(Meanwhile in the Maverick Hunter HQ)

The group stays quiet and Palette suddenly asks, "Will this lie work, commander?"

"Y-Yeah... if this human found out what you told her is an huge lie," Douglas pointed out shakily, "Than she'll... she'll..."

"I am sure she wouldn't figure out." Signas replied, "After all, by the time she realised it, it would be too late."

(Flashback)

"WAIT!" Colonel shouted as he said, "Fine... I... I'll tell you..."

"... Good. See? It isn't that hard, is it?" J asked sadistically.

Signas closes his eyes for a moment as he calms himself down, and says "... Those boys are special in their own way. Axl was a swordsman, Zero has the ability to copy others and X has experienced with guns."

Hunter J raises her eyebrow as she stares at him. She couldn't tell if he's being honest or not. After all, Signas has the most stoic expression she seen in anyone. Than again, those are just some robots she's talking to and, to her knowledge, robots are incapable of lying since it's not part of their programming.

"... Fine..." J replied, "If I'm getting it correctly, those boys have combat experience, and this little girl is their friend, and used to be a robot, correct?"

"It's reploid you-" Palette called out angrily until Layer covers her mouth, and Signas nods.

"Whatever." J replied, "Oh! And if I find out you're lying to me... I'll make sure I'll bring her head back home safely."

Than, J cuts off the call; not realising that Signas was lying to her the entire time.

(Flashback ends)

Everybody stays quiet as Palette starts fidgeting with her hands while Layer keeps her head down as she mumbles, "I hope you are correct, Commander..."

(Back in the present with the trio)

The trio walks through the cave as Wildfire's flames dimly lights up the dark place. X takes a deep breath as he takes out his Pokeball and takes out Summer, which Zero raises his eyebrow.

"Just in case something attacks us." X told him.

"You sure?" Zero asked, "You hate Pokemon battles."

"Zero, you know me by now." X told him.

"I know. I'm just checking on you." Zero replied.

While Zero and X were talking, Axl heads to the right route as he bumps into some large rocks, much to his annoyance. The red head groans and thinks, "Ugh... I wish I could use my copy chip... too bad I'm human... which really sucks!" The youngest boy turns to his friends, and yells, "Guys! We have a problem!"

"Be quiet, you idiot!" Zero told him off quietly, "We have no idea what's in here!"

"Geez, no need to be an ass about it!" Axl replied.

"Ugh... I'll do it!" Zero blurted out.

"Ahem... but we're humans though..." X reminded him.

"I have an idea." Axl said, "How about we go together to pick up the rocks!?"

"... That isn't going to work, Axl." X told him logically.

"We never know unless we try!" Axl argued back as he tries to push the rock, but couldn't, "Help!"

Zero and X look at each other, and sighs as they just help Axl out move the rocks. However, as they try to push the rock... the rock suddenly grows out arms.

"AAHHHH!" Axl screamed.

"Oi! That's my sleep, you bastards!" The rock pokemon yelled at them.

Before X could take out his Pokédex, they start hearing some weird, bat noises. Which Zero bluntly asks, "What the hell is that?"

Wildfire turns around and screams, "ZUBATS!"

The trio turns around and sees a bunch of bats rushing at them, which Axl screams like a girl, X also screams and Zero is just has a expression of 'Why the fuck is this happening...?' Than... a random Zubat flies straight to Axl's face as it flaps it's wings.

"AAAHHHH! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!" Axl screamed in horror.

The trio rushes out as they run out of the cave as X ducks down and trips over as he is about to fall to the ground, but Zero grabs him by the wrist as the Zubats flying around their faces.

Luckily for them, they managed to jump out of the cave, which stops the zubats except for one from chasing after them.

"... Thank goodness..." X mumbled.

"Ahem... X..." Zero poked at X as he points to Axl, who is running around, screaming while the Zubat is still attached to his face.

"SOMEBODY HELP ME!" Axl screamed as his Chimchar start scratching the Zubat.

X rushes to help as he grabs the Zubat away from Axl's face... which Chimchar accidentally scratches his face.

"Ow!" Axl yelped.

"Sorry!" Wildfire apologised.

"Whatever!" Axl shrugged off as he throws his Pokeball at the Zubat and, after three beeps, captures it, "YES! Finally!"

"I'm surprised you caught it that stupid bat..." Zero said.

"Hey! It clearly loves me!" Axl said as he opens his Pokeball, which shows the Zubat, "And I shall name it... wait... is it a boy or a girl?"

Axl is about to take out his Pokédex... which zubat suddenly flies to his face again.

"OH COME ON!" Axl yelled as X grabs the Zubat... again. "Okay... once more time..."

Axl takes out his Pokédex once again, and it says, 'Zubat. The Bat Pokemon. It checks its surroundings and location using reflections of the ultrasonic waves from its mouth.'

"Wow! That's pretty cool!" Axl said, "And it's a girl! In that case... your name shall be Batsy!"

"Really? Batsy...?" Zero groaned as he facepalms.

"Come on! I think it's neat!" Axl said as he takes Batsy out of X's hands and it suddenly jumps to his face... again. "Welp... looks like I have to get used to this..."

"... What a strange Zubat..." X commented with an unsure expression.

"Agreed," Zero agreed with him as he crosses his arms and sighs, "Let's get going... okay?"

"Y-Yeah!" X agreed.

"Yep!" Axl said in a muffled voice and says, "Wildfire... Batsy return."

Axl returns both Chimchar and Zubat back to their Pokeballs, and the trio continues on their journey like normal.
