Class is in session with Professor Sayo, let's see how she does.

"Okay, I'm going, to be honest…this is quite a lot for me to write," Sayo said as she looked at the stack. Did he even summarize it or did he just claim that? There were times when Sayo looked at her school work and picked at every little detail before she learned to properly summarize what was needed. "So what I'll do, I'll scan it and send it to you all via email," She told 1B, as she took out her phone. "Um, which of you have steady hands?" She asked the students. Unsurprisingly it was Kendo who raised her hands.

The class representative walked up and Sayo handed her the phone before positioning. Once the camera was positioned Sayo hit a key and then started flipping through pages, scanning each of them in quick succession while her Digimon cleaned the image files and organized them for the students. It didn't take more than 10 minutes before Sayo was finished. She thanked Kendo and then sent the mail to the students. The cyber sleuth was not a teacher nor would she pretend to be one, her job was to give them the notes to reader for All Might and she did just that.

"Well seeing as that's all for now…I think you can all silently study the material for the next hour…or do something quietly," She told them. "I'm going to take a nap, don't leave the class unless it's to go washroom, and don't make noise to disrupt the other classes," She warned them. That was what a teacher would tell them, right? Well, maybe she'd skip the nap and just close her eyes and rest instead. Just as predicted the class was quiet for a few seconds before the students started murmuring and whispering to each other.

"So what's this genius plan I've been hearing about for the sports festival," A student with pitch-black skin and snowy white hair whispered to his desk mate. There had been rumors circulating within the class about some plans to help Class 1B top the sports festival and Shihai Kuroiro wanted in.

"There is no plan, it's just a stupid idea Monoma came up with," Kendo said dismissingly as she went through the notes. She was impressed she didn't think they would come out so clean from her point of view when the camera was rolling.

"I already told you it's not stupid," Neito countered. "It's a sure-fire way for us to outshine Class 1A in the sports festival," He defended. They had been the center of attention recently and Monoma knew from experience once people had a taste of fame it would soon start to go to their head. Loud one All Might saved before was proof enough.

"Yeah, Kendo those 1A posers, need to get off their high horse," another student, Kosei Tsuburaba agreed. Seriously who did those guys think they were? Making claims that they were like pro heroes because they were involved in an ambush.

"Even if they are as you described, we should not be the ones to judge and execute others," A girl with vine-like hair scolded. Her classmates were letting their jealousy get the better of them. If they wanted to prove themselves better than 1A then they should not stoop their level and compete.

"I don't see the big deal," Kosei cut her off. "We're not doing anything wrong, the rules don't say anything against teamwork," He pointed.

"Still isn't it kind of an underhand tactic," Yui interjected.

"And what exactly is an underhand tactic?" Sayo asked suddenly gaining everyone's attention. "Hehe…word of advice…never discuss plans while within earshot of anyone…you can never be sure they are actually sleeping or simply faking," She explained. "I heard everything,"

"Hehe…we can explain," Kendo interjected. If Sayo reported them who knows what could happen to their class. They didn't need that kind of reputation surrounding them.

"Oh save it, I'm not going to report you or any of that crap," Sayo told them.

"You aren't?" They all said in unison.

"Nah," Sayo told them. "You all finally said something interesting. I was worried I'd be bored to death but now my curiosity is peaked," She told them. "So class is back in session," Sayo announced. "What are you all planning to do?" She asked.

The students all glanced at each other nervously; however, the first student to speak out was none other than Ibara. "Well if you must know, our classmates were planning to work together in teams to ensure that we all passed to the final round while eliminating all of 1A. Simply put they wish to simply make it in the top 42, before working together to eliminate 1A in the team event," She explained truthfully.

"Really…that's all," Sayo said in surprise. "From what you all said I was expecting something more devious," She told them. "That's not underhanded at all," Sayo sighed.

"See," Kosei pointed out. "Told ya," He gloated to Kendo.

"Forgive me but doesn't that defeat the purpose of the festival," Kendo interjected.

"My views on the festival are pretty biased but to me, it's a little bit of a joke," Sayo explained. "You're all proving that you can be good heroes by fighting to be number 1, which honestly feels kind of stupid. Heroes aren't supposed to knock each other down to move forward; you're supposed to be working together to better society and each other. If you all are willing to put aside your differences so that everyone can make it to the top rather than just compete against each other…then I'd say that actually makes you all more heroic," Sayo commented.

"But the rules,"

"I've checked the rules, working as teams is allowed so long as you all are participating and you don't cheat by interfering with others in a direct way. If your power unintentionally makes things difficult for those around you then that's not really your fault. If Team A wants to help Team B beat Team C then it's allowed." Sayo clarified. "In case you forgot, U.A. also had hero points as a means of checking your progress, unwritten rules that granted bonuses for working together and helping those around," She told them. Hero points were one of U.A.'s few things she didn't question. It actually tested character even if the rest of the test was insane and disadvantageous to none combat-oriented quirks.

"And why should we trust you?" Kuroiro questioned. The girl merely flashed a smile at him.

"Simply put I've made a challenge with Present Mic," Sayo explained as she brought the clip with him and his friends. "I told him I planned to top his level of teamwork with my own for the festival," She informed the students. "So far I've gotten a few students from 1A, one from 1C, and one from support backing me," She told them.

"Wait 1A is planning to work together as well," Monoma blurted out in surprise.

"No, it's just a small group, maybe 3 or 4 students are working with me," She told them. "Everyone else is going at it solo as far I know," She explained. Izuku, Mineta, Ochaco, and Iida were here possible teammates from 1A. "That would make it 7 of us vs 1B vs the rest of the school…or at least 1A," Sayo summarized.

Power loader had mentioned how the Sports Festival was heavily tipped in the hero course's favor and from all the video she viewed it was true. For the past few years, the hero course had consistently made it to the top 40 eliminating all the other courses from participating further in the festival till they decided to increase the cutoff point to 42 to accommodate 2 students from other classes. It was a way of promoting the hero students but it came at the expense of other courses, not exactly a fair deal. If they had events where the other courses got to show up the heroes to balance it then maybe she would accept it but nope.

"So I take it you want to propose a deal to work together," The Kuroiro interjected. She had just told them her plan, the only reason someone would do that was if they were showing trust before making a deal. The art of war states 'There is no instance of a nation benefitting from prolonged warfare.' Simply put it was 7 members of her group vs the rest of her school. If a deal was made then that group while temporary would then be 27 members' vs the school, nearly 4 times as many people working together and 4 times as many people watching your back.

"In a sense," Sayo agreed. "You don't interfere with my team and we don't interfere with you," She told them.

"One would think you'd benefit by asking for our help," He countered.

"Perhaps I would," Sayo mused. "But I saw how petty you guys got with 1A," Sayo explained. "I have no intention of letting my friends get dragged into your squabble. The entire school is gunning for 1A because of a few students making some stupid comments and I don't intend to let my friends be a part of that,"

"I fail to see how you think we're petty," Monoma said dismissively. "1A is nothing more than a bunch of glory hogs who think there all that because of some villain attack," He complained.

"Monoma," Kendo called out, but a duster already beat her to it. Monoma didn't know what happened only his head was now hurting like crazy. When he recovered he noticed a scowling Sayo who was staring right at him before she put on a fake smile.

"Aw…is the little baby hurt because he got hit on the head. Hey look you're suddenly the center of attention in class because I singled you out for a duster attack," She admitted. "I guess the rest of you might feel he's a glory hog because he got attacked but not you, so maybe I should throw dusters at the rest of you so you're all special," She told them as she lifted another duster. Immediately some of the students braced themselves before she targeted them only for her to burst out laughing before she dropped the duster.

"That's my point," She explained. "Class 1A was attacked by villains, they could have been hurt or any of them could have died," She told them. "Any sensible person would not say things like you are all a bunch of stuck ups because you got attacked by villains," She yelled at them.

"Hey, they said they were like pros and that they were what future pros looked like," One Tetsutetsu countered.

"Yes because they are training to be pros like you all and saying they were scared and terrified is something that would make some of them look weak and feel ashamed," She explained. She then opened back up the video with Present Mic and his friends. "Are you aware that of the three people in this video…one of them was a student who died in a villain accident a few months later before he even completed U.A.?" Sayo asked as means of hammering the point further. "You all think Pros are some big and glamorous job but you are risking your lives and your health when you go pro," She told them. The bell suddenly rang to signal the dismissal of class. "Next time you face 1A think very careful what you say; if you want to taunt and trash-talk them then fine but don't tell them they were lucky for a villain's attack," Sayo told them as she left.

The class remained silent for a while before one student commented. It was Kendo. "I hope you all take what she said to heart," The class representative said. She along with a few others had been trying to knock the same idea into her classmates' heads but she hoped maybe a different perspective and maybe that harsh fact would do the trick. Kendo didn't exactly know what to make of the girl…but she'll admit she had some respect for her. Maybe teaming up with her classmates wouldn't be such a bad idea.

Yeah, I'll be honest that part always rubbed me the wrong way so that might have bled into my writing of this. 1A was attacked and the so-called heroes of the next generation 1B and the other students in U.A. decided to antagonize them like that was really insensitive. Sure I can understand why that might be but I still don't like it. You don't go and just do that otherwise U.A. really needs to work on their ethics system if they actually have it.

This chapter was short but this segment with Sayo and 1B was long enough, I felt adding anything else would just take away from it so the next chapter will wrap up the stuff with Marcus and the others before we fast forward to the Sports Festival. I've got still a week gap and while it would be nice...I've wasted enough time so I'll think I'll time skip it with a training montage. Maybe a chapter to show the training as well as some last-minute preparations with the characters and then we move on to the big stuff.

The question of the chapter is based on 1B. Tell me honestly what are some things you would have liked to see with them?

I'll be honest the fact that we have to waited nearly 4-5 seasons to get more info on them is one of my peeves with MHA. They introduce many characters and don't focus on a good deal of them enough. Half of 1A is barely known and 1B is essentially there and jealous of 1A. It would have been nice if the introduced snippets of other characters along the way to sort of blend and give you more to know. I don't just mean for 1A. I feel characters like Mirio and Nighteye could have been done better if they were introduced many arcs before. Like have Night introduce in Kamino Ward or have Mirio be someone Midoriya meets earlier because I just didn't feel invested enough with them. That could just be my personal preference but yeah.
