13. Author's Note: Rewrite

Hello readers. It's been a while, hasn't it? So, I got some good news and bad news. Let start with the bad news first.

Bad news is that I'm putting this fic in a hiatus. I'm not outright canceling it, as I might come back to it at some point, but the hiatus will be an indefinite one.

The good news, however? I'm rewriting the fic. It will be called "The-Boy-Who-Taught-Class-3A" and it will have a few major changes. The main one being? Harry will show up to Mahora around the same time as Negi, instead of already being there for years.

Reason I'm doing this? Someone pointed out that I should've/could've had Harry come to Mahora the same time as Negi, in order to develop the relationships at the very start. After much thinking on that, I ended up agreeing with that. Plus, I hardly deviated from the plot on this fic, and much of what happened here is what happened in canon. So, as another change, I'm gonna try my best to deviate from the canon story, though not too much where it becomes nonsensical (Maybe even create an entirely different plotline once I get far into it).

Also, I plan to have the pairings be developed more naturally. While I have planned ships, I won't strictly stick to them, and will let them be developed more freely.

Finally, more good news: You won't have to wait too long for the rewrite. I've been working on the first chapter this past week, and I'm close to finishing, if not done already. So, unless something comes up, you should be able to see it within the next few days.

Apologies for all who enjoyed this fic, but I think it's for the best at the moment. Like I said, I might come back to this fic in the future, but that's a strong 'maybe', so don't get your hopes up. I hope you guys understand, and aren't too terribly angry or disappointed. With that, I'll see you all in the rewrite.

P.S. If you guys have any ideas for the rewrite, whether if it's for the plot itself, characters and pairings, or just the first few chapters, let me know. No guarantees that I'll use all of them, but it could help keep me from getting terribly stuck on a chapter in the future.
