Aang and Katara had flown with Appa to the outskirts of the forest. Appa landed and they got off of his back. Momo tried to jump on Aang's shoulder but Aang stopped him motioning with his hand for him to stay with Appa.

"You two take care of each other. We'll be back soon wait for us" Aang said in the sweetest tone he could. Appa roared in approval. Momo did his cute noises to let his best friend know he understood what he wanted of him. Aang grabbed his glider and opened it up with his air bending. Katara jumped up onto the top of it as the two of them soared up into the sky. Katara was a veteran flying with Aang. When she first flew with Aang she was frightened of being in the air but now she was happy about it. In fact she loved it. It made her feel closer to Aang to be able to experience air bending without being an air bender herself.

Katara recalled the joyrides her and Aang use to take in the past just for fun up in the clouds. And then she recalled their wedding. They got married in Ba Sing Se at Iroh's tea shop. Iroh catered the wedding of course. He was soo happy to help on their special day, where they joined together forever. And there was plenty of tea. The two of them loved Iroh soo much. He was the sweetest and a good friend to them. Katara sighed. She began to blush thinking of how handsome Aang was in his air bender robes he wore on their special day. It was a fancier version of what he wore after the end of the war. And she was in a beautiful blue dress that flowed like a robe with a wreath of flowers around her head. The kiss they shared was so passionate and beautiful. Everyone was there at the wedding. It was a big event. Chong and the nomads played the music for the wedding. Katara wished they could replay that day again. Then she snapped outta her daydream.

The couple finally made it to Honshu Crag. Neither of them had ever been to Honshu Crag. And they could see why by the lay of the land. It was treacherous. The spikey cliffs were almost unreachable unless you were a skilled climber. They both looked up. Sure enough there was a water tribe temple up there. Aang couldn't use his glider to get both of them up there cause the atmosphere was too poisonous for his glider to work. He also noticed that he couldn't enter the avatar state here either cause of the poison. Aang was worried Haiko was waiting up there to ambush them when they got the scale. If Haiko did attack them Aang wouldn't have the avatar state to defend Katara. What would he do if things got bad? Aang grabbed Katara's hand and squeezed it nervously. She could tell something was wrong.

"What's on you're mind sweetie?" She asked concerned, giving his cheek a sweet kiss.

"I won't be able to protect you with the avatar state when we get inside. I can't activate it cause of the poisonous atmosphere up there. What if Haiko attacks us?? The scale key he possesses is bad enough but what if he uses his tar bending? That ability is no joke. What if I can't keep you safe?" Aang was very upset. Katara knew how to comfort him.

"Sweetie it will be ok" she said while nuzzling under his chin. "I doubt Haiko will be up there. I'm sure he already knows he can free the Planet Eater without the third key. I mean he can read all the ancient dialects so I'm positive he knows that by now. I believe he's searching for The Planet Eater's prison now so he won't be bothering us."

"Ok if you say so." Aang felt more calm by that thought. Maybe Katara was right. Maybe Haiko was far away searching for the prison and wasn't even at all interested in bothering them right now. They had enough to deal with already.

The couple began their climb up the crag. It took them a day to reach the top. They had to stop to sleep cause they couldn't travel at night. Too dark to see the path. When the morning sun started to shine they ate breakfast and traveled again finally reaching the temple by late morning.

The top of the mountain was soo barren. There was no life at all. But the temple itself was beautiful. It was the most intact one they've visited yet. Very little of it was ruins. Inside Katara easily found the seal. She proceeded to pound it with her water bending. Aang watched her work. He was impressed by Katara's abilities. Everything she did impressed him. Katara hammered at the square lock. This one was the hardest to break. She was getting quite the workout from it.

"You can do it Katara!! Keep it up. You're the greatest waterbender who ever lived!! I have complete faith in you!!! Go sweetie!! Hammer that thing!! Show it whose boss!!" Aang was the cutest cheerleader ever. He knew how to encourage her. His words gave her strength. Katara put even more power into her blasts. Finally it shattered and the door opened. A huge dust cloud spewed out. Katara jumped away from it just in case Haiko was hiding nearby. That first encounter with him which started all this still haunted her.

Aang cleared the dust with his airbending and grabbed to scale. He looked at it intently. It shone with rainbow colors. This thing didn't look deadly. But he knew it was. Aang put it in his robes. Katara was relieved they had gotten this scale with no trouble from Haiko. A big smile was on her face.

Suddenly Katara felt a pain in her shoulder. She cried out from the pain. She turned and looked at her injury and saw something had sliced her shoulder. It was bleeding pretty good. Katara had heard a wizzing sound right after she felt the pain. She and Aang looked around but they didn't see what had hurt Katara. Then they both heard a voice from in the shadows.

"Crap I missed. I was aiming for you're heart!" The voice said. Katara instantly recognized the voice. She knew who it was who tried to kill her and she couldn't believe it. She didn't want to believe it.

"Sokka why..." was all she could say. She was still in shock fighting back the tears.
