"Call me when you get home?"

They walk down the sidewalk hand in hand exchanging glances as Kensi takes a lick from her ice cream cone.

"Mmm. This is so good." She takes another lick before stretching her cone out towards him. "You have to try it."

Leaning forward, the cone is almost to Deeks' mouth when Kensi decides to keep moving her hand forward instantly pressing her ice cream to his closed mouth and part of his nose.

He can't help but smile as her laughter fills his ears. If he could hear that sound every day for the rest of his life, he'd be the luckiest man on earth.

Before he can come up with a counter attack, she presses him against the wall, pressing her lips to the cold treat that's now covering his face.

"Best ice cream ever." His lips find hers as they soon get carried away. They're not usually ones for public displays of affection but considering they spent the last few nights apart people watching them is the last thing on their minds.

"I don't wanna go but I have to get to this meeting."

"Fine, but just don't imagine me dripping ice cream on other places and licking it off."

He pulls her body back into his, kissing her with ferocity that only they know. "On second thought, Luke can represent himself."

She smiles, shaking her head because she know just how easy he is. But she really has room to talk because he has just as much affect on her. "No he can't." Sharing one last kiss, they separate. "I promise me and the ice cream will be there when you're done."

"Call me when you get home?"

His brow furrows when she quickly takes out her phone and dials a number.

He can't wipe the goofy grin off his face when her ringtone starts to fill his ears. Taking out his phone, he answers. "Hello?"

"I'm home."

The spark in her eye just about sends him down on one knee. "That may be the cheesiest thing you've ever said to me."

They both hang up, putting their phones away, smiles unwavering. "People are known to say cheesy things when they've found the love of their life."

His heart beats faster at her words. It's not the first time she's said it but it still has the same affect on him every time. "I love you."

She brings her lips to his one more time, answering him with her actions instead of words.

They reluctantly pull back from one another's embrace and start walking backwards in opposite directions.

"Bye, baby." She blows him one last kiss before turning around and making her way to the car.

As he watches her get in her vehicle his phone rings right on time. "Hey, she's on her way, just hide anywhere so you can get the best shot. I'm gonna drop by the shop and get the ring and then I'll be there."
