A month and a half later all of the attachments were taken out of the kids. They had regular trips to visit their professor and were catching up on what their earth counterparts knew. Jonas stood in the doorway and smiled down at them.
Rosie was helping little Eva with her homework. Marigold had the nine and ten year olds under control. Then the two teens were actually doing their homework for once.
Some of this 'homework' was studying earth culture so that they would be able to fit in. By the time the next school year started in a few more months they should be able to join. It would do them good to be around kids their own age. Jonas had spent the morning arranging places for them to go when it was time for them to leave the base.
Looking at the framed picture of the Professor he nodded his head. We'll make it.
