He declared, Kyros' eyes slightly widening, as an acrobatic man with refined attire appeared, Starkey shouting as a blue aura engulfed them from behind.
"But why..?! You can't even attack on your first turn!" Kyros reminded.
"Right you are, boy! However, Acrobat Verdi's effect when placed! I look at the top 5 cards of my deck, and from among them, I add a grade 3!" He declared, the top 5 cards manifesting in front of him, as he picked one up. "I add New Generation Star, Rising Nova 'Exceed' to my hand! I get it. Because the Progenitor Dragon will remain face-up, his teammates will be able to stride without paying the cost. He was thinking of what will come after him. He understands a Relay fight well. Alon thought to himself.

"If Kyros can just get another critical trigger, he can force Victor to 5 damage, and relay..! Go for it, Kyros!" Azure said, trying to encourage him, as Kyros took a deep breath, and held his hand out, the top card flying out, and revealing itself.

Drake called out, as a flaming pillar engulfed Drakon, as he came out, with his own sword and Gurguit's sword floating around them, as they appeared to be invoking fire magic. "Dracomaster, Drakon 'Mage Force'! Stride Skill!" Drake added, counterblasting and soulblasting. "I send Blackguard to the drop zone!" He called out, as Drakon rushed forward and slashed down the football star.

"Looks like it's my turn." Alon said, walking forward, and drawing 9 cards from the rotation. "I suppose it's too late for greetings? Although I'm very curious about your leader...So don't hold it against me if I try to make this quick." He said.
"You'll try." Drake said.
"Oh? Such confidence...I like that." Alon complimented. "However, since Spike Brothers is technically a Force clan, I can re-acquire their gifts. I choose to change that Accel 1...to Accel 2." He said, putting two markers down and drawing two cards.

Alon called out, as a young ocean-blue haired man wielding two blades appeared. "Imaginary Gift: Accel 2!" Alon added, as his front row increased. "Drake Fried of Azure Crimson, You and your team are respectable fighters, which is why I will make sure to give my all. I discard Blue Torrent, Bubble Ripper Dragon to release the Generation Zone. "Generation Stride! Become one with the storm, and surpass it! Blue Torrent Great Lord, Titus!" He called out, as Titus was now wielding swords engulfed in very swift spiraling waves. "Stride Skill." Alon then said, counterblasting and soulblasting. "I draw one card, and then call one card from my hand to a rear guard circle. Come! Blue Torrent, Blue!" Alon said, as a blue-haired mage-looking unit appeared in the leftmost Accel circle. "Add 5000 power, in addition, acquire a skill!" Alon declared.

"Aqua Force..." Drake realized. "But I've never seen 'Blue Torrents' before." He admitted.
"I assure you, they are quite powerful. Call! Blue Torrent, Osmios!" Alon declared, as an elderly looking man appeared behind Titus. "He may be a Grade 2, but when he's called, his effect activates." Alon declared, soulblasting. "I look at the top 7 cards of my deck, and superior call a Grade 1 or lower 'Blue Torrent' to either my back row, or to an Accel Circle. Come! Blue Torrent, Guarding Siren!" Alon declared, as a green-haired mermaid appeared to the left of Osmios. "Add 4000 power." Alon added. "In addition, Call! Blue Torrent Lord, Titus! Blue Torrent, Raging Siren! Blue Torrent, Loving Siren!" He declared, as Loving Siren, a blue haired mermaid that winked at Alon upon placement, took up the last back row spot, another Titus appearing in front of it, as Raging, a red-haired mermaid, appeared on an Accel circle. "Blue Torrent Great Lord, Titus' effect!" Alon added, counterblasting again, and flipping another copy of it face-up. "I draw one card, and Great Lord Titus acquires a skill." Alon said.
"He reinforced his board with units..." Drake commented, as Alon tossed another card to his last accel circle.
"In addition, one more Blue, and Bubble Ripper Dragon!" Alon said, as the blue haired mage appeared on the last Accel circle, and the large bubble-blowing dragon on the spot in front of Guarding Siren.
"Raging Siren attacks your Vanguard. The first! Wave!" Alon declared, holding his hand out. "During the 1st or 3rd battle of this turn, Raging Siren gains 8000 power!" He called out, as the mermaid powered up.

"I see. So you intend to save your guards for the real danger. While at the same time, you're hoping for a damage trigger. However, you've only got one more try at that before you'll be forced to relay." Alon said. "While I have a Blue Torrent Vanguard, Osmios can attack from the back row. The second! Wave!" Alon added. "Add 10000 power!" He declared.
"He keeps referring to every time he attacks as 'The'...He's clearly counting the number of battles that way..." Azure realized.

"Oh? It appears you intend to wait me out, or maybe you're willing to switch out to Azure already?" Alon asked.
"Like hell I am! If I don't try my best, then what Kyros did will have been for nothing! I'll keep fighting..!" Drake declared.
"Then let's continue. The Blue I called from my stride skill attacks. The third. From his own wave, he acquires 5000 power, and then from the Stride Skill, his attack cannot be guarded by just one unit!" Alon declared, as the mage blasted a stream of water, as Drake tossed two cards.

Alon declared, as Great Lord Titus also raised up their swords. "As the fourth wave comes in, If it was not caused by a Vanguard, Titus gains 1 drive!" He declared.

Alon declared, as the Great Lord Titus' swords engulfed in more light. "Generation Break 3. At the declaration of the fifth battle, If it was not done by a Vanguard, Titus gains an extra Critical." Alon added. "In addition, Blue Torrent Lord Titus' Wave! I add 10000 power! Then, If Titus is my Vanguard, or this is the 4th battle or more, Titus gains an additional Critical!" He declared, Drake's eyes slightly widening.

At that, Drake looked at his hand cards, and back at Azure, before nodding to him, and putting his hand cards away, and holding his hands out.
"No guard. However, the damage will stop once my damage zone becomes 8, regardless of your Critical." Drake reminded, as Alon closed his eyes and smiled.
"I know. You were impressive against Victor, though. You have my respect." Alon told Drake, as Titus slashed down Drakon, who hit the ground, and left the two swords of himself and Gurguit in the ground.

"Oh my, all too soon, Drake is forced to relay with their last in line, Azure Cova! It almost seems like Team Star Titan has had the advantage this whole time, can their leader turn things around?!" The announcer asked, as the audience couldn't even bring themselves to say anything or cheer, as the tension was in the air for them, as Drake simply high fived Azure as he walked past him.
"It's up to you, Azure. I left my board as open as possible, and since the Accel circles will disappear, Carinus and Siegwrym will go to the drop zone. You've got 8 damage and an empty board to play with, as well as 9 hand cards, since I had 6 left." Drake told Azure, who nodded, as he walked up.
"At the end of my turn, Loving Siren's effect activates." Alon said, moving it to the soul. "If 4 or more battles were done this turn, I counter charge. Then, if 5 or more were done, I draw one card." Alon said, drawing a card. "So, you're the leader of Azure Crimson. It's a pleasure to meet you." Alon said.
"...Is there any particular reason you wanted me to be called out?" Azure asked.
"Of course. That mystery clan of yours, the Abyszards. They're Magallanica, just like my Aqua Force. I can't help but feel a kinship with you." Alon said, as Azure held his hand out, 9 hand cards manifesting. "So, I hope you show me everything they can do." Alon said, as Azure held out two Force 1s, and put them on his Vanguard circle and front-left R circles.

"Come on, Azure!" Mira called out, Azure looking over at her. "You can do this! Even if there's two left, just keep trying! You can make it past both of them!" She told him, as Azure seemed to smile at that, and looked back at Alon.
"She's right. I don't intend to let my team down by losing. So bring it on, Alon!" Azure said, smiling.
"That's what I like to hear. Come, Azure!" Alon said, grinning.
"Geez, It's like the atmosphere changed already." Drake commented, noting the two seeming to be already having fun.
