yet no... He looked toward the sky as a CHUFF-CHUFF echoed in the area. The media helicopter was coming in his direction.

"Not them!" Chackmon said, "When will they learn?"

"That's half of the question I was wondering," Junpei told him, "I hope trouble doesn't find them."

"Maybe we should watch out for them!"

"Togemon!" A girl's voice came from somewhere.

"Did she said Togemon?" Blitzmon asked.

"Yeah!" Chackmon sprinted. Blitzmon somehow lifted in the air and flew after him. His armored body was weighing him down. He felt like he was running while carrying tons of weight.

A few streets away, he finally caught sight of fire, or was it a man; made of fire. There was also a Togemon and a pink-haired teenage girl. The cactus digimon was standing protectively in front of the girl. That was the worst digimon to fight a walking talking fire.

"Man, this guy took burning spirit too seriously!" Chackmon commented, "Leave it to us!" He said as he ran past the girl.

"Who..." The girl broke off as the fire digimon shot small fireballs at them.

"Hey, bonfire!" Chackmon called, "Chill buddy," He breathed out freezing winds, which took out the fireballs. The fire of the flaming digimon countered icy winds.

It didn't seem like a good idea to touch this thing even with all the armor Blitzmon had. He swung his fist, and lightning rained down upon the fire digimon. It didn't seem to do anything.

"Togemon, are you alright?" The pink-haired girl asked.

"Yes, Mimi!"

Chackmon took out his blaster and starting shooting.

"What are you doing?" Blitzmon asked, stopping Chackmon, "Of course, snow and ice won't do anything!"

"What, did you get that from pokemon?" Chackmon asked.

"You can prove it wrong? Besides, you are the one who spends at least three hours daily on video games."

"But I still don't take them too seriously. Speaking of pokemon, you know what is lightning gonna do?"

"You two," The girl snapped, "Stop fighting each other and do something!"

"It hasn't been more than a minute since we met her, and she is already ordering us around?" Blitzmon asked.

"Reminds you of someone, doesn't she?" Chackmon asked.

Yup, this girl will get along with Izumi just fine, "What is that thing, anyway?"

"Meramon the flame digimon!" Togemon replied.

"I can tell that much by just looking at it," Chackmon replied.

Meramon roared, flared up its arms, and charged at them. Chackmon breathed out freezing winds. It was countered by Meramon's flames, but he was pushed back, and the fire on its hands dwindled a bit.

They needed water or somehow create a vacuum, "We need to take it to the river or..." The freezing winds sent Meramon hurtling through the air. It crashed into between two empty stores. Cracks run up the walls, and a few rocks came crashing down on the fire digimon, "Or we can use that!"

Chackmon stopped breathing icy winds. He was panting heavily, "W...HUFF...what?"

"If we bury it, the oxygen will run out," Blitzmon replied, "And you can use freezing attacks: which will be much more effective. You can also covered up the open spaces."

"So we are going to bury someone alive?"

Now when he put it that way, "I guess!" Meramon threw away the rocks and stood up

Chackmon raised his blaster and fired at the walls, "We don't have much choice, do we?" A few more rocks came crashing down on top of the fire digimon.

Togemon came forward, "I will help!" She jumped and started raining punches upon the wall of one shop. It shattered and came down upon Meramon.

Blitzmon gathered all of his strength, lifted in the air: somehow. He charged his fist with lightning and punched the other side of the wall. The debris came crashing down, "Now Tomoki!"

He breathed out freezing winds and started encasing the buried fire digimon in ice. Ice would close the openings in the pile of debris. Meramon's fire would melt it, but Chackmon kept blowing more freezing winds. Soon ice started thickening. Chackmon fired his blaster. The high-speed snowballs hit rubble and ice with loud THUDS. Ice and rocks scattered around, revealing a black figure with a ring of fractal code around it.

"Finally!" Blitzmon exclaimed as he summoned his detector, "Fractl code, capture!" As the last bits of fractal code entered his detector, Meramon disappeared. He landed, fractal code wrapped around him, and he devolved/.

"You are human!" Togemon exclaimed in disbelief.

Junpei sat down on the earth. He was breathing heavily. He just couldn't go on, "Man, I am exhausted!"

Chackmon approached him, "Well, it seems like this area is clean!"

"Hey," The pink-haired girl called as she approached Junpei and Chackmon, "You!" She pointed at Junpei, "You were a digimon."

"Yeah, I can turn into a digimon!"

"Excuse me!"

"Is that possible!" Togemon asked.

"Yup," Chackmon replied.

"It's like this..." A new voice joined in as Blitzmon appeared besides Junpei, "They digivlve with us."

"So you..." The girl broke asked.

"I am a human too!"

"That's amazing!" She exclaimed.

"Thank you for your help!" Togemon said, clasping her hands or fists.

"No problem!" Chackmon replied.

Another one of those guys, "Are you, friends, with those other guys who have digimon?" Junpei asked.

"Oh, so you know Koshiro and others?" The girl asked.

"I guess it's them!" Chackmon replied.

"That's amazing. I am Mimi,"

"And I am her partner!" The cactus digimon added.

That brought back some memories! "I am Junpei."

"Chackmon human name is Tomoki..." The polar bear digimon backed away a bit, "Why is she looking at me like I am a puppy!" Mimi grabbed Chackmon's cheeks and started pulling them, "Hey!..."

"You are so adorable!" The pink-haired girl exclaimed.

Junpei started laughing, "I think she does think that!"

"Stop laughing and do something!" Chackmon commanded.

Junpei turned to Blitzmon, "So you know something about this fractal code less digimons?"

"Hmm..." Blitzmon crossed his arms, "Honestly, no. This is the first time we have encountered them too. I bet it would be news for Cherubimon as well."

Junpei sighed. He had hoped Blitzmon would know something, "I guess we will have to figure it out ourselves." Blitzmon nodded.

"Mimi, I think you should let him go now," Togemon said.

Mimi finally released the poor/polar bear digimon. Chackmon was panting heavily, "That was a nightmare!"

"Thank you for helping us!" Mimi said.

"Sure," Junpei replied. He looked around as the previous thoughts came to the forefront of his mind, "It's weird!'

"Will you bother explaining or what?" Chackmon asked.

"No police or military!"

Chackmon gasped, "Now that you mention it..."

"Yesterday, they didn't waste any time!" It just didn't make any sense.

"Maybe they know they can't do anything!" Togemon replied.

"So they just abandoned people!" Junpei asked. No, this wasn't it. Police and military always get involved. Something was definitely up.

Another one was captured. One less enemy he had to worry about and one more step toward his goals. It's taking longer than he had wanted it to. But he could wait a little longer. After so many years, he could wait a few more days, weeks, or even months. He unfolded his multiple sets of wings and sailed down a few floors to those glowing figures. Soon another one shall join them. Waiting was not his problem but making sure to stay ten steps ahead of his enemies was.

They were only able to capture them one at a time for now. Motomiya and Inoue were caught easily. It wasn't hard to get to Hida, but his friends were able to reach him in time.

It wouldn't have mattered as long as some of them have their digivices. But they were on their guard now, and this method won't work on the rest of them. Their digivices didn't have portal abilities. They had to use tractor portals: a much less efficient way. But thanks to this new wave, they got the perfect timing for capturing Ishida.

"Do you always stand there looking at them!" The red-haired boy's loud voice must have announced his arrival to the whole world. It was hard to believe that this boy wasn't related to fire in any way.

"I wouldn't be surprised if he sleeps standing there!" The little purple digimon replied.

"To make sure they won't run away or something, I guess. It usually happens in the movies."

"What took you guys so long." He asked.

"As I told you before, some people care more about their bellies than work." The black-haired boy replied.

"I don't know about you, but normal people need food to live!" The redhead retorted.

"You are normal!" Impmon said.

"Oh, shut up!"

He turned around. The red-haired was carrying the figure on his shoulder. Raven hair! "That's..."

"Yeah," The black-haired boy replied, "We found him unconscious. Didn't even need to fight! I guess he switched places with Ishida."

That was disappointing, but it is what it is, "You sure he was unconscious and not pretending?"

"Yeah!"

"Put him down!"

The red-haired put Ichijoji on the floor, "Why did I have to carry him!"

The black-haired crossed his arms, "I carried the last three!"

"And I did 99.99% of the fighting!" Impmon added.

"I spied on them," The black-haired one added.

"What did you do other than eating!" Impmon asked.

The red-haired looked left and right: trapped between his accusing partners, "Eh...well... come on! You guys are teaming up against me," He glanced at Impmon, "At least you should be supporting me!"

"AAAHAHAHAHA" The imp digimon laughed, rolling on the floor, "Nice one, buddy!"

He turned back the tubes that were holding Ichijoji's three friends, "The two groups are allies now. And they are on their guard. Soon they will find other three legendary warriors too. This can be a huge problem for us," He glanced over his shoulders at the black-haired boy. Impmon stopped laughing, "You will be the only one left out of ten if we are not able to convince the other three to join us. We have gotta do something about this ripening friendship. "

"Hmm!" The black-haired boy rubbed his chin, "I get your point."

"I leave that to you."

The black-haired boy turned and walked back into the corridor that would lead him outside, "Give me some time. I am going to study. I will sow such seeds of discord that they will never trust each other."

The redhead scratched the back of his head, "What's that supposed to mean?"

"I have no idea. Usually, most of what this guy says goes over my head!" Impmon replied.

"Well, that's not very hard to do! Your head isn't that far off the ground."

"HEY!" Impmon lunged at the redhead.

"Alright, that's enough," He looked back toward the glass tubes. He could worry about some other matters, "First we need to put Ichijoji." Ichijoji had a lot of knowledge about digiworld, and the boy is smart. By having Ishida or Yagami, he wanted to erase the possibility of Omegamon as soon as possible, but this isn't bad either. Now they have one of his enemies' brains.

Note:

Tell me if you like.

I am at the point where I have to put OCs and my original spirit designs. I am not sure what to do about designs. I am not good at drawing. So I am not sure if should just add a description.
