Chapter 12: Calm at the Beach

It was weeks after Orochi and the Swordsmen had joined the Black Lotus, and now everyone was trying to get ready for a little excursion that Oboro had planned: go to Ember Island to meet with Team Avatar and Iroh to show them that they were not who they thought they were. That it was all just misinformation and tall tales.

Though in Oboro's personal meditation area, he was currently taking care of a sapling that he grew from an acorn from the Tree of Time. He found this activity very therapeutic and it helped him calm himself for easier meditation.

After he finished pruning the little tree and watering it, he sat down in a Lotus position and closed his eyes while concentrating, which caused his tattoos to glow red as he entered the spirit link he had with Vaatu.

-Inside the spirit link-

"What is it you wish to speak about?" The black spirit of Chaos asked.

"I'd like to speak with you about the way the world is." The boy replied.

"How so?" Vaatu prompted.

"How should I go about changing it? Is there something I can change to cause the outcome I want? Variables I Need to consider? I want to know everything I can." Oboro explained.

Vaatu sighed as his tentacles body drooped. Of course he would ask such an obvious question to someone as Ancient as him. It was the nature of humans to try and understand things but yet when they try, they were still blind to the most basic of truths. Though this was unavoidable, he supposed.

"I have one piece of wisdom to bestow upon you, Dark Avatar." He told his host. "Wake up to reality. Nothing ever goes as planned in the accursed plane you call the world. The longer you live, the more you will realize that the only things that exist in this reality are merely pain, suffering and futility. Listen… Everywhere you look in this world, wherever there is light there are shadows to be found as well. As long as there is a concept of victors, the vanquished must also exist. The selfish intent to preserve peace, initiates wars, and hatred is born in order to protect love. There are nexuses, causal relationships that cannot be separated."

Ororo took in his words silently. He thought them over and saw truth in them. Though he also noticed that they also clashed with the lessons that Iroh had told him. This… Conflicted with him a bit. How did he respond to this sudden dilema?

"Thank you for this bit of wisdom, Vaatu. Though I'd like to converse with my father about this as well." He told the spirit.

"The Dragon of the West? An interesting choice, but understandable. Hopefully this will help you decide what you wish to make as your mission." The spirit nodded.

"I hope so as well." The boy nodded before he cut the link. As he returned to reality, he saw that Xiezao had left him the tea he requested for after he was done.

"Well, one thing's for sure: tea is amazing at calming the nerves." He mused as he took a sip, finding the temperature of the liquid pleasing.

As he drank the tea, he looked at the tea set that it was served in. It was a simple teapot and cup that were designed to fit inside each other for easy storage. It was a gift from Iroh for his birthday.

'It's Lu Ten's birthday today… Maybe I should go visit pops, I'd hate for him to be alone right now.' The boy thought as he got up after finishing his tea. It was time he visited the Jasmine Dragon again.

(Elsewhere)

"We got a letter?" Zuko asked Mai as the woman read the letter that Oboro and Azula sent her to him and then the rest of the gang.

"Yeah. Oboro and Azula want us to come to Ember Island so we can meet the members of his little rehab group." Mai nodded.

"Why do I get the feeling that this is going to be like our beach vacation all over again?" The Fire Lord groaned.

"What's so wrong about that?" Sokka asked.

"Yeah, we had fun that time." Tai Lee added.

"I just get the feeling we're going to get a lot of headaches." Zuko sighed.

(Elsewhere)

It was a few hours later and Oboro discreetly entered Ba Sing Sei by using the underground tunnels he and the rest of the Black Lotus had dug to the other nations that met up under the library.

Taking off his cloak he started making his way to the Jasmine Dragon, and when he did, he saw Iroh already leaving it with a basket on his arm. The Dark Avatar followed the man discreetly until he reached a tree that Iroh stopped at outside of the main city, where the man set up a small shrine with a picture of Lu Ten as the centerpiece.

"Mind if I join you?" Oboro asked iroh as he walked up to the man and knelt beside him. The elderly firebender looked at him and nodded.

"By all means." He replied. The two bowed their heads to briefly honor the fallen boy as the former General lit some incense. And the user of Amaterasu then started to hum a very familiar tune which Iroh recognized and started to sing along to.

"Leaves from the vine, falling so slow." The man began.

"Like fragile, tiny shells, drifting in the fold." Oboro continued.

"Little soldier boy, comes marching home." Iroh followed.

"Brave, soldier boy comes marching home." Oboro continued. The two hummed for a few seconds before they then sang the last verse together.

"Leaves from the vine, falling so slow. Like tiny, fragile shells, drifting in the fold. Little soldier boy, where has he gone? Brave soldier boy, where have you gone?" The two finished as the wind blew a cherry blossom around them before it slowly and gently landed right in front of Lu Ten's picture.

"... Thank you for coming." Iroh said softly as he placed a hand on the boy's shoulder. "I'm glad that I was able to get to teach you, my son."

"Me too, pops." The black flame user smiled as the two hugged each other.

(Later)

It was around a week later and the Lotus had arrived at Ember Island in time to wait for the rest of Team Avatar and others to arrive as well.

"I sure do hope they don't manage to put two and two together about us..." Ningyo muttered.

"You're not alone." Shayu muttered in agreement.

"If they start to, stick to the plan and convince them that it's all tall tales and ruses." Azula told them sternly. Oboro meanwhile gave them a good natured smile.

"No pressure." He chuckled lightly.

"Heh, right…" Zabu chuckled lightly as his ward, a young ten year old named Haiku, took off the mask he was wearing.

Haiku was to say the very least, a very beautiful young boy, he had very feminine features and an overall body shape that would have even the most experienced of people mistake him for a young girl. The fact that he had long beautiful ebony hair and liked to wear green nail polish didn't really help matters though.

"I'm sure we'll find some way to put them at ease." The child assassin interjected.

"It shouldn't be that hard." Xiezuo nodded.

It was around this time that the group saw Appa and Zuko's dragon flying in their direction, both of them carrying Team Avatar and Zuko Mai and Tai Lee respectively.

"There they are." Hidan noted as the two animals approached.

The two groups leapt down from their mounts and the two factions approached each other, though in Baan's case he was rolled by Xiezuo since he wasn't quite ready to walk great distances just yet.

"Hello Zuzu." Azula greeted her brother in a snide cheeky manner. This got snickers from the rest of her group, though Hidan just let out a bark of laughter.

"She Devil." The scar faced boy retorted.

"I never knew you thought so highly of me." The girl smirked.

"It wasn't a compliment." He fired back.

"I know." She grinned.

"Moving on. I assume that this is your rehab group?" Mai questioned as she looked over the people in it.

"Yeah, in chronological order they are: Azula, Shāyú, Xiězuò, Ningyō, Bakudan, Hidan, Xiàn, Netsu, Orochi, Baan and finally the Seven legendary swordsmen." Oboro explained.

"I recognize a few of these guys by name…" Katara commented with a slightly wary look.

"Whatever you heard is a story. Nothing worth getting worked up over." Ameyuri waved off.

"Like you guys attacking Masters Paku and Piandao on Kioshi island?" Suki questioned.

"Like we said: Tall. Tales." Zabu deflected.

"Kinda hard to assume that when we heard it straight from them." Sokka pointed out before looking over at Toph. "Hey toph, can you tell if these guys-?"

"Nope, sand's too loose here." The blind bandit stated, shaking her head.

"Oh." The boomerang user sighed. "Probably should've expected that." He muttered.

"Let's not get into an argument guys." Oboro said as he got between them and tried to defuse the situation while letting out a nervous chuckle. "After all, we came here to relax right? Let's just try and have some fun and not try to be at each other's throats. Can you do that?"

"... Fine." Katara conceded. The others decided to concede as well but mentally resolved to get to the bottom of this as the day went on.

Though Tai Lee, who had been uncharacteristically quiet the whole time seemed very scared as she stood there, staring and shaking at the sight of Orochi. This was something both Azula and Mai noticed.

'Does she know something we don't?' They thought in unison. Orochi simply put on the coy, creepy smile he usually used when he tried to hide what he was really thinking.

'This'll be fun.' He chuckled mentally.

(Later)

The two groups were now all in beach worthy clothes and were now walking around the sandy area trying to think of things to do.

It was at this point that Shayu decided to dive into the water and start terrorizing the locals by scaring them by swimming with his dorsal fin above the water.

"SHARK!" Aang cried fear as he scrambled for the shore, this caused many of the other residents to do so as well… Until Shayu revealed himself and started laughing, with a large tuna in his mouth.

"Be afraid, be very afraid!" He howled as he chomped down on the tuna, but coughed as some of it went down the wrong hole. "Oh my goodness, I need to sit." He coughed hoarsely.

"Not cool, man!" Sokka complained.

"I dunno. I thought it was funny." Hidan commented with a grin. This caused many people to look at him like he had a screw loose.

Elsewhere, Baan was on the sidelines of a Volleyball court where five of the Sevens were lined up against Mai, Tai Lee, Zuko, Azula and Suki.

"I hope you're ready to lose!" One of the Seven taunted.

"What are those things anyway, they're super creepy!" Tai Lee whispered.

"They're The Seven Gates of Pain, corpses Baan can control with those receivers all over his body." Azula explained. "They're practically a well oiled machine."

"That's morbidly interesting…" Zuko muttered.

"This is going to be a pain." Suki sighed as she served the ball over the net, only for the Seven who looked like he was a boy with an upward facing ponytail to block it and send it back.

Zuko was next he kicked the ball up in the air and sent it where Mai could kick it downwards towards the Seven who looked like a skinnier Bakudan who wasn't really paying attention… but it was expertly blocked by him and sent back towards them, scoring a point.

"... Wow." Was all Suki could say to that.

"How did he even do that?" Mai questioned.

"Oh, did I forget to mention that they can see through each other's eyes?" Azula asked.

"You did." The Kyoshi warrior deadpanned. This exchange of batting the ball around continued for several minutes until the main Seven, the one whose body was actually the corpse of Baan and Xiezao's dead friend Yahiko, ended it.

"Almighty Push." He intoned as the ball flew towards him. The result was the ball crashing into the opposing team's side like a meteor… and the resulting shockwave causing the group to be sent flying as the court was uprooted.

"Ohhhh…" The five kids groaned as they were literally twitching in piles of sand after getting blown into next week.

"... Whoops." Baan said with a sheepish expression.

(Later)

Sokka was in the middle of sharpening his boomerang in the shade of an umbrella, when he saw that Haiku was holding a black sword. A very, very familiar looking black sword.

'That's…!' He thought in shock before he walked up to the child assassin. "I can't believe it! That's my Space Sword! I've been looking everywhere for it!" He exclaimed. This made Haiku look at the sword, then at Sokka.

"This rinky dink thing is yours? Huh, no wonder the craftsmanship is shotty." The boy said, handing the sword to the water tribe warrior.

"What the-?! Shotty?! I put a lot of work into this after breaking down the meteor it's made from!" The boomerang user retorted indignantly.

"A meteorite? Well that explains a lot. Did you make sure to work out the impurities when you forged it?" Haiku asked. That caused the dark skinned boy to pause.

"... No I didn't." He facepalmed.

"I could tell by looking at the patterning in the center of the bevels. The forge work and polishing is spot on but it's still got tiny impurities here and there. Though it looks like you grounded most of them out." Haiku said as he examined the sword again. "Still probably won't stand a chance against Zabu's sword or Shayu's sword, Samehada." He added.

Sokka was livid at that. "Why you-I'll show you! I'll take 'em all on if I have to! I know I'm great with the sword and there's nothing you can do to… change… my… mind…" He started to say before he trailed off and turned around as he saw Zabu and Shayu standing behind him, cracking their knuckles.

"That's a nice theory you have there." Zabu said.

"Wanna put your money where your mouth is and test it?" Shayu added. Sokka stood stock still before glaring at them.

"When and where?" He asked. The two swordsmen looked at each other before walking out into the center of the beach and drawing a large circle with the handles of their swords and then stood there, giving Sokka a good look at how large their swords were. Though nothing could have prepared him for what Samehada looked like after Shayu unwrapped it.

The sword (if you could call it that) was gargantuan in size, about the size. Practically the size of a great white shark with a handle, and was comprised of jagged spikes that were made of extremely hard sharkskin with two that looked like hooks at the very edges of the rounded tip of the blade which gave it a shark-like shape. Though what really stuck out about it was the giant mouth of rows upon rows of shark teeth that was on the very tip of the sword, and it was chomping at him.

"What in the world?!" The boy shouted in shock.

"Hahaha! This is Shark Skin, it's a living sword said to be able to devour the Chi of those it touches with its teeth and tear their bodies to ribbons with its edges." Shayu laughed. "And it just so happens to be very fond of chicken."

"...Did you just call me a chicken?" Sokka questioned, a tick mark above his forehead.

"Yep." The shark man replied with a cheeky grin.

"That does it! YAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" The boy yelled as he charged at the two while Aang and the others facepalmed at Sokka's impulsiveness.

"He's gonna be eating sand soon, isn't he?" Bakudan asked flatly.

"Probably." Aang sighed. Sokka swung his sword and Zabu blocked the attack with the flat of his blade before kicking him towards Shayu, who swung Samehada right at Sokka's stomach and then pulled back, hard.

RIIIP!

"My shirt!" The boy cried. Then he noticed that his undershirt was starting to turn red. "... Uh oh." He said.

"If you know what's good for ya, you'll stop now." The swordsman stated. Sokka looked down at his bleeding stomach and soon felt water go to it as katara ran up to him and started healing him.

"That was a bad move Shayu, you could have killed him." Oboro pointed out, causing the shark boy to scoff.

"Please, if I were actually going to kill him, Oboro…" He said as he turned to face his leader and comrade. "He'd be dead already."

(Later)

"Wait. You want to do what?" Zuko asked Oboro as the boy stood off against him.

"I want to face you guys in a set of one on one elemental matches. Then I want to face Aang to see how I've grown as an Avatar, and then I want to fight Suki to see how good I've gotten with hand to hand combat." The Dark Avatar explained.

"Okay… Who do you want to go up against first?" Katara asked.

"You first, then Toph, then Aang, then Zuko. I wanna save him for last because there's something really big I'm saving for that." He told her.

"Alright. Just don't be surprised if you get water logged." Katara said in a confident tone. Oboro smirked as he then started the match off with a lightning fast water whip that he cracked right at her face, sending her tumbling to the ground.

"Sorry, what was that?" The boy asked mockingly.

"Shut up." The waterbender retorted as she got up with an annoyed look. Oboro grinned as he then surrounded his body in a water armor and charged at the girl and started attacking her, but every time she tried to retaliate, he made the armor change shape to create spikes of ice to make her jump back before changing back again.

Where'd you learn that?" She asked.

"I came up with it myself." He told her before using nearby sea water and did the same movements Zabu and Shayu showed him. "Special Technique: Water clones." He spoke as identical doubles made of water appeared.

"What the-!" Katara exclaimed in shock at the sight.

"I think he's gotten pretty good at waterbending." Aang mused. Oboro and his clones then charged at katara and started attacking her, but before they could drop in her, she used the water in her water tube to slice apart four of the Oboros… only for them to be water clones.

"Behind you." The Dark Avatar said and before she could react, Katara could feel the all too familiar feeling of someone blood bending her body and making her fall to her knees. He was blood bending without a full moon!

"H-how?!" She managed to get out.

"Practice. Lots and lots of practice." He told her as he let her up. Next was Toph, and Oboro knew exactly what to do with her.

"That was pretty good, sparky, but are you ready to lose to the greatest Earthbender of all time?" Toph questioned, cracking her knuckles.

"I'll be taking that title after this." Ororo retorted as he cracked his neck. The two squared off and Oboro decided to let Toph make the first move, and she did by making a sand mound that launched them to the top of the cliff above, and then she sent a rock flying at his face.

"Whoa!" The boy yelped as he dodged the projectile. He then retaliated with three rocks, which were easily dealt with by the blind bandit.

That's when Oboro decided to try something different by pulling the ground out from underneath Toph and whipping it like a rug which sent the girl up in the air and left her open to get a stone pillar to the face as she dropped back down.

"Gack!" She yelped as she landed. Oboro then launched himself into the air with a pillar and then formed a giant hammer of stone before he swung it down on top of toph… and she caught it as the impact caused the cliffside to crumble and the two to fall the sand again.

Toph panted as she got into her stance again. "Is that all you've got?!" She questioned as Oboro took a wide stance and started digging his feet into the ground.

"Hardly." He taunted. 'Wait for her to get in close, and then strike. Be immovable like a mountain, be ten toes down.' He reminded himself.

Toph used the sand to shoot forward, intent on ending the fight now. Right when she was close to him, the Dark Avatar struck. He thrust his hands forward, grabbed her by the waist and absorbed the impact of her charge, but didn't budge, and then bent backwards… BOOM! And suplexes her head first into the sand.

"... WHAT?!" Aang shouted with wide eyes, his mind blown. Oboro sighed as he dusted himself off and left toph half buried in the sand like an ostrich.

"Alright, who's next?" He asked.

"Uh… I am." The air nomad replied dumbly. "And I think that in the spirit of you showing your mastery in airbending, we should do an Air Nomad favorite: An Air Scooter race." He suggested. Oboro mulled it over before nodding.

"Alright. That should be a good change of pace." He agreed. This then lead to everyone waiting for the race to start as both conjured their scooters… and Oboro's was twice the size of Aang's.

"On your marks!" Ty Lee said. "Get set! Go!" She yelled as the two blasted off in a split second, creating a small sonic boom.

"... How will we know who wins if they're going that fast?" Ameyuri asked as she scratched her head.

"Whoever crashes at the other side of the finish line first wins." Azula stated. "I'm fairly certain that crashing is inevitable."

Back with the two Avatars, they were pretty much neck and neck as they turned around and blasted back towards the others. Though Oboro started to up the ante by going into the Dark Avatar state. Aang saw this and decided to even the odds by entering the Avatar state.

This caused them to get inside giant air spheres and blast towards the finish line faster. "Look out!" Sokka yelled as they all started jumping out of the way. Right at that moment the two air spheres suddenly intersected and the two Avatars crashed into each other and started tumbling cartoonishly across the finish line until both collided with a rock, Aang hitting his face and Oboro… his family jewelry.

"Oof!" The men in the group cringed in sympathy as the Dark Avatar writhed in agony.

"Told you." Azula stated. "That was a tie, by the way." She added. After a few minutes, Oboro got back up and was ready to face Zuko in the final challenge: An Agni Kai.

"Alright Zuko, Here's the deal. In this Agni Kai, I want you to go all out. Fight like your gonna actually kill me, got it?" The boy told his cousin.

"Are you sure you can handle that?" The scarred teen asked.

"I am." The boy nodded. "I've got something up my sleeve for it." He added. Zuko nodded as the two got into stances and took deep breaths before attacking. Which Zuko started off by sending a massive fireball at Oboro, which looked like it was about to fry him… only for it to be eaten away at and slowly overtaken by the black fire of Amaterasu.

"Hm. Not bad." Zuko hummed. Oboro then followed this up by conjuring two fire whips which he started whipping at Zuko with. The fire lord dodged them and sent fire blasts at his opponent to try and get him to stop and create an opening.

He finally noticed an opening when he noticed Oboro's legs were shaking, probably from the injury he just sustained, so the prince exploited this by sending low kicks of fire at Oboro's greet to make him back up and stumble before sweeping him up with a swipe of fire to lose his footing and then Zuko launched himself into the air to deliver a rocket propelled drop kick and was about to finish his cousin off when…

Both Oboro's eyes were set ablaze and black fire surrounded him and started to take shape, and when everything cleared, Zuko found that his kick had been blocked by a giant skeletal hand made of black fire and surrounded by red Chi. And surrounding Oboro was a giant fire/chi rib cage and spine of the same colors. The Dark Avatar was breathing heavily at this point.

"That… Was close…" Oboro sighed in relief. "If I didn't have this up, I'd probably be dead now."

"What is this?" Zuko had to wonder in amazement as he jumped back.

"This. Is a glimpse of the culmination of my fire bending training, and my ultimate trump card: The Susanoo." He replied as he made the giant arm and hand flex it's bony fingers.

"... I've seen enough." Zuko decided. Oboro sighed as he dispelled the incomplete giant avatar and then fell to the ground in exhaustion.

"That was exhausting." He sighed as he fell on his back and Azula went up to help him, which drew Zuko's attention to the necklace his sister was wearing.

'Is that…? No way.' The Fire Lord thought as he continued to look at the jewel around his sister's neck in disbelief.

"You okay?" The blue flame user asked, oblivious to her brother staring at her necklace.

"I'll be fine. Besides, he only hurt my pride…" Oboro replied before noticing a searing burn on his right side which was surrounded by a nasty bruise. "And apparently my internal organs…" He added.

"I'm on it." Katara sighed as she came over and started treating the wound.

"Thanks… ooh." He sighed.

Zuko, meanwhile, took Mai to the side and pointed at Azula's necklace, causing the girl's eyes to widen.

"No. Way…" She gasped in a rare moment of pure emotional shock.

"Exactly! Who actually managed to propose to her and not get burnt to a crisp?!" The fire lord wondered in a baffled tone. This caused Mai to facepalm.

"Zuko, honey. That's not just any necklace." She told him before whispering. "That's the one Oboro bought."

Zuko's mind nearly fell apart when he heard that. He automatically went to a nearby rock and sat down on it.

"I knew there were going to be headaches…" He groaned, his head in his right hand. Mai just patted his back sympathetically.

(Later)

It was nighttime and everyone was now sitting around a fire that Oboro lit himself, the black flames danced ominously as it partially illuminated everyone eerily in a dark light.

"So I've heard that at Ember Island, talking about one's troubles can help them develop as people." Oboro noted. "Would anyone like to share?" He asked.

"Me and Zuzu have already done this before, so we'll pass." Azula commented.

"Agreed." Zuko nodded.

"Alright. I'll go first then." The Dark Avatar said. "... First I should confess: I killed the Knowledge Spirit, Wong Shi Tong." He told them.

"EH?!" Team Avatar and the ones who didn't know (sans Orochi) squawked iba surprise.

"I killed him in order to claim his power and his library for my own. We've been using the library as our base ever since then." He added.

"But that's-!" Aang said, he was particularly appalled by this, being the Avatar and all.

"I know." The boy sighed. "But I did what I had to. Anyway, recently I also talked to Vaatu and he gave me a few words of wisdom." He said as he told them what Vaatu had said. After he finished, all of them looked down in thought.

"That's… shockingly profound. Immensely so." Baan admitted.

"If a bit heavy and cynical." Suki nodded.

"I don't think I've ever heard anything like that from uncle before. I wonder why he's never mentioned this viewpoint." Zuko wondered.

"The monks never told me anything like that either." Aang nodded.

"Definitely something to keep a person up at night." Sokka mused.

Oboro nodded at that. "Now, normally, in exchange for you getting injured another or others were saved. Isn't that so?" He asked. This got nods from pretty much all of Team Avatar. "Well, I want to sever the fate of this world. I want to create a new world in this world's place. A world of only victors, a world of only peace, and a world of only love. As the Dark Avatar, I will create such a world, by any means necessary." He told them while crushing a rock into sand with his bare hand.

"But are you going to be able to see it through?" Aang questioned.

"If need be, I'll make it so." He nodded.

There was a silence in the group before someone spoke up again. "Azula, how do you feel about our father?" Zuko asked his sister. This got everyone's attention.

They were curious because from what they heard, Ozai essentially drove the poor girl mad and when they were supposed to be taking the victory together, he gave her a token participation reward and pulled it out from under her to take the power for himself. That was the final push to send her over the deep end after her emotions caught up with her.

"The honest answer? … He's a piece of garbage that never truly did anything for me and was more interested in his own personal interests." She admitted with an agitated look.

Oboro nodded, He knew that she'd say this because he had pointed it out to her several times every time he showed her how he genuinely loved her. And pointed out just how different the relationships between him, Zuko and Iroh were in comparison to her and Ozai. And with all this, Azula understood that in the end she got the short end of the stick.

This exchange went on for about an hour, everyone talking about how they got there, what made them do what they did, it all eventually came out, and… it felt strangely cathartic to them honestly.

"Ya know… I think we needed this." Haiku mused. This got a chorus of agreement from everyone who shared the same view.

After this hour of talking, everyone went to go settle in for the night, except for Zuko and Mai, who were currently following Azula and Oboro to the family's house on the island. And as soon as the two thought they were alone, the dark avatar slammed the blue dragon to the wall of the house and smothered her mouth with his own in a very passionate lip lock.

"I had to wait all day for this." The boy breathed as they separated for air.

"I know. It was torture for me, too." Azula told him as she stroked his cheek. "I missed our alone time together, you've been so busy with training I hardly get to be with you anymore." She added with a pout.

"Let me fix that." The boy grinned as he kissed her again. Back with the two spies, Mai was currently staring at the two in shock and disbelief while she covered Zuko's eyes.

'What the actual fuck?!' She thought with wide eyes. As Oboro started kissing Azula's neck and sucking on it, he continued to moan 'I love you' over and over and Azula kept gasping his name in return as wrapped her legs around his waist. Then Oboro started removing Azula's clothes which Mai took as her signal to take Zuko and leave.

As soon as the two were away from what they just witnessed, they were both stupefied. "Did we just see what I thought we saw?" Zuko asked.

"I think we did…" Was all Mai could say.

Back with the passionate lovers, Oboro now had a naked Azula kneeling in front of him and he was caressing her body with black tendrils that Vaatu taught him to use. Azula moaned as she rubbed the side of her face against his cock, the scent of her man intoxicating her.

"You know what to do, Azula, suck it." He told her. The blue flame user did as told and started sucking him off, eliciting groans of pleasure from him while his tendrils started gripping her neck. "Azula, darling, be honest with me. I want to know. Would you like to have my baby?" He asked his gagging girlfriend as she deep- throated him. She looked up at him before she nodded, her eyes alight with desire.

"I'm glad, now, here's your favorite meal!" He groaned as he came inside her mouth, making her swallow his load.

"Ah, so good." The girl sighed in delight as she pulled back and licked her lips. She was on all fours now, Oboro's favorite position, he loved pounding her like a dog.

Without even hesitating, he shoved the entirety of his hard length into her, causing her to let out a moan of pleasure. He then started pounding away at her as he leaned on her back so he could squeeze her wildly swinging breasts.

"I never get tired of pounding you like this…!" The Dark Avatar moaned as he groped his lover's mounds.

"Oboro please! More! Give me more! Show your bitch that you love her!" The girl begged him as he fucked her.

"Oh I will!" He growled as he sucked in her neck and left a hickey behind.

"Yes!-Fuck-Pleas use me!-Fuck-use me as much as you want!-Fuck-I'm here to serve you, the best way I know how!" The girl screamed between slams.

"I plan to-oh fuck- do all of that!" The boy grunted. After fifteen minutes of rutting like rabbits, Oboro felt his release greeting close. "It's almost time…!" He groaned.

"Do it inside me, Obie! Give me what I've been missing!" The princess screamed as he slammed himself deep inside her, causing her to be filled to the brim. The girl's legs gave out seconds later, and the Dark Avatar then carried her towards the bedroom where they got underneath the covers and held each other close.

"Good night, my lovely Azula." Oboro whispered as he kissed her forehead. Azula just snuggled into him, craving his warmth.

This was the calm, the final calm, before the coming storm…

Dragon Emperor0: And with that we are officially ready for the Book 1: Fire finale to begin.

ThermalsniperN7: This is gonna be fun. Wonder what'll happen…

Dragon Emperor0: Probably something big. And I was not expecting Oboro to be hiding a trump card like that in his sleeve.

ThermalsniperN7: Same. It kinda makes me wonder what the complete version will look like. Also, anyone recognize where Vaatu's piece of wisdom came from?
