The battle continued to rage on as both Ladybug and Futuremoth brawled through the air.
Futuremoth kept firing energy blasts at Ladybug, but Ladybug was able to block them with her yo-yo as she was determined to stop Futuremoth.
Futuremoth charged at Ladybug and they went through the walls of a building and Ladybug felt a lot of the pain as she had gone back first through solid bricks.
Futuremoth then used some of her telekinetic powers to throw shattered pieces of glass at Ladybug and even though Ladybug dodged most of them some pieces managed to cut some parts of the sleeves of her suit.
No matter how many times Ladybug got taken down she would get back up again and even knock down Futuremoth a few times.
Futuremoth was on her knees and Ladybug tore of a part of Futuremoth's mask showing part of the future Lila Rossi's face.
Futuremoth just looked up and laughed crazily as she grabbed Ladybug's arm, dragged her to the ground, drove her elbow into Ladybug's back and then kicked Ladybug in the head. Futuremoth moved back and laughed but Ladybug slowly got up.
"You have gotta be kidding me" Futuremoth said "Why won't you just stay down goddamnit!"
"Because I have a mission to stop you and protect this city. You might have killed me once but there is no way in hell that I'll let that happen again"
"Wake up Ladybrat! We're in hell!" Futuremoth yelled
The two of them continued to fight through the air, both of them were pretty evenly matched as neither of them could get the upper hand.
Futuremoth flew towards Ladybug and Ladybug performed a spinning back kick to send Futuremoth through a brick wall, giving Ladybug some time to recover.
Just then Plagg flew in.
"Hey Ladybug" Plagg said and he began to look at some of the cuts on Ladybug's costume "Are you ok?"
"I'm fine Plagg, did you get Cat Noir?"
"He's on his way"
"That's good to know"
Just then Futuremoth got back up and flew into the air to look down at Ladybug and Plagg.
"All you're doing is just delaying the inevitable. You are just denying my victory and your death"
"Geez, is she just gonna keep saying these things over and over again?" Plagg asked Ladybug
"Yeah" replied Ladybug "She's just monologuing, it's what villains do. Looks like I'm just gonna have to kick it up a notch. LUCKY CHARM!"
Ladybug's used Lucky Charm ability and it manifested itself into a sword.
"All right" Ladybug said with a smile on her face "Now that's what I'm talkin' about. So how am I gonna use this to its fullest potential?"
"Can't you just yell "AMP IT UP!" and the idea just comes to you?" asked Plagg
"I'm Ladybug, not Action Man! But I'm quite surprised you remember that show, didn't it come out in the early 2000's?"
"While Adrien sleeps, I watch a lot of things on YouTube. Plus, me and the other Kwami's have been around for thousands of years"
A furious Futuremoth fired some energy blasts at Lady but Ladybug was able to use the sword to block them.
"I know that the chest plate armour is where all the akumas are. That means that this sword is the only thing that can slice through it, but how am I gonna get close enough to get a clear shot?"
Ladybug tried to analyse the situation to come up with a solution but unfortunately nothing came up.
Futuremoth kept on firing energy blasts at Ladybug to which Ladybug would either block, slice or avoid.
But when Ladybug got close to Futuremoth she couldn't get a clear shot at the chest plate armour.
"You fool!" yelled Futuremoth "No matter what you do you won't ever be strong enough to defeat me"
Futuremoth grabbed Ladybug's wrist to prevent a strike from the sword she then used her other hand to punch Ladybug in the gut and then kicked her in the back causing Ladybug to fall towards the ground towards the Eiffel tower.
Ladybug was able to recover enough to fly through the gaps in the towers structure as she went towards the ground causing Futuremoth to lose sight of her.
"Ladybug, Ladybug come out and play" sang Futuremoth as she flew around looking for Ladybug
There was no response as Futuremoth still flew around in the air until she was above the Siene; looking around and getting less and less patience.
"There's no point in denying the inevitable Ladybug. As I grow stronger, you grow weaker. Come out so I can kill you once again for good you bitch!"
"Don't you dare say that about m'lady" yelled a voice from below
Futuremoth looked down and saw Cat Noir running up the Eiffel Tower in the distance and he was holding the sword.
Futremoth fired multiple high speed energy blasts at Cat Noir but it they kept on missing as Cat Noir kept running up the Eiffel Tower and once he was at the top he pushed off with all his might and flew towards Futuremoth.
Cat Noir held the sword above his head with both arms and prepared to swing in downwards but he got punched in the gut by Futuremoth causing the sword to fly upwards into the air. Futuremoth grabbed Cat Noir by the throat.
"So the sidekick wants to be a hero huh"
"I'm not her sidekick, I'm her partner" Cat Noir replied while gasping for air
"It doesn't matter!" replied Futuremoth
Futuremoth than threw Cat Noir to the ground, he landed on the dock on the other side if the Siene. Futuremoth then put her hand up and caught the sword as it was falling; her eyes were always looking down towards Cat Noir.
"It's hopeless! You're weak, Ladybug's weak and I have gotten hold of the one thing that had the slightest chance of defeating me. You've lost!"
Cat Noir rolled over gingerly feeling the pain of not just the fall but his earlier battle with Frankenmoth. But when Cat Noir looked up at Futuremoth he was smiling, he was also laughing.
"What are you smiling about?!" yelled Futuremoth "What's so damn funny?!"
"Look up" said Cat Noir as he was barely able to speak due to the pain he was in
Futuremoth looked up at the sword she was holding and it started to glitch, all of a sudden it turned into Cat Noir's staff. Futuremoth pulled it in front of herself and saw that it also had a sticky note attached with the picture of a donkey drawn on it. Futuremoth looked confused.
(Flashback)
After managing to fly through the openings of the Eiffel Tower Ladybug managed to crash land into some nearby bushes. Ladybug groaned as she slowly got up.
"Hey m'lady" Cat Noir whispered with got Ladybug startled for a second "You ok?"
"I'm in quite a bit of pain" Ladybug replied "But overall, I'm still in one piece"
"Geez" Cat Noir said as he looked at the cuts on Ladybugs arms
"I'm glad you're here Cat Noir. How are you feeling?"
"I nearly got my ribs caved when me and the other heroes battled Frankenmoth. After the battle Plagg arrived and told me that you needed help"
"Yeah and I have also used my Lucky Charm" said Ladybug as she showed Cat Noir the sword
"Woah" whispered Cat Noir "Sweet sword"
"Yeah, I need to use this to cut through Futuremoth's armour chest plate and realease all the akumas but I can't get a clear shot"
"Have to tried to analyse the situation?"
"Yeah, but nothing came up"
The two heroes could hear Futuremoth calling out for Ladybug to come out and face her.
"How many of the other Miraculous powers do you have left?" asked Cat Noir
"Just the Fox Miraculous" replied Ladybug
"I've got an idea"
Cat Noir grabbed his stick and also pulled some sticky notes out of his pocket.
"Where'd you get those?" asked Ladybug
"I made a stop at a stationary store on the way here. I paid for them with the cash I have in a compartment in my staff. Did you know that our weapons can also store cash in them?"
"No I didn't" replied Ladybug
Cat Noir drew a picture of a donkey on the sticky note, attached it to his staff and slowly sneaked towards a nearby tree.
"Ok now m'lady" said Cat Noir
"Illusion" Ladybug said in a quiet voice to make the flute appear
Ladybug played the flute quietly enough to avoid being detected by Futuremoth as Cat Noir's staff was then turned into a copy of the Lucky Charm sword.
"Hope this plan works" said Cat Noir as he looked up to see Futuremoth yelling
"…..Come out so I can kill you again and for good you bitch!"
"Don't you dare say that about m'lady" yelled Cat Noir as he began to run towards the Eiffel Tower
"Good luck Cat Noir" Ladybug said to herself
(End of Flashback)
Futuremoth looked at the staff and looked down at Cat Noir in confused shock as Cat Noir was grinning. Cat Noir had used himself as a pawn.
"Jackass" Cat Noir quietly said to Futuremoth in pain
All of a sudden Futuremoth heard a scream and turned around to see Ladybug swing the real sword which cut through the chest armour releasing all the akumas inside.
"NOOOOO!" Futuremoth screamed as all the akumas flew out and she lost her extra powers including her armour and wings transforming her back into her regular superpowered self "Uh oh"
Futuremoth started to fall letting go of Cat Noir's stick for Ladybug to catch it. Futuremoth landed in the Siene with a huge splash. Normally a fall from great height into unbroken water could paralyse or kill any normal person but because Futuremoth had her superpowers it prevented any injury.
"Yeah!" yelled Cat Noir "You did it m'lady!"
"We did it" replied Ladybug
Ladybug realised that she had to capture the akumas but she couldn't capture them one at a time as there were too many of them.
Ladybug started to spin her yo-yo above her head like it was a lasso, the sting got longer and longer than it had ever been before. This began to form a strong tornado above Ladybug and this began to suck in all the akumas.
Once it had captured all the akumas the tornado began to emit a bright light. Cat Noir put his hand in front of his eyes to protect his eyes from the brightness.
"TIME TO DE EVILYSE" yelled Ladybug at the top of her lungs
Once the brightness died down and the tornado above Ladybug disappeared all the akumas had been de evilysed.
"Woah" said Cat Noir "Now that's awesome"
"Bye bye butterflies" Ladybug said as she watched all the white butterflies fly away
Futuremoth swam to the dock at the Siene but as she was getting out she saw Ladybug and Cat Noir standing right in front of her, looking down angrily.
"This can't be happening" said Futuremoth as she was pulling herself out of the water "I killed you. This was supposed to be the day of my victory"
Ladybug just clenched her fist and punched Futuremoth right in the face causing Futuremoth to spin 180 degrees and fall to the ground knocked out.
"That was for ruining my date and killing me" Ladybug said angrily
"Nice right hook m'lady"
"Thanks, now I have to fix the damage done. MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!"
All the destroyed parts of the city were returned back to normal and the destroyed Mothdrones disappeared.
Ladybug and Cat Noir dragged the unconscious Futuremoth towards the Trocadero Gardens where they met up with future Alix.
"I believe this belongs in your timeline" Ladybug said as both she and Cat Noir passed the unconscious Futuremoth to future Alix
"Thank you, Ladybug and Cat Noir" replied future Alix as she put some special handcuffs on Futuremoth
The others showed up along with Master Fu, Mayura, a still bloodied Hawkmoth and the Gorilla and they congratulated both Ladybug and Cat Noir on their victory. The others also gave their future Miraculouses back to the future Alix.
Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraclouses started to beep and they both turned to each other.
"I thought that the powers of my future miraculous lasted longer but I guess that I will have a lot to learn" said Cat Noir
"If you ever get to learn them" Ladybug replied to which Cat Noir understood what she meant by that
"So…. Pound It?" Cat Noir asked as he held up his fist
Ladybug just slightly tilted her head down and smiled, Cat Noir looked confused.
Ladybug gently grabbed Cat Noir's wrist, lowered his arm and the two heroes finally had their first proper kiss. During their kiss they both powered down and changed back into their civilian forms, the white akumas that were used to give Ladybug her wings all flew up into the sky. The others began to applaud as so many of them had waited so long for this to happen, Chloe was upset but she still clapped albeit sarcastically.
After they kissed Adrien gave his future Miraculous back to future Alix.
"I think we know what has to happen know" Marinette said as she took off her Miraculous off her ears and Adrien's Miraculous off her finger to which Adrien nodded
Marinette and Adrien walked over to Master Fu with both Tikki and Plagg floating beside them.
"Master Fu we have to give these back to you" Marinette said as she held out her had with both Miraculouses "Due to the fact that our identities were revealed we cannot continue to be Ladybug and Cat Noir"
"It is true that the rules of revealing your identities would result in you having to give back your Miraculouses but however after the events that had just unfolded today it would be hard for me to find anyone to replace you two. So, I am allowing both of you to keep your Miraculouses and continue on as Ladybug and Cat Noir"
"Really you mean it?" asked Adrien
"Yes Adrien I do. I remember when I first tested the both of you, even though I faked not seeing the car and being hurt you both helped me when no one else would. That proved to me that you were worthy of wielding these powers. Now it will be a new test to see how well you two can work together now that you know who you both really are"
Both Tikki and Plagg were pleased as were both Marinette and Adrien and both the kwami's went back into their Miraculouses to rest.
"Well today was quite a day for us" Alya said as both she and Nino approached Marinette and Adrien
"Yeah" Nino replied "It seem like some kind of kickass action movie, only we were getting our asses kicked half the time. Well, most of the time"
Alya and Nino showed Marinette and Adrien the footage they filmed of their kiss and transformation back into their civilian forms.
"Wow Nico how'd you manage to run around us and to the spinning shot without getting in front of Alya's shot?" asked Adrien
"Dude, when you're into film as much as I am you learn a lot and you also practice your shots" Nico replied
"I think we will remember the kiss this time" Marinette said as both she and Adrien remembered the events of the Oblivio incident
Both Alya and Nino brought up the delete option on their phones.
"Care to do the honours?" Alya asked as both she and Nino held their phones up in front of Marinette and Adrien
Both Marinette and Adrien clicked "YES", and the videos were deleted. They both then walked up to future Alix.
"I guess this is goodbye once again" said Marinette
"Yeah" replied future Alix "You really pulled it out of the fire this time"
Future Alix gave Fluff a carrot to re-energize and she transformed into Bunnyx.
Bunnyx then opened her "Burrow" walked the defeated Futuremoth into the portal but before Bunnyx she went through, she waved goodbye to all the others.
"Goodbye everyone" said Bunnyx "Especially you mini-me, keep staying awesome"
"You got it" Alix replied to her future-self as Bunnyx departed and went back to her time
Adrien walked over to Hawkmoth, Mayura and the Gorilla.
"The events of today are a lot to process with all that we've lost today" Hawkmoth said as the Gorilla was putting a bandage over the hole in his left arm "However, you and your friends managed to save the city from destruction"
"Congratulations" said Mayura
"You did good Adrien" The Gorilla said in a deep raspy voice to which Adrien looked at him in confusion "What I used to smoke a lot and it damaged my vocal cords, grunting doesn't hurt my throat as much"
"Well that explains why you never talk" Adrien replied to which the Gorilla responded which a grunt and a nod
Adrien looked over towards Marinette.
"Well I guess there's only one thing left to do now" Marinette said
Marinette held her fist forward, Adrien nodded and joined her as did all their friends.
"We're not complete yet" Adrien said and they all looked towards Hawkmoth and Mayura
"What, you want us to join you?" Hawkmoth said "I don't think we should, we don't deserve it after all we've done to you"
"True, but you did help us out today. But that does not mean that I have forgiven you" Adrien said to which Hawkmoth understood "Not yet anyway"
Hawkmoth did have a slight bit of hope in him that one day his son could forgive him. He also understood that the road to redemption would be a long one and that he was just starting to go down that road.
Hawkmoth and Mayura walked up and both put their fists in.
"Ok everyone ready?!" Marinette asked to which everyone nodded "1,2,3….."
"POUND IT!" everyone yelled
"I hate to break up the celebration" Master Fu said to Marinette as he approached everyone "But during your battle with Futuremoth; Electronique managed to get away"
"She'll be back I'm sure of it" Marinette replied "But next time we'll be ready"
In the future, Futuremoth was locked up in a special cell at La Santé prison. This cell was designed to neutralise the powers of a Miraculous holder, however since Futuremoth was now her own entity she could not power down despite most of her powers not being able to work.
Futuremoth just sat there looking at the wall silently. Her akuma that was powering Electronique was still working as it was in at a different point in time meaning that it still gave Futuremoth the ability to telepathically communicate with Electronique.
"Did you set it up Electronique?" Futuremoth asked
"Yeah I did" Electronique replied "I set up our "Insurance" right before I went to fight Ladybug, I am pissed off because that bitch broke my nose. I was lucky that I was able to crack it back into place. Now I want to finish Ladybug off and this time it would be for good"
"I admire your vicious and destructive determination" Futuremoth said "Afterall we are the same person"
"Once our "Insurance" is activated it will change the lives of those pathetic heroes forever and it will be something that they cannot change"
Both Futuremoth and Electronique grinned sinisterly. As to what that "Insurance" is; well that's another story.

Plus there will be more Miraculous Fanfictions to follow that will include new characters, new powers, some fourth wall breaks and even some crossovers.
I will also be considering writing FanFiction's for other shows as well.
I know that this has been a tough year for everyone around the world from the bushfires here in Australia that happened earlier this year to the global pandemic that is currently happening now.
Writing this FanFiction has been difficult because of my work, writers blocks and also because I have mild Asperger's Syndrome. I would like to thank all of you for being patient throughout the year and also for taking the time to read this FanFiction. I really appreciate it.
I hope that you all had a Merry Christmas and that you all have a Happy New Year. Here's to looking toward 2021.
