Chapter 14: Little Girl Found.

Everyone hung their heads low as the casket was closed on Lisa. Marge could barely contain her tears and Homer looked as if he would break any moment as well. The congregation followed the pallbearers to the cemetery where they lowered Lisa's casket into the ground.

"If only she hadn't run away from home!" Marge bawled. "If only I was a better mother."

Bart felt as if his heart was encased in a block of ice. "This is all my fault." He thought miserably. "I should have never pulled that stupid prank." He fell to his knees in front of his sisters grave stone and cried out into the sky. "I'm sorry Lisa! I'm so sorry!"

And that's when Bart awoke from his nightmare. He laid still in his bed for a few minutes, trying to wrap his head around what happened. Afterward processing his thoughts, he came to one conclusion.

"I've got to find Lisa."

Bart jumped out of bed and grabbed his Mypad. He looked though news article after news article, hoping for any mention of a little girl that wasn't followed with the words "found dead." After several minutes of frantic scrolling, He found what he was looking for.

"Suffering Succotash!"

Bart ran into his parent's bedroom and shouted at them to wake up.

"Huh? Wh-What is it Boy?" Homer groaned. "I gotta pretend to go to work tomorrow."

"I found Lisa!" Bart exclaimed.

"What!?" Marge suddenly jumped up. "Where is she?"

Bart handed over his Mypad to Marge and she began reading the article.

"Young girl Convinces Feminist to Drop False Allegations against Family Man." Marge gasped when she saw a picture of Lisa under the title.

"It's Lisa! My baby's safe!" Marge hugged the Mypad close before she turned to Homer. "Homie! We have to go after her!"

"Right!" Homer agreed as he jumped out of bed and pointed to the sky, a look of newfound determination in his face. "The Simpsons are going to...wherever that article came from!"

(Short chapter I know. Really should have added this to the last one huh?)
