"ADORA!" Glimmer called out for the umpteenth time, looking high and low for her blond friend, but not actually waiting long enough to hear a response before teleporting away. "ADORA!" She ended up in the throne room with her mother, "Mom! Have you seen Adora anywhere?! I need to talk to her, the time is finally here!" She held up a scroll with the signet of the Kingdom of Snows.

"Glimmer!" she responded sternly, "I've been getting complaints about you shouting all about around the castle!"

"That's because it's finally happening! I need to find her asap!"

"Glimmer! Calm down this instant!" Her daughter instantly shrank down under her glare, "Now, have you tried asking anyone if they had seen Adora or have you been mindlessly just been shouting around?" According to her now sheepish squirming, the answer would be the latter. Rubbing her forehead, Queen Angella leaned towards one of her guards, "Please tell me you have something to report about Adora's current whereabouts?"

"Yes, Your Majesty, I last heard that she and Master Sora were with Her Highness, Princess Entrapta."

Glimmer smacked herself on the head, "Duh!" before she teleported herself away.

The guard turned to her Queen, "Ma'am, what was that about?"

Angella shook her head and let out a sigh, "It's the Princess Prom."

After picking up Bow, Glimmer teleported the two down to the Gummi Ship before they charged inside. "Everyone, guess what time it-WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!"

Before the two was Entrapta, frozen in place as she was being electrocuted by the exposed conduit she was holding onto. Sora was right behind her with his arms around her and looked to be trying to pull her away, but he too, was shocked in place by the flow of electricity. AND behind Sora was Adora, her arms were around the former and was equally helpless. Sparks were flying everywhere around them all.

"Hiiiiiiit theeeeeee biiiiiig, ooooraaaaange buuuuttooonnn!" Entrapta's broken voice managed to get through her clenched teeth.

"Huuurrrrryyyy!" Sora and Adora begged.

Already Glimmer and Bow were scrambling to find said big, orange button, but there were several of them. They quickly started pressing them one at a time to see the end results. They went through four buttons before the exposed current that Entrapta was attached to was shut off, and the three were shot back into the wall with a small bang. "Guys, are you all okay?!"

The three laid in place, their limbs and facial movement kept randomly twitching, and their hair stuck out in every direction like a dandelion while smoke wafted off of them.

"That-that doesn't look okay" Bow pointed out, "Glimmer, I think you should find Donald-"

"-I'll go find Donald!"

Ten minutes later after returning with Donald and Goofy, they managed to get the three healed and back on their feet.

"Phew! You'd think after all the times I've been nearly electrocuted to death, I'd have built a bit of a resistance to this stuff by now!" Entrapta was able to easily shake the experience off. Her magically hair was also able to fix itself up right away.

Sora was playing with his tongue, "Can anyone else taste all the colors of the wind, cause I think I can. Kind of oaky, but not as dry as you'd think...but it's not moist either. Is that a thing?" Sora was able to walk off the experience well enough, too. His hair easily bounced back into their spiky locks.

Adora on the other hand was twitchy, hunched over, and her hair still remained puffy. "How-how the hell are you guys still standing?!" she managed before kneeling over.

Entrapta's hair picked up the blond and set her down on a seat before the girl tried to search through her long tress. "Okay, log, log, log...hey! Where the heck is my audio recorder?!"

A burnt looking object caught Goofy's eye, he moved and picked it up. "Gawrsh, this ain't it, is it?"

Bow muttered an 'uh-oh' as he saw it.

"NOOOOOOO!" she shouted as she slid on her knees and grasped it. "All of my week's notes were recorded on there! How?! How did this happen?! I've gone out of my way to insulate my recorders after the first several incidents, and it still got fried! This literally sets me back a whole week!" she cried.

"Aw man, this is awful!" Bow picked the recorder from her hand and inspected it. "You know, there's still a possible chance that the memory unit survived. All we got to do is extract it and install it in a replacement!"

"You really think there's a chance!" Entrapta clasped her hands together as hope began to rise.

Sora knelt down beside her and put a comforting on her shoulder. "Hey, if there's anyone that can see this through, it's gonna be you or Bow! Just watch, Bow's gonna come through and-" A small explosion followed by small mechanical whining interrupted. They all watched as the recorder fell into pieces. "-and not get your hard work back."

Entrapta's eyes watered up before clinging into Sora's chest and bawled her eyes out. "All my work! I've made extraordinary leaps and bounds all this week AND IT'S ALL GO-O-O-O-ONE!" Sora gently patted the small girl's back as she wailed.

"All our work and effort too" Adora moaned as she slumped forward.

"Can't you try and remember some of the things you got right? It could spark some of the good ideas you had" Donald pointed out.

"Are you kidding me?!" the pig-tailed Princess shouted, "Do you know how much information is constantly going through my head?! I'm literally always coming up with new ideas, I can't focus on any one thing for long! That's why I always have to keep at least one recorder on me at all times or I'll never get anything done!"

"Wait a minute!" Sora exclaimed, "Adora and I were with you! We can help you recreate some of your progress, like your eureka moments!"

Adora nodded, "Yeah!"

Entrapta looked hurt and angry still, "Oh yeah?! Just give me one example where you can accurately recall what I was doing right! Just one of those 'eureka moments!'"

Sora and Adora looked nervously at each other. They both clearly remember the few dozen times where the Pig-Tailed Princess was jumping with joy with her accomplishments, but there was no way they could come close to explaining what she was even doing, or exactly their part in it all was. They'd just shut up and did what they were told.

"..."

"..."

"That's what I thought..." She then fell back to her hands and knees and started bawling her eyes out some more.

"Great, now what?" Adora growled. Everyone could only shrug their shoulders.

Glimmer cleared her throat, "Hey guys, I know this isn't the most ideal time...or maybe it is? You know what, it is! Good news everyone, the time some of us have long awaited for has finally arrived." She pulled out the scroll, "We got the invitations to the All-Princess Ball, in other words… it's Princess Prom!"

Adora tilted her head in question, "Prom?"

Sora's face turned red and held his cheeks, "Prom?!"

"PROM?!" Entrapta threw her arms in the air, "Who the heck cares about the obligatory social gathering of our peers that only stands to put each other in awkward conversations with complete strangers for some of us?! It's not gonna help fix my work!"

"P-p-p-prom?! I'm not ready for this! I've missed so many of the dances back home with my adventures! I don't even know how to dance!"

"The heck is prom?"

Donald pointed and laughed at Sora, "Sora dancing? I'd pay good money to see that!"

"W-what?! What's wrong with the idea of me dancing?!"

Goofy crossed his arms in thought, "Ya know, it is kind of hard to see Sora dancing, now that you mention it."

"What's wrong with me dancing?!"

Donald then started berating him, "Sora, when you're not fighting, you can almost be as much of a klutz or goofball as Goofy. I bet you'd step on every person's toes, especially with those giant shoes of yours!"

Glimmer and Bow squatted down and stared at his feet. "You know, I really hoped that someone would have mentioned it sooner."

"Yeah dude, we've always wanted to ask, why are your shoes so huge?"

"Yeah, I've seen your feet, and they look normal sized to me."

"Can someone please explain to me what's a prom?" Adora asked again, but was further ignored.

"Hey! It's fashionable, also they're super comfortable and they work perfect for me and my fighting style!"

"Watch him step on three different people's feet at once with those!" Donald continued to laugh and tease.

Entrapta was now rolling on the floor, "Ruined! All my hard work ruined! I'm not ready to start backtracking! It's never worked out for me, that's why I usually always scrap the project and do something else, but I can't give up on this! It's a damn spaceship!"

"What are your socks like?" Glimmer had to ask.

"Oh man, making sock puppets must be totally amazing at home!"

Goofy tried to comfort the small Princess, "Now, now, easy there. I'm sure the answer will show up for ya, you'll see."

"MY FEET AREN'T THAT BIG, IT'S JUST THE FASHION!"

"CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT PROM IS?!" Adora's yell filled the ship.

"I'M NOT READY FOR PROM!" Sora cried while pulling at his hair.

After a long hour of finally trying to settle everyone down, they were finally able to clear the air and explain about the All-Princess Ball, the gala held every ten years where all the Princesses of Etheria gather.

Glimmer held up the invitation before letting it unfurl its inconceivably long list of requirements, "There are, like, a bajillion edicts and formal procedures to follow, but after all that it's party time!"

Bow started hopping up and down at the thought of it all, "Glimmer and I have literally been waiting for this for years!"

"Dancing, music, pretty dresses-"

"All the delicious food you can eat!"

Goofy's belly rumbled at the sound of that. "Boy-howdy, that all sounds awfully fun!"

Glimmer then practically jumped on Adora, "AND get this, this year it's being hosted by Princess Frosta of the Kingdom of Snows! Her powers are incredibly strong, and her kingdom is only second in size and power to Brightmoon, making them some of the greatest assets to get a hold of."

Bow dramatically threw his hands into the air, "Ice powers, man, she can shoot ICE OUT OF HER HANDS!"

"They have been strictly neutral during the fight against the Horde, so it's not gonna be easy," Glimmer explained.

Adora started sweating, "And you want me, the reverse party girl, to try and convince her at this event? Are you SURE you want me to try and help with this?!"

Sora was hiding behind her, "And there is NO WAY I'm ready for prom either!" Donald snickered at him again, which he responded with a glare and a threatening fist.

Entrapta crossed her arms, "And like I said before, these social events are only meant to put us at a disadvantage against our peers. It doesn't help that not all Princesses have their own Runestone with awesome powers attached. I don't have a real interest in seeing the other girls flaunt their good stuff at me."

Glimmer turned red and covered her face, "Oh my~"

Bow put a hand on her shoulder as a response, "Not that kind of good stuff."

"Besides," Entrapta jumped into the captain's seat and rubbed her face affectionately into the main console, "I've got all the partying and good times I'll ever need right in here!"

"Come on, Entrapta, we need you and your plus one if all of us are gonna make it. And it will be so much more fun knowing you're with us and not by yourself in here" Bow tried to reason.

"Nah."

Donald then pointed out, "We actually have Princess Netossa or Spinnerella we could ask, but you should still come. Won't this almost be like a social experiment?! We could make keen observations on our peers and make comparisons pertaining to every social spectrum we can think of! There can be introverted, extroverted, those with higher social standings or more powerful kingdoms..."

"Hey, I know what you're doing!" She pointed with her pigtail, "You're just trying to trick me by using my love of science and discovery, aren't you?!"

The wizard shrugged, "Even so, isn't it true?"

She locked herself in a glare with him while growling, "Fine, you guys win. By the way, your calculations are wrong Bow. There are three Princesses, but four guests, so someone's gonna get left behind if you all can't secure another Princess to help you."

"WHAT?!" Glimmer jumped before doing a headcount and confirmed what she said. "Bow, how the heck did you misscount everyone?!"

The archer in question nervously scratched the back of his head, "Well, the thing is, I'm sort of going with Princess Perfuma as her date."

Glimmer's eyes shrunk as part of her reaction, "W-what? But Bow, we've always gone as each other's partners for all of these events! We have our matching outfits, our inside jokes, then ice cream afterwards, it's our thing!"

"See?! These are the awkward social things I actively try to avoid." Entrapta swung herself out of the Gummi Ship and left.

Bow tried to put a hand on Glimmer's shoulders, but she wasn't having any of that, "Look Glim, there is nothing wrong with having a new thing, things change."

"But why didn't you tell me sooner?! When did she even ask you?!"

"Whelph, time to hit the dusty old trail. Gonna see if Entrapta needs any help." Goofy then excused himself from the ship.

"Look, I didn't even think it's that much of a big deal-"

"I'll come help!" Donald ran after him. "The vertically challenged need to stick together!"

Bow felt a sweat drop as he watched him run out, he may have definitely said the wrong thing just now. "Besides, we'll all be together anyway. And we would have needed to find another Princess to take us so we could all go, and we don't know if we could have gotten Netossa or Spinnerella to agree, so this works out perfectly...right?"

Adora had taken cover behind Sora as he slowly inched his way closer to the exit, not being able to think of an excuse for the two of them.

"Look, I need to get going to start arranging things with Perfuma. I'll catch up with you guys later." With the discussion over, he left Glimmer alone with Sora and Adora. They stood petrified as Glimmer turned her attention towards them.

"Sora…" She walked up to the boy before smacking him across the face, "Get your crap together and find someone to teach you how to dance!" He ran out of the ship as though bats out from hell were after him.

"Adora!"

"Eep!" She shook in fear of the much smaller girl.

"We got work to do!"

"You have no idea how excited I am to be teaching you how to dance!" Princess Spinnerella excitedly pushed Sora into the empty ballroom.

"She, of course, means how we will be teaching you" Netossa corrected from behind. Sora had run into the Princesses after a meeting with Queen Angella, and the topic of the Princess Prom, that was just two weeks away, quickly came up.

"Of course, of course!" her wife waved off, "And we are glad you came in with a different pair of shoes, otherwise we'd probably be getting stepped on all night." Indeed Sora had managed to procure some dancing shoes from Bow before he left. "Heh heh, that was a joke, love your regular shoes, fits your look like a charm!"

"See, that's what I keep saying! It's fashionable, but no one's listening!"

"Look, just take it from us, they're just hating on you and people just love to hate. You look great, so don't listen to anyone otherwise." Netossa got the record player ready and music was now playing in the air.

Spinnerella pulled Sora in close and placed his hands on her hip and shoulder. "Alrighty, what we're gonna start off with is the traditional Salineas' Revolving Stars. Are you familiar with that at all?"

"...umm...uh?"

"Bah, that's fine. Well, just keep in mind that this is an intimate dance so," She pulled Sora in closer after he created too much space, "Whenever you think you're close enough, get even closer. Pretend that there's a ribbon tying us together at the waist, even. This is a three step dance, followed by a five step, then a rotation. Now, I usually lead so-"

"Ahem!" Netossa interrupted, "Usually I lead sweetie!" she said with a wide smile.

Spinnerella looked back at Sora, "Ignore her. Okay, since you're leading, you need to keep in mind to not step on your partner's feet, but they also have just as much responsibility to not be stepped on and keep up with you. Of course not everyone is perfect, so just do your best to match each other's pace. Let's try..." So for the next couple of minutes was spent trying to get Sora at ease, but he was as stiff as a board.

"No, no, no! Spinny, you're doing it all wrong, let me show you guys." Netossa stepped between the two and took the lead from Sora. "Here, look, watch my feet. One two three, one two three...no, no, keep your hands like before. You're still supposed to be leading."

"Oh, so you think I was doing it wrong?"

"Yeah because you don't know how to lead, I do!" She insisted while going through the steps with Sora. "Here, keep watching my feet, this is what you need to do…see, think you got it?"

"Umm, I think I-"

Spinnerella looked smug as she called out "I hope not, because you, my dear Netty, are all over the place."

The silver haired Princess stepped away from the very much bewildered Sora and got up her wife's face. "Look you, I'm the one who always leads!"

Spinnerella laughed, "Please, get real! Just think, I'm the one who always has to drag you to the dance floor, I'm the one who always guides your hands to where they need to be, I'm the one who always leads, and I'm the one who always has to hold your hand at home!"

"Oh, then explain the suit. Don't I have the suit showing that I'm the dominant one in this dance of ours?! I think I'm the one who's actually wearing the pants around here!" Netossa challenged.

"I have the exact same suit too! It was supposed to be a matching gift! That's why we both have the same matching dress!" Spinnerella then crossed her arms, "By the way, you better be wearing that dress, because since I will be leading, I can't have you following while wearing that!"

"First off, I'm leading, so there's no worries about that! Second, what is that supposed to even mean?!"

"WE are already the social pariah out of all the Princesses of Etheria! None of the other Princesses are married, let alone in an open relationship, with another woman like we are!"

Netossa stomped her foot, "I told you already that I couldn't give a damn about what they think about us!"

"Well you SHOULD care! Ever since our wedding, your kingdom's already lost three importing contracts, and eight exporting! They are not comfortable with us, and it's costing you and your people! When it comes to non-official matters, you can say 'screw them' all you like, but not for these kinds of events! We have to impress and win them over!"

"Oh my gosh, we've talked about this a dozen times! How much more do we have to do this?!"

By now, Sora had already made his way to the exit and closed the door behind him. He shook his head sadly, "No matter what world, bigotry always has to rear its ugly head at some point or another. So sad." He knocked softly on the wall and silently wished them luck on the matter.

After a while of wandering down the hallways to his room and practicing the few movements he was shown when no one was around, he nearly danced into someone as they were exiting Glimmer's room.

"Ah! So sorry about tha-tha-that, ahem. Sorry, Your Majesty." He had nearly smacked right into Queen Angella.

She took a moment to look him up and down before a chuckle nearly escaped her throat. "Quite alright, but are those...dance shoes you're wearing?" He could almost hear the laughter in her voice.

Formalities then fled his mind as he mocked her, "Oh yeah, 'ha ha ha' laugh it up while you still can. Pretty sure these things are going to be gone forever in a minute when I incinerate them."

"Oh come now, you must see it from everyone else's point of view. You, who always wears those massive platforms you call shoes, suddenly in something so thin and sleek. I'm assuming those are for the All Princess Ball?"

Sora looked down at his feet, "Yeah, I had asked for some dancing lessons, but something… personal came up for them." He looked up at her, "What are you up to?"

Queen Angella bobbed her head side to side, "Well, Glimmer is having a bit of a hard time right now. Just trying to follow Goofy's advice and do my motherly duty is all."

He crossed his arms, "Yeah, kind of surprising what happened with Bow, huh?"

She covered her mouth to hide her chuckle, "Oh, so you know about that with Glimmer?"

"Everyone knows about Glimmer" They both sounded at the same time.

"Yes, I don't know who she's kidding by trying to hide her crush? It's a miracle that Bow hasn't noticed by now."

Sora shrugged his shoulders, "Eh, sometimes us boys are just really, really dumb. What else can I say?"

"So, how's the day fair with you so far?" She tried to salvage from the long pause.

"Meh. Adora, Entrapta and I got electrocuted for about twenty minutes before Glimmer and Bow saved us."

"Electrocuted?! Twenty minutes?!"

"Yeah, not the greatest."

Angella just had to ask what was on her mind, "Please tell me if you find this too forward, but seeing as your dance instructor is currently unable, would you mind if I showed you how to dance?!"

Sora blinked twice, "What-what?!"

He watched her shoulders actually relax for once as she slouched forward. "Really now, some of my fondest memories were of me dancing, and it has been sooo long. The last time was with Micah, and before that was teaching little Glimmer and her tiny little feet how to dance." She blushed and held her face. "Oh you should have seen her in her little booties as she stood on either me or her father's feet, oh she was so precious and adorable!"

Sora tried to look around for help. All his time knowing the Queen, she was the absolute paragon of regal and self control, and now she was showing a rare motherly side in a way he'd never seen before...she almost sounded like Goofy when he's going on about his Max.

"Come now, no need for that!" She grabbed him by the wrist before pulling him alongside her. "Even though I am the Queen, I am still both a parent and a person who can enjoy the things life has to offer. Besides, you're a bit taller than Micah, so this should be easy enough for everyone."

"Uhhhhhhhhhh-"

"Ow, ow, ow, ow" Sora groaned with each step as he waddled to his room. To say that Queen Angella was excited in her lessons would be an understatement, she was practically over the moon the moment she turned the music on. She was also surprisingly patient with the slow learner, and offered good advice that mirrored some of what Spinnerella and Netossa had offered. Also not once did Sora step on her feet, he was extremely proud of that fact.

He felt as though he made some real progress towards the end, and his feet felt it too as he stepped into his room, but blinked twice at what he saw. "What the heck is all this?" There were papers and diagrams hanging all over the walls and floor, with even strings connecting between them. It almost looked like the war room.

With a surprised scream, Glimmer poked her head out from behind a curtain, "Sora?! What are you doing here?!"

"Umm, I sleep in here? Or did I miss a memo?"

"Oh good, Sora, maybe you can help talk some sense into Glimmer about these damn dresses." Adora then stepped out from behind the curtain.

Glimmer again screamed in surprise at the taller girl as she tried and failed to push the taller girl back, "ADORA, THE HECK ARE YOU DOING OUT HERE IN YOUR UNDERWEAR?! SORA'S HERE!"

Sora quickly covered his blushing. "Yeah, yeah, I'm just gonna excuse myself!" Sora struggled to turn around to find his way back to the door, but he refused to move his hands.

"What are you guys screaming about?!"

"Adora, back behind the curtains, now!" Glimmer tried to push her back. "What are you thinking, just walking out here like that?!"

Adora crossed her arms and refused to budge, "What are you on about? This was never a problem before, and back at the Horde, we all had to change in the same locker room. Besides, this is Sora, so what if he sees me in my underwear? I'm fine that he sees me like this."

Glimmer's jaw dropped, "Really?!"

"...Really to what exactly?"

"Either, both! The locker rooms! What is wrong with you people?!"

Adora was very stern as she pointed out, "Hey, hey! First off, we had separate shower rooms, we aren't barbarians. Second, that swimsuit you squeezed me into when we went to the beach was waaaay more revealing and embarrassing than this!"

...

"Umm, huh." Glimmer began to ponder much more calmly.

Sora actually dared himself to take a peek at her and her underwear. "Huh, what? No, that's her pajamas! She wears that every night when we go to bed!"

Adora crossed her arms, "Nooo, these are my underwear. I don't even know what pajamas are" she said slowly, "And like Sora said, this is what I sleep in every night, so I don't see what the big deal is. He sees me like this all the time."

Glimmer was doing an excellent impression of a fish as she looked at everyone.

Sora held his hands behind his head, "Huh...I feel as though I should still be embarrassed and look away because it's her underwear and all...but I'm really not...does this make me a bad person now?"

"You people are crazy!"

Sora pointed out, "But you looked like you were about to accept that Adora's swimsuit was way more revealing than her underwear."

"Yeah! So nothing's wrong with my underwear!"

"CAN WE PLEASE STOP SAYING UNDERWEARING?!"

Sora and Adora exchanged a knowing look before nodding with a smile.

"Underwear, underwear, underwear, underwear!"

"Underwear, underwear, underwear, underwear!"

"GAH! That's it!" Glimmer had enough before she teleported away, leaving the two alone laughing.

"So, what are you doing besides running around in your underwear and playing dress up apparently?"

"Oh! Check this out!" She pushed him towards the center of her masterpiece. "I've made the ultimate comprehension plan for tackling this ball! There is no way I can mess this up, it's foolproof!" She started fistpumping, "All I gotta do is memorize it all."

Sora eagerly raised his hand, "Oh, oh! I wanna help! You can also help me practice my dance moves that Glimmer's mom taught me!"

"Wait, Queen Angella was teaching you how to dance?! Wait, does that mean I'm expected to dance too?!"

In one week's time, a loud roaring was coming from the engines of the Gummi Ship before it slowly began to hover in place. The hatch opened as Entrapta, Sora, Donald, and Goofy came out and looked at the ground slowly getting away from them before jumping, hugging and cheering with each other. Everyone in the castle came to their windows or ran outside to look at the source of the commotion and felt their jaws drop at the sight. The ship was actually flying now. The four then leaned out of the hatch before waving to everyone joyfully...that was until the engine sputtered out and the whole thing literally came crashing down into the courtyard.

"We're ok-ay!" Entrapta's nasally voice was heard from the wreck.

Queen Angella took flight and landed near the wreck before Glimmer teleported in with Adora. "Is everyone alright?!" Guards were approaching to help.

The Pig-tailed Princess dizzlily stepped away from the crash before she fell on her butt. She looked up at the Queen with an odd look before she asked loudly, "Huh? Did you say something?!"

Angella knelt down and looked her over, "I asked if you were alright?! Are you injured anywhere?!"

She blinked curiously at her before yelling, "Yeah, you see, I can see your lips moving, but nothing is coming out! Are you messing with me, or did I go deaf again from another explosion?!"

Glimmer came up and yelled "Stop shouting! We. Can. Hear. Every. Word. You're. Saying!"

Realization hit Entrapta, "Oh! I think acoustic trauma perforated my eardrums! Don't worry, this happens all the time! I invented an ear salve just for these kinds of situations! I can fix this no problem! Maybe you should check on the others?!"

At that moment, Goofy ran out of the Gummi Ship while his arm was on fire. "I'm on fire! Put me out, put me out!"

Donald came running after him with a blanket before he started smacking and smothering the fire. "HOLD STILL!"

Water was seen gushing out from the hatch as well as a dripping wet Sora stepped out of the ship before falling forward face first. "Fire's out!"

Entrapta looked over the wreckage while tapping her chin in thought with her hair. "Okay, I think I know exactly where I went wrong! I can fix this, but first-!" She rummaged through her pockets before pulling out a small tube, "I have ear cream for everyone! I may have sat on it, but it should still be good!" She gave it a quick sniff before making a face, "Blah! Whatever you do, don't smell it!"

Queen Angella sighed, "Why does it feel that my castle has become a madhouse as of late?"

Another week later, the Three Half-Pints stood in a circle excitedly at the castle's entrance, performing their final checklist from that evening's ball.

"Corsage?" Goofy started. The three held up the flowery accessory to give to their partners.

"Check. Final clothes check?" Donald inspected Sora's wear, while he inspected Goofy's, and he in turn looked down Donald's. The three of them were wearing formal black suits and ties. Donald was of course bottomless, but he had a much longer tailcoat and wore black shoe spats over his webbed feet.

"Check, looks good to me!" Sora confirmed, his two friends also confirmed. "Lamp shades?" The three pulled from behind their backs lamp shades that they had grabbed from around the castle's many, many lamps.

"Check. Backup lamp shades?" Donald then pulled out a second lamp shade, followed by the other two.

"Check. Lamp shades to put on our pals heads when we get boogie with it?" Goofy listed off the final tally.

"Check!" they all cried as they had lamp shades for days.

"This party is gonna be amazing!" Sora jumped.

"That's because we're gonna be there!" Goofy said humorly.

"Are we sure about the lamp shades?" Donald had to ask again.

"You heard Glimmer, we have to deal with formality stuff first, but then it becomes a real party almost right after!" Sora confirmed excitedly. "And if anyone else around here knows how to party after the three of us, it's her!"

"Oh boy!"

"Hotdog!"

"It's about time, should we get the others?" Sora asked.

"Already here!" Glimmer and Adora made their way up to them. The Brightmoon Princess wore a wide, two toned purple dress with a light blue pair of elbow length gloves. Adora wore a sleek, sleeveless red dress that hugged to her form, and a pink sash tied around her waist.

"Wow, you guys look great!" Sora was quick to compliment.

"Gawrsh, you two do look awfully pretty."

Donald looked around, "But where's Entrapta?"

"She's probably still getting ready in your ship." Adora then scratched her head, "Alright, weird question, but is she, you know, living in there? I've always been afraid to ask."

"Yeah, pretty much" Donald deadpanned, not too happy with the arrangements.

"Hey, at least we got the bathroom back together" Sora shrugged.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

Sora's eyes shrunk, he's never made a mention of the incident before. "Nothing!"

They made their way to the courtyard where the ship sat mostly repaired. Since its near take off, any and all progress came to a grinding halt. Entrapta just seemed to have run into a block that she can't seem to get past. Glimmer knocking at the entrance door. "Hello, Entrapta, you ready to get going?"

"One second!" They all heard a bunch of crates being scrapped across the floor as she made her way to them. "Ready!" Entrapta stood there wearing...what she's worn pretty much everyday.

"Entrapta?! You're not dressed!" Glimmer shouted.

"Of course I'm dressed! My social skills are without a pulse and even I know you're not supposed to be going around in your birthday suit."

Glimmer pulled at her face, "You're not dressed properly for the Princess Prom!"

"Ahem," One of her pigtails reached inside the cabin before pulling out the invitation. "I've scoured and memorized every rule, and every word. Nowhere listed inside is a dress code for anyone to follow. So ha ha."

Sora approached with his arms crossed, "Still though, dressing up might be a pain for some people, but you should still look your best for a nice event like this. Some people even have fun doing it."

Entrapta scoffed, "Look, even if I did send someone to get me a fancy-smancy dress, it wouldn't have mattered. Aside from not owning one in six years, I'd rather strangle myself then try and squeeze myself into one of those and become the exact opposite of my conceptualized self."

Adora pointed a finger up, "I am, like, 85% on her side on this one. Still, it is kind of nice to try and look pretty for once."

The Genius Princess put her hands on her sides, "Well, even if I did consider it, I still don't own a dress, and everyone is easily taller than me, so no one to share with me."

"Maybe a change of shirt at least?" Donald pointed at the large blotches of oil on her white shirt.

She gave the stains a hard glare before she tried to rub it off. When that failed, she tried to apply some elbow grease, mixed with her spit. Everyone gave each other a glance before the Princess upped the gear. She turned around, undid her overalls, took her shirt off, flipped it inside-out, and redressed. She turned around with a stainless side on, "Tada~!"

Everyone stared at her, pink in the face. "Ya couldn't have maybe gotten a new shirt from inside...or changed in there?" Goofy asked.

"Would have considered it if I brought any clothes with me from Dryl."

Glimmer subtly pinched her nose and mumbled under her breath, "How has she not stunk up the place?"

Entrapta heard her comment, but was far from offended by it. "Easy! With my patented invention, the Washing Machine!" She gestured to two large, cylinder machines that's been sitting by the Gummi Ship for weeks. "Imagine it, no longer do you need a servant to hand wash your clothes, and need the warm sun to set them out on a clothesline to dry and wait to dry. This machine will do it all for you in a matter of a couple of hours total, day or night!"

"Awesome!" Sora wasn't going to make any mentions that his world has had such an invention for a few decades.

Glimmer blinked as she looked the machines over in thought. "Huh, that's actually pretty amazing. Though why didn't you let us know or share it with us earlier?"

"Might have considered it if the machines didn't regularly catch on fire." As if on cue, the two machines let up in flames. Entrapta did not break eye contact with them. "Yeah, still got a few kinks to work out, but for the most part, it's been a moderately great success!" Her pig-tails then reached to the side before pulling out a fire extinguisher and putting out the fire. "So what are we waiting for?! Let's go!"

After a long carriage ride to the Kingdom of Snows, the six stood in line to enter the palace. Two issues quickly arose however.

"It's cold, it's cold, it's so frickin cold! I hate the cold! Why would anyone willingly settle in a place like this?! I hate it here, I hate it here!" Sora cried and complained as he did everything he could to keep himself warm.

"I can't believe I'm about to give up She-Ra's sword to a bunch of strangers! What if they mess around with it?! What if by the time I get it back, it suddenly won't work anymore?! What if my sword doesn't like sitting around all the other weapons?!" Adora hugged her sword tightly to her chest while rubbing her cheek along the grip.

"Oh my gosh, you two are so annoying right now!" Glimmer finally had enough. "Sora, we get it, you're an islander and you don't do snowy mountaintops. Get over it! It's gonna be a lot warmer inside, so just wait a few minutes longer!" She then pointed at Adora, "And you, this is an ancient, mystical sword that's been sitting lost in the forest for who knows how long?! It will be fine in the armory for a few hours!"

The two were now cowering behind Goofy. Ever since Bow announced that he was going to the dance with Perfuma, Glimmer's temper became something to fear. She once even teleported Adora to the tippy top of Brightmoon's castle and left her there, it took the former Horde soldier hours to get down without any tools or help.

"Gawsh, hang in there fellas. Soon, we'll be inside partying and getting our groove on!" Goofy then rubbed his belly, "And eating all sorts of yummy food too. Boy howdy, I can't wait!"

Donald then jumped with a thought, "Maybe there will be karaoke?!"

"That will be fun!" Sora agreed as he finally stepped out.

"What's karaoke, something you eat?" Entrapta asked, not looking up from her data pad. Ever since hitting that first road blocks, she's been completely obsessive with trying to get past it.

"You know, where they play a song, but only the music and you have to sing the lyrics instead."

"...Meh."

After Adora reluctantly handed over her weapon, along with Donald and Goofy, they finally stepped inside the frozen palace where a short line was to greet the hostess, Princess Frosta. Their turn would be coming up soon. Adora and Glimmer pulled their heads in together to finalize their strategy.

"Okay Adora, Princess Frosta is at the other end of this line. Stay calm, remember to take a deep breath, and don't let this freak you out. We came up with a plan, you've memorized it, all you gotta do is follow it through, got it? You good?"

She nodded, "Yeah, I'm good. I'm good. Deep breaths, I got this." The two stood up and straightened out their dresses. "Alright, let's do this...wait...where are Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Entrapta?"

Glimmer spotted them at the front of the line, "There. They really should have waited for us though."

"Yeah...wait a moment...Are they about to introduce themselves on their own...to the Princess?!" Adora's voice panicked.

"Um, yeah. What's the probleee-" A flashback suddenly struck her mind of the very first time she and everyone else in the royal courtroom met the Keyblade Wielder. Her jaw dropped. "Oooooh nooooo!" The two rushed to the front and cut off the Princesses and their guests that were ahead of them to try and reach them, but it was too late.

"Greetings, I am Princess Frosta of the Kingdom of Snows. I welcome you to the All-Princess Ball."

"Whoa, you're Princess Frosta?! But you're like ten!" Everyone present gasped. Indeed, the Princess sitting on the throne was much younger than he or the other Princesses he knew. The young girl wasn't any taller than Donald while wearing her fur lined blue dress. She had dark black eyes, and her cobalt blue hair was short and cut into a bob with two bangs hanging on either side, and a three pointed ice crown sitting on her head. She was also not pleased.

"I am eleven and three quarters" she grumbled angrily.

"Still though, wow!" Sora continued. Everyone looked nervous. "Man, that has to be so cool to be in charge of your own kingdom! You can do anything you want!"

"That is pretty nifty," Goofy agreed, "But being a leader's got to be a lot of hard work."

"She has a lot of responsibilities to uphold, she can't be doing just anything for herself" Donald explained.

Entrapta then threw her arms up, "And it isn't an easier cause you're kid! Who's gonna want to take a kid seriously?! As someone who is vertically challenged and looked down often, Princess Frosta has my respect and support!"

Sora slumped forward, "Aw man, I was so wrong before...no wait, I take that back! Princess Frosta is so cool! She's a kid and she's running her country like a grownup pro!" He then gave her a big thumbs up and smile, "Keep up the awesome work Princess! Oh, by the way, I'm Sora!"

"Donald Duck!"

"I'm Goofy!"

"And I'm Princess Entrapta of Dryl! Hello!"

The entire chamber was quiet with aghast faces, the only sound to be heard was the distant wind. Princess Frosta sat there on her throne with her two guards at her side looking either horrified or ready to kill. Glimmer and Adora desperately tried to think of a way out of this, but there was no way to disavow them, they were listed as their plus ones! The Princess herself sat silently with her face burning red and her right eye twitching.

"T-thank you for your kind greetings. Please go inside and enjoy the ball." She actually sounded embarrassed about the whole thing!

"Neat, thanks. See you inside."

Adora and Glimmer watched them enter deeper inside the castle before they hurried forward and bowed deeply to the ice ruler. "Princess Frosta, we are so sorry for our friends' behavior!"

Glimmer continued, "While I cannot say anything for Dryl, please don't let their behavior reflect on anyway on the Kingdom of Brightmoon!"

Frosta glared at the two, "They are fine, as unorthodox as they were. You two on the other hand have cut across other Princesses and their guests, and have finished speaking with me without once introducing yourselves or even saying hello."

Their eyes shrank and their jaws dropped. The others got a pass with their stunt, but they didn't?! "We are so sorry, Princess. I am Adora, the chosen one to take the mantle of She-Ra."

"And I am Princess Glimmer of Brightmoon Kingdom."

The Ice Princess stared them down. She sounded far less pleasant than she was with the others. "I am Princess Frosta of the Kingdom of Snows. You are welcomed here under the ancient rules of hospitality. Leave conflict at the door, and enjoy the ball."

"Thank you!" Without another word, the two rushed in after their friends.

"What the heck is going on?!" Adora demanded.

"I don't know, but did you hear what she just said?! What she had to say?!" Glimmer covered her face with her hands. "Not even five minutes in, and everything is already a disaster! We didn't do anything wrong and she already hates our guts! What the heck are we supposed to do now?!"

"Seriously?! How the hell did she not get pissed at Sora and the others, but she did with us?! She was so red, I thought she was gonna explode!"

Glimmer took a moment to think about it. "Wait a minute. Wait a minute! She's a kid! She wasn't red with anger, it was embarrassment because they ended up saying a bunch of nice things about her in their own dumb and childish way! We gotta get her in bed with Sora!" Glimmer turned a bright shade of pink and held her face, "Oh my~! No! Snap out of it! I know what I'm talking about!"

"What are you on about with a bed, Sora and Frosta?!"

"It's a figure of speech. The plan was to lead with you and She-Ra, but now Sora's gonna have to be the one to charm her into joining the Rebellion!"

Adora held her hands in thought, "Okay, we're either really good, or we're totally doomed!"

"By all that is tech, this is amazing!" Entrapta's eyes glistened as she sat on Goofy's shoulders. "Look at all the assorted tiny foods they have! I'm in food love!" Her hair started to scoop some of the tasty horderves onto her other pigtail, but the royal captain stopped her.

"Easy now, Entrapta. This is a party, you got to show good manners in front of everyone." He reached over and handed her a plate and napkins. "Be polite now, and don't take more than you can eat." He quickly grabbed and started piling food in his own plate while licking his lips. "I, on the other hand, can eat a whole bunch easily! Ah-hyuck!"

Sora was gesturing the party to Donald, "See, look, told ya it would be a party party. Aren't you glad we brought our lampshades?"

Donald jumped with joy, "Oh boy! This is gonna be great!"

"Food, dancing with no pressure, good music-"

"We can sing better than them!"

Sora laughed at that, "Yeah, we can!"

"And I'm here too." The two turned to see a shivering and sad looking Mermista in a dark blue tube top reaching up to her neck and tucked into a jeweled collar. She also wore a tight, aquamarine skirt that reached down and hid her feet. Her hair was done in a ponytail and styled to the side. She looked like she was freezing with only a blue sash to cover her completely exposed arms and midriff. "Please do NOT make a big deal about me."

Sora and Donald looked to each other. "Are you okay?"

"What do you think?! I grew up on a tropical paradise, and here I am on a freezing snow topped mountain, trying to party inside a castle made of ice!" She reached into her sash and pulled out a silver flask before taking a swing. She quickly hid it away after her sip.

"You're drinking?!" Donald looked ready to berate her.

"Found it in my dad's old study. It is literally the only thing stopping me from freezing to death at this point! I totally regret even coming here" she said through chattering teeth.

Sora shook his head softly before putting a hand on her shoulder. "Believe me Mermista, as someone who grew up on a tropical island too, I know your pain." He took her hand before leading her to the buffet table, "Come on, there's some hot coco over here."

After two cups, she looked like she was back on her feet as she and Sora leaned against each other, almost too relaxed for their own good. "Ahhh~ I can always count on you to fix me right up." She planted a kiss on her mug before getting a third serving.

"So Mermisty, are ya here by yourself or did you bring-?" Goofy started to ask, but the Princess quickly cut him off.

"Yes! Yes, I am totally here by myself! No other questions on the topic are required."

The Three Half-Pints scratched their head at that, but decided to let it go. Entrapta, on the other hand, dug more at it with her recorder ready. "Tell me, Mermista, on a scale of one-to-ten, how much do you not want to talk about the topic of dates. One being 'yes, I'd love to talk about it more than anything' and ten being 'no, now get out of my face before I smash it in.'"

Mermista glared down at the much smaller, ignorant, and unflinching girl. After five seconds of unbroken eye contact, she relented and answered with a sigh "Seven, I guess."

"Neat-o!"

"There you guys are!" Glimmer rushed up to them with Adora right on her heels. She grabbed Sora by the collar, "What the heck was that back there?!"

"You guys nearly ruined it for us and Princess Frosta!"

The three jumped, "Huh, how?!"

"Uh ooooh" Realization dawned on the wizard.

"Gawrsh, guess we were so excited about the party, I guess we forgot to bow, curtsy and stuff."

"We probably sounded rude when talking, too."

Sora scratched the back of his head, "Guess we blew it. Anyway we can somehow fix it?"

"Wait, like, what's going on here?" Mermista asked.

"Oh, we're desperately trying to secure an alliance with the Kingdom of Snows, but we may have ruined it with our inept social skills!" Entrapta answered with a chipper voice.

"Yes, there is a way to fix this!" Glimmer pulled Sora in closer, bringing them practically nose to nose with each other, "You need to be the one to charm her into joining."

Sora blinked once, twice, thrice, "...Huh?! I thought we were the ones who blew it?!"

"You blew it for us! We tried to apologize, but that somehow made her angry and stuff. I'm still not totally sure what really happened!" Adora tried to explain while looking around confused.

"Now it's up to the three of you and your innocent charm and wander and crap that needs to pull this together. She wants to be treated like an adult, but she's still a kid, work with your child friendliness whatever!"

The three looked to each other oddly. "So what do we have to do?" Donald asked.

"Be yourselves, but more of it!" Glimmer yelled.

Sora put both of his hands behind his head as he tried to think about it. "Okaaaay?"

"So be nice and have fun around Princess Frosta?" Goofy tried to clarify.

"Yes!" Adora and Glimmer yelled.

"Okay, think, think, think, think. Once every guest arrives, she'll be coming down those stairs, and once theeeeeeeee-" Glimmer completely zoned out as she watched Bow and Perfuma descend down those very stairs. "They, they, they're...wearing matching outfits?! But that's our thing!" she cried.

"Glimmer, that plan?" Adora tried to remind her.

Glimmer either didn't hear her or ignored her. "Look at them laughing, they have their own inside jokes?! Already?! What, is she his new favorite now?!" She crossed her arms and pouted.

Mermista took a step back. "Okaaay, not about to touch that jelly mess-"

"There's jelly, where?!" Entrapta's attention returned to the buffet table.

"...So anyway, did you want to finish the plan or whatever?" Mermista finished.

"What if Bow starts hanging out with her instead of us?! We're supposed to be in this mission together!"

Donald discreetly whispered to the group, "So she's obviously jealous and out of the plan. What do we do now?"

Captain Sea Hawk suddenly made his way through the crowd and started singing "There she is, she's a beauty, can't you seeee?! She's attending this with meee! She's my Princess of the Seaaa! Mermistaaaa-! Oh hey, it's my crew."

"Hey, Sea Hawk!" Sora smiled.

"Hiya Captain" Goofy greeted politely.

"Oh, you're here. Great" Donald mumbled with very little love.

Adora laughed coyly at the Mermaid Princess, "So-o-o. Sea Hawk's your plus one?"

The young woman instantly lit up pink as she venomously tried to deny it. "No! He's just my ride, okay?! Just. My. Ride."

"Of course, of course." The sea captain quickly walked past them, but whispered "I am totally her plus one!" while pulling at his corsage. "To the dance floor! Oh hey Bow. Everyone's here, fantastic!"

Glimmer's eyes shrunk as Bow and Perfuma approached. Panicking, she swung both her arms around Sora's neck before laughing loudly, "Oh my gosh, that is so funny! Don't you just love our inside jokes?!" She then pretended to now notice the two newcomers. "Did you guys know how cute and funny Sora is?! Like, so much so!"

Sora smiled, "Well, first of all, everyone can tell how cute I am to start with. I am told, though, that I am funny as funny can be!" Sora didn't have any modesty on the matter.

"I'm gone." Mermista walked away the impending train wreck.

"Everyone, it's great to see you all!" Perfuma greeted joyfully. She took special notice of Donald and Goofy. "Oh, these must be the friends you mentioned that you were looking for. Oh, how the universe delivers!"

Bow laughed at that. "Yeah, just like how the universe delivered that horse?! Perfuma was just telling me how this winged horse was going around eating every apple in sight! How crazy is that?!"

"Yeah, whatever" Glimmer quickly dismissed it before putting a smile on her face. "Isn't this fun though, us being here together? I mean, Sora and I are having a great time together!" She wrapped her arms around his. "I mean, seriously, a one in a million, this guy. Best date ever! Hahahaha! How's yours going?"

Sora looked nervous as he suddenly realized what the Princess had dragged him into. Donald and Goofy stuck their hands in their pockets before whistling away while guiding Adora along the buffet table. Entrapta settled for watching the whole spectacle, "This is absolutely fascinating to watch!"

Bow smiled, "Well, the party just started, but I've good a good feeling we're gonna have a great time!" He and Perfuma seemed pretty oblivious to the mood. "We're gonna go around and say hi to a bunch of people, wanna come join us?"

Glimmer's eye twitched as she squeezed Sora's arm tighter ten times tighter to her chest. "What?! Nooooo! You guys go on, we'll find you later! Sora and I got plans we need to do before anything else!" she ended with an even bigger fake smile and laugh.

"Cool" was all he said before they walked off, not noticing Sora's pained expression while biting down on his lips.

Glimmer's smile snapped into a scowl and her grip around Sora tightened even further. "Did you SEE THAT?! He barely showed any interest at all!"

"Ow, ow, ow! Glimmer, you're holding on too tight! You're hurting me!"

Glimmer let go. "How could he do all of this so easily?! I thought what we had meant a lot more than this!" Her mood instantly went from angry to sad. "I just don't understand."

Shaking his arm and getting feeling back to it, he put a hand on her shoulder. "Glimmer...us guys are pretty dumb a lot of times. I'm sure sooner or later he's gonna realize that your feelings might have been hurt and he'll come to check in on you. You'll see."

She looked up at him. "But we've been best friends for years, and Bow's always been super observant, both tactically and emotionally. And he knows me, better than anyone else, he should have seen it right away."

Sora looked to the side and saw Adora, Donald and Goofy eyeing Princess Frosta who was on her own. "Look, I know you don't want to hear it, but we really should focus on Frosta. She's right over there all alone. We should kinda prioritize right now."

All of Sora's words went in through one ear and out the other. Only one thing stuck. "You're right! Got to prioritize!" Her arms latched onto his again as she dragged him across the dance floor. "We're gonna dance and win everyone's attention! He's gotta notice me then!"

Sora rolled his eyes. "Oh boy, we're in trouble."

"We're in trouble!" Adora cried as she watched a jealous Glimmer drag Sora away from their goal. "He was part of our only real chance at getting Princess Frosta to join us!" She turned to Donald, Goofy, and Entrapta. "Guys, what do we do? Right now she's right there all alone, and she likes you guys way more than me right now!"

"Wow, this is weird. Normally people are revolted by my appearance and behavior! This is a completely new experience for me" Entrapta almost proudly admitted it.

Goofy tapped his chin. "Hmm, well for starters, why don't we go on over there and just say howdy? That's usually a good place to start."

Donald nodded, "You know the old saying, it pays to have friends in high places."

"Friends, are you kidding me?! She hates my guts right now!"

Goofy got behind her and started pushing her forward. "Then now's a good time as any to say sorry and make up for it. You'll be making friends with her in no time!"

Donald pointed up, "Take it from us! We're the professionals in making new friends."

"Especially Sora!" Entrapta added. "His rate of successfully making new friends seems to outspeed everyone else in every category. Isn't he the best research subject ever?!"

Adora nodded, "Huh, I think I get what you're saying. Just try to be like Sora! Perfect, I've been taking notes this whole time on him!"

Donald and Goofy looked at each other and blinked. "You think that's a good idea?"

"Yeah, if anything, you should try and be more like yourself" Goofy agreed.

"I have nothing to add to this at all!" Entrapta looked straight ahead for a moment before turning around and headed off.

Adora slouched forward. "Be like myself? Great, I'm nervous again."

"Don't worry, we'll be with ya" Goofy assured her.

"Here's hoping it will be enough." They all approached the youngest Princess.

"Ouch. Ouch! OUCH!"

"Quiet! What are you even complaining about?!" Glimmer berated him as they spun around in dance.

"You keep stepping on my feet! You're not even paying attention at all!"

"What, no, shut up. You're imagining it, now keep dancing!" Glimmer wasn't looking at all to what they were doing. She was laser focused on Bow and Perfuma chatting it up with some of the party guests.

"Ow, you did it again! Pay attention Glimmer!" She paid him absolutely no mind at all. Sora let out a heavy sigh, "Oh forget this!" He then picked Glimmer, resuming their dance with her feet dangling a foot off the floor. At least for now he had no fear of being stepped on.

"Yeah, yeah, good idea. Give me the perfect bird's eye view of them!"

Sora rolled his eyes again. "Glimmer, we're supposed to be dancing and having at least a little bit of fun."

"Yeah, yeah, best date ever you, romantic you. Now shut up and hold still." Glimmer then proceeded to climb up Sora to see better over the growing crowd. Sora, realizing what she's about to do, tried to play it off and tried to turn it into a dance lift, but Glimmer swatted him away. "No, no, that's too high! Just hold still!" She then adjusted herself and plainly sat on his shoulders while spying on her targets, catching much of the attention from the other dancers.

"*Sigh* Okay, I think we're done here." Sora walked them off the dance floor and met up with Donald, Goofy, and a gloomy Adora. "We're back. Yikes, what's up with her?"

Her head just dropped further at his mentioning. Donald explained, "We tried talking with Princess Frosta, but before Adora could even finish saying hello, she called us out for trying to recruit her to the Princess Alliance."

Goofy crossed his arms and shook his head, "Ah shucks, we were only trying to make friends before anything else. She didn't have to be so cold about it." He then tapped his chin in thought, "Well, then again she is the Ice Princess after all. Makes sense, just about."

"So what? Wait for her to cool down before trying again?" Sora asked. "What do you think, Glimmer?...Glimmer? Glimmer!"

The short Princess was still sitting on his shoulders, looking across the room at Bow still. She waved him off again, "Yeah, yeah, yeah. You've swept me off my feet. How romantic. Just shut up will you? I'm trying to figure out what they're talking about!"

Sora reached up and put Glimmer down on a couch where she seamlessly adjusted herself to resume her spying. "Aaaand I think we've officially lost her." He looked to Adora, "So Adora, wanna try dancing? It'll help take your mind off of Frosta, and we can always try again later."

Adora looked up at him before sighing. "I-I don't know? We tried some of those dance moves, I wasn't the greatest, and I'm pretty sure I'm not in the mood."

Goofy held her up by the arms, "Come on, Adora. It'll be fun! They're playing a fast song, so all you need to do is get funky with it!" He then spoke to Donald, "Come on, Don, let's see if we can find Entrapta. Then we can all dance together!"

"Sure! We'll get to break out our party hats soon!" They then walked off.

"Come on, it'll be fun. I promise." Sora held a hand out for her.

She eyed it before taking it. "Okay, but I'll be holding you to it. Glimmer, you're good here?" Glimmer didn't take her eyes off of Bow or say anything. "Yeah, you're good."

"Green is so not a good color on her."

They then made their way to the dance floor. Sora started waving his arms and swaying his hips and shoulders, Adora looked at him awkwardly before starting to mimic him. This was nothing like what they tried practicing before, she did not feel ready for this.

"Come on, Adora. This is supposed to be a super casual song and dance. Do whatever you feel like doing, no one's gonna judge or care right now."

She looked around at everyone around her and saw their almost nonsensical dance moves as well, no one else was really trying to impress anyone right now either. She let out a deep breath before doing what she was told. She started moving her arms and began stepping side to side rhythmically. She wasn't the most comfortable, but she didn't exactly dislike it either.

"Yeah, there you go! You're getting it!" Sora then really let himself go with his silly moves. Adora smiled and followed along as best she could. A couple of minutes passed before they heard someone call out to them.

"Hey, there you guys are! Was wondering when we'd run into you guys!" Spinnerella greeted as she and Netossa danced their way to them, she also looked very red in the face.

"Hey, sorry about how we ended our last meeting. Things got a little out of hand" Netossa apologized.

Sora shrugged as he danced on. "No problem, sorry that happened. Although I see you're both wearing dresses" he jabbed at them.

"What can I say?!" Spinnerella slurred a little bit when she closed in to her partner and brought her in close, "I like to see more skin!"

Netossa turned all sorts of pink, "Spinny?!"

Sora laughed while Adora smiled awkwardly. "Wait, is this those inside jokes that Glimmer was on about?"

Sora waved it off, "Ah, it's nothing. Just a hot debate last week on who's gonna wear the dress and who's gonna wear the pants."

"Turns out...NO PANTS! Whooo! No pants in our household! No pants for days!" Spinnerella laughed before planting a peck under Netossa's chin. She in turn tried to push her away while blushing like mad.

"Isn't this the exact opposite of what you said earlier?" Netossa paused and began sniffing before holding on to Spinnerella's face. "Wait, I smell alcohol. Have you been drinking?! How did you even do that?! They're not serving liqueur here!"

"What?! A girl's gotta relax!" She quickly produced a large flask from between her bosoms. She bounced on her toes before trying to come in for another kiss, but Netossa stopped her.

"Just how much did you drink?!" Spinnerella shook the flask to show that it was empty before placing it back. "Oh boy, when did she do that? Uhh, just try and think before you act or say anything. Ugh, it's weird that I'm the one that has to say it now."

"You're sexy~!" she slurred. "Come o-o-o-on, I wanna dance and show those hating bitches not to mess with yoooou~. I hate having to listen to them say all sorts of things about you." She wrapped her arms around her wife and tried to dance. "I just wanna slap them in their dumb faces for making you have to work so hard."

Netossa sighed, "Oh god, this is my fault, isn't it...Sorry guys, we'll have to see you later. Gonna see if I can get some coffee in her." She took her hand before leading her away while muttering under her breath.

"No, no! We haven't shown off anything yet! At least bring Soraaaaa~! We actually like him!" They heard Spinnerella before they were too far to hear anymore.

"Sooo, that just happened." Adora was a tad more than just bewildered.

"It was weird, but I thought it was kind of cute, too" Sora commented, not too bothered by their exchange, though a bit sad because of the why. "Choose what to like and ignore the rest. That's what I do sometimes. Just think positive." They then watched Sea Hawk draw significant attention to himself with his outrageous dance moves, embarrassing an already stiff Mermista even further. "Like that, I choose to like Sea Hawk's fun and silly personality, but ignore his sometimes dumb and crazy stunts...though not to the point of letting him drown us at sea." That got a real laugh out of Adora, it helps that she thoroughly enjoyed any chance to jab at the sea captain, too. "Wanna go dance with them while we wait for Donald, Goofy and Entrapta?"

She didn't really need to think about it much, "Nah, I'm fine with just being with you. Let's also see how long it takes for the two to find and drag Entrapta away from whatever it is she's up to now." It was her turn to make Sora laugh.

He smiled before fishing through his pockets and pulled out a pair of lamp shades and placed one on Adora's head. "Party hats!" He put the other one on his head and continued dancing. Adora looked at him and the 'party hats' oddly before smiling and shrugging it off before resuming dancing as well.

They danced and had fun for a good while before their three missing friends showed up, all of them wearing 'party hats' as well.

"Hey, look who finally showed up!" Sora smiled at them.

"Ah-hyuck, sorry about that. Took us a while to find Entrapta."

"Sorry about that. I was all over the place to study the specime- I mean peers, for social scientific purposes. I then found the perfect place to observe!"

"We found her under the buffet table" Donald filled it.

"Why didn't I think of it before?! All the tiny food at my disposal while studying everyone? Brilliant! I actually got the idea from Goofy."

"Gawrsh."

"Then we saw you guys with your party hats on and thought it was right to break ours out too!" Donald cheered, "So let's boogie!"

"So this dancing and prom thing...not too bad!" Adora happily admitted.

"I'd be withholding accurate information if I didn't say that I'm actually having an enjoyable evening as well!" Entrapta's hair reached into her pocket and pulled out a...handful...hairful?...of miniature treats.

"Now that we're all together again for the most part, we should try and get some games started for the whole party!" Sora suggested.

"Party games?" Adora asked.

"Oh boy, we've got so many game ideas we wanted to bring up! Though I don't think Princess Frosty's in the mood to talk to us."

"Princess Frosta!" Donald corrected the knight.

"What did I say?"

"Hey, maybe now that we've given her a little bit of time to cool off, and maybe watching us have a little bit of fun with everyone, could have put her in a better mood?" Sora suggested.

Adora gasped, "Oh! And kids love games, right?! This could be great for us!"

Sora crossed his arms and tilted his head, "That's not what I had in mind, but yeah, that could help."

"Uh oh, where did she get off to?" Goofy tried looking around for her.

"Oh, I see her! She's right over there with those two. Guess they came in late or something" Entrapta pointed with her hair.

Adora nodded, "Alright, let's go try talking to her agaaaaahhhhh-" Descending down the stairs with Princess Frosta were Catra dressed in a purple and magenta tuxedo purposely ripped in places, and Force Captain Scorpia dressed in a tight black dress.

"Aren't those...the Horde Soldiers we saw at Salineas?" Donald asked.

Sora gasped, "Kitty!"

Adora ran off the dance floor and charged at the three, Sora, Donald and Goofy were slower at charging across the ball. "Revered Hostess, stop! These two are Force Captains actively fighting for the Horde!"

Catra smirked at her before returning to the Princess, "Revered Hostess, Princess Scorpia here was invited as per the rules of this All Princess Ball. She has just as much right to be here as any other Princess, or is there some sort of discrimination that goes in the face of the rules? Rules, by the way, I have nothing short of great respect to follow."

Adora pointed a finger at her, "You've never followed the rules!"

"Princess Adora!" Frosta's voice made the blond recoil in fear. "The rules state very clearly that all Princesses and their chosen guests are welcomed."

"Revered Hostess, please! They can't be trusted-!"

"That's enough!" Princess Frosta almost yelled at her. "You look at me and you see only a child, but I am a Princess that's worked too hard to earn respect only to throw it all away because you have a hunch that they might be up to something! You look at them and you see combative forces on one side of a war I have no part of. I look at you and your Rebellion and see the same thing. For centuries, the All-Princess Ball has been neutral ground, even during wars between Princess owned countries. I will not dishonor that legacy, so this trial will be no different, so they stay as honored guests!" she spoke with venom in her voice.

Adora took a shaky breath in, whether it was from intimidation or anger, not even she knew as she backed down from the youngest Princess. Her head snapped to the side as Catra started tsking at her, "Really Adora? I. Am. Shocked. Shocked, I tell you, that you would behave like that. I mean, we're not breaking any rules or anything. Just here to party."

Adora watched angrily as they walked away before she called out, "I know you're plotting something! From now until the second this ball is over, I'll be watching you!"

Catra snickered, "Alright, sure. Have fun as you watch me shake my tail all night long. I don't really have a problem with that." She slapped a her hand on her rear end to emphasize. She laughed again as she watched Adora's face turn red with anger. She stopped in her tracks as she looked forward at who she was faced with.

Sora stared at her with large blue eyes, "Oh my gosh, you are adorable! Look at you with your wittle cat ears and your cat tail!"

Catra jumped back and looked defensive in case he came in for another hug like their last meeting. Scorpia on the other hand stood right by him and gawked all the same. "Oh my gosh, yes, right?! She even makes all sorts of cat noises, too, she even purrs sometimes!"

Catra looked horrified, "I do NOT purr!"

Adora smirked darkly from behind, "I've heard you purr plenty of times when I was in the Horde. Almost all the time when we were together."

She growled and hissed at her, "I did not purr when I was with you!"

"Oh my god, she really does make cat noises!" Sora gushed. "I just want to pick her up and hug her!"

"Yes! Yes! Same here all the time!" Scorpia agreed, "Unfortunately she is too quick with the claws. Which sucks for me, cause I'm a hugger."

Sora put his hands on his hips and shook his head, "Hey, same here. I swear, there aren't enough huggers in the world, and not nearly enough people who can appreciate them!"

Scorpia smiled before extending a claw to him. "Hi there, I don't think we've properly been introduced. Scorpia, I'm a Force Captain with the Horde. You might remember me from when you kicked our butts at Salineas."

"Don't admit that!" Catra shouted.

"Nice to meet you!" Sora gladly shook her claw. "I think I remember you actually. Anyway, I'm Sora, those there are Donald and Goofy." His two friends stood a bit behind them. From the beginning they looked aggressive and ready for anything, but quickly fell perplexed and more friendly as the exchange continued on. They approached.

"Hiya, nice to meet you," Goofy shook her claw, "Wasn't too sure what I was expecting, but glad you're just a big ol' softie like Sora here!"

She laughed and waved it off, "Oh yeah, me, I'm a total softie. You would be surprised by how much trouble that gets me in the Horde, but it always works out in the end."

Donald held the air of caution around him, but shook her claw still, "I don't know about this...alright, fine. I'm keeping an eye on you though. I still haven't forgotten what happened in Salineas."

"Sure" she shrugged, "You can watch as I go over to that table there and get an eyeful of whatever the heck those people are eating, cause I've never seen anything so bright and yummy looking before!" She then rushed over to the buffet table.

Adora narrowed her eyes, "Guys, keep an eye on her. I'll be watching Catra."

The cat girl shrugged, "Whatever, see ya Adora." Before she could walk away, Sora was on her.

"Wait, wait! Before you go...can I try petting your ears? They are sooo cute and fluffy! They look soft, I bet they're soft!"

Adora snickered as Catra jumped away. "What?! No! Get away from me, you freak!"

Sora was already closing in the distance. "Come on, pretty please?! Just a quick touch?!"

"No! Get the hell away from me!"

Ice barriers rose from the ground and formed around the two of them. "Do we still have a problem here?!" Frosta was losing her patience again.

"This freak won't leave me alone!" Catra complained loudly.

Frosta looked at Sora's direction. "I can't help it! Look at her ears and tail! Look at how cute and fluffy they are, don't you just want to go over to her and give her a hug?!"

She took a deep breath before looking more calm. "I understand that you aren't showing any malicious intent, but do recognize that your actions are making her uncomfortable. I will respectfully ask you once to not touch her without proper consent. Am I understood?"

Sora's head drooped, "Yes ma'am." The ice barriers lowered and Catra walked away in a huff with Adora following her. She turned around before giving Sora a wink before focusing on her personal mission. Sora glanced at Frosta, "I'm not crazy for thinking of how adorable she was, am I?"

She struggled to keep a straight face as her face began to turn pink. "She...was really, really cute" she admitted. "I always wanted a pet cat or dog, but I was never allowed."

"But did you see what her tail did when you raised those ice walls?"

Frosta smiled, "Yeah, she totally jumped and looked like a kitty. Her tail fluffed up and everything!"

"Awesome! Glad I wasn't going crazy for thinking all this! You know, that Scorpia person feels the same thing really, so this makes me feel a lot better." The two were all smiles for a moment before Sora tried to ask a question. "Hey Princess Frosta, I've got a question I gotta ask you."

Her smile dropped in an instant. "If it's about me and my kingdom joining your Rebellion, your rude, blond friend already tried to approach me, and the answer was, and still is, no."

"That wasn't what I was gonna ask you" Sora started, "First off, Adora really isn't rude. She can be kind of blunt and unthinking sometimes, but never rude. She can actually get really shy and scared of people."

"Really, that brute?"

"Oh yeah, and her parting ways with her She-Ra Sword of Protection was kind of a big deal for her. A lot of times when we're off traveling and fighting off the Horde, she likes to stay as She-Ra for as long as possible because I think it gives her the feeling of security, and that people would prefer her that way than her regular self. She tries so hard not to disappoint anyone and tries to be someone she's not, I don't know why she has such a poor image of herself, I think she's pretty awesome as she is! Maybe she tries too hard a lot of times, but still, she tries to be the best person she can be."

Frosta crossed her arms and pouted, "Okay, fine. Maybe I was too harsh on her when we first met, but she still accused another Princess and her guest of evil doing!" she pointed out in a childish manner.

"I mean, we do fight these guys a lot, and we've seen them do some pretty bad things. Like Princess Perfuma and Plumeria was completely neutral and pacifists, but our first mission together with the Rebellion was to help them out with supplies because the Horde were literally pumping poison into the ground, killing all of their farms and almost their runestone." Frosta looked uncomfortable as she shuffled her feet. "And then they attacked Salineas who was also neutral, making everyone flee and abandon the country, including Mermista's parents. They left her completely on her own as she did all she could to protect what was left, and even got shot and almost killed. If it wasn't for my friend Donald and his healing magic being there for her, she would have died." Frosta cringed at that before looking away. "And Adora grew up and was best friends with Catra, they know just about everything about each other. So if Adora thinks that Catra came here to try something, she's probably right. You see two sides of a war, but I think there's clearly a bad guy here."

Frosta glared, "I will not be the first to break tradition in who knows how many centuries by creating hostility!"

Sora held his hands up defensively, "Whoa, easy there! I'm not telling you to do anything! Just do, you know, what most politicians normally do, play on both sides. Follow the rules while at the same time be prepared to do the opposite or whatever. Adora and I are gonna keep an eye on them, and we won't do anything if they won't, so there's that to help keep things in check or something. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to keep a couple of guards to watch out for them too?"

Frosta crossed her arms again, "Fine then, I'll have a couple of guards watch them from a distance if that will keep things from falling apart! Happy?!"

Sora tilted his head side to side, "Um, a little actually. This means that you're taking this seriously and that you believe us at least a little."

Princess Frosta turned a little pink, "Yeah, well, it doesn't! It just means I know how to take at least some precautions. I'm not an idiot!"

"I never thought that!"

"Whatever! If this didn't have anything to do with what you wanted to ask me, what did you even want anyway?!"

Sora smiled brightly at that.

Adora growled to herself for the upteenth time now, everywhere she followed Catra, she'd just have some stupid prank prepared to screw with her. Her nerves were already fried from the start of the ball, but now she was afraid she was gonna overreact and do something she'd regret soon...and now she's lost track of her!

She felt a tapping on her shoulder, "Hey Adora."

Instantly she spun on her heels and grabbed her from behind, "Got you now, Catra!" Entrapta let out a frightful yelp as Adora held her off her feet. She instantly recognized her mistake before putting her back down. "Oh no, Entrapta, I am so sorry! I didn't mean to scare you like that."

She waved it off, "Nah, it's okay. Sorry I startled you, to be more accurate. You were digging through the trash and I wanted to see if I could assist you in collecting whatever samples you're after. Honestly, I thought I was the only Princess around that was more than willing to go dumpster diving."

Adora sighed before showing her the note Catra left for her, "No, Catra tricked me and left this, making me think it was a bomb or something...Wait a second, Entrapta, do you think you can repurpose your scanner pad into looking for weapons and explosives?!"

"Yes!"

"Perfect! How long do you think it will take?"

"...How long will what take?"

Adora stared blankly at the Genius Princess for a minute, "To repurpose your scanner pad!"

"Oooooh, yeah, that's not gonna happen. Don't you remember, they made me leave everything with the weapons, but they did let me keep my recorder!" She then showed off said recorder.

"What, why?!"

"My tech sort of has a history of going haywire and sometimes becoming evil."

Her shoulders dropped at that. It did make too much sense though. "Great, I can't keep following her like this though."

"That doesn't sound great at all."

"...The 'great' was sarcastic."

"Oh yeah, that would make more sense. Well, if you're having trouble, maybe you should ask Sora, Donald and Goofy for help. They seem to have a good handle already on that Horde Princess." She then pointed.

Adora looked and there they were in their party hats, them and at least half of everyone partying were in a conga line and having the time of the evening. "What the hell are they doing?!"

"I believe some cultures refer to this as 'dancing.'" There was no sarcasm in her voice.

Adora face palmed, "Nevermind, let's go!" She grabbed Entrapta's hand and approached the line, but before they could say or do anything, hands and claws were already pulling them in line.

"Oh, hey former Force Captain! I gotta tell ya, I am having a complete blast!" She looked up at the tall and imposing Scorpia in a party hat and with pastries smeared across her lips. "I seriously just went at it at the buffet table, and I swear, I didn't know what half of the things I crammed in my mouth were and frankly I really didn't care! Best food ever! Why can't they serve stuff like this in the Horde?"

"So hey, um, Adora right? You're not doing the dance right, you're supposed to do what the person in front of you does. Here, it's real simple, you'll get it, I'm sure!" She then sang along the tone before kicking a leg out alongside everybody else. "See? Like that. By the way, love your party hat!"

Adora growled as she was made to play along, and her eye twitched as she watched herself about to pass a waiting Catra.

"Hey Adora~."

She smirked to herself as her hand shot out like a viper and pulled Catra in the same fashion as she was. She took particular joy in listening to her yelp like a cat.

"Hey Catra~, got you now!"

"Oh my gosh, Catra, have you tried the food yet?! You've got to try it, it is too good to not try and it will change your life forever!"

Catra craned her neck back, "Scorpia, what the hell are you wearing?!"

"Oh, this thing? Sora gave me one of his backup party hats! Aren't they awesome?! He set up this whole dance up too, so fun! We should see about getting him to join the Horde!"

"No, absolutely not!" Both Adora and Catra yelled before glaring at each other.

"Seriously, by all means, keep that annoying freak with you. The further he is away from me, the better."

"Are you kidding me?! He'll easily be the best thing to come into your life! Who knows, maybe he can help you find whatever good you've got left in there" Adora teased.

"Whelp, agreeing on the idea, not the reasoning, that Sora would totally be awesome to have around!" Scorpia hopped with joy.

"Not happening!" they shouted again.

The music then died down before Sora's voice called out "Alright everyone, that ends our fantastic conga line, and you've all been wonderful!"

Goofy's voice then called out, "And just here in a minute, we'll have another good ol' time with our limbo contest. Line up if you're interested."

"Our revered hostess has already agreed to have a couple prizes ready for the winner, as extra incentive!" Donald ended.

Scorpia clapped her claws together, "Oh man, I have no idea what any of that meant, but I am all over it!" She then ran up to the three.

Catra eyed her oddly before taking her chance to escape. Adora gawked at her for a moment before she stomped in frustration. She then did her best to keep up with her again.

"All right everyone, let's give it up to our limbo champion, Princess Entrapta!" Sora announced to the room who cheered. The Genius Princess was the clear and easy winner, using her powerful pigtails to easily lift herself at any angle and deliver her under the stick each time.

Scorpia stepped forward and picked up the winner in a hug, "Oh man, that was so amazing, what you and your hair can do! I don't- I don't even care if I lost in the second round, this was so fun!" Entrapta looked not at all bothered, but a couple of guards approached and tapped the Horde Princess on the shoulder before whispering in her ear. She looked a little sad before putting the girl down and picking up all three Sora, Donald, and Goofy in a hug. "Aw man, this was the best evening I've had in so long! I just want to hug you guys one more time!"

"Hey, this was fun!" Sora agreed, "But you're not in trouble are you?"

"Nah, nothing I can't square away. Just got to follow those guards for a bit and I'll be back" she reassured them.

The trio watched her follow the guards out of the ballroom. They thought about following before the host of the gala stepped forward and spoke, "At her Highness's request, and due to the simple nature of it, the grand prize will be swapped out from a magnificent ice statue enchanted to never melt...to a year's worth miniature pastries to be sent to Brightmoon Castle." Frosta actually scratched her head at that. "Now, with the games concluded at this time, I now announce the All Princess Ball's first official dance."

In moments, everyone was on the dance floor and making their ways to their partners. "Oh boy, do we follow Scorpia?"

Donald decided to wave it off. "She's with the guards and she seems pretty harmless. I think the only reason they're here is so Catra can bother Adora."

"And if some ruckus starts to go down, I'm sure we'll hear about it and be all over it" Goofy affirmed.

Sora put his arms behind his head, "Yeah, guess that makes sense. Let's find Adora and Glimmer before they start freaking out."

"I think I see Adora right over there" Donald pointed to her on the dance floor, looking around confused.

"I'll go get her." Sora walked over to her and tapped her on the shoulders. She jumped and turned around looking angry. "Whoa! Easy, it's just me. You okay?"

"Wha-what? Sora? Ugh, I don't know how much more of this I can take. Every other direction I look, I see Catra doing something and it keeps turning out to be one prank after another. I think I'm gonna be sick from the stress soon!"

Sora gave her a small smile. "Hey, take it easy. We've been watching Scorpia all night, and we're thinking the only reason she's here is so Catra can be her plus one to screw with you...and it looks like it's working. Although it might make sense that they're trying to stop us from getting Frosta on our side, cause that seems to be working too. I might not be so sure if they have bigger plans than that, I mean, I don't think they're gonna sneak a siege weapon up a mountain and take everyone by surprise."

Adora moaned before slouching forward, "So what, actually ignore her? The Horde's Force Captains that's managed to get inside here?"

Sora shrugged, "Well, I did talk to Frosta, and managed to convince her to keep some guards watching them. Got her to believe that your opinion does hold some merit."

Adora let out a dry laugh, "What, really?"

"Yeah, give it some time, I'm sure the two of you could warm up to each other."

Adora smirked, "I see what you did there, warm up? Come on, it's not that clever."

Sora blinked before laughing, "Wow, that pun was totally unintentional!" The room got darker before colorful lights and music started playing. "Well, since we're here, let's dance?"

Adora smiled, "Yeah, let's. Might as well put those lessons to use." She put her arms around Sora.

Sora blushed and was thankful that it was dark and colorful enough in the ballroom to not be seen. He put his arms around her as well. On the note, everyone began to move at once.

The two danced in silence for a few minutes, not too sure what to say, or if they were even supposed to say anything during this. Adora even asked this in a whisper "So no one is talking at all, are we not supposed to?"

Sora shrugged, "I haven't gotten a clue. The Queen never mentioned this part." The two looked around and noticed that no one was looking in their direction or looked bothered by them chatting. "I think we're fine talking."

"Hmm, yeah."

"What's wrong? Still thinking about Catra?"

"Well, a little bit," Sora lifted her and spun her before setting her back down. "It's just that this is nice and all, but I think I liked the other dancing better."

Sora smiled and laughed, "I know right?! This music is so boring and stiff."

Adora laughed as well, "I know they're not, but it feels like all eyes are on me, and if I so much as bend my back by even a little bit, that I'm gonna get in so much trouble or something!"

Sora agreed, "Yeah, and, like, with the other dance, you'd feel like nobody cares enough to look up and watch someone else. 'I'm having too much fun' for that, right?!"

"Oh yeah."

Sora noticed how everyone's partners were closed in with each other and realized that too much distance was created between the two. He immediately pulled Adora closer.

"Whoa, what?!"

"Sorry!" Sora panicked before blushing, "I was told that if you think you're close enough to your partner, get even closer." He then gestured to everyone else, who were all very close to their partners.

"Yeah, right." She wrapped her arms around him more tightly before bringing herself closer.

They danced for a minute longer before they had to spread apart, that's when Sora suddenly found himself pulled away and spun into Perfuma.

"Oh Sora, there you are. I haven't seen you in awhile." Perfuma looked around the room as they closed in together and danced rather seamlessly. "You haven't seen Bow, have you? It's been awhile and I'm getting a tad worried about him."

"Uh, no, I haven't seen him since the limbo contest from earlier" Sora answered. He looked around as well before seeing the cause for his sudden change in partner, Catra. She was now dancing and pulling Adora close to her while giving him a smug look. "Huh, that just happened."

"I mean, Bow isn't the kind of boy that just walks away from a date without saying anything, right?" Perfuma continued.

"Bow? No, definitely not." Sora answered, now eyeing Catra suspiciously. "Did he drink a lot of punch? I swear, that guy cannot hold his bladder in."

Perfuma laughed, "Oh no, we were having so much fun, that we forgot to hit the buffet much. We were actually just joking about that, before I lost him that is." She hummed to herself, "Last I saw him, it looked like he was following that Horde Princess as she was being escorted by those guards earlier. I figured he was just trying to be gentlemanly by making sure everything was okay with her. Isn't he just the sweetest?"

"Hmm, nope, that would be Goofy, but Bow is up there, I'm sure." Sora thought a bit about it before looking at Catra, "Horde Princess, huh?" Sora bided his time as he led himself and Perfuma closer to Adora and Catra, and on their next spread apart, Sora took his chance and cut in between the two. "Hey Catra~" Sora greeted.

Catra mewed before hissing at him, "What the hell?!"

Sora was momentarily distracted by the ears on her head folding back before flapping a little, "My god, they're so cuuuuuute" he said under his breath before shaking his head. "Nah, don't worry, I'm not going to do anything else to you now" he said after the look she gave him a look, "But next time I can't guarantee nothin' though." She grimaced at that while he laughed. "So I've got a question for you."

Catra gave him a devilish smirk as she pulled herself extremely close to him, enough to make his heart skip a beat. She brought her lips almost right up to his and asked, "Is it about that archer friend of yours, Bow?"

Sora's right eye twitched, but somehow managed to keep a straight face. "No actually, I...wanted to ask if you shampooed or conditioned your ears and tail? Because they look so good, and they smell so pretty, is all."

Catra blinked before giving him the 'are you for real' look, "Wait, what?"

"Yeah, I mean, I noticed you have fur in places, and I'm guessing that takes a bit of time to clean up. Wait a second, do you lick yourself? Adora mentioned more than once that you lick yourself clean a bunch."

Catra looked like she was completely taken off guard, "I, um, yeah, I do."

"By the way, you look fantastic in that tux. Is it a rental, or do you own it? Cause I'm thinking having the hole in the butt for your tail is gonna run you quite a bit when you return it. I'm also wondering what you would look like in a dress, because A, that would have saved you that trouble, and B, I'm thinking how pretty and cute you'd be."

Catra was completely flabbergasted and started blushing, "I, what, but, then, I'm, you, huh?! What is wrong with you?! You do know you're my enemy, right?!"

Sora nodded, "Yeah, I think I got the memo. Hold on to that thought, will ya?" The two broke apart and he cutted in with Adora, who was with Perfuma, and started dancing with her. "Hey Adora."

She did not look well, "Hey Sora, this Catra thing is killing me! I seriously think I'm gonna snap soon!"

"Yeah, about that." Sora brought her in all the way and whispered in her ear, "So don't panic, but the Horde may have kidnapped Bow."

She stopped in her tracks, "What!" she almost shouted. The immediate dancers around them pause in their dance to watch.

"Now hold on a moment, she could just be screwing with us again. Think about it, you've been with Catra this whole time, and last we saw Scorpia, she was being escorted by some of the guards. That's also the last Perfuma saw Bow when he followed them...wait a second...where's Glimmer?"

The two were instantly looking around for the infatuated girl before going to where they last they saw her. Donald, Goofy and Entrapta were following them, noticing the commotion.

"I still don't see her!" Adora felt her heart racing, "Where is she?!"

"What's wrong?" Donald asked urgently.

"Glimmer and Bow are missing, Catra hinted that they might have had a hand in this! Now let's take a moment to think before we do anything-" Sora began, but was interrupted as Adora ran and tackled Catra, who had smugly followed them to watch. "-we might regret. Oh boy."

"Where are they?!"

Catra openly laughed, "Oh don't worry, wherever they are, nothing permanent is gonna stick."

Adora swiftly picked her up by the collar and held her, "I swear, if you don't tell me where they are in the next five seconds, I am going to-!" She didn't get to finish her threat as a pillar of ice shot between them and separated the two. More ice grew around Adora to the point that she was completely encaged and immobile.

Princess Frosta stepped forward. "The All-Princess Ball is a ceremony of peace and unity where violence is strictly forbidden!"

"Revered Hostess, you don't understand! Please, she's got th-!" Adora tried to explain, but the young girl wasn't going to have any of it.

"No! I understand perfectly! As hostess, in accordance with the rules set down over the centuries, I hereby revoke your invitation!"

"That doesn't sound so bad" Donald started.

"You are exiled and forbidden to ever return to the Kingdom of Snow! Leave now!"

"Nevermind."

Sora ran forward and defended Adora. "No! You've got it all wrong! Catra has been making threats to Adora all night, and now Glimmer and Bow are missing!"

Frosta pointed angrily at him, "And as I said before, no acts can be taken on mere suspicion! Now I suggest you calm down before I exile you as well!"

Donald and Goofy ran up and joined him. "That's not fair! Our friends might be in trouble!"

Goofy nodded, "That's right! You've been mean to Adora all night long without ever giving her a chance while you ignored the Horde!"

Adora struggled some more with her bounds, "Please, Princess Frosta, our friends only went missing after they followed your guards took Scorpia away! She must have attacked them with her tail, please!"

Frosta looked infuriated at that. "You now try to insinuate myself in taking part in such wrongdoings?! I never order my guards to take away anyone tonight!"

Mermista followed by Sea Hawk ran to their side. "That's, like, so not true! I saw Scorpia being taken away by two of your guards!"

Perfuma joined them as well. "Yes, and Bow insisted on following them to make sure everything was alright! That was the last I saw of him!"

Entrapta also added matter of factly, "Yes, and with how jealous and obsessive Glimmer was about Bow, it's highly probable that she followed after him and shared his fate, whatever it was."

"Jealous?" Perfuma uttered under her breath.

Frosta then childishly stomped on the floor and yelled "No! I did NOT order my guards to take her away! I also know for a fact that you all are part of the Princess Alliance together, so don't think ganging up on me is going to change-!"

BOOOOOOOOOOM!

Multiple explosions wracked the ice castle with smoke beginning to waff in through the outer doors. Everyone began to scream and panic as two more explosions were set off in the ballroom itself.

Princess Frosta ran to the center of the ballroom, "Everyone, remain calm! I demand you all to calm down at once!" All the guests continued to scream and scrambled towards the exits. "Everyone stop this now! Calm down or I'll-" she was interrupted by a pair of her guards muttered something to her before ushering her away to the upper levels.

"This is your fault, too, you jerk!" Mermista yelled after her with an angry fist.

Sora instantly summoned his Keyblade and smashed the ice around Adora apart. "Catra's gone, and Glimmer and Bow are still missing!" He pulled Adora up on her feet.

"We need to go after Catra and find them now!"

"Right!" everyone but Goofy agreed. He was still eyeing where Princess Frosta disappeared to.

"Why did Princess Frosty go up to the upper levels? Isn't that where the explosions are coming from?"

"Who cares?!" Mermista was quick to dismiss, in her opinion, the arrogant little Princess.

"What could be important up there?" Donald still had to ask.

Perfuma gasped loudly, "Frosta is a Rune Princess! The Horde's targeting her Runestone as they did with mine!" That took everyone back. This definitely changes the plan.

"Okay, new plan: Sora, Donald, Goofy, you guys go after Frosta! Everyone else will go after Catra and our friends!"

"Got it!" With that, the three Half-Pints split off and ran after the youngest Princess to the highest level of the castle.

On their way of catching up with Princess Frosta, the trio passed by several knocked out guards and armored Horde Soldiers and were feeling a little worried.

"That sure is a lot of soldiers, it's practically a mini invasion" Sore noted.

"I sure do hope that everyone makes it out of here safely" Goofy said.

"What about us?!" Donald demanded, "Goofy and I don't have our weapons and we're heading into battle! My magic will be limited, but Goofy will have no way to attack or defend himself!"

"We'll just have to do our best! It'll work out, you'll see!" Goofy assured.

Following the trail of bodies, the three made it to a large chamber where a large stellate made of ice floated and was currently being fired upon before an ice spike jutted out of the floor and protected it. Horde Soldiers were pouring in through a huge hole in the wall where they were bringing in heavy weapons and cannon, with only Frosta and one standing guard left to defend it.

"Princess Frosta, we're here to help!" Sora slid next to her. Donald and Goofy crouched near them with their hands over their head as gunfire whizzed passed them.

"You three?! I don't have time to protect you all! Leave now!"

"Aren't you listening?! We're here to help!" Donald shouted sternly at her before pointing a finger up, "Thunder!" Several bolts of lightning struck down at the soldiers and made them think twice before pushing anymore forward.

Sora helped by summoning his Keyblade and pointed at them, "Fire!" A ball of fire threw several of them back and started a small retreat.

Princess Frosta looked at him and his weapon with starry eyes for a moment before shaking it off, she then scoffed, "Alright then, make yourselves useful and help me protect the Fractal Flake! Don't expect me to protect you all, though!"

"Donald, see what you can do from here with your magic! Goofy, try to figure out what you can do without your shield! I'm going out there!" Sora then leapt from cover and ran at the nearest Horde Soldiers and attacked.

Frosta, Donald, and Goofy covered their heads as a cannon blast shot right over them. The Princess peaked her head over before throwing her arms out and causing more ice to grow around the enemy. "You, Goofy, what kind of weapon do you use?!"

"Oh! Um, I use a small, round shield that I throw and bash my enemies with-"

Before he could even finish explaining, Frosta put her hands together and an icy shield formed. "Is this about right?"

"Gawrsh, that's too small for me, maybe a bit bigger?" She quickly complied and made the shield grow much bigger. "There! That looks just about right!" He accepted the shield and got ready.

"Can you make me a wand or staff for me to focus my magic with?" Donald asked. Before he got his answer, there was a large explosion. Next thing anyone knew was Sora crashing down hard next to them, the first thing they also noticed was that his socks and shoes were gone.

"Ouch! That is one big cannon they just brought in!"

The other three, peeking over, saw the Horde Soldiers bring in a new weapon that looked similar to what they faced in Salineas, and they had it pointed right at the Runestone! Goofy spotted the operator priming the weapon to fire. "Not on my watch!" He spun his new shield on his finger before throwing it out, landing a direct hit on his head.

"Good work, Goofy! Don't let them fire that cannon!" Donald turned and faced Frosta, "Wand or staff, now!" Frosta gulped before nodding and made a simple, short ice staff topped with a snowflake and then handed it over. "Alright, let's go get them!" He, followed by Goofy, ran forward.

Sora put a hand on the young Princess's shoulder. "Stay here where it's safe, we'll take care of this!" He then ran after his friends into battle, jumping and flinching for a moment as his now bare feet touched the icy surface before powering through.

Faced against the Three Half-Pints were dozens of soldiers and bots, which they've now had plenty of practice against, only issue was the few dozens more waiting outside to enter AND they had to make sure that cannon doesn't fire. The three got to work.

Adora finally laid her sights on Catra after the fourteenth turn she had to make and ran after her. She and everyone else had to split up as more and more hallways and corridors made themselves known, but it seems fate deemed it that she of all people was the one to catch up to her once close friend. Her pursuit of her ended with them stopping on the freezing roof of the castle. "Catra, stop! There's no place left to run to!"

For the first time, Catra actually complied to her shouting. She turned around and said "Hey Adora~"

"Hey yourself! What did you do with Glimmer and Bow?! Why are you doing all this?! Don't you understand how many people you're hurting?! This isn't a game!"

She responded with a snort, "Please, you think that I'm playing a game here? Time to grow up, Adora. This is war, and I'm ready and willing to do whatever it takes, are you?!"

"Where are Glimmer and Bow?!" Adora yelled.

Catra smirked, "Why don't you try and force the answer out of me?"

Adora growled before jumping at her with a shout, but Catra was always far more nimble than her, and easily side-stepped everything Adora tried to throw at her. She let out a laugh, "You hanging out with your new friends isn't doing you any favors! I've never seen you move around so sloppily before!" She ducked under a punch and then invaded her personal space, getting real close to Adora, "Let me guess, too busy playing games with that spiky haired freak? He seems the type to goof off."

Adora roared and she tried to roundhouse kick her, but missed, "First off, you're lucky I'm in this dress! Second, you don't know the first thing about any of them! And Sora of all people made me stronger than before, so don't you badmouth him or any of my friends!" She tried punching her again, but still missed.

Catra glared at her, "You know, I used to be your friend. You used to try and defend me like that too!"

She glared back, "And I begged you to come with me!"

"They are the enemy!"

"Enemy of the Horde, the bad guys in all this!"

"I'm done talking about this! You're the one who left me behind!" Catra rushed in with a strike, but Adora was the one who dodged this time. However, it was only after the evasion that both realized that Catra was already about to go over the edge. She could feel her stomach about to move upwards, but felt a familiar arm around her. She looked to see Adora holding her in place.

Adora pulled her in, "Catra, stop this, please." The castle shook once more, and caused the ice under their feet to break apart, sending them over the edge. They both screamed, but Adora was able to think fast and pulled out her long, metal hairpin before stabbing it into the already fragile ice wall, catching herself and soon Catra.

"Catra! Hang on, I can get us out of this!" She looked around desperately for any sort of means to escape the situation.

Slowly, but surely, Catra began to darkly chuckle to herself, becoming louder and louder with each laughter before taking in a deep breath. "Oh Adora, stupid, foolish Adora. Who said I want you to?" She let go of Adora's hand before pushing her feet off the wall, loosening herself from her grip.

"No!" Adora watched her fall further below before disappearing behind a thick fog, but her shadow remained before growing bigger. It soon became apparent that a Horde gunship was sitting in wait. She saw Catra jump in a hatch before the gunship leveled with her, inside the cockpit, she saw Catra, Scorpia, Lonnie and Kyle, but worse yet, she saw an unconscious Glimmer and Bow tied up, along with She-Ra's sword. Her jaw dropped in shock before she was forced to watch them fly off. She couldn't even muster the will to shout after them.

"Man, do these guys get paid hourly or salary?! Either way, they'd better have good health coverage after this!" Sora exclaimed as he picked up and threw another soldier out the castle's huge battle wound, but it seems that with each one they took down, another three would take their place, and it was quickly becoming exhausting.

An explosion sounded before a Horde gunship flew in through the now bigger hole. "You're the ones who are gonna need good health insurance after this!" a rough, feminine voice yelled through the intercom.

"Guess they heard me?"

Goofy shook his fist at them, "We got excellent health coverage, his name's Donald!" Said duck was about to glare at him, but the gunship began to open fire on them, making them scramble for cover.

Huddled next to the Princess of Snow, Sora stated "So yeah, they have a ship with lots of big guns! Anyone have an idea?!"

Donald quickly peeked over before casting "Thunder!" Three bolts of lightning struck the ship, but it seemed mostly unaffected by it. "Well that didn't work."

Frosta growled loudly before shouting, "That it! I've had enough of everyone trying to barge into my home unannounced with guns and cannons! I want them gone, Gone, GONE!" She and the icy Runestone began to glow before she charged on out and sent out several ice pillars extended out and knocked several off their feet before an ice spike grew out and stabbed the underside of the ship, breaking off the cannon mounted underneath. A small orb of light shot from the explosive girl and the Frackle Flake before flying right into Sora. He glowed for a short moment.

"Whoa! Did you guys see that?! That was SO cool!" Sora yelled before pointing his Keyblade, "Blizzard!" he shot a bolt of ice at exploded at the enemy.

"I'm wondering where this was before?!" Donald shouted while watching the girl throw a tantrum before following after her.

"Back we go!" Goofy ran after him as well. Together with the now empowered Princess, the four were able to repel everyone out of the castle including driving the gunship away. All that was left was the cannon and less than a dozen soldiers and bots.

"Give up now, or the beating I'll give you all will be even more painful than the one I'll give if you do surrendered!" Frosta demanded.

The Horde Soldiers looked to each other for a moment before one asked "So wait, you're saying that no matter what, you'll beat us up in the end?"

"Yes, but it'll be more painful if you don't give up!"

Another soldier commented "That still doesn't sound like a good incentive!"

"I know, talk about being ironic."

"How is that ironic?!" the other soldier demanded.

"What do you mean 'how is that ironic?!'" the first soldier mocked, "Didn't you hear from the listening devices how she was 'this is a gathering of peace' this, or 'violence will NOT be tolerated' that?!"

"Oh yeaah."

Sora, Donald and Goofy did turn their heads and look at the small Princess, who looked back defiantly, "What?!"

"I mean, not that I want to agree with the bad guys, but they're kind of right." Donald and Goofy nodded their heads in agreement.

"WHAT?!"

"Well, that was what ya were preachin' before" Goofy started.

Donald continued, "And now you're wailing on these guys with your ice magic like there's no tomorrow. Even threatening to beat them up if they surrender still."

Frosta jumped up and down, stomping childishly again, "Stop agreeing with the invaders! They are attacking my home and country, I can do whatever I want to!"

Sora dismissed his weapon before crossing his arms, "But you were mean to Adora because you didn't want to believe her that the Horde were up to no good. Now that the tables are turned, it's fine for you to attack them all on sight?"

Princess Frosta pointed at him, her finger almost being able to reach his nose, "This is completely different!" One of the soldiers began to slowly make his way to the cannon still pointed at the Fractal Flake, and started priming it to fire.

"Oh yeah?! How?!" Sora challenged.

"They're openly attacking!"

"Just like how they've openly attacked, like, five other countries?!"

Donald waddled up to him before smacking him on his bare foot with his ice staff. "OWWWW! Donald?! What the heck was that for?!" He and Frosta's eyes followed where the wizard's finger was pointing at, and blinked once, twice, thrice at how the soldiers were trying to get back to work without their notice.

"THIS ISN'T OVER YET!" they both yelled at each other before charging back into the fight. In less than a minute, the fight was over and the last soldier was beaten down.

The Ice Princess slid on her knees before pumping both of her fists in the air, "Yeah! We totally mopped the place with them! Who's awesome?! We're awesome! Whoo-hoo!"

"Ah-hyuck, ho-ho-ho-hoy! Looks like no matter how grownup she tries to act, she's still a kid after all."

Sora put his hands behind his head, but still grumbled, "Still caused us and Adora problems."

"Ah shucks, Sora, it's over. Maybe it's better to just let it go?"

"Let it go?"

"Let it go."

Sora shrugged, "I guess her coldness didn't bother me anyway."

"Everyone over here now!" Donald called out urgently by the cannon. Everyone quickly gathered around him as he fiddled with the controls. "There's a timer counting down here! I think the cannon is set to fire in less than a minute!"

"Can't you shut it down?!" Frosta asked.

"I'm trying, but I don't know how to operate this!"

Sora, Frosta and Goofy leaned over the magician and looked over the controls, none of them could make heads or tails out of it either.

"Gawrsh, what do we do now?!" Goofy cried out.

Sora pulled at his hair, "I don't know!"

Donald looked around before coming up with an idea, "We get it out of here the same way they got it in here!" he pointed at the huge hole in the wall.

"Right, let's do it!" Together the three Half-Pints ran to the end of it and started pushing at the heavy machine as hard as they could. Princess Frosta ran to the side and started making the icy floor as smooth as possible to make it easier for the three. Soon, the three finally pushed the cannon to the hole and over the edge, they watched it tumble far away down the cliff.

"We did it!" the four cheered.

A distant boom sounded off before slightly shaking the castle before it calmed down. They all looked around before Sora gave a thumbs up, "I think we're good!" There was a loud crack before the ice around the hole gave way and sent the three screaming down the snowy cliffs. The last thing Frosta heard from them as she ran to the edge was Goofy's trademark howling.

"Oh crap! Guards! Guards! I need a search party immediately at the south side of the castle! Guards! Anyone?!" She could still hear the three shouting as they tumbled further and further away. Though far off in the distance, one might have heard Goofy yell out 'Language!'

Sora, Donald, and Goofy were brought back into the castle shivering. Their skins were blue and bits of icicles still hung off them as the guards sat them down with the defeated looking Princess Alliance.

"H-h-h-how did it go on your end?" Sora struggled to get out. The first answer he got was Perfuma climbing onto his lap and hugged him as she cried.

"G-gawrsh! W-where's Bow to cheer you u-up?"

Donald scanned the room and noticed someone else not present, "W-w-wait, where's Glimmer?"

Sora looked at Adora, who had her hands to her face while leaning forward on her lap. "Ad-dora, what happened?"

She shook her head and barely got out "Catra, she got Glimmer and Bow, and she took She-Ra's sword, too. What are we gonna do? What are we gonna do without them? What about Glimmer's mom gonna say when we tell her?"

The Half-Pint Trio were almost dumbfounded, "Oh-no."

A/N: Hey everyone, thank you all for being patient with me trying to get this update out. As you can imagine, times have been tough with the pandemic, and it's affected me too. Not that I want to try to rant and complain, but I unfortunately lost my job as business started closing down, and my venture into finding other work or even trying to further my education haven't been great. Fortunately I have a good amount in my savings to help carry me through, so you'd think I'd have way more time to work on this fanfic? Sadly, being cooped up in the house for days on end leaves you feeling less than inspired, and for that, I'm really sorry to everyone. I'm gonna try to be more active with the story and get another update out there.

On one last note, I did find it a tad demoralizing that I didn't get much reviews or responses from the last chapter for the first few weeks, so to help fix that, be sure to leave reviews for this chapter! I truly can't express how much they push me to write more when I read some of your comments, so here's to hearing you soon! Happy reading!
