It's a reaction chapter where characters react to the rematch posted on the web. It's been a long time since we saw the heroes from chapter one and two. Enjoy!
Chapter 12: Heroes, Students, Host, and Villains
As if the rematch got everyone so hype up, there came the videos being surfaced on social media. The town of Wawanakwa was hit by the most recent video request. The fight was about two quirked students duking it out at a barn. The people weren't interested in seeing the meances that are destroying the town at first. But when they saw that one kid defeating his opponent with such skills and bravery, they were shocked in awed. What's more shocking is that the town knew the teenager who won against the redneck.
Just like the entire school of Muskoka High, the town are left speechless that Cody Anderson, the kid who was accused of sexual harassment, had won a fight against another student who was also part of the Hero Class.
Everyone has been tweeting on social media in reaction to the video. The students tweeted how Cody won that match fair and square, unlike how he had won in the mock battle. It still shocked them how the school's pervert fought against a member of Duncan Myer's gang. Photos were taken during the fight and after Cody won. The students from the Hero Class were proud that Cody finally stepped up against one of his tormentors with great results from his training. It's still trending throughout the night until the next day.
The green haired cinnamon roll hasn't checked his phone over the videos posted on social media since he was celebrating Cody's victory at Phillippe. He had no idea how the videos are three being seen by everyone across the world.
And it was about to be seen by certain people back in Japan, starting with his idol and the staff from U.A
On Sunday Morning at U.A High, Principal Nezu had alerted both the staff and the pro heroes to come to the conference room immediately. It was nine in the morning, and the students are resting for the day before going to class on Monday.
Once everyone was accounted for, Principal Nezu greeted with a smile "Good morning, staff. So sorry I have to call you this early."
"It's no problem, sir," All-Might said with a smile. Sitting next to him was Gran Torino who was grumbling from coming here. Aizawa was rubbing his tired eyes as well as Hawks, Mirko and Edgeshot.
"You could've waited until later," Endeavor muttered, staring at the still smiling hybrid principle.
"It's news you all wanna hear. It involves one of Izuku Midoriya's students," Nezu revealed. It got some reaction from the gang like All-Might and Gran Torino.
"Let me guess, somebody posted a video of themselves doing a ridiculous stunt," Aizawa asked Nezu.
"Always what's on my mind, Aizawa, but you're really going to like this," Nezu corrected, sparking an eyebrow raise from Aizawa. Nezu began "Since Izuku had taken the job in Wawanakwa to teach the first generations of quirked students, we asked him to provide statistics based on the students' performances. I guarantee you all looked at them."
"Yes, we have," Gran Torino spoke, his eyes were a bit tired. "It's a slow progress from the mock battles we asked Midroyia to initiate. Flaws need to work out, preparing training for better use of their quirks, personality changes, the whole recipe that is listed."
"Young Midoriya is leading the students to a brighter future. He has learned from you, Aizawa," Present Mic grinned at his friend next to him.
"But he already expelled two people from his class," Aizawa added, lowering his eyebrows. "Midroiya had also sent videos of the mock battles. My focus was on that juvenile punk nearly burning his opponent alive."
"It's surprising that Izuku expelled the delinquent from class and from the school," Recovery Girl expresses her surprise tone.
"From what he saw how the students fought, the young boy had the right to speak up whether to expel them from the Hero Class," Fat Gum acknowledges the green haired cinnamon roll's responsibilities as a teacher while munching on a jelly donut. He had brought in a box of donuts before coming to the meeting.
"He's setting an example to everyone that if they want to use their quirks irresponsibly, then they can't be heroes," Endeavor said. He strongly approves of what All-Might's apprentice had done to shake the other brats' heads.
"Sir, about the video you mentioned," Vlad King reminded Nezu why everyone was here. The hybrid principle was slurping his coffee before replying.
"Right. This morning, several videos were posted on social media last night along with photos. All of them had to do with one student in Izuku's class," Nezu began, the laptop was open and as well as the projector being set up. Nezu clicked the link to the video.
The staff and pro heroes all watched what looked like a fight between two students from Izuku's class. One appeared to be a chestnut boy, and the other was a redneck boy. Both were wearing what they consider to be MMA shorts. The fight was like what heroes had gone through when it comes facing a villain on a higher level.
"What the hell?!" Midnight exclaim at how the chestnut teen nearly beat the redneck boy in a bloody mess. Nezu paused the video and addressed the people.
"Recognizes these students?"
"Those are the fighters who fought in the last mock battle," Hawks declared. "The chesnut boy is Cody Anderson."
"And the other one is Scott Fowler," Nezu answered the name of the redneck teen. "The video you are all watching is a rematch. Has anyone remembered how the fight ended?"
"Poor dude was nearly sliced to death if it wasn't for that serious hurricane blast he conjured! I don't remember he can do that from the mock battle!" Present Mic exclaimed. From the videos they watched, they recalled how Cody's teal eyes turned white and defeated Scott at the last minute. It separated the heroes and staff whether it was a flawless victory despite it being a mock battle.
"Young Anderson fought well," All-Might interjected, but was cut off by Mirko.
"But his opponent did the heavy work. As I hate to admit it, that red haired punk could've won the match if not for his cockness to end the boy's life or the kid could've called it quits when he's near his end," The Rabbit Hero spoke bluntly at Scott's skills over Cody's skills.
"I still say that fight wasn't a victory, even if it was a mock battle," Vlad King said, and Aizawa nodded his head with the teacher of Class 1-B.
"That is why a rematch was called for by Scott Fowler," Nezu revealed the nature behind the video. "Please watch Young Anderson again, and you'll like the results," He pressed play again at the part where Scott demonstrated his strength and abilities with his quirk. He nearly sliced Cody apart and hit repeatedly. But Cody surprised everyone (and the staff and pro-heroes) over his new strength and abilities he picked up. He fought Scott over some form of fighting style, including a technique in which he fired some kind movement at the redneck's left eye.
"That some shot he pulled off!" Snipe exclaimed in shock.
Then came with some exchanged monologue in which Scott revealed his infamous nickname (much to the heroes' disgust and shock) and Cody dismissed the nickname as pure bullshit, before Cody figured out the weakness of Scott's quirk, which he was able to use this as an advantage to finish his opponent off till Scott became unconscious.
"God damn!" Mirko exclaimed in shock surprise. "That short kid fought like a raging bee!"
"Impressive fighting style, and that technique Cody used to shatter his opponent's eye is something we have never seen before," Edgeshot expressed the fighting skills Cody demonstrated.
"And he even demonstrated what appears to be his first super move," Aizawa stated, his eyes widened in shock that a first generation hero-in-training had pulled off such an offensive move after one of his students had been sent to teach these problem childrens.
While everyone was aweing at the rematch, All-Might then noticed the fighting style Cody showed during the rematch.
"Toshi, what is it?" Gran Torino asked his former student.
"Never I imagine Young Anderson picked up the art of Krav Maga," All-Might said in awed, drawing attention from everyone.
"Krav Maga?" Midnight repeated.
"I've seen this kind of fighting style before; there's only one man I know from my past who's a master of it. Drake Anderson. The kid bears a strong resemblance to him," All-Might revealed.
"You know him, All-Might?" Nezu said in surprise, folding his paws together with interest. The former symbol of peace drew a smile as he answered.
"He's an old friend and rival. I met Drake during his services in the Candian Military Army. We tangle a few fights. Nice man to hand around. I came to several of his matches when he participated in martial art torments, but I will never forget Krav Maga. That's Drake's favorite fighting style. I never imagined his nephew was in Young Midroya's class. Looks like Drake found a student to carry on in learning such an intense fighting style. That technique that Young Anderson made was the Ippon Ken technique. It's very effective to attack a specific part of the human body. Too ability to learn. He told me about his very serious training. Not many people can't handle the kind of pressure under Drake's methods."
"In the end it was his own nephew that learned the move," Hawks smiled in respect.
"How about that redneck punk?" Endeavor stated about Scott's abilities. "With a dangerous quirk like that, he showed improvement than his mock battle. Using three different types of grip strength and his quirk, villains would have been sliced to pieces would, if not for his sinister monologue."
Gran Torino, Aizawa, and Midnight all frowned, with the underground hero adding "Naming himself based on one of the most infamous murderers in London just makes himself as deathly as he is from both the mock battle and rematch. Combined with his speed, he is as dangerous as he is shown. Why hasn't Midoriya expelled him from the class just like those other two who showed no interest?"
"I thought the chestnut follower was a goner if not for quirk thinking against Scott's quirk. Looks like he remembered that from the first day where everyone presented their quirks," Fat Gum nodded his head.
"Hmm, he's been paying extra attention just like Young Midrorya," All-Might grinned.
"From the video, numerous tweets started posting about the rematch and the aftermath," Nezu continues. The projector introduces the comments made about the rematch. "Everyone has been talking about Cody-san's accomplishment, and not doubting his personality and reputation if he were to become a pro-hero in the future. The whole town had seen the video; almost everyone was sharing the rest of the student's views of the Hero Class Izuku teaching."
"That's good news," Fat Gum said with pride, and All-Might and Gran Torino both grinned at their green haired student.
"If only those bad apples from Izuku's class can learn a thing or two from Cody," Recovery Girl added.
"I knew it was a good idea for Young Midoriya to teach the youngsters on the road for heroism," All Might commented.
"Wonder how the other students from Class 1-A and 1-B react about the video," Present Mic joked, unknowingly sparking a conflict between the two teachers of said classes.
"Oh, god," Recovery Girl facepalms as Hawks and Mirko laugh. Principle Nezu folded his paws together with a smile.
"The students are in for a real treat," He reply in how both students from Class 1-A and 1-B react to the video.
"Guys, check out this video request from YouTube!"
"Ashido, please don't watch videos while we're having breakfast; it set a bad example of improper table manners in front of Eri!"
"But this video is about Izuku's class! There's two of his students!"
The students of U.A had woken up to eat breakfast. Sato and Kirishima prepared the meals; pancakes that have chocolate chips, blueberries, cherries, and banana nuts. Eri joined with the gang to get some chocolate chip pancakes with whipped cream on top and orange juice. As Tenya mentioned from scolding Mina, they were about to eat breakfast to teach Eri when eating with the entire gang with no interruption, right as the pink skinned girl announces a video about the class their green haired cinnamon roll is teaching in the small town in Canada.
Kaminari exclaimed, holding a plate of blueberry pancakes "Play it on the television, Mina!" Mina skipped to the large television to turn on the app.
"Can't wait to see some action from what Midoriya had given his report to Aizawa sensei and Principle Nezu," Oijro stated as he walked to the couch to take a seat.
"Come on, Eri, let's see Deku's students on the big t.v," Urakara said to the little girl. Eri, with a smile, grabbed her food and sat down on the couch, next to Tsuyu and Momo.
"I've been waiting for which idiots are fighting. What I saw from what Deku sent us of the mock battles isn't met with our standards," Bakugo huffed.
"Not all of them aren't bad, Baku-bro," Kirishima declared.
"Some of the students showed lack of disrespect to the rules of the battle and used cheap tricks against their opponents!" Tenya criticized as he moved his left hand.
"They're not better than us, but they're trying for improvement in the future," Yaororuzu added to ease the Class Representative. Mina had found the video and played it.
As the video played, the students of Class 1-A saw the fighters of the video. Uraraka was the one that recognized both fighters as students of her friend/ crush's class.
"The chestnut boy, that's Cody-san. And the other one with the red hair and bad smile is Scott-san," The gravity user spoke in addressing the names.
"Remember how closed that redhead punk to winning?" Tokoyami spoke, eyeing at Scott.
"I got so scared!" Hagakure cried, her invisible body shakes from the outlines of her pajamas. "Poor Cody-san nearly got sliced by the horrible brute!"
"Why waste time watching this dumbass rematch after how that cheap nerd won?" Bakugo spoke, growling at Cody on the video. He was upset how the outcome of the mock battle came with that pervert using a move at the last minute. The short, spiky ash-blond teenager considers Cody as not hero material, no matter how tough he was in the battle.
"Don't be so hard on the boy, Bakugo," Sero spoke calmly to his temperamental friend. "That took guts to keep his feet together and not to surrender from the many bruises and cuts he received."
"Granted he chose not to yield, but his opponent's cockness showed no remorse in ending Cody-san's life. Then again, Cody-san should've accepted his defeat instead of relying on luck to end the match. A hero should never rely on luck against a villain!" Tenya said. When he saw the mock battles Aizawa provided for the whole class to show, Tenya felt outrage at some of the students his friend was teaching as they showed no potential goal in using their quirks for the greater good. After seeing the last mock battle between Cody and Scott, the Class Representative felt conflicted in what he made of it. Cody delivers some offensive, but his opponent gains the upper hand in both offensive and defensive in the most apprehensive way. Scott should've won, but because Cody couldn't wasn't giving up, Scott developed an unhealthy urge to end him, probably killing him. Then, to Tenya's shock. Cody demonstrated some power that made his eyes turn white and fired two hurricanes from his hand to win the match. A brilliant move, that's what Tenya would call if Cody hadn't used it at the last minute. It wasn't what he called a victory; it was nothing but dumb luck.
"Maybe the rematch would be different, kero," Tsuyu croaked.
"Everyone, it's starting!" Mina shouted, jumping to the right armchair of the couch. All eyes lean at the video where both fighters went into a fighting stance before charging at each other.
"They're fast!" Jero commented wide-eyed.
The students watch Cody, to their amazement, dodged Scott's punches and knee him in the face, followed by using his quirk to blast the redneck.
"Wow! That kid's got real tough!" Kaminari chuckled.
"Both fighters spent four weeks preparing for the rematch. Cody must have trained to the limit," Todoroki spoke calmly, though he was surprised by it. Like Tenya and Bakugo, the half hot and half cold user doesn't see Cody as someone who wants to be a hero since he used that shameful, but powerful, move at the last minute.
"Cody-san got this in the bag!" Mina screams, her yellow eyes focus on Cody repeatedly punching Scott in the face.
Just when Cody was winning, all students paused when Cody's right arm was sliced very quickly.
"What the?!" Sato gasped.
"That was a fast cut!" Tenya exclaimed. His glasses saw Duncan on the video, and said "Why is that delinquent in the video?! Midroya expelled him!"
"Shut up, glasses! Magma bastard is talking about something!" Bakugo shouted. All students then heard what Duncan had to say about how Scott was about to cut Cody's arm in the blink of an eye.
"Oh crap," Kirishima gasped while Aoyama paused in horror. The students are reacting the same way after Duncan explained Scott's improved abilities.
All of them witnessed in horror as Scott sliced Cody at superhuman speed, despite Cody trying to defend himself. The girls' flinch at each cut is shown from Cody's body; Yaoyoruzu covers Eri's eyes after the little girl whimpered at the bloody scene.
Scott trapped Cody in what the redneck calls it "The Boar Killer." Tokoyami closed his eyes in dismay, "It's over."
"Not yet," Shoji spoke, making the shadow user open his eyes to see Cody reacting like he heard somebody speaking to him from the audience to fight back. The chesnut boy then extended his right finger to blast Scott's left eye.
"Holy shit!" Mineta shouted, then felt a plug sinking into his right ear and shook him.
"Do you see that?! He used some kind of weird technique that shot an entire eye! What a manly move!" The hardening user exclaimed.
Even when his eye is damaged and bloody, Scott laughs manically toward his opponent to show how insane he was.
"He's scary!" Eri cried, digging into the Vice Class Representive's chest for conform.
"Now he's talking," Koda said, looking at Scott delivering a monologue about how he got his quirk at an early age, and revealing his official nickname.
This stunned the heroes-in-training. Some of them lost their breakfast.
"That's mess up," Mineta said, his entire body shaking from the fear of Scott's words.
"Comparing himself to one of the most brutal murderers that terrorized London in the 1880s, there's no logic in what he is," Yaoyoruzu gasped, she wasn't letting go of Eri due to the sudden fear she is feeling.
"He's not a hero-in-training; he's a villain-in-training," Todoroki declared, glaring at the redneck who took pride in his nickname.
All the fears were interrupted when Cody laughed and insulted Scott.
"You tell him, Cody-san!" Mina hollered with both Kirishima and Sero pumped their fist in the air to share her excitement. The pink skinned girl's eyes widened as Cody got closed to Scott as the chestnut boy said he knows the quirk's weakness.
When Scott took the chance to call his bluff, Cody grabbed Scott's hand by locking the blades with his fingers!
Eri turned her head from Yaoyorozu's chest to hear Izuku's talking, and said "Izuku-niisan!"
Seeing their friends, the students were explained by Izuku the weakness behind Scott's quirk as the redneck mentioned it from the first day everyone presented their quirks.
"Brilliant strategy in remembering the first day of the lesson!" Tenya nodded his head in approval. His doubts whether Cody would win is shifting down.
The scene where Cody trapped Scott's other hand that made the explosive user grinned sadistically "Now who's the prey, redneck bastard?"
Cody demonstrated serious fighting techniques against Scott that made Oijiro cry in surprise "He even learned Krav Maga! That's an excellent use of fighting style!"
As Cody had given Scott serious painful concussion, he grabbed Scott's wrist to spin his body around like a rag doll before throwing up into the air. Cody uttered, as he raised both his hands "Crushing Tornado Throw!"
All eyes watched as Cody blasted a powerful wind outta his hands to hit Scott's body. Finally, Cody finished the move by grabbing Scott's arm and slamming his head on the ground.
"God damn!" Sero gasped loudly.
"That was a super move," Todoroki uttered in awed.
Seeing Scott not getting back up to fight more, Cody ended the fight by brutally slamming his foot against Scott's face that left a foot-imprinted bruise.
"That was incredible! Cody-san won a match, and it was a real victory!" Hagakure shouted in glee.
"Now that's a mainly victory!" Kirishima grinned, liking how this rematch topped the mock battle between Cody and Scott.
Tenya and Todoroki are left in silence at what occurred. They never believed someone who lucked out from the mock battle actually won a real fight. A student whose teacher was a friend of theirs stepped up his game from training to get stronger and not lucked out like before.
Tenya said as he smiled, "You're doing a great job in learning these students, Midoriya," Like the Class Representative, Todoroki smiled as well at his friend's accomplishment. Seeing Cody in action and using his Air Blast quirk reminded the hot-half and ice-half user of a hyperactive student from Shiketsu High School whose quirk was similar.
As for Bakugo, the explosive user is awed struck between shock and disbelief. Once again, a perverted nerd had underestimated his opponent with improved abilities. A nerd from Deku's class, just showed him and Scott wrong.
He gritted his teeths, "I've been wrong by a nerd from Deku's class! Damn it! Just how strong are the rest of these assholes?!"
Mina kept looking at the video in awed with the chestnut boy being the champion of the rematch. She didn't see anything interesting other than being concerned about Cody after being heavily injured in the mock battle. She thought he put up a great fight. Now in the rematch, Cody improved from training after four weeks. He developed a killer fighting style the martial art stylist calls it Krav Maga. And he pulled off his first super move!
"That Cody guy sure is something," Mina said to herself as she was unable to take her eyes from the image of the chestnut boy with her cheeks being dark pink.
"Nii-san is a great teacher to Cody-san!" Eri beams a smile on how the fight ended.
"I agree, Eri-chan! Looks like we got some competition!" Uraraka declared, her fighting spirit is rising up. "I gotta feel we need to prepare if we're going to meet them very soon!" Tenya overheard her and also agreed with her.
"Then there's no wasting time! After breakfast, we must practice if we're going to meet Midroya's students!" Tenya declared.
"Like hell! I'm training! No way I'm letting some background characters from Deku's class get the best of us!" Bakugo shouted, triggering his quirk to set his food to explode. The explosive user marches out of the doom room to get training.
"Right behind you, Baku-bro!" Sero cried, running after him to the door.
"Bakugo, Sero, you must eat before training! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!" Tenya scolded the two students.
"Sorry Tenya, but we're gone," Kaminari declared with Jiro, Shoji, and Tokoyami leaving to get some training.
"We must shred some sparkle in all of us to impress Izuku's students," Aoyama added dramatically.
"Everyone, you're setting a bad example for Eri-chan!" Tenya shouted at the rest of the students that are walking away, leaving the little girl on the couch and Mina. Seeing the last student, he said "At least you have some senses in you, Ashido."
Mina was snapped out when Tenya was talking to her and blinked her eyes, "You say something, Tenya? Hey, where's everyone?"
"Attention fellow students of Class 1-B, I received a video that deals with one of the students from those smug self-centered Class 1-A students teaching in Canada!"
The students of Class 1-B heard the annoying voice of Neito Monoma waving a tablet in his hand. Reiko Yanagi looked at Monoma from her book with an uninterested expression, "Don't you ever get tired of feeding your ego of your jealousy?"
"This is important, Reiko," Monoma said, shoving the device at her face. "This is a video from those delinquents from Canada, the ones who used their quirks for their own misdeeds! Imagine my surprise at what lies on this video! Purpose Midoriya is a bad teacher that is leading them to rule all of Canada and take over-!" He was cut off by a giant hand chomping him on top of his head to seize his rambling.
"Stop insulting Midoriya, Monoma," Itsuka Kendo scolded as she swept the tablet away from him. Her right enlarged hand returned to normal size. "He's a good teacher from what Momo told me. He's actually giving them advice to his students on how they can improve their strength and abilities."
"All another reason for the Canadians to side with Class 1-A," Monoma gets up from the ground.
"Play the video, Kendo," Ibara Shiozaki said.
The Class Representative places the tablet on the table on a holder. When she played the video, all of Class 1-B saw two fighters preparing to fight in a barn, both students are from Midoriya's class in Wawanakwa. The chestnut boy is dodging his opponent, the redneck teen whose quirk causes his fingernails to grow razor sharp blades. The chestnut boy demonstrated his quirk that consisted of blasting air from his hands, and striking his opponent in the face repeatedly. It would seem the chestnut boy had gotten a hand on the fight, if not for his opponent slashing his body very quickly.
"Jeez, that guy is fast!" Juzo Honenuki hisses at each cut the chestnut boy received.
After a green haired mohawk teenager explained the redneck's three types of powerful grips, Pony Tsunotori shivered "I hope he's not going to be in our class."
"I pray he won't," Ibara added, pressing her hands together to pray for the chestnut boy.
Everyone saw the redneck teen, now called Scott, choking Cody's neck while calling it his move. This sent deadthy shivers down each student's spine. Then, to their shock, Cody used a move that deals with his hand at Scott's left eye that exploded.
"Oh my god!" Kinoko Komori exclaimed from her wide eyes that were under her large mushroom-like hair.
Just when Scott isn't giving up, he goes into one of his monologues in a deranged manner that reveals his quirk's existence and how he earned his nickname.
"He's not a hero!" Ibara shouted, becoming fearful at the rednneck teenager's current state.
But Cody stated he won't be anyone's prey, and announces he wounded his opponent's weakness in his quirk. Scott called his bluff to attack him, only to get his blades locked together with his fingers.
"Impressive, yet, risky move!" Tetsutetsu grinned.
Cody then revealed his fighting style that sent Scott to become serious daze with consciousness, and Kendo, another martial art stylist, cried "I didn't know he knew Krav Maga!"
And if that didn't surprise the students, Cody unleashed his first super move known as Crushing Tornado Throw that threw Scott into the air and blasted a huge wind wave before smashing his head at the ground. Finally, after stomping Scott's face to render him unconscious, Cody was declared the winner.
"What a determined student!" Tetsutetsu exclaimed, his smile increasing. "He'll make a great hero!"
"He has to be in our class instead of those douces from Class 1-A! We'll show them we have a top student from Canada!" Monoma ranted at his plan for his own class to outshine their rivals. As he continued ranting on, both Kendo and Ibara stared at the video with their minds on a certain chestnut boy. They barely knew much about the students from the town in Canada and Izuku Midoriya was sent to teach them how to use their quirks to become heroes. Their sensei told them about the town being livid against the people with quirks that resulted in many destruction. After seeing the video, this boy was an example of Izuku's teachings. How he showed determination and his strength and abilities to topple his opponent. To Ibara, he was like a shining hero that came from the heavens to teach those who want to follow heroism instead of a dark path. To Kendo, she saw him as someone not taking any badmouth from anyone who thinks otherwise and an excellent fighter in Krav Maga.
Maybe they'll ask Midoriya if they can meet the boy one day.
Mei Hatsume was working on one of her inventions she dubbed as her babies in the Support classroom. She was alone like always with the entire room all to herself. Right as she was fixing a compactor, her phone vibrates that was placed on the desk.
Checking it out, it was a video notification from YouTube.
Mei wasn't one to take a break from something like a video, but the young inventor saw the words that read "EPIC REMATCH FROM HERO CLASS!" that paused her work. Mei remembered from several of the students of Class 1-A that Izuku Midoriya took a teaching job in Canada to teach first generations quirks. Power Loader, who was part of the meeting the first time Nezu brought up the issue, told Mei how things were in Wawanakwa that caused the entire town to dislike pro-heroes.
Mei hadn't heard much of the green haired cinnamon roll over a month ago; she was curious to see the kind of students Wawanakwa had to offer. Perpash having an idea what to invent as part of their hero costumes. The Support Department received massive costume applications from the students in Muskoka High.
Pressing the notification brought her to the YouTube app, Mei watched the beginning of the video where she saw two fighters, a chestnut boy with teal eyes and redneck boy. Both of them were dressed in MMA outfits that she recognizes from some video she witnessed before. Mei saw the chestnut boy dodging his opponent's punches and kicks. He struck his opponent so many times.
"Wow, he's good," Mei said in awed.
But it didn't last long as the redneck teen unleashed his quirk, fingernail razor blades. She flinches in shock as the young inventor watches the poor chestnut boy being cut numerous times at such speed.
"Note to self, don't make a glove with knives as fingers to retract," Mei muttered to herself.
Mei kept watching the scene; her eyes never looked away as the chestnut boy called Cody broke free from his opponent's grip, who was called Scott, by some clever technique that extended his fist to probably destroy Scott's left eye. The sight of it caused Mei to write down the technique and possibly an invention based on it.
As Scott told Cody his horrid nickname, Cody just laughed and insulted his opponent that brought a smile to Mei. Her cheeks started to warm from his brave statement, right as he came to the part where he knows Scott's quirk's weakness. He demonstrated by stopping Scott's attack with his fingers locking his hand. Now he got the upper hand, Cody impressed the audiences with Krav Maga moves, and unleashed his first super move called Crushing Tornado Throw.
A loud gasp escape from the young inventor as she uttered "What an amazing quirk! And that super move! I can come up with something as effective for Cody-san!" She stands up to go to her sensei's desk and takes out the file that consists of the hero costume forms from Muskoka High. She quickly found Cody's application and scanned the information of his suit and design.
"Cody Anderson, you are going to love my baby!" Mei declared, as she can wait to get started on making an invention for the chestnut boy. For some reason, she had taken a sudden interest in him from the video.
Camie Utsushimi paused from eating her begal when she got a text message. She looked at the phone to see the message was sent by Inasa.
The message reads "Camie, get a load of the video! It's about the kids from Canada that U.A sent one of their students there to teach!"
She saw the video link, and pressed it. The beginning of the video was about two teenagers fighting in a barn. Her dark brown eyes looked at the chestnut boy striking the first punch right as he delivered several blows.
"He's kinda cute," Camie said with a small smile. But when the opponent's quirk triggered, she grew worried when those knives cut the cute boy's arm. "Oh dear."
The opponent with red hair scratch all over the cute chestnut boy's body. Camie put her hand closed to her mouth with more worry. He was being choked out of him, until the cute boy that she knew as Cody broke free from damaging Scott's left eye. Camie clapped her hands in delight as he was safe. When Scott gave his terrifying nickname, Cody just laughed at him for being a chatterbox and guys like him aren't meant to be prey. Camie is starting to get scared for the boy's safety.
"I hope he wins," She whispered.
Her answer came when Cody blocked Scott's hand after announcing he knows the quirk's weakness. After beating Scott with an impressive fighting style, Cody threw the redneck into the air and blasted a powerful wind that hit the redneck's body and slammed his head to the ground.
"He did it!" Camie cried in joy once Cody delivered a final stomp on his opponent's face. "Wow, not only he's cute, but he's strong!" She put her hands on both her cheeks and arms resting on the table with fascination in her face. "I hope I get to meet him."
Yu Takeyama, also known as Mt. Lady, was resting on the couch as part of her day's off. Though she wishes there was some action right about now. She is scrolling on her tablet with a cup of coffee resting on the table.
She moans in annoyance as she lazily watches videos on YouTube. "Is there anything I wanna watch instead of some damn cat videos?" She muttered, her finger kept scrolling down when her purple eyes landed on a video that was about a rematch. She clicked on the video and looked at the description. The fight was about two students from a hero course in Muskoka High. The vanity superheroine knew about the trouble around the small town in Canada; she snorted in dismay over the butch of whiners that don't want heroes protecting their country. She was surprised that U.A had sent somebody from Aizawa's class to teach the first generation. Still, she was wondering how tough the canadian students are.
The video started, Yu watched the chestnut boy fighting a redneck boy. The vanity superheroine watched as the chestnut boy struck at his opponent repeatedly.
"One heck of a punch!" Yu cried in amusement. Then she saw Scott, the redneck teen, summon his quirk. "That's not good."
The pro-hero watched as Cody is being cut by the blades with hissing through her teeths. When Cody defended himself, it allowed Scott to trap Cody by choking his neck as he called his move.
"Choking at a battle? So unfair!" Yu uttered in disgust. "Poor kid. He gave it all he can-holy shit!" She exclaimed as Cody did something that popped Scott's left eye like a balloon.
The pro hero begins to listen to Scott's dramatic monologue of referring to his opponent as his predator and announcing his nickname based on a certain murderer in 1880s London.
"Kick his fuckin ass!" Yu cried out to Cody as she heard him laugh at his bullshit statement. Scott calls Cody's bluff after concluding his weakness, and ends up being a prey himself. A smirk form her face, "It's show time!" She was blown away at Cody's Krav Maga and his super move.
When the fight ended in Cody's victory, Yu chuckled "Damn, not bad for a first timer! Makes me wonder if the rest of the kids are just as strong as them," Then a thought hit her. "Wonder if I should ask Erasure Head to send me to Canada to meet these kiddies, especially Cody. He could be interested in interning under me. After all," She presses her bosom up with a lecherous manner. "What boy his age can resist me?"
Meanwhile, back at Wawanakwa, at a luxcious mansion, a self-centered arrogant man was enjoying the start of his Sunday before going to work at his infamous talk show.
"Jeez, there's barely anything I can find on Facebook," Chris Mclain complained, his fingers were swiping from the video on social media from his tablet. He wanted to find at least some videos made by the quirk people for him to use on his show. It's been one of the top highest shows in town. On his plate was sunny side up eggs, two pieces of toast and slice of bacon made by one of the cooks. He shared no appreciation of the meal than eating two bites of the yokes.
His black eyes locked at a video of what appeared to be a fight. Being interested in the title called "Air Nerd Conquers Rematch!"
As the video starts, Chris recognizes one of the fighters. "Hey, is that kid I usually used on my show," He muttered, letting out a few sarcastic laughs. He couldn't wait to see this poor excuse of a nerd get his ass kick-
Chris' eyes widen as Cody fights back against his opponent with incredible fighting moves. He would've thought the redneck kid had the upper hand due to those weird, but sick, finger blades. He sliced the nerd at the blink of his eyes! He focuses on every scene he absorbed from the fight; the dialogue, the insults, the drama, and the determination! And that outrageous wind blast he did after lifting his opponent into the air.
"I'll be damn," Chris said in breathless. Never would he imagine that Cody Anderson, the kid in the embarrassing video has become a number one topic in his own talk show, has fought and defeated an opponent who was a higher level. The arrogant talk show host saw the views the video had seen. Over three million people and counting! He went to the comments section and read the people being hyped up on the rematch and praised Cody for his incredible heroism.
"So the little pervert put on his big boy undies and fought like a man," Chris muttered to himself. He felt a scowl coming; this was going to put a damper on his show. By now no one wants to watch that embarrassing video where that loser blew those girl's clothes away.
But then, an idea just came to him in his narcissistic brain. People are loving Cody in the video; they're treating him like a celebrity. This could be good for his show. His show needs those kinds of excitement instead of Dakota's boring videos of herself and Duncan setting private property on fire.
A devious smile formed in the man's face before chuckling "Cody my friend, looks like you are about to get your lucky stars."
It seems the entire world is reacting to the rematch where Cody Anderson is victorious. From the heroes in Japan, to the heroes-in-training, and to an arrogant and narcissistic talk show host. And that includes villains who are hiding in the shadows.
At an abandoned warehouse, the League of Villains are shown interacting by something that caught their interest from one of the members, Twice.
"A hero school in Canada?" Tomura Shigaraki spoke hatefuly. All villains looked at the video of the rematch that Twice founded.
"Yes, and guess who's there as the teacher," Twice spoke, his finger pointing at a certain someone from the audience.
"Izuku-kun!" Himiko Toga greeted sadistically with a lovesick smile.
Since the downfall of Overhault, the League of Villains have been careful what to do next. They were hiding from the heroes, and their activity was like a slow steady line. Desperate to spread a little chaos, Tomura sends Himiko, Twice, Spinner, and Dabi in disguises to look for anything that would make them strike. A month later, they found nothing. This angers their leader. Then one of the villains, Twice, came across a video and alerted the other villains. To their amazement, these fighters have quirks, and Izuku Midoriya was in the crowd.
"As if that green haired bastard had caused enough problems, now we gotta deal with more heroes from Canada?" Tomura glared, stretching his neck in anxiety.
Spinner looked at the description from the video and said "The video was taken from a town called Wawanakwa, and the students go to Muskoka High."
Dabi looked at the massive students among the crowd cheering for the fighters, "Looks like an army," He remarked.
"That's going to be a problem," Twice declared before his voice switches his other personality. "We could've been great teachers! Can I teach the one with the Freddy Kurger finger blades?"
The villains all watched as Scott sliced Cody's body that triggered a lustful moan from Himiko. "All that blood~!" She said, licking her lips.
Tomura leaned closer at the part where Scott trapped Cody by choking his neck with a raised eyebrow, as if suggesting he got the upper hand. But was proven wrong when that chestnut punk blew up Scott's left eye.
"My word!" Mr. Compress exclaimed, Dabi is shocked as well. Himiko drooled more from the large blood erupted.
The villains watch more in interest as Scott delivers a monologue on how his quirk made him a predator that earned him his nickname.
"Scotty The Ripper?" Dabi repeated the name.
"Like Jack The Ripper," Twice added. "But cooler!"
Tomura let it sink in with his mood ease, and his mood level rose when Cody declared he wasn't going to be anyone's prey. It would seem Scott was about to win the match when Cody got close to him, but has fallen into a trap by the chestnut boy.
"Ahh, he should have been so foolish!" Toruma argued.
All members of the League of Villains watched as Cody delivered serious techniques in Krav Maga. He summons a powerful wind blast after throwing Scott into the air, and finishing off by stomping his foot to his face. All villains looked at their leader with some being scared at how the fight ended.
"Impressive," Toruma said, much to the surprise of everyone. "Simply impressive."
"Looks like the kid got a handle on his quirk," Twice said. "Aw! Does that mean I won't get to see that video where he blew those clothes away ever again?"
"Krav Maga. Great fighting style," Dabi commented on the chestnut boy's fighting techniques.
"But how about that redneck punk?" Mr. Compress spoke. "Incredible speed, strength, and abilities makes him one of us as he stated."
"I wanna meet him!" Himiko spoke in delight.
With some members commenting on both fighters, Tomura spoke "What do we know about Wawanakwa?"
"The town suffered financially due to the damages caused by the people possessed with quirks. All citizens have disliked ever pro-heroes, and don't want at least one protecting them," Mr. Compress spoke, making Tomura nod his head in approval. "But with this video out in public, it could result in changing their opinions."
"No, that won't do," Toruma uttered, shaking his head. "I like their views on every pro-heroes. If they dislike All-Might, then they're my friends," He formed a sinister grin.
"Seeing this kid in action, we don't know how powerful those students are," Spinner said as he crossed his arms and looked at Cody on the screen. "He could very well be the first pro-hero."
"Like All-Might?" Tomura spitted in a sneer. "Like Izuku Midoriya? Not gonna happen. If the town wants all heroes to be prohibited, then we'll be their messengers."
"We're going to Canada?" Twice asked.
"I said we're going to be their messengers," The leader repeated with his tone in venom. "And we'll provide the message. Find anyone you can. There's bound to be villains who are hiding from both the law and pro-heroes. Don't come back until you find someone that can scare the entire town and kill those pests."
"Understood, Tomura," Dabi answered, and he and the other villains left to get their disguises to go out and find someone who can deal with those annoying brats from Wawanakwa.
Tomura then glared at Cody and his happy expression that rubbed him bitterly. "Cody Anderson. You're just like Midoirya, a throne in my palm!"
How was it? The heroes and heroes-in-training have seen the rematch between Cody and Scott. It got the attention of Mina, Mei, Ibara, Camie, Itsuka, and Mt. Lady of seeing Cody fight to the end. That's the beginning of their affection to the young chestnut hero-in-training. But it also brought in the attention of Chris Mclean and The League of Villains. Chris saw some potential in Cody that he could take advantage of, and Tomura has become pissed off at the hero course his rival is teaching. I have an idea for the assassin the League of Villains would send to kill Cody and his friends. Well, hope you all like my chapter.
