Strix was moderately impressed by Night City. Downing another Maiwan soldier, still her eye was drawn to the cityscape, admiring the destination, lowering the weapon and following with the others, sneakers emitting low crush noises as they walked along the damaged street.

"C'mon, we're almost there! Watershed Base isn't too far from here." Mio called, the group seeing said base up ahead that, sharing the trend of much of the city, was crawling with Maiwan soldiers, one of their drop ships hovering by and depositing several more of the elemental soldiers to the ground to fight.

The fighting broke out in a flash, Omin taking cover behind a ruined carriage along with Jessi as bullets peppered the spot they were in moments ago. "There's a lotta guys here!" They heard Viari shout, the rogue pinned behind a car with Strix and Jim. "Bossman, ya got something?"

"…I do, yes." Omin let out an sigh, Crackling, radioactive energy surged around Omin's hand, the Cleric stepping out of cover and pointing right for the thick of the troops. In a flash, a ghostly form of a werewolf, it was coursing with yellow, radioactive energy that surged about as, without hesitation, he decimated and mauled any Maiwan soldier stupid enough to be too close.

"…how long could ya do that?" Jim asked. Omin looked over to Jim.

"A while."

"Why's this the first time we're seein' it, then?"

"Because Ghost Burst taxes my energy core and exposes everyone to radiation that, in prolonged bursts, could lead to defects and even unwanted mutations. It's my most powerful ability, but the one that comes with the most costs." Jim fell silent after that, Omin turning their focus to the now deceased mob of Maiwan troops, the werewolf faded away.

"…well…the way in's clear. Let's go open the door." Mio stepped out from behind cover as the group advanced towards the metal bulkhead doors. Jessi was the one to open them, Jim and Omin taking aim and firing spells when, from within the room, two Heavy troops were silenced swiftly…and depressingly.

"Woo! Get bent you wankers!" Mio cheered, brushing herself off as she stepped over to the terminal in the room's center, entering in some things and fixing some stuff before she stepped back and pointed to the glowing green button on the keyboard. "Anyways, go ahead and contact Crystal. The connection to Ghostcorp HQ's still secure, so we shouldn't have Maiwan interrupt it. Not without us noticing, at least." Omin nodded and stepped forward, mashing his finger down onto the button as, within seconds, a large hologram appeared from the terminal of a strange, woman with cat ears, a robotic arm and an artificial eye.

"Hi! You've reached Crystal Rose Strongfork; CEO of Ghost of the coasts Incorporated and wartime general a rocking cat girl. Now, before I continue, I have a question: WHO ARE YOU AND HOW'D YOU GET THIS SECURE LINE?!" Omin hoped this wasn't his contact. She sounded, and looked, like a dork.

"Crys, easy. It's me, Mio. We got Watershed Base back under our control and these are…hang on." Mio face scrunched up.

"A-Anyhow, who're your friends?"

"I am Omin Dran, and we're Acquistions Incorporated."

"Oh shit, we're allies and best buddies!" Omin face palmed " So how many troops you got?"

"Nope, just us." Jessi affirmed. "Unless you want to count my biceps." Crystal looked terrified.

"W-W-What?! I can't take back this city with just you five!"

"Crys, relax. They're pretty good, might not even need an army with the skill their packing. Don't know what, but I can't imagine it's good for any of us."

"…d-don't remind me. A-Anyhow, I need you four to meet up with my top agent. He's about to strike at Maiwan's Gigamind not too far from here. If those zombies are here for the Warehouse, Maiwan's got the data on its location stored in said Gigamind. So, Mio can mark it on your maps and…well…stay safe! I'll be in touch. Later!" The hologram faded and the room was left with an air of awkwardness.
