There was the first one multiple side stories to come. The first should always make an impact, so I hope this one did a good job.
Anyways. Like the title gives away, this was a story about many different people wandering and trying to find a place for themselves. Trion soldiers included. Even if it was filler, the Fugitive Arc had me interested in the thought of human-like trion soldiers. And that, if programmed a certain way, can be like a normal human. That had led to the second theme of Wandering - Human. Here is a lot that makes up a human, but three major components have to be knowledge, emotions and willpower. With that in mind, Shikifuku had been created to represent all of those. With Black Triggers being made because of the loss of a life, it felt only right that this one represent those lives lost in the creation of them.
With this Wandering being a remake, it gave me a chance to get a better feel on who I wanted to use and how to use them. The main idea was always to have Shobu and RB07 play their parts here, but not as fighters, more so as connections and proof that the three essential parts of being human can be hard for an actual human while trion soldiers can have the compact for them too. Having others around to help with that is also important as they can be influences to growth. In this case, the three children were direct influences that made RB07 change even more after getting hacked. Meanwhile, things around Shobu were what were influenced because of him. In the end, things may have changed in the story to make that hard to notice though.
