Hey guys! Before you attack me, yes, I am aware this is like, two days late, but I've been busy and at least it isn't several months this time!

Thank you to all who reviewed and remember, I don't own PJO.

Enjoy!

Luke told me to wait around a corner, something about a dramatic reveal, so I did. We were in an open-air place, close to the edge of the mountain.

There was a woman holding something in the middle of it. I wasn't entirely sure who she was, or what she was holding, but it seemed important.

Another girl was tied up near a rock. Her red hair looked familiar, but, like so many other things, I couldn't place it. She glared at me, trying to say something through her gag, but couldn't.

Then three people who I didn't know walked up.

I hid around the corner and listened to the conversation.

A girl's voice spoke up, "Let Lady Artemis go, you scullion!"

"No." That was a less familiar voice, but one I still knew. It was The General. "I think all the Olympians will be taking my place from now on."

"No, they shall not. Father."

Father? The general had a daughter?

I definitely wanted to stay hidden now.

Another female voice spoke up, "Luke. This isn't you. I know it isn't. It isn't too late to come back."

I could hear Luke's voice darken. "I will never go back to them. They abandoned us all, but you're all too blind in your loyalty."

Then I heard someone whisper my name.

"Percy, come on."

That voice. I knew that voice. I thought hard. I thought that maybe there was a smidgeon of a memory of that voice. A laugh? Because we're friends, Seaweed Brain, Any more stupid questions?

I looked around wildly, but I couldn't find the source of the voice. I felt someone grab my arm, and I instinctively pulled away.

I decided to whisper too, "Who's there?"

A girl with curly blonde hair and stormy grey eyes appeared while taking a baseball cap off her head. "Who else do you know that can turn invisible?" She whispered incredulously, though somehow I could tell there was an undertone of worry in her eyes.

All the while I had to try to keep myself from screaming. That had to be the weirdest thing I remembered seeing.

"Percy?" I heard from around the corner. That was Luke, "Why don't you come out now?"

The girl's eyes widened. She kind of stood there in shock. I had figured this had been some kind of ploy, but now I wasn't so sure. She seemed genuinely shocked.

Then I turned and walked around the corner to Luke.

I thought I heard the girl sob, so I turned to look back at her, but she had vanished again.

I walked over next to Luke like he told me to.

Two of the three people standing in front of me seemed really shocked.

Now that I could see them clearly, I could see that one was dressed in silver, and had a circlet on her head. She was the one who didn't look surprised. The ones that did were a girl dressed in punk, and a satyr.

"Percy?"

I stared at them, not quite understanding what was going on. These were the people who were coming to kidnap me, yet they seemed so devastated by the fact that they had failed in their mission.

"Percy," The satyr said, looking like he was about to cry, "What have they done to you?"

To say I was confused is a bit of an understatement.

The punk girl was shaking with rage, "How could you do this to us?"

If Luke was telling the truth, they were good actors. but it was actually the third girl's response that sold me that maybe they weren't lying.

"I told you he would betray you, Thalia. Men always let you down."

Luke put his arm around my shoulders, I flinched a little. "You're trick didn't work. Percy is still firmly on our side. How about you show them your back?"

My back? I took off my shirt and turned around, and I heard them gasp. What was on there?

"The mark of Kronos would have faded if he wasn't sure about where his loyalties lie."

I wasn't actually so sure about that. But I had to do what Luke had told me to do, so I turned back around. "So, uh, maybe you guys should join us?"

All three of them were shocked into silence. The girls all looked like they were prepared to attack me.

I had a headache.

Something was wrong here. Who had been that girl I had talked to a little while earlier? and where was she?

I got the answer to the second question before the first one.

I heard the sound of metal breaking metal. I broke out of Luke's arm and turned to see the blonde girl lock eyes with me, then took whatever that lady had been holding.

The way that Luke stumbled backward made me feel like it was a bad thing.

But instinctively, I ran over to the girl and tried my best to help her with it.

It was very painful.

The less said about it the better.

"Percy..." the girl said, "What- what are you doing?"

I didn't even know how she was talking. I was losing the ability to think through the pain. So I didn't answer.

Be ready. I heard in my mind. Ready for what now?

I got my answer when a titan crashed into me, knocking me backward. I just laid on the ground for a few seconds, wheezing. That didn't feel good.

I got to my feet, breathing heavily. I hand touched my back and I sprang away from it. I whirled around to see the blonde girl.

"Percy," she hugged me and I didn't really know how to react to that, "What did they do to you?"

At this point, I had no idea what was going on. I gently pushed her away.

"I know." That was the red-headed girl I had seen earlier. The blonde girl's companions had apparently freed her. "They used a drop of the river Lethe and wiped his memories. I don't know where he got the tattoo though."

Wiped my memories?

That reminded me...

I looked around, "Where's Luke?"

Thalia looked pained, "He's dead."

I didn't really know how to react to that. That didn't explain why his body was gone though.

But I didn't have time to process that. Because the girl who looked like she hated me was dying.

Tada! The confrontation scene! Hope you enjoyed that! See you next time?
