Hiatus
Really wished it wouldn't come to this but unfortunately, I need to announce the hiatus of this story. The past few months - Year even - have been quite draining for me and there's no inspiration nor motivation for me to continue this story currently, and with the OG kissanime gone I can't easily rewatch episodes of GATE to recall scenes. I know that pirating and watching anime for free is awful, and it doesn't give support to those who worked hard in drawing, animating, and voicing these episodes but as you probably know I'm rather broke and can't afford a subscription for Crunchyroll or Funimation. So that's also another reason for the hiatus.
Next is my appeal for the SCP Universe has gone down at the same time the mainstream hype is ending, therefore I barely put anytime in reading articles, tales, etc etc. I heard SCP-096 is "Dead" in "Canon" and was killed by Dr. Bright but honestly, I don't want to know. Coupled with IRL things and the rapid expansion and improvements of the SCP Universe with new Canons, Series 5000, and even some new GoIs, I can't reasonably keep up.
Finally, I'm not sure whether I would continue the story. It was a fun adventure and certainly a massive practice for my writing skills and English vocabulary, but GATE - Although the premise of a modern army transported into a fantasy world is awesome - has massive flaws in its plot and that's another reason. Until then I'm gonna keep up this hiatus status until I decide otherwise.
