Hey guys I'm so very sorry that this chapter is so late going up. I know I know your all probably thinking I've dropping off the face of the earth. I haven't. I just didn't like the laptop I had so I got rid of it and got a new one. Granted I had waited a few months until I could get a brand new one. So here hopefully I can get back to writing. I must send a big thank you to Cassandra who helped me finished this chapter up thank you so much Cassandra for helping me out.
Also guys I'm heartbroken that Supernatural has ended after fifteen wonderful years the show ended. I'm so heartbroken about it and so I'll be using this story to help with my healing of the show. So okay I will see you guys at the bottom.
*24hrs later Bobby's place*
Lexie couldn't turn her mind off. It had only been twenty-four hours since she had returned from hell. The smell of fire and brimstone still in her nose. She could still feel the heat from the flames. She could still hear the laughter of the demons in her ears. Earlier Dean had asked if she was alright and she had lied and said she was fine but in all honesty she wasn't.
Looking at the open of amber whiskey on the table. It had been her pain med when she'd lost Dean. Only now she didn't find solaces in the bottle. Running her hands threw hair Lexie sighed for what felt like the thousandth time that night. Taking a long drink to try and numb her pain. She didn't notice that Castile had appeared out of the blue.
"Castile?"
"Hello Alexia"
"So, it was you who brought me back."
"Yes, it was."
"You're the one who pulled Dean out and brought him back from hell aren't you? "
"Yes, it was me then as well."
Downing another drink, she got up to stand up in front of the angel who had brought Dean back was the same angel who had brought her back. What she wanted to know was why. Why had it been him why wouldn't it be another angel.
"Because you didn't belong there. You had done our duty." Cas answered as if he was reading her mind.
"So why did you bring Dean back?"
"Same reason I brought you back I was ordered to do so."
Lexie laughed at that softly. Orders yeah right.
There was something about the angel that she just didn't trust. She was grateful to be out of hell. Only she still didn't understand why. Mostly because she knew that her going to hell was to stop Lucifer from coming topside and save her boys.
"Castile, did I save them? Did I save my boys?"
"Yes, but not interlay."
"What do you mean not interlay?"
Castile sighed and looked at the young women with no emotion in his eyes at all.
"You know the story of Michael and Lucifer."
"Doesn't everyone?"
"Dean and Sam have apart to play in all this. You stopped the biggest part of it. Only there is a bigger part that Dean and Sam must play in all this. An even you can't save them from that."
"No! I won't let that happen." Lexie said grabbing the knife off the desk. "They won't be used in some game that heaven or hell is playing. You never should have brought me back. You should have just let me stay in hell to save them."
"Alexia."
"Get out!"
Castile disappeared just as quickly as he appeared. Lexie put the knife back on the table and began to pace. After what she did it didn't change anything. She might have stop Lucifer from coming top side. Only it wasn't much it broke her heart knowing that she hadn't really been able to completely save her boys. Dean and Sam still weren't safe from whatever battle they were about to be locked in.
Wanting to get away to clear her head Lexie grabbed her coat, made sure she left a note for the guys and let. Her dad was nearby which was very rare. She got into her old sixty-six stang and headed to her dad's hotel. She knew that showing up out of the blue to see her dad wasn't the norm. She just needed to talk to him. Pulling up to the Blue Rose motel. Lexie knew his room number because he always got the same room. Knocking on the door she waited a second until her dad open the door.
"Hey daddy."
"Hey, Lex come on in." James "Landon" Daniels said greeting his daughter.
"Thanks daddy."
"It's good to see you baby girl."
"It's good to see you to daddy."
"How are the other three important men in your life?"
"Good, Good Dean is back."
"I heard, I also heard you went to hell to save those two."
Lexie nodded looking down at the floor. James grabbed his daughter and pulled her into a hug. The hug wasn't awkward like always. James and Lexie had never really been closing since her mother's death. Pulling away from her dad Lexie went and sat on the bed.
"So, you went to hell to save the Winchesters. You always did have a weak spot for those two especially Dean."
"Dad"
"Lex, I'm sorry kid. I know how much they mean to you. Bobby too. They've been there when I haven't been."
"Not your fault dad. After mom I understand I've had a couple run ins with mom's gift."
"Bobby told me said you saw the smoke with the two Winchesters."
"I have to protect them from demon's dad. Especially Dean."
James ran his hand down his face. He didn't get her obsession to protect the Winchesters. Especially Sam the one with the physic powers. Rumor had it the kid had demon blood running threw his veins. Lexie had always been protective of them though. When she had been a kid and first met the Winchesters, she had been drawn to Dean. James didn't understand it he hadn't been able to even stay in the same room as John Winchester. So, for his daughter to have fallen for John's oldest son was something that really floored him.
"Dad, it as an angel that brought Dean and I back from hell."
"An angel? Are we talking white feathers, halo, servant of God kind of deal?"
"Yeah his names Castile or Cass. As Dean calls him.
"Castile huh? His the one who pulled Dean and you out of hell?"
"Yeah pretty much."
"Why?"
Lexie shrugged and laid back on the bed. James sat by his daughter laying his hand on her leg. This was differently the longest talk they have ever had. Normally it was a "Nice to see" and "See you next time you're in town." Kind of thing. So, for them to be able to talk was nice.
"Okay crypt enough why you?
"He said I did my job to well and that I didn't belong there."
"Killing Lilith?"
"Yeah"
"So, Eliza was right after all."
Lexie just nodded. James sighed and rubbed his eyes. He knew about what Eliza had foreseen and he also knew never to question his sister in law. Father and daughter sat in silence for a while. Lexie didn't know how to talk to her dad. James was the same way. He didn't know how to talk to his daughter. Finally, after a long pause James spoke.
"Lex, when you were born mom and I were so excited. I'd known what mom was for a long time. So, when your Aunt Eliza had her vision mom and I never wanted this for you. We wanted you to have a normal life. Mom wanted to train you help you to learn your powers. The day… the day that I dropped you off at Bobby's I should have come around more. I'm sorry I didn't come around more. I became a son of a bitch just like John Winchester."
"You're not John daddy. You left me at Uncle Bobby's because you wanted me to be safe. I know we've never gotten close because of mom and Aunt Eliza. One thing is for sure my dad and I love you."
"Come here baby girl." James said as he wrapped his daughter in a hug. "I love you to baby."
Lexie stayed with her dad until almost dawn. When she got back to Bobby's she found her godfather in the kitchen cooking.
"Hey Uncle Bobby."
"Hey kid, how was your dad?"
"Good we talked for a while"
Bobby nodded as he passed her a cup of coffee. Lex got the feeling something was wrong. She could feel it and see it in the way Bobby was acting.
"Dean is waiting for you upstairs."
"Why?"
"How should I know."
"Okay."
Lexie sat down her coffee and was about to head upstairs when Dean came downstairs.
"Hey, Bobby said you were looking for me."
"Where were you?"
"Didn't know he was in town."
"Yeah, he just got in… Dean why are you acting so squirrely?"
Dean stood quite as Sam came walking down the stairs. Looking majorly hung over.
"We got to go."
"Go, Go where?"
"A girl named Anna Milton escaped from a locked ward yesterday in a town about three days from here. Apparently, the demons are looking for her." Dean said grabbing his jacket.
"We got this info from where?"
"Ruby" Sam answered
"Ruby really Sam? We're going on a possible goose-chase for a girl who is being hunted by demons because Ruby says so?"
"I checked it out she did escape a locked ward. They're sending me the missing person report." Sam said
"So, because Ruby a demon who apparently your believing over the real evidence we are driving three days to chase the ghost?"
"That's what I said his basically thinking of her s family." Dean added
Lexie pulled Sam by his arm into the study.
"I should punch you in the dam face for even listening to that bitch from hell. No, I should just kick you in the balls for even thinking this is a good idea. I won't… Sam look I know you want to go do this and I know this Anna person is supposed to be a big deal. You must remember Ruby is self-centered demonic bitch. If it wasn't for her Lilith would never have come top side and Dean would never have been sent downstairs."
"Ruby wasn't."
"Bullshit Sam! Don't Ruby me anything I don't want to hear it. All I know is you want to go on a goose-chase of a case. Then go matter of fact take her with you. I don't know why you want to drag me and Dean into this. You're the one who wants to go chasing a "Ruby lead". You're the one who wants to trust a demon over your own family."
Lexie sighed before continuing "Sam I never thought I would say this to you. And I seriously in my life never thought I would have to say this, and it hurts me to even have to say this, but I guess I have to say it. Are you seriously trying to pick a demonic bitch over your family?"
"What no... Lexie I'm not picking Ruby over anyone. I just think that we should at least check this one out. If the demons are really after this Anna, then maybe we should help her."
"And what if it's a trap?"
"It's not Ruby wouldn't…."
Lexie put her hand up to stop him.
"You know what Sam go just go do this case. But leave me out of it I don't want anything to do with this case you got me. You and Dean want to run off and chase a lead go. Let me tell you one thing Sam Winchester one thing. Dean is going because you're his brother and his not going to let you do this alone. But if he knew the real reason you wanted to go on this case. Wasn't because of Ruby gave you a lead. You really want to go on this case because Ruby is giving you the one thing. The one thing you vowed you would never do. You're a hypocrite Sam you're a hypocrite. Go just…" Sam reached out to touch her, but Lexie pulled back.
"Don't touch me go! Just go!" Sam walked away tears in his eyes.
Leaving Lexie to go stand by the window with her arms crossed and a scowl on her face. She hadn't even back that long and already. She wished Cas hadn't brought her back. Lost in thought she didn't see Dean walk in and stand in front of her.
"Sam said you're not coming."
"I'm not"
"Because Dean, Sam knows why I'm not going. Look I'm not trying to cause a problem here between you and me. This isn't about you and me."
"Then what is it about?"
"This is about Sam choosing a hell spawn bitch over all of us."
"So, this is about Ruby and Sam."
"You know what Dean maybe you should have listened to Cas. Cause there is something I do need to tell you."
"What is it?"
"While you were downstairs. Sam was always off with Ruby somewhere. I didn't want to tell you because I didn't want you to know. I didn't want my suspicions to be true to be true but now."
"Suspicions about what Lex?!"
"His now going off on a wild goose-chase case. I don't know Dean maybe… Maybe he really was doing something unholy. I don't know what Ruby has done to his head. Only I do know this. Sam isn't the same Sammy that we know."
"You think his been drinking demon blood?"
"Maybe."
Dean pinched the bridge of his nose as he glanced outside at Sam waiting for him. Lexie followed his line of site. She didn't want to be right about this. If Sam really was drinking demon blood, then she would believe he really was a monster.
"Look, do you think there is any truth to this case?" Dean asked.
"No"
"What if there could be."
"Then go"
"Lex"
"No, I said I'm not going and I'm not."
Dean sighed looking out the window again at his brother. He knew Lexie wasn't one to back out of a case. He also knew she didn't believe in demon leads wither. For all he knew Ruby could be leading them to a trap. So, he couldn't let Sam go alone.
"Okay looks stay here and keep your phone on. I want you to pick up if you hear from me."
"Okay why?"
"I've got a gut feeling if this is real then we are going to need your mom's gift to see what this girl is."
"You're going to bring her back here?"
"No, but if I call you, I'll tell you where to meet up with us okay."
"Fine, okay you call I come."
Dean smiled her favorite half smile and kissed her forehead. Lexie felt the heat rush to her cheeks as he did so. She'd do anything for him even if she didn't want to. Dean had a way of getting her to help even though he knew she would fight him in the end he'd get his way.
"You better."
"I will."
"One more thing if this turns out to be a goose chase. I'll slug him first."
"Fine." Lexie smiled as Dean left the study.
"Not tagging along kid?" Bobby asked as Lexie went back in the kitchen
"Nope, I don't follow demon leads."
"Dean said he'd call if he needed you?"
"yep"
Bobby hated when she gave one-word answers. But she'd just stood her ground with Sam, agreed to help Dean when he called. Only to back out of going along. She really has grown up. Bobby though. Use to she'd go running behind them begging to go. Now she's not tagging along because it doesn't fell right. She really is just like her parents. Bobby thought to himself as he helps her to clean the kitchen.
*Few hours later*
Bobby was sitting in the study trying to figure out what could be going on. It had been hours since Dean and Sam had taken off. Chasing the as Lexie called it. "Ruby lead" one thing was for sure Lexie hadn't sat waiting around for them. After the boy left Lexie had left to go help her dad out with a local case. Smiling to himself Bobby thought This is the first time she hasn't waited for the boys to come back he was midway through his though. When Lexie walked in the front. Anger written all over her face.
"What happened kid?"
"Turns out that bitch was right."
"Right?"
"About that Anna girl she sent the guys after. Turns out she's real and she can hear angels."
"What?"
"Yeah, Dean just called they're bringing her here because they need the panic room."
"Why do they need the panic room?" Bobby asked
"They want to find out why she can hear angel radio."
"Let me guess Dean wants you to try and help her."
"Not me they should want Pamela."
"Pamela?"
"Yeah they think I'm two pissed to help them or explain it you'll have to ask them."
"Now Lex, come on."
"No."
Bobby was just about to say something when Sam, Dean and Ruby walked in with a red head who looked freaked out.
"Anna this is Bobby and Lexie." Dean said introducing the red head
"Hi"
"Hey, Anna nice to meet you."
Bobby said shaking her hand. Lexie just crossed her arms and smirked at the girl called Anna.
"Lex,"
"No"
"Alexia Blair Daniels." Bobby said her fall name with anger in his voice.
"Nope." Came Lexie's replay
"Sam go get Anna set up in the panic room. Deans go with him Lexie we need to talk."
"Talk about what? They drag in this red headed god only knows what all googley eyes. After their lead came from the witch. No, you help all you want Uncle Bobby I'm out. Good luck with whatever it is you are" Lexie basically growled at Anna as she grabbed her jacked and walked out the door.
Bobby, Sam and Dean and Anna just blinked. Ruby smiled and shook her head.
"She spoke her mind." Anna said.
"Maybe I should go talk to her." Dean said.
"Yeah ahh Dean if she drives off."
"Yeah?"
"Try and stop her. Something is going on with her I can feel it. Can't put my finger on it but I feel it."
Dean just nodded glancing at Sam. The brothers had a silent conversation agreeing that the other would try and talked to Lexie if he couldn't get her to listen. Sam nodded confirming said agreement. Dean walked outside to find Lexie leaning up against her car playing with her necklace. Walking up Dean stood in front of her.
"What?"
"Why are you acting like this?"
"Your acting like I slept with her."
"Did you?"
"No Lex come on."
"No, I said I wasn't helping you and Sam with this and I'm not going to you two wanted to go running to help this thing and that's your choice. No mine." Lexie said as she turned away from Dean.
"Lex"
"No! Dean just don't."
"Hey, I'm trying to talk to you about this."
"I don't want to talk about this Dean."
"Lex"
"No! Dean just don't"
"Hey, I'm trying to talk to you about this."
"I don't want to talk about its Dean."
"Lex"
"No! Dean just stop will you. I don't want anything to do with this! This is between you, Sam, Ruby and whatever the hell red is."
"Lexie stop just stop it okay." Dean said as he grabbed her by the shoulder. There it was the storm in his green eyes. It always showed up when he was downright pissed off at someone. The storm told Lexie all she needed to know. Smirking Lexie pulled back from him. Dean felt very weird. That was the first time she'd ever pulled away without fighting him. Not to mention he wasn't used to her pulling away from him. Dean pinched the bridge of his nose and turned away from her for a second.
"Dean I…"
"What? What Lex huh? You … you want to just walk away from us is that it? Just leave Sam, Bobby and me when we need you?"
"Leave? Leave Dean I never said anything about leaving. All I said was that I'm not doing this. "
"Why not?"
"I'm not dealing with her. It's bad enough you brought Ruby back here. Only to bring that red head in her. Treating her like I don't know like she's family or something." Lexie sighed taking a breath before she continued.
"You know what Dean…fine help me if she touches anybody in this house when we figure out what she is I will personally kick your ass."
"Fine"
Lexie just shook her head. Dean knows when she laughs and shakes her head. Something was still bugging her about this whole thing. He wasn't sure why she wasn't looking at him. Finally, after a few minutes Dean spoke.
"Lex what is it?"
"What?"
"What is wrong with you?"
"Nothing I said I'd help you and Sam with red and I will nothing more."
"Lex come on."
"No! Just shut up."
Dean didn't say anything else he just turned and followed Lexie back to the house Bobby was waiting for them in the kitchen when the two young hunters walked into the house.
"You two okay?" Bobby asked
"Yeah we're good." Dean said.
"What he said.
Bobby could tell the two were lying to him. While Dean might okay with himself. Things between Dean and Lexie were far from okay. Bobby wanted to grill the two but didn't get a chance to because Sam walked back from downstairs before he could ask what was really going on.
"Hey so Anna's all set up downstairs."
"Good lets go."
"Lex you okay?" Bobby asked.
"Yeah I said I would help."
Bobby just nodded not really believing a word she was saying. When the hunters entered the panic room Anna and Ruby both could tell there was some tension.
"Anna, Lexie agreed to help us." Sam said.
"Thank you." Anna said.
"Don't okay I don't know you. Which means I don't trust you. I'm not doing this for you. Sam and Dean mean the world to me. So, if they need me, I'm there."
"I understand." Anna said softly Lexie nodded and looked at Dean and Sam.
"Lex" Bobby started before Dean spoke up.
"Let's get started with all this."
"Alright, you boys got everything we need?" Bobby asked as he started double checking everything.
"I think so." Sam answered
"Maybe we should go get some holy oils and things of that nature just be safe. Dean, Sam come give me a hand Lex you stay with Anna here we won't be long."
"Yeah alright uncle Bobby."
Once Bobby, Dean and Sam left the panic room and headed upstairs. Lexie sat down at the worktable watching Anna. There was just something about the red head she didn't trust. Deciding to give her mother's gift a shot Lexie closed her eyes took a deep breath and reopen her eyes looking at Anna.
The red head didn't seem to have any black smoke or demonic signs around her. Lexie didn't see anything dark around her how ever see did notice something strange about the light around the girl. Knowing that there was chance she saw an aurora around her. Strange thing was Anna seem to not even notice that there was some kind weird white light around her.
"Anna"
"Yeah."
"Can I ask you something?"
"Sure."
Lexie stood up and started to pace around the room. Reaching into her pocket she pulled out a blue quart crystal that her Aunt Eliza had given her. Eliza told her there was another side to her mother's gift one that she only had use if she ever got the feeling that she was in presence of something that wasn't evil. Wanting to try this she turned towards Anna.
"Your parents they were good church going people?"
"My dad was a deacon at our church my whole life."
"Where you adopted?"
"No"
Lexie nodded looking down at the crystal it seems as though it was glowing not brightly and certain not like anything out of comic book, but it was differently showing that Anna was something and it wasn't demonic. She was something else. Suddenly as though something had happened Anna started humming something softly. Not knowing the language that she was specking Lexie realized it was togues. The language only spoken in church most times but when spoken not anyone could understand only one other person could stand the word that was said to have been from God himself.
"Anna what were you saying just then?" Lexie asked when the girl got quite again.
"I don't know I've always been able to speak old language."
"Old language?"
"Yes, my father prefers us to speak to him in the old language. All though it's been a long time since I've spoken it. I'd forgotten."
"You are an angel, aren't you? One of the fallen?"
"Please don't be afraid of me I won't harm you."
"Don't be so sure about that. I've only one run in with an angel and so far, I don't trust him as far as I can throw him. What makes you so different."
Anna was just about to explain everything when Bobby, Dean and Sam returned. Lexie jumped and ran over to the guys standing in front of them. Bobby knew that Lexie had figured it out something had clicked with her and she knew what Anna really was. The only problem was if Lexie was standing in front of them was, she a demon or was something much worse. Dean was the first one to speak up.
"Lex. What's going on?"
"She's a fallen one."
"A fallen what? Sam asked.
"She's a fallen angel. Isn't that right Anna, your one of them. One of the ones who feel when Lucifer fell from grace. One of his followers I'm I right?"
"No. I'm not like the other angels." Anna answered.
"Then who where was it that came for you?" Bobby asked
"Castile and Uriel."
"You know those two?" Sam asked
"We worked together so to speak."
"What do they want with you?"
"Because I have a death sentence on my head." Anna said as she moved away from the beds and to the table across the room.
Lexie moved out from in front of the door and allowed the guys to come in. She didn't trust this angel but so far Anna had been open with them about what she really was. All it took the humming to make Lexie know what she was. Still that didn't mean she had trusted the girl she wasn't finished explaining herself yet.
"Why would you have a death sentence on your head?" Bobby asked.
"I disobeyed father's orders. Which isn't allowed in heaven."
"How did you disobey god?" Lexie asked
"I fell"
"You fell?" Lexie asked again this time doubting seriously this girl was talking out of her mind.
"I ripped out my grace or my energy. I just fell."
"An let me guess when you fell you just forgot you were one of gods feather little helpers right?" Lexie asked.
Anna didn't say anything. This made Lexie chuckle of course she'd be not only little miss perfect, but little miss perfect angel as well. Lexie looked over at the boys and Bobby. Dean had that look in eyes the one he gets when he finds a girl that makes his libido go haywire, Sam was looking amazed and Bobby was just stunned. Not wanting to part of this anymore Lexie spoke up.
"so let me get this straight you're telling us that you fell from heaven after ripping out your little energy source and now you're human basically but you've always known that you were an Angel you just happened to forget because you've been on earth for certain amount of years you know what Anna I don't know what exactly your story is or why you decided suddenly that oh it's so important to get your memories back but let me just reiterate what I told you earlier you heard them I hurt you get it "
" Lex come on you can't actually believe that Anna would want to hurt us meaning she does have two Angels out to killer demons out together and for all we know she's probably got a death sentence on her head she said so herself " Sam added
" Sam shut up you're the reason she's here you're probably the reason why there are probably more Angels outside right now God only knows and now we're harboring an angelic fugitive you know what I knew I should've stayed out of this I told you to keep me out of this I told you this was a bad idea Sam but whatever sorry to say this Anna but you've got your own issues to workout"
"Lexie…" Bobby tried to cut into the conversation and stop his god daughter from say something she'd more than not likely regret later.
"No, your three want to help her that fine. Like I said before I figured out what she and I'm done. Go help her find what ever it is she wants to find. But know this Anna and your better listen to me good." Lexie said getting in the other girl's face.
"You touch either of them and so help I'll turn you over to the demons myself I don't give a dam angel or not. You do not touch my boys." Lexie said as she walked out of the panic room and back upstairs.
Once back upstairs Lexie found Ruby sitting in the living room with a bottle of jack on the desk. Walking into the living room Lexie just ignored the demoness and went stood in front of the fireplace. The two women were silent for a moment when Bobby walked into the room. Ruby didn't say anything but took that as her cue to leave.
"What the hell was that back there? Why did you say all that stuff to Anna?" Bobby asked her.
"Nothing don't worry about it."
"Don't worry about it? Lexie you basically are treating Anna like she slept with Dean and you caught them red handed in your bed or something?" Bobby said sternly.
"This has NOTHING to do with my feelings for Dean which by the way are dead!" Lexie shouted.
"Lex you know that's not true."
Lexie just laughed and turned to look at her godfather. She knew Bobby didn't understand no one, not even her dad understood what she was going through. Dean might have understood to some degree, but he was to busy looking Anna up and down trying to figure out the quickest way to get her into the back seat of the impala.
"It's funny, I'm gone twenty-four hours and I come back his not even heartbroken about it. His moved on to the red head who has angelic powers." Lexie laughed cried.
"Lex" Bobby said going over and wrapping his god daughter in a hug. "Lexie that isn't true, he was a mess while you were gone. He and Sam almost go into a fight because of you being gone. Don't even think that Dean doesn't care about you because he does."
"No, he doesn't…"
"Lex…"
"Look Uncle Bobby umm. I got to get out of here for a while, dad wants me to go work a job with him a few states over I think maybe I'll go help him out for a bit. I need some space and time to think." Lexie wiping her eyes on her shirt sleeve.
"You really think that's a good idea with everything going on?" Bobby asked.
"Yeah, I didn't bring my stuff when I got back from helping dad earlier I kind a figured I was going to go with him. I was going to tell you when I got back but Dean called so."
Bobby nodded he understood why she wanted to go. Only he wasn't so sure how Dean and Sam where going to take this news. Especially Dean they had just gotten her back and here she was leaving them again. Maybe getting away for a little while would do Lexie some good she had been threw a lot over the last few months and it was good that she wanting to get away and be able to clear her head for a while and work with her dad.
"You going to tell the boys?" Bobby asked.
"Tell us what?" Sam asked suddenly appearing.
"I'm. going to work a case with my dad a few states over he needs my help." Lexie answered.
"Oh okay. How long" Sam cleared his throat "How long will you be gone?"
"Couple days, weeks maybe I'm not sure depending on what type of case this is dad has in the works."
Sam just nodded his head and gave her a soft smile before wrapping her in a hug. He had feeling she was leaving he just hoped she wasn't leaving because of Anna.
"It's because of this whole thing Sammy, I need time to think just a couple days I'll be back Sammy I promise."
"Yeah you better come back other wise Dean will have a heart attack."
Lexie just smiled reaching up she kissed Sam on the cheek. Sam felt the heat rise to his cheeks at her touch as she pulled away from him. He hated the loss of her being so close to him. Giving Bobby one last hug Lexie grabbed her coat and was heading to the door when she heard him from behind her.
"I was right you are leaving."
Turning around she saw Dean standing in the kitchen doorway watching her. Sighing she walked over to him and stood in front of him. Trying to keep herself from blowing up taking a deep breath she spoke.
"I'm going to help my dad with a case a few states over I'll be back in a couple days, couple of weeks. I need a little time a way Dean. I'm not gone for good."
"Should have known."
"Should have known what?"
"The second you heard about us bringing Anna here that you would leave. An the second I caught you acting like I slept with her. Like I cheated on you or something! Dammit Lexie!"
"I'm not leaving because of that red headed feathered thing! I'm leaving because I need some time away Dean!"
Dean face went stone cold hard as Lexie saw the storm ragging in his green eyes again. He was pissed about her leaving she knew it. This time though she didn't care. He'd made his choice. Sooner rather than later he'd get the little red head in the back of the impala and he'd sleep with her. Lexie knew it in her bones. She wanted to get away before it happened so she wouldn't have to look at either of them after it was over.
"Just like that? You died to save me and Sam. We just got back and here you are wanting to leave us again? How is that fair Lex huh? HOW IS THAT FAIR?!"
"HOW IS IT FAIR THAT YOUR GOING TO SLEEP WITH ANNA!" Lexie snapped
Dean didn't say anything he just stood there with his mouth open like a big mouth bass. He didn't know what to say. He wasn't planning on sleeping with Anna she was a sweet girl, but she wasn't his type to crawl into bed with. Something else was wrong and he knew Lexie just wasn't telling him what it was.
"That's what I though. See ya later Dean" Lexie said as she turned and headed out the back door.
Dean didn't try and stop her he didn't even move. He just stood there in the doorway of the kitchen and let her walk the door.
Little did anyone know that outside the house the dark figure was laughing at how well the plan had worked with the little witch out of the way now he could focus on the Winchesters and how to get them to agree to play the parts they were meant to play in god final game.
So does anyone know who it could be that is watching everything from outside the house? If can guess leave me a review and tell me who you think it is. Until next time guys. Much love and supernatural.
Dean's Country Angel.
