At the very moment, Rita and Lynn were working on something that was both crazy and expensive. They were having their basement reinforced with metal, as well as upgrading the door, which was now a security that only they had access too. They had Lisa to thank for both the idea and design wise, for Halloween was coming up soon and Lisa had found out the worst kind of news...
Lisa:"Remember when I said that on a Blood Moon, we are bound to be turned into Feral Humanoid Beast?"
Lynn Sr.:"Yeah?"
Rita:"Don't tell us..."
Lisa:"It's...gonna happen on Halloween?"
Siblings:"WHAT?!"
Lisa had decided that it was best if her siblings did not now until the last minute, so they wouldn't freak out as much. In hindsight, probably not the best idea. Now, she had to deal with her siblings complaining, not only about not being able to celebrate halloween, but also being turned into beast on the exact same night.
Lola:"I don't wanna turn into a monster on Halloween!"
Lana:"We had all our costumes planned out for trick-or-treating this year!"
Lori:"I was gonna go with Bobby to a Halloween Party!"
Luna:"Same with me and Sam!"
Lucy:"Being a Lycan gave me new ideas for a Haunted House. Sigh. Guess that's not happening."
Rita:"I know you all love to celebrate Halloween-"
Lynn Sr:"Much to me dismay..."
Rita:"...But that cannot happen of your bound to turn. We can't risk people getting caught in this situation."
Lisa:"I am working on a cure. But I'm not even close to perfecting it. I fear that it may not be done before the Blood Moon."
Lincoln:"Than it seems as if we have no choice. We'll have to be locked up in the Basement for Halloween."
Lynn:"Don't you think your friends will be a little creeped out when they find out you had all of us locked in the basement?"
Lincoln:"Don't you think they'll be freaked out when they see eleven Werewolves terrorizing the entire town?"
Lynn:"Good point."
Lynn Sr:"With any luck, the reinforcements for the basement will be finished in a matter of days."
Lincoln:"Then it looks like we're clearing our schedules for now."
Lori:"Well, this is just great. Guess I better go tell Lori that we're off for Halloween."
Lincoln:"I'm bummed about it too, Lori. I actually had plans with Ronnie Anne. But she would definitely try to kill me if she saw me turn into a werewolf."
Lori:"So then, what are you gonna tell her?"
Lincoln:"We're all gonna have to make an excuse for why we cannot go. As well as hope that none of our friends come to our house."
Leni:"That's gonna be hard."
Lori:"Just try not to say anything stupid that'll blow our cover."
Lincoln:"Don't worry. I already got something planned out."
He lied. Lincoln didn't have time to plan any sort of excuse. Something has been picked at his head, working its way into his mind. He could feel it, and feared that his sister might feel it too. Once before did Lincoln look into the mirror, and saw his eyes glow a bright blue. It looked almost like he was possessed. In any case, it only have in a second, and then it was gone. But Lincoln see that the blue color stayed, and it seemed unnatural. He knew he was a werewolf now, but he feared that there's more to it than that. He believed that whatever's happening to him, he might not be able to shake it off.
Nevertheless, it was later on where he confronted Ronnie Anne, along with Clyde. He was trying to think of something fast, for under the pressure he was in, it was hard not to say anything about the condition he was in to them...
Clyde:"Hey, Lincoln. You ready for some trick or treating soon?"
Lincoln:"Yeah, about that...something's come up, and I can't go trick or treating this year?"
Clyde:"Really?"
Ronnie Anne:"What is it?"
Lincoln:"It's...sort of a family matter. Meaning, it's kind of personal."
Clyde:"Oh."
Ronnie Anne:"Well, at least we can still hang out at your place, right?"
Lincoln:"Actually, we can't. I...won't be there."
Clyde:"What do you mean?"
Lincoln:"I'm going on a family trip to deal with family matter that's come up..."
Clyde was in total obliviousness, but Ronnie Anne was seeing through this. The sweat, his body language, Lincoln was definitely hiding something, and she wanted to find out. One way or another.
Clyde:"Well...I guess we'll see you around then, Lincoln."
Lincoln:"Yeah, sorry guys."
Ronnie Anne:"It's cool. No need to worry."
And with that, they went their separate ways. Well, all except for Ronnie Anne, who pulls Clyde aside and waited till Lincoln was out of view...
Ronnie Anne:"Lincoln is definitely hiding something?"
Clyde:"What? How can you tell?"
Ronnie Anne:"By the look in his eye. There's definitely another reason why he won't go trick or treating. What do you say we find what he's hiding?"
Clyde:"I don't know, Ronnie Anne. Going into Lincoln's personal life is kind of wrong. Can't we just let him be for now?"
Ronnie Anne:"We're his friends and he pretty much tells us everything. No way we're gonna let him off this easy."
Clyde:"Okay...but I have a bad feeling about this."
Ronnie Anne:"Well, I don't."
It was Halloween, and the sun was going down. So, it was only a matter of hours before the blood moon rises and the savagery side of the Louds' curse took over. They were already getting into the basement where they would unfortunately had to spend the entire Halloween. There a few ideas they had in mind, such just locking them down there and letting them fight amongst themselves, or keeping them chained to the wall so that they don't rip each other apart. However, Lisa did them one better, and had something prepared. She had the basement filled with special pods, one for each of them...
Lisa:"Once inside, the pods will do the rest. We will fall into stasis until the next day."
Leni:"What's stasis?"
Lincoln:"It's kinda like how astronauts sleep."
Lisa:"Well, yes and no. I would explain it, but we haven't much time. Hurry, we must get inside the pods!"
And with that, each and everyone of them entered into their own pods. Even Lily had one, which Lincoln get in and induce stasis for her. He was the last to go in, as he felt rather hesitant, unaware of his glowing a bright blue once more...
Lincoln:"Mm... I'm hoping this works."
Getting into his pod, he felt it work on his own as his eyes grew heavy as he fell into a deep sleep. Rita and Lynn Sr watched every part of it, feeling rather frightened by this. Seeing their kids like this was almost like seeing them like coffins...
Rita:"This is so unbearable to watch. Our children's lives shouldn't be like this because of one stupid curse."
Lynn Sr:"I know, honey. But this is what's best for right now. They'll be fine by tomorrow."
It was done right on time, as the blood moon was now in the sky and covering all of Royal Woods in its almost demonic glow. It was then that they heard a knock at the front and went to go see who it is. Upon answering, they saw Sam, Bobby, Clyde and Ronnie Anne, who was looking the least bit happy...
Ronnie Anne:"Where's Lincoln?"
Rita:"Uh, what are you all doing here?"
Ronnie Anne:"I asked you a question first-!"
Bobby:"Ronnie, calm down! Let me take over. Mr. and Mrs. Loud, is it okay for us to come in and see how your kids are doing? I've gotten worried ever since Lori cancelled our plans together."
Sam:"Yeah, me too. It's not like Luna to bail out like that."
Clyde:"Guys, aren't we over thinking this? I mean, surely the Louds had good reason to not do anything for Halloween."
Ronnie Anne:"You know, Clyde, you're starting to make it sound like you know something yourself."
Lynn Sr:"Well, Ronnie Anne, Clyde is kind of right. You see, our kids decided to do me a favor and skip out on Halloween. They know how much I hate it."
Sam:"I hate to say it, but that sounds to good to be true."
Bobby:"Come on, Mr. Loud. Can I just see Lori for a minute?"
Lynn Sr:"Sorry, but no."
Just as Mr. Loud was about to close the door, he felt a force pushing it back open. It was Ronnie Anne who was forcing the door back open, practically fighting with Lynn Sr. to do so...
Lynn Sr:"Ronnie Anne, what are you doing?!"
Ronnie Anne:"Came here to find out what's going on, and I will get to the bottom of this!"
Lynn Sr:"Urrr..."
With surprising weakness, Lynn Sr. couldn't keep the door closed as Ronnie Anne barged in and headed upstairs to Lincoln's room. She was shocked to see it was empty, as well as all the other rooms...
Ronnie Anne:"Nobody's here. Where are your kids? Where's Lincoln?"
Rita:"Well..."
Clyde:"Hey, Mrs. Loud. When did you reinforce your basement door?"
Lynn Sr:"Clyde, stay away from there!"
Sam:"Why are you guys hiding?"
Lynn Sr:"We have not to say. Except, you need to leave."
But before he could push him out, Ronnie Anne grabbed him pulled his arm behind him, brought him to one knee and then had him in an arm lock...
Ronnie Anne:"Open the door!"
Rita:"Ronnie Anne, calm-"
Mr. Loud then feels his bone crack, making him help in pain.
Mr. Loud:"Yeow!"
Ronnie Anne:"Okay! Just let me go?"
Rita:"Oh, no."
As soon as Lynn Sr. Opened the door, Ronnie Anne wasted no time heading down with the others following...
Rita:"Why did you open it!?"
Lynn Sr:"Well, what was I supposed to do?!"
Rita:"I don't know. Be a MAN?! When they see what's out there, they're gonna-"
It was then that they heard some high pitch screaming coming from the basement, which was enough for them to head down themselves. Upon descending down the stairs, both parents saw the shock and frightened faces of the their children's friends.
Ronnie Anne:"WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THEM?!"
Rita:"Okay, I know this looks crazy, but-"
Clyde:"They look like they've been abducted by aliens!"
Lynn Sr:"Look, if you just let us explain-"
Bobby:"Maybe you two are aliens! You've replaced their real parents, and are now doing the same with these guys!"
Rita:"Please, just listen-"
Sam:"We have to get them out!"
Ronnie Anne:"Right! Bobby, Sam, start breaking those things open! Clyde, keep the aliens at Bay!"
Clyde:"Right!"
Before Rita and Lynn could interfere, Clyde grabbed a broom and started swinging at them...
Rita:"Clyde, please! You need to stop!"
Clyde:"Not so fast, Alien scum!"
Lynn Sr:"You don't know what you're doing!"
Ronnie Anne:"Oh, we know exactly what we're doing!"
One by one, Sam and Bobby smashed the pods opening, undoing everything the family has worked so hard on. The parents could only watch as their kids from stasis, gasping for air. They fell to the ground, all except for Lori, who was caught in Bobby's arms...
Bobby:"I got ya, Babe."
Lori:"B-B-Boo-Boo Bear?! Oh no. No, no, no. You shouldn't be here!"
Bobby:"Huh?"
Ronnie Anne:"Come on, Lincoln! We're getting you out of here!"
Lincoln:"Grr...Ugh...Ronnie Anne...you have no idea...what you've just...(voice grows deeper) done."
Ronnie Anne:"Huh? What?"
It was then that they saw was happening right before their eyes, and they couldn't believe it. They saw the Loud kids growing claws and fangs, sprouting fur and acting rabid...
Clyde:"What the-?!"
Sam:"Luna?! Luan?!
Luna:"Assam...Get...out..!"
Bobby:"What is going on?!"
Lori:"(voice turns to growling) You. Have. To. Run...NOW..."
All four friends, plus Rita and Lynn back away as the hulking shadows of the kids were beginning to loom over them. It was at this point they knew...they screwed up.
