p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanIt seems like not much time has passed before Tiir and I are called upon again. Ryner has sent us a message it seems. We, that is all the God's Eye bearers, are going to meet Ryner and the rest of the Anti-Roland Coalition and fight in the final battle. Lorelei is staying behind with Sairi taking care of her./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanI'm worried. I don't want to die and leave Tiir and Lorelei alone, nor do I want Tiir to die and leave us. As much as I hate to admit it, I'm scared. I'm sure Tiir knows my fear despite the fact that I haven't brought it up, considering how he hasn't let go of my hand even once since the start of our journey. Ene is leading us this time around. I know Tiir is worried regarding that. He doesn't want Ene to die. Ene is Tiir's closest friend. Enough said./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanWe travel in somber silence, knowing this journey may very well be our last. As much as I want to live, I can't predict what will happen in the final battle. I don't know all of the factors. Honestly, things could go either way. That's part of what scares me the most./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanWhen we get to where Ryner is waiting for us, he smiles. "Hello Tiir, Skye. I'm glad to see you guys, especially since we'd probably get our asses kicked without you," Ryner adds sheepishly./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanI roll my eyes. "Oh, I'm sure you could do alright without us, but if we have to save your ass… Ugh, you owe us."/span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"Alright, well, here's the plan. See, King Sion of Roland is really the black hero from the legends of old who is destined to devour me. The Goddesses sealed the black hero away before, but the lonesome devil saved him. I'm sort of like the lonesome devil reincarnate. Even my eyes changed. I no longer bear the Alpha Stigma. I have fully awakened as the solver of all formulas. I plan to use much of that power to defeat Sion and free him of the black hero's control. I'll need your help," Ryner concludes his plan and looks at Tiir and I expectantly./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanI glance over at Tiir. "Well, what do you think? This seems like a bad business what's going on. What should we do?" I ask./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"We fight. We hold our own and give Ryner time to implement his plan," Tiir answers me. With that, we take our positions by Ryner. All we have to do is wait for the Roland forces to arrive./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanRyner, Ene, Tiir, and I are currently in a building waiting for Sion to come. Ryner had sent a message to Sion to meet us here. The other God's Eye bearers are nearby. They'll help us if we're given much trouble./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanWe hear the crunching of footsteps on dried grass outside. The door opens, but it isn't Sion standing there. "Lucile! What are you doing here?!" Ryner shouts./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"My King sent me. I'm here to kill you and your friends," Lucile smirks./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanTiir, Ryner, and I ready ourselves to fight. Lucile lunges forward. He moves to fast for any of us to see, which causes some confusion. I reflexively look towards Ene. I spot Lucile just behind her. "Ene!" I shout out. It's too late. Ene is stabbed through the heart. She falls to the floor, still and lifeless, blood pouring out of the gaping wound in her chest./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanI catch Tiir's eye. He lets out a scream that tears through his throat. Tears are already filling his eyes and making their way down his cheeks. I've never seen him lose his composure to this degree before. I feel the tears enter my own eyes just while looking at him. I take him into my arms as we both begin sobbing. Ryner and his father (who has just arrived) drive Lucile away, but Tiir and I hardly take notice. We're too caught up in our grief to even care./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanThat is, until Ryner's father kneels before Ene. He uses some sort of magic and before I can even ask what's going on, he sacrifices his own life to bring Ene back. Ene opens her eyes and looks around. Tiir sits beside her. "Ene, you're alright!"/span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"Who are you?" Ene asks. /span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanTiir's face drops. "Eh? Ene, you know me. You've known me for years. I'm Tiir Rumibul! Ene, please! Don't you remember?" Tiir asks desperately./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"No…I don't…" Ene trails off. Her brows furrowed in confusion./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"I don't think she remembers us, Tiir, and look at her hair and eyes. Both back to normal, as if she had never born the God's Eye Torch Curse," I point out./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"Then, what will we do? Who will lead us if Ene no longer remembers?" Tiir asks./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"You will, Tiir. You'll make a great leader. I trust you with all of my heart and I will always follow you," I reply with a small, sad smile./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"Thank you, Skye. You always make the darker times seem brighter. I love you," Tiir kisses me lightly on the cheek./span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /span"I love you, too," I reply. We meet up with the God's Eye bearers outside. After telling them what happened, Ryner takes us all somewhere to rest. There's still a battle coming. We have to be ready for it. /span/p
